IRANIAN “TERRORIST” PLOT UNRAVELS

Would Iran recruit a used car salesman with a memory problem to conduct assassinations in the US?

This is a question you have to ask yourself when evaluating the alleged Iranian “terrorist” plot supposedly uncovered by Attorney General Eric Holder the other day. The arrest of Mansour Arbabsiar, a 56-year-old Iranian immigrant who came to this country as a college student, was the occasion for a trumpet blast of anti-Iranian propaganda and belligerent declarations by US officials, who vowed to “hold Iran accountable” for purportedly mounting a plot to kill the Saudi ambassador, bomb the Saudi and Israeli embassies in Washington, and strike at the Jewish community in Argentina.

The alleged plot was supposed to have been carried out by a member of the Zetas drug cartel, who was to be paid up to $1.5 million to implement the plan. US officials, even while acknowledging the “B-movie” aspect of the story, reportedly “fanned out” to convince our allies the plot was real and – with Congress already demanding new sanctions on Iran – that the economic vise be tightened. Not only are the more hysterical neocons calling for military action against Iran – no surprise there — but the headlines had the normally staid and relatively reserved Steve Clemons, a prominent Obama shill, babbling that “this is a serious situation” and “the U.S. has reached a point where it must take action,” and Sen. Carl Levin calling the plot “an act of war.”

Less than 24 hours after Holder’s press conference, the whole fantasy began to unravel under closer scrutiny. Gary Sick, of the Middle East Institute at Columbia University, averred that the alleged plot “departs from all known Iranian policies and procedures,” and went on to write:

“It is difficult to believe that they would rely on a non-Islamic criminal gang to carry out this most sensitive of all possible missions. In this instance, they allegedly relied on at least one amateur and a Mexican criminal drug gang that is known to be riddled with both Mexican and U.S. intelligence agents.

“Whatever else may be Iran’s failings, they are not noted for utter disregard of the most basic intelligence tradecraft, e.g. discussing an ultra-covert operation on an open international line between Iran and the U.S. Yet that is what happened here.”

Kenneth Katzman, a Middle East analyst with the Congressional Research Office, concurs:

“There is simply no precedent — or even reasonable rationale — for Iran working any plot, no matter where located, through a non-Muslim proxy such as Mexican drug gangs. No one high up in the Quds, the I.R.G.C. command, the Supreme National Security Committee, or anywhere else in the Iranian chain of command would possibly trust that such a plot could be kept secret or carried out properly by the Mexican drug people. They absolutely would not trust such a thing to them, given Iran’s undoubted assumption that the Mexicans are penetrated by the D.E.A. and F.B.I. and A.T.F., etc — and indeed this plot was revealed by just such a U.S. informant….

“Are we to believe that this Texas car seller was a Quds sleeper agent for many years resident in the U.S.? Ridiculous. They (the Iranian command system) never ever use such has-beens or loosely connected people for sensitive plots such as this.”

Ridiculous – that just about says it all.

But as Ayn Rand once said: “Don’t bother to question a fallacy, ask yourself only what it accomplishes.” The idea is to target Iran as the next al-Qaeda: with the late unlamented Osama bin Laden out of the picture, the US has to find a replacement – and quick! – in order to justify its decade-long post-9/11 rampage across the Middle East and much of the rest of the world. What’s a war without an enemy? Iran has always been the War Party’s ultimate Middle Eastern target, and now they are making their move.

As an opening shot in a propaganda war, Holder’s startling announcement had high impact – but low credibility, as the excitement died down and the details came into focus. The problem with the narrative woven by the Justice Department is that the supposed fulcrum of this heinous plot, Senor Arbabsiar, is hardly the sort of character who makes a convincing terrorist/foreign agent. Longtime associate Tom Hosseini, a fellow Iranian-American who has known Arbabsiar for over 30 years, wondered aloud to a Washington Post reporter “how anyone – but most especially an elite military organization such as Iran’s Quds force — would get involved with Arbabsiar in the first place.”

“Maybe,” says Hosseini, “somebody offered him some money. He doesn’t have the brain to say no.”

Arbabsiar certainly had a lot of money on him when he and Hosseini met in Iranian Kurdistan last August: the Post reports he was “waving around crisp $100 bills” and declaring that there was a lot more where that came from. Yet Arbabsiar’s many businesses – “from used cars to kebabs” – had all failed. Perhaps this lack of business acumen was tied to his general inability to think straight, or, as the Post puts it: ”

“Within the small Iranian American community in this Gulf Coast city, Arbabsiar, 56, was well known and well liked. But he was also renowned for being almost comically absent-minded, perpetually losing keys, cellphones, briefcases, anything that wasn’t tied down.”

The Post profile is headlined “Mansour Arbabsiar recalled as upbeat about finances during summer encounter,” but the actual story deserves a title more along the lines of “The ‘terrorist’ who couldn’t think straight”:

“‘He was just not organized,’ said David Tomscha, who once owned a car lot with Arbabsiar. ‘He would lose the titles to cars. Or he’d say it was a 1989 Grand Marquis when it was an ’82. And when you’d call him on it, he’d say, ‘What’s the difference?’ Eventually, I bought him out.’”

“There is a certain bewilderment in Corpus Christi that anyone as apparently hapless as Arbabsiar could get involved in an international conspiracy. ‘A goofy guy who always had a smile on his face,’ said Mitchel Hamauei, also a store owner. ‘Let me put it this way: He’s no mastermind.’”

Either the Iranian Revolutionary Guards have lowered their standards considerably, or Arbabsiar wasn’t working for them, but for someone else. The question is: who are the real masterminds? Whoever they are, their intent was clear: this was a plot designed to be discovered.

The sheer implausibility of the position taken by both the US Justice Department and the State Department – that the Iranian government was behind the plot – necessitates a more subtle spin, such as the view taken by Meir Javadenfar, of the Israel-based Middle East Economic and Political Analysis Company. Javadenfar speculates that the whole thing was a “set up” of the Supreme Ayatollah Khamenei by a dissident faction within the Iranian national security apparatus. This assumes, of course, that the patently ridiculous Official Story is true, and even heightens its impact: for if there is a “rogue” element at work within Iranian ruling circles, then the danger is even more extreme. After all, here are presumed radicals who wouldn’t hesitate to bring destruction – in the form of US bombs falling on Tehran – on their own country, and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to inflict the same and worse on American soil.

This view, however, is fatally flawed, in that it assumes the veracity of the Justice Department’s narrative, which, as we have seen, is a fiction that fails – and fails badly – in the realm of character development. It is just not credible that the goofy Arbabsiar, who may have sustained brain damage as the result of a brutal beating he received in his student years, was the mastermind behind a plot that might have proved to be a twenty-first century Sarajevo.

More interesting, and much more credible, is the view of Hamid Serri, an Iran expert at Florida International University, who is cited in the New York Times as suggesting “another alternate explanation for the plot”:

“That it could have been the work of a non-Iranian intelligence agency or even a terrorist organization with an interest in creating ‘a confrontation that involves the U.S., Iran and Saudi Arabia.’ Referring to the fact that the only money that apparently changed hands before the alleged plot was exposed was $100,000 wired from what was said to be an Iranian-controlled bank account to a man posing as a member of the Mexican cartel Los Zetas (who turned out to be an informant for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency), Mr. Serri observed that this would be a ‘cheap price’ for an enemy of Iran to pay for the damning headlines that have appeared since the alleged plot was exposed.”

Which non-Iranian intelligence agencies and/or terrorist organizations would stand to gain from such a confrontation? I can think of two: the Israelis and al-Qaeda. The former, after all, have been agitating for war quite openly; and as for al-Qaeda, those vultures are likely to be found circling over any Middle Eastern battlefield.

In choosing between these two as the likely culprit, I’ll await fresh evidence before making a final judgment. I would note, however, that al-Qaeda isn’t in very good shape these days, with their top leadership mostly dead, and their ranks scattered and demoralized.

The Israelis, on the other hand, have both the means and the motivation: they are desperate to provoke a war between the US and Iran, and have been for years. Moreover, there are elements of Netanyahu’s government who would stop at nothing to achieve this end. Remember that Avigdor Lieberman is the Foreign Minister, and controls a good chunk of the Israeli national security bureaucracy: his extremist party, the successor to the infamous Kach movement, which wants to deport all Arabs and create a “Greater Israel,” is the electoral expression of the radical “settler” movement, which is now defying the Israeli army and carrying out terrorist attacks within Israel. In Weimar Israel, the extremists are on the rise – and they have their supporters within the establishment and the government itself, including the intelligence services.

Analysts often point, almost by default, to the option of attributing the alleged plot to a “rogue faction” of the Iranian government, but it’s just as likely – if not more likely – that this “rogue faction” is Israeli. It wouldn’t be the first time the Israelis have been strongly suspected of carrying out extensive covert activities in the US.

If, indeed, this is the case, then the question arises: has Holder’s Justice Department been duped, or are they complicit in the deception? In this scenario, no doubt evidence of both will rise to the surface, but I’m betting on the former. These are the same people who were duped by the Zetas into funneling sophisticated American-made weapons across the border to replenish the cartel’s arsenal, and it looks to me like that same undercover operation has been duped — by an unknown third party — into provoking an incident that could lead to World War III.

Another possibility is that the Justice Department thought this up all by themselves, as a way to curry favor within an administration where they’re no doubt on the outs, and also to justify their Mexican operation, of which “Fast and Furious” is but a small part. The Law of Bureaucratic Self-Justification applies here, and that could well be the full explanation – although it may have played a complementary role to Serri’s thesis.

In any case, what you need to know about this case is that it’s one-hundred percent baloney, from start to finish. It’s the crudest sort of war propaganda, the kind that insults the intelligence of the audience it is supposed to convince – and that, too, is a clue to its provenance.

From the outset of the escalating crisis in Egypt, we’ve seen indications President Barack Obama and his cohorts have been working behind the scenes to destabilize the country, in the hope of transforming the 30-year ally of the U.S. into a radical Islamist regime — and with it, other Middle Eastern allies of America as well.

The “sham democracy movement” being publicly pushed by the president and his fellow leftists in the Middle East is actually “a naked betrayal of our Middle Eastern allies, and by extension, our own country,” writes Jim Simpson at American Thinker.

The fact that the Obama administration favors a role for the extremist Muslim Brotherhood in running the post-Mubarak country is telling. The Muslim Brotherhood, created in 1928, is “behind practically every Muslim terrorist organization ever formed,” in Simpson’s words — and as such is likely to seize control of Egypt if given even limited opportunity.

“Obama uniformly sides with our enemies,” Simpson says, “but rarely, if ever, with our friends and allies. His administration is packed with far-left radicals and vicious anti-Semites. And therein lies the rub, because what we are witnessing in reality is this President’s un-American, anti-American, treasonous ideology in full play” over the last two weeks.

Obama and The Brotherhood

By all indications, the president’s agenda appears to include destroying not just America, but Western Civilization as well, as evidenced by his dictatorial handling of the Egyptian uprising and his throwing of support behind the dangerous Muslim Brotherhood.

That organization’s goal is global Islamic domination, imposition of Sharia law on all the world’s population, annihilation of Israel, and the collapse of all Western institutions. Linked to the Nazis during World War II, and fond of disseminating Hitler’s Mein Kampf, the Muslim Brotherhood has sought to “deepen and extend already existing hostile views about Jews and secular Western societies generally,” according to author Jeffrey Herf.
Long outlawed in Egypt, the Brotherhood is the largest opposition group in that country. Touted as “the world’s most influential Islamist movement” by Al Jazeera, the Brotherhood has spawned at least twelve Muslim terrorist groups, including al Qaeda and Hamas.
Its plan for America, discovered by the FBI, states that the Muslim Brotherhood seeks to “destroy the American civilization.”

In warning conservatives about this scheme last week at CPAC, David Horowitz said, “The plan called for building a secret leadership in America and for the creation of a series of Brotherhood front groups that would appear to be participants in America’s democracy until the time came when and where force would be necessary to accomplish the Brotherhood’s goals.”

And our usurping President wants to let the Muslim Brotherhood stick its “camel’s nose” — so to speak — in the door of Egypt’s governing tent and let all hell break loose in the Middle East?
When it was announced that Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak stepped down Friday, a leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood declared that “the main goal of the revolution has been achieved,” signaling that the camel’s nose was already inside the tent.

Downplaying the threat

Although the Muslim Brotherhood is absolutely dedicated to imposing Shariah law upon the entire world, Obama and the Egyptian youth movement seem content to look the other way, knowing that many Muslims would favor changing current laws in their countries to allow stoning as punishment for adultery, hand amputation for theft, and death for those who convert from the Islam religion, according to a poll released by the Pew Research Center. The poll reveals a mind-set that is barbaric, to say the least. Are we to really believe that the people of Egypt generally want freedom? The mainstream media are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

A former Muslim Brotherhood member, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, is a fellow at the conservative think-tank American Enterprise Institute and lives in the United States. She’s convinced that, notwithstanding some reports to the contrary, the Muslim Brotherhood plans to seize control of Egypt, and says “the politicization of Islam” is the whole reason the Brotherhood exists. Blinders

Most conservative political writers appear to see through the Transparent President’s un-American desire to consolidate Muslim influence in the Middle East — an outcome that would enable the Muslim Brotherhood to threaten the security of both Israel and the United States.

It’s shocking, on the other hand, that some prominent conservative figures refuse to understand that the president is purposely seeking to compromise our country for unsettling and nefarious reasons. They still speak of him as merely a far-left, boilerplate Democrat ideologue, ignoring the more sinister implications of his actions. Some are seemingly very excited about the regime change and applaud Obama’s throwing of Mubarak under the bus. Why? What are they championing? In the real world of politics, America has often been forced to work with leaders of foreign countries because their presence is in the best interest for our country and the lesser of two evils. The United States has never installed dictators in any country.

Obama, meanwhile, has forced his radical political policies upon Americans ever since he began his presidency. With each day that passes, he seems to give little care to what he has done to our country. He is not dimwitted or naive. To be blunt, Obama despises the Declaration of Independence which trumpets life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; the Constitution which establishes our representative republic; and a Creator who gives us our inalienable rights.

It appears that Obama rather enjoys nudging Americans to the edge of despair. He is determined to reach his goal of transforming America. Could it be that America will become, as a result of his actions, some sort of a socialistic Muslim Calipate?

The president evidently has way too much sympathy for Islam — as well as a skewed globalistic vision that seeks to undermine Judeo-Christian values and the exceptionalism of the United States.

Ayers in Egypt

WorldNetDaily’s Jack Cashill recently wrote a thought-provoking piece titled “Ayers, Obama and the destabilization of Egypt.” Here are excerpts:
“We know that Bill Ayers, Obama mentor and former terrorist, has been mucking about in Egypt, but we cannot know for sure what that portends.
“What seems clear from the record is that Ayers and his circle — perhaps Obama himself — are less concerned with the future of Egypt than they are with the future of Israel, a country whose ‘story of itself’ Ayers has denounced as ‘elaborate, self-aggrandizing and thoroughly dishonest.’

“From the hard left’s perspective, Israel is the Mini-Me to America’s Dr. Evil. For this crowd, Islam is little more than a tool with which to destroy both.

“In the way of background, Ayers was among the 1,400 or so leftists from around the world who descended on Egypt a little more than a year ago with plans to march on Gaza.” Full Article

Window closing on political solutions

I’ve just about reached the point where I’m extremely concerned there are few political answers remaining to spare America from its approaching fate. Each day, we’re held hostage by an administration whose objective seems to be to continuously overwhelm and smother us under the weight of big government and a Marxist philosophy of redistributing wealth.

Don’t misunderstand me. As I have emphasized before, political action can help, to a large extent, in getting many needed changes accepted and instituted. However, America is falling apart morally, materially, and militarily because of its loss of decent and acceptable standards.

We have allowed the progressives to change us. Conservative, traditionalist Christians are ignoring “thus saith the Lord” on a myriad of social issues. Why is it that some can’t bring themselves to acknowledge that the Ten Commandments still matter to God? Such loss of moorings occurs when man thinks higher of his own opinions than those of God’s. “There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of destruction” (Proverbs 14:12).

My advice to my readers is to find a biblically-sound church and prepare yourselves and family for the days that are fast approaching. I can envision our country being left in shambles from radical Islamic attacks, while simultaneously enduring a total breakdown caused by civil unrest. There are many scenarios one could imagine. God’s Word says it all in the books of Daniel and Revelation.

God reigns

Scripture is filled with verses containing words such as afraid, anxiety, anxious, fret, frightened, and terrified. Many references have to do with what people are anxious and fearful about, while others pertain to the promises of divine reassurance to those who are faithful. The message “Do not be afraid” runs across Scripture with strength and persistence. And why not? After all, fear and anxiety have been part of human existence since sin entered this earth. There will never be peace in a world that is fallen and riddled with sin.

Everything we’re experiencing will have to be turned over to The Almighty. Don’t be as the foolish virgins who were unprepared to meet the Bridegroom. (See Matt. 25:1-13.) Trust in God. Being prepared spiritually brings calm and is the key factor in looking to the future.

Do not neglect your personal relationship with a very loving God. Come 2012, be prepared to vote for conservatives. If it’s God’s will, America can be reset and put back on the correct course. The Lord is gracious and will hold back the four winds of strife. In these two verses, we’re given a glimpse of what the angels will be doing: Mark 13:27 and Matthew 24:31

Renew America has been giving a clarion call. Return to God and He will heal our land.

A common complaint against Islam is that the “good” Muslims don’t condemn the Muslims who are terrorists.

Lately, an old declaration by a fiqh council has been popping up. [A fiqh council is made of Islamic jurists who are experts in Sharia law and it applications.] Dozens of imams and Islamic groups condemn terrorism by signing a fatwa [judgment]. It sounds great, but how does it look under closer examination? Take this sentence:

“Islam strictly condemns religious extremism and the use of violence against innocent lives.”

What could be possibly wrong with this strict condemnation? The possible splinter in the banister is what specific words mean. Take “extremism” for example. The average Kafir (non-believer) thinks of terror. Terror is extreme, by definition, but what we are actually talking about is religious extremism, in particular, Islam. What is extreme Islam? Surely Islamic terrorism is extreme Islam.

Before we can examine “extreme Islam”, we must define Islam. Islam is the political/religious doctrine found the Koran and the Sunna (Mohammed’s perfect life-example.) The Sunna is found in the Sira (Mohammed’s biography) and the Hadith (the Traditions, small Mohammed stories). The Koran, the Sira and the Hadith compose the Trilogy. The Trilogy defines Islam. If it is in the Trilogy, it is Islam. If it is in the Trilogy it is normal Islam.

What is the content of the Trilogy? Murder, plots against the enemies of Islam, assassinations, mass executions, sneak attacks, torture, Jew-hatred, theft, kidnappings, open warfare, and more. Since they are in the Trilogy, these actions are normal, not extreme. September 11 attack on the World Trade Center was not extremism.

So far as terror goes, terror is as Islamic as a call-to-prayer.

Koran 8:12 Then your Lord spoke to His angels and said, “I will be with you. Give strength to the believers. I will send terror into the Kafirs’ hearts, cut off their heads and even the tips of their fingers!”

Bukhari 1,7,331 Mohammed:
I have been given five things, which were not given to any one else before me:
1. Allah made me victorious by awe, by His frightening my enemies for a distance of one month’s journey.

The fiqh council’s fatwa includes a quote from the Koran:

Koran 5:32 whoever killed a human being, unjustly, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind.

The problem is that this quote from the Islamic scholars is taqiyya (sacred deception). Look at what they left out:

Koran 5:32 That was why We laid it down for the Jews that whoever killed a human being, unjustly, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind

That advice was for the Jews–the Jews, not the Muslims. Let’s examine the next two verses that advise the Muslims:

Koran 5:33 Those that make war against Allah and His apostle and spread disorder in the land shall be slain or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or be banished from the land. They shall be held up to shame in this world and sternly punished in the hereafter: except those that repent before you reduce them. For you must know that Allah is forgiving and merciful.

Koran 5:35 Believers, have fear of Allah and seek the right path to Him. Fight valiantly for His cause, so that you may triumph.

When Muslims kill a Kafir, it is regarded as a sacred act, jihad.

Now look at the word, “innocent”. Mohammed sent out his jihadists on seven raids before they were successful on their eighth attempt to destroy the Kafirs’ caravan. It is significant that they used deception to accomplish this task. The jihadists disguised themselves as “religious” pilgrims to approach the caravan drivers. They murdered one, captured those who did not escape and stole their merchandise.

What was the guilt of the caravan drivers? They were Meccan Kafirs. That was their only guilt. We might say that they were innocent, but they were part of a group that denied the fact that Mohammed was the prophet of the only god, Allah. That is guilt enough to be murdered. No one who denies that Mohammed is the prophet of Allah is innocent.

If you know the doctrine of Islam, the entire fatwa condemning terrorism is pure deception. Why be surprised? Mohammed repeatedly advised Muslims to deceive if it would advance the Islamic cause, and the fiqh council follows the Sunna of Mohammed to the letter.

The reason that this deception works is the average Kafir politician, reporter, pastor, priest or rabbi is deliberately and willfully ignorant. It is not that Islam is so skillful; but that Kafir leaders are such ignorant, politically correct cowards who refuse to educate themselves to the detriment of their own religious faith and their own country.

In a discussion on this topic, it is essential that we draw some distinctions and define terms. We must distinguish between Muslims and Islamists. Muslims represent perhaps 1/3 of the population of the planet. Being a Muslim occurs by birth. If your father is a Muslim, you are considered a Muslim.

Islamists, on the other hand, are so by profession of faith. They have chosen to adhere to the doctrines, dogmas and dictates of the Islamic faith and its leadership.

Indulge me for a moment as I refer to an old Baptist Minister friend’s estimation of the Mission Field – he felt there were 3 separate fields to be reached. The “heathen” (not an insult, but a reference to those living in places where they have never had opportunity to hear the Gospel); the “unchurched” (which he defined as those who had been exposed to the gospel but had not committed to it); and the “Churchgoing Heathen” (which he also referred to as “Pew Polishers” – those who’s butts occupied the seats but whose hearts were elsewhere.) He felt that the IN-Reach to the churchgoer who was committed to attendance but not to God or the Bible was the most important mission field, because these people were nominally Christian but were both self-deceived and would receive a rude awakening… and because they were CALLED Christians by the rest of the world, but they were a poor representative of Christ.

Why did I bring this up in a discussion of Islamophobia?

Because just as there are both faithful and committed Christians – and nominal Christians who wear a cross but are not committed to the doctrines, dogmas and dictates of Christianity… There are Islamists who are the faithful, committed adherents to Islamic teaching, and there are the Muslims who have nominal connection to Islam culturally, but who have less than a personal commitment to full “submission” (The word “ISLAM” means “submission”) to all the tenets of the faith.

The subject of this discussion is NOT the nominal Muslim who lives his life; makes a living; provides for his family and lives in peaceful co-existence with his neighbors whether they share his faith or not.

The Islamist, by virtue of his commitment to the doctrines taught in the Quran, is and MUST BE what is commonly referred to as a “radical” by the Politically Correct Media. Radicalism and Jihadism is the NORM amongst FAITHFUL Islam; as it cannot be otherwise! Muslims who are NOT committed to Jihad – who reject the idea of Dhimmitude, conversion, or death for all “infidels” – who are willing to peacefully engage with the western world – are APOSTATES to the “pure” teaching of Islam. They are “churchgoing heathen” in the eyes of the Islamic world.

So, we discuss here those who fit the above-defined “ISLAMIST”.

While the Islamic world (and our own liberal press) will cast those who question the motives or oppose the actions of Islamists as Islamophobic , let me point out the obvious:

If you use TERROR to advance your agenda… and your “philosophy” is responsible for more than 90% of ALL terror acts worldwide for the last several decades; then why would you cry “ISLAMOPHOBIA!” when the rest of the world is leery of you? ISLAM-O-PHOBIA = fear of Islam. Isn’t the very point of Terrorism to instill fear? Mission accomplished, Jihadis! As the joke in Psychiatric circles goes… It isn’t paranoia if they really ARE after you, y’know!

Americans have learned, from the experiences of Israel from 1948 to the present; to the Lebannon Barracks; to the Achille Lauro, to Lockerbie, to the USS Cole; to the first WTC bombing in 1993, to 9/11 to the beheading of Daniel Pearl, to the Ft Hood massacre and more: Islamists will utilize terror against innocents to advance their agenda. They have also become familiar with the dictates of the Quran demanding the violent subjugation of those who do not accept and submit to Islam. So is there any wonder that we are at least cautiously apprehensive when it comes to dealings with the “faithful” within Islam?

Let me again emphasize here that I have NO BEEF with the common Muslim who lives his life in obscurity. However it is impossible to co-exist peacefully with one who embraces the Fundamental Wahhabist , Caliphate seeking, Jihadist mindset of the Islamist. As I try to tell my liberal acquaintances sporting that goofy “COEXIST” bumper-sticker… Coexistence is ONLY possible if none of the parties is fatally committed to the utter destruction of any other!

So, then; Are Americans Islamophobic? Well, in a word, YES! We have a healthy caution; a leery apprehension; a distrust and suspicion when it comes to those who claim adherence to Fundamental Islam.

Are Americans Bigoted Xenophobes because the above statement is true? Judge for yourselves – but I think not.

Pastor Terry Jones did the nation a service by bringing  a burning issue to the front burner and let it down by failing to fully exploit the issue.  He should have explained in detail why the Qur’an should be burned and  and exhorted people to read it.  He should especially have exhorted preachers to read the most egregious  ayat from their lecterns to educate their congregations.

Jones did another great disservice to the nation and the free world by backing down in the face of Islamic threats and governmental condemnation.  Backing down to threats reinforces those who make the threats.  When we back down, the bullys experience triumph and are encouraged by it to  issue more threats in the future.

There was no need to burn hundreds of Qur’ans and no benefit from it.  Burning one is sufficient for the symbolic act of resistance to Islamic intimidation, infiltration, sedition and conquest.

Had he burned just one English translation of the Qur’an,  he could have answered the hordes of Muslim protesters with a simple statement that he did not burn their sacred book; Muslims do not consider translations to be  sacred.

Another Christian activist and  associates gathered near the White House to protest  Islamic violence.  They  crumpled pages torn from a paperback translation of the Qur’an.  The torn pages were selected for their violent, anti-Christian content.  Think Progress reports that Andrew Beacham did the tearing while Randall Terry explained which  verses were selected and why.  In a radio interview with Sean Hannity, Terry urged listeners to read the Qur’an.  Hannity agreed and announced that he would have a special Qur’an reading hour this week,  possibly as soon as Tuesday September 14.

Randall Terry also gave  the url of his blog, which contains two papers he wrote for one of his courses in a Masters degree program. I did not catch it off the air, but hope I found it with a Google search.  A press release revealed that two papers were distributed at the protest.  Earth Times published a list of the torn ayat.  9:5-6 are listed, 9:29, 30, 33 & 123 are interesting omissions.

1) “Is Islamic Sharia law incompatible with international laws of human rights for freedom of thought, conscience, religion and expression?”

2) “How do the words and deeds of Islamic terrorists, or Muslims who call for acts of terror and violence, emulate the words and deeds of Muhammad?”

There is one thing more important than incinerating a Qur’an: becoming familiar with  its evil content.   Noel Yatom published a list of 164 violent verses. The Calcutta Qur’an Petition lists some critical ayat which establish the doctrine of jihad: offensive conquest.

During his early days in Medina, the Prophet apprehended attacks from the Quraish of Meeca.  So he formed the Muslim-Jewish alliance as a defensive measure.  Allah came forward with “revelations” (22.39-41) permitting the Prophet to fight in self-defence, and promising help.  But no attacks came from Mecca so that the Prophet was left free to break his alliance with the Jews and form his own Muslim Ummah.  Allah obliged immediately by converting the permission into a command (2.216; 4.76-77, 84, 8.39, 66- 66).  War against the Pagans now became obligatory on all Muslims.  Muslims were to go out and attack the infidels in regular military formations (4.71; 8.15; 9.123; 61.4). …Allah had purchased the lives and properties of the Muslims in exchange for dominion in this word and paradise hereafter (2.244-45; 9.111).  Avoiding jihAd became a great sin and violation of the covenant with Allah (2.218; 3.156; 4.74, 77, 95; 9.24, 38-39, 81.84). Becoming a martyr (shahId) became the highest merit for every Muslim (2.154; 3.157, 169-70,195, 198; 22.58; 33.16-17).

Click those links, print the verses, take them to Sunday school, and ask the teacher to identify them, “what part of the Bible is this from”.  Change Allah to God, and you’ll have them stumped.  If that does not get you shunned or disfellowshiped,  spring them on the preacher; ask him to read them in church.

It is not necessary to read the entire Qur’an to discover its true nature nor is there any mystery about it. Allah’s commands are contained in clear verses which are the foundation of the book.  If you read Surahs Al-Anfal & At-Taubah, you will have a pretty good understanding of the bottom line.

The hierarchy of your church probably believes the standard lies, that Islam is a “great religion of peace” and an “equally valid pathway to God”.  They probably believe that Islam reveres Jesus as a Prophet, too.  Of course they don’t know that Islam denies his paternity, divinity, crucifixion, death & resurrection, depicts him as inferior to Muhammad and a genocidal warlord who will “kill the Jews” when he returns.   What if you prove it to them?  My blog post “The Defamation of Jesus Christ“, contains the evidence you need, from the Qur’an, hadith & Tafsir, to show  your church the anti-Christian core of Islam.  Will you do it?  If you won’t. who will?

President Barack Hussein Obama never tires of repeating the same al-Taqiyya; I tire of  refuting  his lies, but I will continue because I view  truth as a sacred value which must be preserved in order to preserve liberty.  As usual, I will take the worst lies out of context and refute them.  Those desiring the whole sack of feces can choose between the video:  Press Conference Video and the transcript.

“As I said in Cleveland on Wednesday, I ran for President because I believed the policies of the previous decade had left our economy weaker and our middle class struggling.  They were policies that cut taxes, especially for millionaires and billionaires, cut regulations for corporations and for special interests, and left everyone else pretty much fending for themselves.  They were policies that ultimately culminated in a financial crisis and a terrible recession that we’re still digging out of today. ”

The policies that weakened our economy  belong to the LibTards in Congress and the White House, both Democrat and Republican.  There is no free lunch and no magic wand.  Due to the intentional destruction of  our system of education, the general public lacks the knowledge of economics necessary to anticipate the stream of lies coming from hucksters & politicians.  They did not learn from the .com bubble, so they bought into the housing bubble and got stung again.

This story has three morals:

1. Get politicians & union goons out of the education system.

3. Never vote for a LibTard!!!

It is not possible to spur economic growth by wasting vast sums on boodoggles and increasing the national debt.  It is necessary to get more money into the hands of consumers and increase their confidence in the economy.  Everything Obama proposes is counterproductive.

Is there some part of the Muslim’s answer to Adams & Jefferson that you  can not comprehend?   What part of it escapes Obama’s comprehension??  When caliph Umar sent his army to Persia, the Persian general asked a  question similar to Jefferson’s and received a similar answer.  This crucial quote comes from Sahih Bukhari 4.53.386.

Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:– “Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master.”

Can you see the parallels?  Can you connect the dots?  Why can’t  Shrub & Obama???  They can but they won’t, because Shrub was not comfortable with the fact that he had two  options: to kill 1.3 billion people or break their faith so that they would no longer be Muslims obligated to wage war against us.   Obama won’t because he is one of them.  His father was Muslim; Islam passes through patriarchy. A Muslim’s children are Muslims, by Islamic law.  If Obama had a genuine conversion, he would condemn Islam because he knows its evil from the inside.

Terrorism is an intrinsic sacrament of Islam. “I will cast terror“, “so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes“, “to strike a terror“, “Allah cast terror“,  “I have been made victorious with terror“.  How do you refute the Islamic record of what Allah & Moe said and did?

In  the previous paragraph, I gave you quotes from the Qur’an & hadith.  Allah said that he would and did “cast terror”.   Moe said that he was made victorious with terror.  What part of that do you not comprehend?  I gave you links; click them and read multiple translations of the Qur’an and one translation of Sahih Bukhari.

`Who perverted Islam?  Allah said something about war. I will quote one of those statements, an  imperative commanding Muslims to wage war against Jews, Christians & Zoroastrians.  This quote is from J.M. Rodwell’s translation, linked to multiple translations.

9:29. Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given as believe not in God, or in the last day, and who forbid not that which God and His Apostle have forbidden, and who profess not the profession of the truth, until they pay tribute out of hand, and they be humbled.

What did Allah command Muslims to do?  Most of the translators  give it as fight.  What does it mean?  Moe told his companions what it meant to him, who is more expert in interpreting his revelations?

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”  [Emphasis added.]

That Islamic scripture & oral tradition are codified in Shari’ah; Islamic law.  I quote from Reliance  of the Traveller, the handbook of Shafi’ite Fiqh.

How can  anyone hear or read those words without cursing?  Obama and his party have made a career of racial & ethnic division as well as economic class warfare which is exemplified early in his press conference. (1) are penalized for committing adultery or
theft, though not for drunkenness;

Exactly why in Hell should we tolerate a war cult which curses us,  denies the sanctity of our blood and property, denies our rights; declares & prosecutes war upon us!??

What book contains a clear command to wage war upon us?  Whose book is that?  Then who the Hell is our enemy!??  “Its Islam, stupid!”  Who prays for our defeat? Who burns our flag? Who marches in the streets chanting “Death to America!”?  Who carries signs declaring “Freedom go to Hell!”??

The fact that Islam is divided into schismatic sects who hate each other’s existence does not make any of them our friends or allies. They have one thing in common: hatred of disbelievers.

There is one God, aid he ain’t Allah!  Allah is an ancient deity of  pagan Arabia, previously going under different names including Baal and Sin. Read the Qur’an and see if it reflects the God you worship.

Does the practice of religion include obedience to religious obligations?  Are you aware of the fard al-kifaya of Jihad?  It binds all free, able bodied & sane adult male Muslims until a sufficient number have reported to the front. I refer doubters & dissenters to Reliance o9.1.  Muslims can not practice Islam without waging war on us. Its what they do; what Allah purchased them for.

9:111. Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success . [Emphasis added.]

When disbelievers retaliate and invade Muslim lands, the obligation becomes  fard ayn, binding upon all Muslims. If they are overrun, that includes women and children and Muslims wheresoever dispersed over the face of the earth.

Muslims are obligated to obey Allah and  his Messenger. What did Allah command them to do?  What did Moe do for them to emulate?  In the last nine years of his life he started a war every six weeks on the average.   Get a clue.

3:118. O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitânah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand.
9:23. O you who believe! Take not for Auliyâ’ (supporters and helpers) your fathers and your brothers if they prefer disbelief to Belief. And whoever of you does so, then he is one of the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.).

There is no limit to treachery & irrationality. There is no peace between Muslims and Jews, never was and never will be.  I have a few clues for you in addition to 9:29, previously cited.

7:167. And (remember) when your Lord declared that He would certainly keep on sending against them (i.e. the Jews), till the Day of Resurrection, those who would afflict them with a humiliating torment. Verily, your Lord is Quick in Retribution (for the disobedient, wicked) and certainly He is Oft­Forgiving, Most Merciful (for the obedient and those who beg Allâh’s Forgiveness).

Who might Allah send to torment the Jews?  Any nominees?

2:191. And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And fight not with them at Al-Masjid-al-Harâm (the sanctuary at Makkah), unless they (first) fight you there. But if they attack you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

He replied: Go to Syria, for it is Allah’s chosen land, to which his best servants will be gathered but if you are unwilling, go to your Yemen, and draw water from your tanks, for Allah has on my account taken special charge of Syria and its people.

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews. [Emphasis added.]

The Roman Province of Syria was conquered by caliph Umar in 638, driving out many Jews and Christians. In 1948, the jews recovered a tiny fragment of their stolen patrimony. Muslims can’t tolerate that because land once conquered must forever remain  in Muslim hands, it belongs to Allah.  Allah promised them a two to one kill ratio and victory.  Israel’s successful self-defense proves Allah to be an impotent idol. That is the ultimate blasphemy which Muslims will never accept.  There will be peace when there are no more Muslims, not until then, no matter what suicidal concessions you force Israel to make.

This nation was founded on Judeo-Christian ideals, not Muslim ideals.  The founders declared that we are free to choose what, when & how to worship or not.  Islam declares that only Allah has the right to be worshiped and that war must be waged to secure that right.  The Qur’an contains the conquest imperatives behind the accursed abomination perpetrated nine years ago today.   This nation was also founded on the ideal of free expression.  Pastor Jones has a right to express his indignation at Islam’s demon worship & genocidal conquest.

Our very existence offends Muslims.  Nothing Pastor Jones can do will offend them more than the presence of our troops in Afghanistan.  They need no further  pretext for hating and attacking us.  We can not exacerbate their hatred by any  act or omission.

Backing down and suspending or canceling the protest as Pastor Jones has done is the worst possible error.  It gives Islam a victory, proof that terror and the threat thereof is effective.  It will  enhance terrorist recruitment and funding.

My blog posts enrage them. One of my blogs has been banned by Pakistan. What is to stop you from demanding  that my free expression of  relevant, verifiable  factual information be censored?  By God I stand on the  free speech clause of the First Amendment!!

Our national security is not endangered by  those of us who expose & condemn Islam, it is endangered by traitors like you who appease Muslims and fail to eradicate Islam from the face of the earth.

After the accursed abomination there was anxiety over follow up attacks.  During the D.C. Sniper episode, there was great anxiety and a few copy cat attacks.  Those attacks are calculated to tear our social fabric, to induce paranoia and make normal  life impossible.   Ultimately, terrorism is intended to render its victims incapable of mounting   an effective defense effort.

There is one and only one solution to this problem:  remove the Islamic fifth column from our  soil and keep them out.  Deport Muslims and ban them from entering.  If we won’t do that, we won’t have security.

The two do not belong in one sentence. Mosques are places where Muslims congregate to curse us and pray for our defeat. Seventeen times each day they remind Allah of why he wants to burn us; how  we went astray or earned his  wrath.  Mosques are their armories. Recently, fifteen Muslims died in a Mosque in Afghanistan when their bomb detonated prematurely.

Religious faith is part of our strength.  According to S.K. Malik’s Qur’anic Concept of War,  destroying faith is a necessary prerequisite to instilling terror.

“With respect to the mosque in New York, I think I’ve been pretty clear on my position here, and that is, is that this country stands for the proposition that all men and women are created equal; that they have certain inalienable rights — one of those inalienable rights is to practice their religion freely. And what that means is that if you could build a church on a site, you could build a synagogue on a site, if you could build a Hindu temple on a site, then you should be able to build a mosque on the site.”

Islamic law says that we can not build churches or maintain existing churches.  Islamic law says that we can not testify in court.  Islamic law says that the testimony of one man is equal to that of two women.

The St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church stood across the street from the towers. It was crushed when they collapsed.  The bureaucrats of the Port Authority have given them the run around for nine years, they celebrated Christmas in a tent.  But the Mosque is on the fast track.

Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.
6:32. And the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement. But far better is the house in the Hereafter for those who are Al­Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2). Will you not then understand?
6:70. And leave alone those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But remind (them) with it (the Qur’ân) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allâh, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him. Such are they who are given up to destruction because of that which they have earned. For them will be a drink of boiling water and a painful torment because they used to disbelieve.
4:74. Let those (believers) who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter fight in the Cause of Allâh, and whoso fights in the Cause of Allâh, and is killed or gets victory, We shall bestow on him a great reward. [Emphasis added.]

What? Declaring unending warfare against the rest of the human race is not offensive?  Declaring women to be half as intelligent and half as valuable as a man is not offensive? Declaring a right to enslave and rape non-Muslim women is not offensive?  Declaring a right to enslave non-Muslim   children is is not offensive?
Sanctifying terrorism & genocide is not offensive?  Co-opting Jesus Christ as a genocidal warlord is not offensive?

Have you so soon forgotten what Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan did?  How can anyone be sure that those enlisted Muslims are loyal,  not just biding their time for the maximum  return on their investment?

One of the most common arguments of the supporters of the Ground Zero mosque includes religious freedom as guaranteed by the First Amendment. Religion is seen as the framework to support building a mosque and community center near the site of the former World Trade Towers. Is this really about religion? Step back and look at the controversy. Do you feel like you are taking part in a religious exercise or a political fracas?

There is a vast confusion about what a religion is and is not. Currently the operative rule is that anything associated with Islam is a religious affair where all of the freedom of religion is applied to the action or event. Islam’s actions are religious and if you oppose it, you are an un-American bigot.

It is time to stop and take a look at what we mean by a religion. There are about as many Buddhists in America today as there are Muslims. When was the last time you remember a Buddhist demand of any kind? Do Buddhists set up councils to shape the textbooks and demand Buddhist finance? Does the government make a big announcement when Buddhists are appointed to high posts? Are there even any Buddhists in any White House appointments? Do Buddhists complain? Never, for these are political actions, and Buddhism has almost no political outreach. Buddhism in America is purely religious, not political at all.

Yet the media and the Internet are consumed by talk and argument about Islam. The discussion is never about how many rounds of prayer to do or whether a certain food is halal (religiously proper). No, the focus is always on something that non-Muslims are to do to accommodate an Islamic religious practice.

There is a practical working definition of religion as compared to politics. Religious practices are done by those who follow that religion and are motivated for achieving paradise and avoiding hell. Outsiders are not involved in those religious acts. If it is about going to heaven and avoiding hell, then it is religious. However, if the religion makes a demand on those outside of its own group, then that demand is political.

Most people think that the Koran is a religious text. Instead, 64% of the text (by word count) is about non-Muslims, who are called Kafirs. The Koran is fixated on Kafirs and makes many demands on them. Not the least is that Kafirs submit to the rule of Islamic Sharia law. Ultimately Sharia law is the pure expression of Islamic politics and it completely contradicts our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Under Sharia there is no freedom of speech, wives may be beaten and apostates murdered.

Mohammed had little success with Islam until he transformed it into a political system. He preached the religion of Islam in Mecca for 13 years and made about 150 converts. He left Mecca and moved to Medina. In Medina he turned to politics and jihad. In the last 9 years of his life, Mohammed was involved in an event of violence on the average of every 6 weeks. The political method persuaded every Arab to convert to Islam. The religion did not succeed; it was politics that made Islam powerful.

Whenever I drove into New York via the Lincoln Tunnel, I would join the other cars on the long, graceful curve leading to its entrance and, looking to my left, I could see across the Hudson River. At the tip of Manhattan, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center stood as symbols of our economic power.

On occasion, I had dined in Windows on the World, a restaurant located on the 106th and 107th floors of the North Tower and marveled at the panorama of New Jersey on one side, the outer boroughs on the other, and the dazzling view of Manhattan.

Whenever I think about September 11, 2001, I have only one emotion and that is a deep, unrelenting anger that a group of murderous, suicidal Islamists destroyed “my towers.”

They killed some 3,000 people when you factor in the attack on the Pentagon along with the passengers of the four commercial airliners used to perpetrate the destruction.

It is a wonder to me that Americans then and since exercised such restraint, such tolerance that the nation’s small population of Muslims not only did not suffer attacks, but today continue to build mosques for worship.

The effort to build one so close to Ground Zero demonstrates how obtuse and out of touch the political leadership is with mainstream Americans. The odious behavior of New York’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg is beyond comprehension. The President tipped his hand at a White House dinner held to celebrate Ramadan, backing away slightly the following day enough to deflect criticism.

Those proposing the Ground Zero mosque demonstrate the arrogance and contempt for Americans and for all “unbelievers” that lies at the core of Islam, but American leaders of varying religions have fallen over one another to excuse this exercise in triumphalism.

The Crusades from 1095 to 1291 were an effort to recapture the Judeo-Christian holy land from Muslim conquest. Having invaded Spain in 711, Muslims would rule for seven centuries until driven out of their last stronghold, Grenada, in 1492. In 1683, Muslims were decisively defeated near Vienna. How different Europe would have otherwise been.

Islam is a religion of the sword despite its widespread acceptance. Its barbarity is on display on a daily basis whether killing Christian missionaries in Afghanistan or Israeli civilians, a pregnant mother, her husband and their two children a week ago.

A sane society would have cleared away the rubble of 9/11 and rebuilt the Twin Towers, but Ground Zero, in terms of new structures nine years after the attack, remains barely begun.

Al Qaeda and all those who subscribe to its intent to destroy the West, the civilization developed in the West, and the freedoms championed by the West, remain to be defeated, while they continue to threaten India and even Europe once again.

The further we get from 9/11, the dimmer the embers of anger become for those with short memories or no grasp of history.

The irony is that 9/11 reflects the long memories of many Islamists whose religion demands that all lands formerly conquered in the name of Islam be regained and that all people who follow a faith other than Islam be reduced to dhimmi, second-class citizens ruled by Muslims.

The World Trade Center belonged to the world. They were my towers and your towers. They represented a world bound together in trade, a world that set a value on all manner of goods and commodities, a world in which jobs and wealth were being created.

The World Trade Center represented a rational world.

Today, nine years later, the dispatches from the Middle East, from Afghanistan, the Palestinian enclaves, from Pakistan, from Yemen, and from an Iran bent on acquiring nuclear weapons, are filled with news of an irrational, dysfunctional society; an Islamist rat’s nest, still seeking to destroy Israel, and still testing our borders and defenses in order to destroy America.

It is a good day to get angry once more, to resolve that we and the West shall not be defeated.

Americans, for the most part, have tried to smother their growing unease with the Muslim community among us. But it will only take a spark to ignite this barely controlled passion. Unease has grown into anger.

Isn’t it just a tad ignorant NOT to expect this kind of fear/anger from a people whom Muslims have attacked many times, and, even now, vow to destroy? I must tell you. When someone tells me they intend to kill me and my family, I sit up and I take notice, and I do everything in my power to keep that from happening and… I sure as heck will not lend them a hand in my own murder, or the murder of my family, or my extended family, the people of America.

We continue to hear of moderate Islamists. The left trots them out and we are assured they are moderates and, well, are just like Christians and Jews. Well, I have to ask: are those “moderate” Muslims who insist on building a mosque at Ground Zero in New York? Think about that for a while.

How about the throngs of Muslims dancing in the streets and shouting for joy at the death of those Americans on September 11th, 2001? Were/are they “moderates,” too? Huh?

Look, if Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, or Roman Catholics had flown those airliners into the Twin Towers and killed 3,000 Americans, I’d feel the same way about them as I do about Muslims. Heck, I am still angry with the Japanese for Pearl Harbor!

To our leftist friends who have adopted the mantra “Can’t we all just get along?” I say this: No, we cannot all just get along. Not so long as Muslims continue to insist on forcing their brand of religion on the entire world and establishing Sharia law over the entire world, and continue to maintain their silence as the so-called Islamofacists among them kill and maim America civilians, and soldiers, the world over — in the name of Islam

I don’t hold with burning books – any books – not even pornography. There is something akin to the sacred about the printed word that I revere. So, I cannot condone the burning of the Islamic holy book by the church in Florida. But, believe you me; I understand the anger behind it. I also understand the frustration Americans are feeling toward other Americans who, somehow, think that kow-towing to their local Islamic communities is the “tolerant” and “American” thing to do. By doing so, they are “submitting” just as the religion of Islam demands.

It is embarrassing to me, as an American, when a community voluntarily bows to Islam — yet takes no thought at giving the Christian community or the Jewish community the back of it’s hand. I can explain it only one way. They are acting out of FEAR.

Then, there is this story at nbcconnecticut.com. How does one explain why these folks are embarrassing themselves in such a manner? Read the story entitled: “City Council Meetings to begin with Muslim Prayers” and decide for yourselves. You will find it (HERE).

Maybe it has something to do with my being southern, but I find it far easier to relate to the Quran-burning, by the church in Florida, than I do to that City council’s solicitation of Islamic prayers at their meetings.

Allow me to add my disappointment at General Petraeus’ comments concerning the Quran-burning. His remarks confirm my worst fears about the US Military. It has become politicized. At least, the upper echelons of command seem to be nothing more than politician/soldiers. That is very, very, bad for our military.

I sincerely hope the next conservative Commander-in-Chief will purge the Pentagon from the Joint Chiefs of Staff all the way down to the colonels serving in the field.

The Chiefs of Staff should be fighting men. If that means reaching down into the colonelcy to promote fighting men to 4-star rank — then it should be — NO — it NEEDS to be done.

I would remind you, America did not win the war in Iraq. And I will predict — with no hesitation — America will not win the war in Afghanistan. We cannot win wars with politician/soldiers in command! We cannot win wars when these politician/soldiers are more interested in winning the enemy’s hearts and minds than in defeating, utterly, America’s enemies!

In my opinion, General Petraeus has clearly demonstrated why America will not win in Afghanistan. America is no longer in the “war-winning” business.

For those Americans who believe America can embrace Islam without being forced to totally submit to Islam and Sharia Law, allow me to disabuse you of that mistaken opinion. With Islam, there is no half way. When there is open warfare in the streets of America, between Muslims and Americans of other religious persuasions, remember that we warned it would happen.

No matter what you think at the moment, America is headed for a bloody confrontation with Islam here on our shores, in our streets, in our communities. It is coming as surely as day follows night. The Ground Zero Mosque is only the opening skirmish.

Remember this, too: if America is to remain free, Islam must not be allowed a single victory.

Now that our radical, socialist, President has surrendered in the War on Terror, it will be left to individual Americans to preserve America’s liberties and freedom.

Yes, I do understand what a terrible thing this is — even to contemplate. But we need to understand that with the President/Commander-in-Chief America has now, we freedom loving Americans are on our own!

May God help us in the coming fight.
