The Myth of the Fiscal Conservative

There are some who live in a fantasy world that believe moral values are not necessary to maintaining a solid conservative government. They reject the idea that it takes a firm set of convictions to stop government waste and intrusion. They call themselves “fiscal conservatives” and want us to believe that the only qualification to be worthy of our support is to be in favor of a smaller government.
Instead of using science as the path the truth, it is being used like a drunk clinging to a lamp post… more for support than illumination. This is the very same intellectual dishonesty they continually accuse those who are foolish enough to actually believe the principles of the Bible.
It seems the Senator John McCain is not satisfied with his glorious second place finish in last November’s election and the massive losses of the party that rode his coattails to defeat. Undeterred by by his rejection by both the right and the left, he is pushing forward with his plans to remake the party in his own image.
