Obamacare is the equivalent of the Confederate States declaring succession and the first shots fired at Fort Sumpter. That time it took a war to restore the Union, but this time a huge majority of people, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, independents, and every other political flag other than the Communist and Socialist Parties USA is opposed to this 2,700 page monstrosity.
If the Kamikaze Congress does, indeed, pass ObamaCare into law, the battle cry from the voters of America will immediately become “REPEAL OBAMACARE.” Public relations campaigns are already being planned around the concept. Candidates who subscribe to a repeal of ObamaCare, and promise to work towards such a goal, will be virtual “shoo-ins” at the polls in November.
If Obama wins, America loses. The “reforms” will ultimately end up killing people who would otherwise have survived illness or injury if it is implemented. Beyond that, Obama’s efforts to control large segments of the economy will pick up momentum. …
While many Americans do agree that some oversight or even changes must occur with the current health care set-up it should be noted that the reasons it has not been able to pass so far is that only one side, the Obama/ Pelosi love affair has been unwilling to waver on various agendas.
If natural progression holds true, next will come the National RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip implanted at birth. It will broadcast a radio signal all the days of your life telling the government who you are, and where you are, at all times. National ID, of any kind, takes away one of your basic rights, the right to privacy.
The Tea (Taxed Enough Already) movement has been defined as populist, conservative, and libertarian in tone. It is a movement diverse in leadership and organization but united in its defense of liberty and the constitution. Its members are technologically savvy and able to mobilize in a moments notice. It is anti-elitist, anti-big government, and anti-big business.
Now we are to be presented with a “revised” version of The Amnesty Bill dating all the way back to the Bush Administration. Oh, it will be called something other than “The Amnesty Bill.” In fact, they are already referring to it as “The Comprehensive Immigration Bill.” But you and I know it is the same bill, the one we referred to as The Amnesty Bill.
The Founding Fathers of America understood that a strong central government would never work in a republican form of government, the form of government they gave the American people. They knew that. They had just declared the independence of Americans from the “strong central government” of King George of Great Britain.
Islam is the religion of peace? The religion of peace was a failure in Mohammed’s day. Without jihad, there would be no Islam. Islam owes its growth and power to its politics. Whether it is the religion is of peace or not is of no consequence. Islam is the politics of oppression and lethal force.
The “gun grabbers” have not given up. Oh, no! They are “true believers,” choosing to believe in the myth and the fairy tale that if you take people’s guns away America will be a safer place. They believe this in spite of the facts out there for everyone to see.
It looks dead. But is it? Poke it with a stick and see if it moves. Hold a mirror beneath its nostrils and watch for condensation. If this were the TV series “CIS” or “NCIS” we’d punch a spike thermometer through its abdomen, and into the liver, to determine time of death – if any.
Alinsky taught that Americans must be overwhelmed with a never-ending barrage of crisis, emergencies, and unworkable ‘solutions’ that exacerbate problems. This is why Rahm Emanuel, the President’s Chief of Staff, famously said that a crisis should never be wasted.
Ok, let me see if I can break it down for you. What Obama is planning to do is: Take you savings, the money you have squirreled away for your retirement in 401-K’s and IRA’s, and hand you an IOU with which they will promise to pay you a small annuity each month of your retirement.
Being ignorant of the intent of our nation’s Founding Fathers, of the limitations on the federal government found in the U.S. Constitution, of the deliberate separation of powers in our government’s executive, judicial, and legislative branches, and of history in general puts people at a disadvantage to recognize a threat to the nation and their freedom.
OK, so the pitchforks and torches are not out YET, but, by golly, they are ready and waiting. Reports are becoming more persistent that conservative lawmakers, in about half the states, are forging ahead with constitutional amendments to ban government health insurance mandates.
Last weekend the San Francisco Chronicle “outed” Proposition 8 Judge Vaughn Walker as an active practitioner of the homosexual lifestyle: “The biggest open secret in the landmark trial over same-sex marriage being heard in San Francisco is that the federal judge who will decide the case, Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, is himself gay,” revealed the Chronicle.
Planning to circumvent the Senate’s deliberative process is not a sign of good faith. Releasing the President’s proposal four days prior to his so called bipartisan meeting so that the CBO will not have time to analyze its costs is not a sign of good faith. These are signs of the arrogance of absolute power gone mad.
In the upcoming “summit” between Obama and the Republicans on his ObamaCare proposal… you know, the one the American people have flatly rejected… you can forget the democrats tossing out anything in the current proposal. Ain’t gonna happen. The dems, with the added weight of Obama, hope to overwhelm the Republicans and force them into folding.
I say again, the majority of Americans do not want government-run socialized medicine. The progressives/socialist/Marxists/democrats are dead set on ramming it down our throats despite that fact. This so-called healthcare summit with the Obama Regime is just another way to do that ramming.
So, why should anyone want to impose licensing on bloggers? Why did King George want to limit the Colonist’s access to printing presses and their output? Why do the Chinese, Iranian & Egyptian regimes imprison and torture bloggers? Censorship is the tyrant’s way of preserving his grip on power. In a relatively free society, censorship is the first rung on the ladder to tyranny.
One hundred fifty years ago, Charles Darwin, an unremarkable British naturalist, was able to beguile the entire education, political, scientific and intellectual world with his sophistic and unscientific theories of the origin of man as chronicled in his two famous books: “The Origin of Species” (1859) and “The Descent of Man” (1871).
I have the an uneasy feeling that the American citizenry is being led down the “Primrose Path” — a path, I’m afraid, that leads to destruction. I am beginning to think it may very well be time for all of us to ask ourselves if we are prepared to survive in a post apocalyptic America? …
If you have been following the news lately, you know Obama’s Organizing for America, the controversial community organizing group founded to push Obama’s agenda, has been recruiting for interns in the nation’s high schools. The agenda for the Organzing for America internship includes Saul Alinky’s Rules for Radicals and organizing for Obama’s brand of socialist changes in America.
