Recently outraged Internet theologians took umbrage at my refusal to join the effort to transform Jesus into a big government, liberal Democrat that supports the Occupy squatters.

Most echoed secular interpreters of Christ who claim, “Jesus shares many of the values of those in the Occupy movement.”

I contend Jesus had plenty of time to confront civil authority, yet Christ focused on religious authority. He didn’t discuss politics with the centurion or tax rates with Matthew. In fact the only system of government approved by God was that of the judges, and the Jews disliked that arrangement so much they demanded a king.

Democracy and social justice are not mentioned in the New Testament because it’s not a political science or economics text. The Word is directed at individuals and not Wall Street, corporations, the GOP, Congress or the Koch brothers.

Solutions will come, if ever, from individuals acting on their own and not collectivists like Nancy Pelosi telling us what to do. But I try to keep an open mind. Maybe I haven’t spent enough time with Occupy to form an accurate opinion.

Fortunately, my daughter saved me a trip and reported back on her encounter with those New Testament individuals working to establish the Kingdom here on earth. Last Saturday night Occupy was marching through Downtown DC to block Obama’s appearance at that den of inequity, the Alfalfa Club Dinner. My daughter’s car was stopped at an intersection blocked by Occupy marchers and in no time at all these “Christ–like” crusaders for Justice saw she was a young woman alone.

They surrounded her vehicle and began the spreading their word. Some dropped their pants to expose my daughter to the persuasive message contained in their genitals. Others sat on the hood and pounded their fists. All this took place accompanied by an inspiring soundtrack of curses, vulgarities and sexual harassment.

She wasn’t mistaken for a member of the 1 percent, gloating over the misfortunes of the poor. She drives a rice burner approaching 135,000 miles that’s decorated with dents, dings and rust spots courtesy of dad’s attempt to repair a broken window.

She was singled out because Occupy harbors an increasing collection of gutless thugs who get off on frightening women and the weak.

There were approximately five offenses worthy of arrest: genital exposure, attempted destruction of property, blocking an intersection, disorderly conduct, assault and wearing a mask to conceal identity (particularly ironic since these laws were passed by “progressives” to fight the Klan). Yet the DC cop standing and idly watching did exactly nothing and the media seldom reports this type of outrage.

I’m wracking my brain here, but I can’t find equivalent behavior on the part of the Apostles. Josephus writes of a Roman soldier starting a riot when he mooned Jews from his perch in Antonia Fortress overlooking Jerusalem, but that’s hardly part of the Gospel.

What’s amazing is how Democrats and fellow–travelers in the media demonize the TEA party and romanticize Occupy leeches. When the ugly undercurrent of the real Occupy movement finally makes headlines, the excuse is always these lawbreakers are “fringe elements” and not part of the main movement.

Really? Then why have there been almost 4,000 Occupy arrests? That’s an active fringe. You don’t find that when searching arrests at TEA party events.

But even the TEA party has a fringe, so lets compare.

TEA party fringe believes the Bilderberg Group is a real threat. Occupy fringe defecates on police cars.

TEA party fringe believes the moon landing was faked. Occupy fringe discourages a rape victim from contacting police.

TEA party fringe believes there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll. Occupy fringe smashes its way into Oakland City Hall, vandalizes children’s artwork and burns the American flag.

TEA party fringe believes the US should return to the gold standard. Occupy fringe urinates on food vendors in NYC when they stop giving free food to Occupy parasites.

Law enforcement wizards in DC may finally be noticing a trend. U.S. Park police commanders have decided, after four months of hand wringing, that it might be time to enforce the law against camping in McPherson Square.

Warnings have been issued against camping and its related activity, sleeping. According to spokesman Sgt. David Schlosser officers have been ordered to investigate tents for clues that include “sleeping bags, teddy bears and kitchen equipment.”

After reading that it’s difficult to decide which group is more pathetic. The unfortunate Park Police officers forced to search for binkies and blankets before making an arrest; or the Occupy cheering section that continues to insist this confederacy of creeps is on board with the teaching of Jesus.

We the people of the United States of America, are NOT a “junior partner” to the Republican Party.

The Republican Party may join this revolution, but it has failed to define the objectives of the American people on a consistent basis, by its abject failure to serve the interests of the people.

This Second American Revolution is not subordinate to the wiles of players behind the scenes, who imagine they can employ ropers for the New World Order, under the guise of a popular uprising, to hijack and misdirect the trajectory of this popular revolt.

Central Principles of the Tea Party

There is NO such thing as “independence” for the central molesting bank, which expropriates the purse of the American people.

A deliberate and revolutionary people, has become subordinate to debt slavery, under a fractional reserve banking system, which is systematically destroying our nation. The state of our Union is such, that a transparent fraud sits in the Oval Office with impunity, making his plans to crash our economy by unlimited spending with borrowed dollars.

Thomas Jefferson called for power of the purse to be returned to the American people over two hundred years ago. He also advised the American people that the central bank harbors the deadliest hostility toward the republic and that a single amendment to the Constitution might be established, which forbids borrowing from the central bank of the international bankers.

Jefferson’s far-sightedness in perceiving the course of events in the future, enabled him to write a road map for traversing the sea lanes for our ship of state.

That ship has now been deliberately driven onto the reef of financial insolvency by the private banking cartel, with the fictitious business name, “Federal Reserve.”

We the people hold this truth to be self evident, that as long as a private banking cartel holds the stolen wealth of the American people and imposes debt slavery over our economy; all such talk of freedom and independence, will be limited to the worn trail of pacing back and forth in the narrow confines of a golden cage, designed to restrict freedom and independence.

There is NO SUCH THING as “balancing the budget” under a fractional reserve banking system, as the system is designed to dry up the money supply, when solvency is approached.

This shell and pea swindle of international bankers is the greatest Ponzi scheme of organized corporate crime, ever foisted onto a hapless people against their will.

The American people now affirm that a legalized counterfeiting operation is in control of our government and it is systematically impoverishing the American people, by destroying the value of their money.

The alleged “bailout” of the banks is directly perceived by the American people to be nothing more than the exaction of modern-day Dane geld by robber barons, who once again ride their financial steed in sport, over the tilled fields of the American worker.

The American people now affirm that government has become a dangerous master and tyrant, as the courts and system of checks and balances no longer serve the American people, but in fact collude with vested interests to rob the people of their divine birthright of freedom.

Critics have charged that the Tea Party movement is inchoate, but that is far from accurate, as the Founding Fathers left precise directions for holding onto the republic and these mandates are the pole star of our Second American Revolution.

The original struggle which animated this nation’s founders, has not subsided with over two centuries of established nationhood. Jefferson’s mandate for delivering the American people from the chains of usury, remains unfulfilled.

This central principle of financial self determination, is the bedrock which supports the freedom and autonomy of our people to exert national primacy on the world stage and provide a beacon of inspiration and prosperity for other nations.

The central great cause of the eternal American revolution, is the idea that mankind should never have to submit to rule by oligarchy. We owe allegiance to NO crown, whether that monarchy be the ostensible figurehead, or the silent financial power behind the throne, which directs the course and destiny of nations behind the scenes.

The second great principle of this Second American Revolution, is to know the enemy and his designs. This enemy has already stated his agenda for the complete destruction of all nations, by bringing down the greatest nation on earth.

“If that mischievous financial policy which had its origin in the North American Republic [i.e., honest constitutionally authorized debt-free money] should become indurated down to a fixture, then that government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off its debts and be without a debt (to the international bankers). It will have all the money necessary to carry on its commerce. It will become prosperous beyond precedent in the history of the civilized governments of the world. The brains and wealth of all countries will go to North America. That government must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on the globe!”

The American people affirm that the American taxpayer is NOT Santa Claus to the world and cannot be compelled against his will, to support other nations by transfusing the lifeblood of this republic into desert sands of the Middle East.

In short, freedom is never free and a service charge should be instituted for nations which are liberated by the American military.

George Washington advised that this nation should always be prepared to confront insult with the power to make war on our adversaries. Such an agenda requires a commitment to the prosecution of war, honored since time immemorial, to garner the spoils of war to fuel the war machine.

In short; America must be the payee and NOT the payer. This is the most important principle for the survival of this nation, that it not be subject to “paying the Piper,” but instead be the recipient of all tribute which is now exacted from the American taxpayer by the entire planet.

The American people believe that “nation-building” begins at home and stays there.

The bulk of taxes must be collected NOT from the American people, but from those nations which manipulate their currency to the detriment of the United States of America. Therefore the system of exacting tariffs from these nations, will ensure a strong America and the return of American industry to our shores.

A bill must be sent to Saudi Arabia for the destruction of the World Trade Center and the continuing fallout engendered by that attack, to our economy. If that nation is cheeky enough to knock down our buildings– to build phallic promises to God, by the bin Laden brother’s new construction project to build the tallest skyscraper in the world– then they can certainly provide compensation to the American people, upon pain of realization that Mecca may be subject to mutually assured destruction, the next time the shrines of democracy in America are attacked.

It is time to hold America’s enemies—and their states of origin—hostage to our full military power. We are not in the business of providing a welfare program for the world, while our own people go without.

The prosecution of war has been reduced to a fuzzy math formula of loss; the telegraph of withdrawal timetables and an importation of the populations of these alien cultures into American neighborhoods, thereby turning our nation into ZOO AMERICA, a tangle of squabbling nationalities.

America has suffered a genocidal cultural assault, imposed by a Mexican occupation army in the process of annexing American territory for Mexico.

This genocide has been prosecuted through a race war, which would redefine an Anglo-Saxon nation as a third world cesspit, under an aggressive Mexican Lebensborn movement, ably assisted by treasonous American lawmakers, including the alleged “president” and his attorney general.

Americans have witnessed the Mexican invader attempt to “ rewrite” our national anthem to follow a catchy Salsa tune and impose their form of “politically correct” revisionist history, which touts the “Latino” contribution to America, by laying claim to “lost lands” forfeited during the Mexican War.

The Tea Party vision of “comprehensive immigration reform” and “rational middle ground,” is the recognition that indeed Mexican guest workers can provide a valuable contribution to American agriculture. There is an apparent need for a guest worker program, under “comprehensive” control of this nation. America must first exact formal terms of surrender from Mexico, in this Second Mexican War, before better bilateral realtions might ensue.

A long line of Mexican presidents have affirmed that the borders of their nation extend into the territory of the United States of America, so to coin a phrase of Obama: “”Let there be no ambiguity…” that our nation is under occupation by the hostile foreign power of Mexico.

Further, an illegal alien usurper sits in the Oval Office, where he is busily making sure his illegal alien relatives and foreign nationals may flout the laws of this republic, to its detriment.

The American people have repeatedly called for an end to the Mexican invasion and resulting crime wave, perpetrated against our people by bands of roving brigands and drug cartels from Mexico.

As things now stand with our inept administration in Washington D.C., “District of Criminals,” there is a tone deaf administration, hell-bent on opening the floodgates of America to endless invasion by the Third World, by euphemistically calling it “immigration.”

The Tea Party revolution recognizes that not only is America in the death lock grip of a pincer movement from the international bankers and their corporate shock troops—the guest workers– but that both hemispheres of the planet are under full assault by the Third World.

Due to the long train of abuses suffered by the American people under a corporate-controlled government, the era of host and parasite is coming to a rapid conclusion, with the real cause of our national misfortune, having made itself manifest, under the blatant, in-your-face hijack of our national desire to secure our borders from overt and covert foreign invasion.

The real manifesto of the Tea Party, is the declaration of the Second American Revolution and a formal request of the United States military that it spearhead this revolt of the American people, by rolling in to Washington, to depose the communist regime which masquerades as a legitimate government of, by and for the American people.

Can the United States military handle the truth that the real battle is now within the gates of our republic?

The American people are ever awake and vigilant and it is they who hold the power to exert the resolve of a nation to prevail over the wiles of the international bankers.

The United States of America has been dreaming nightmares of poverty, when indeed it is as rich as any Croesus. It is time for the nation to gird itself for the final battle which pits the people against the banks.

This nation has come to a crossroads in its survival, where the massive dysfunction of our government has become glaringly apparent, upon close scrutiny by the American people.

The American people call for the dissolution of the Federal Reserve, by taxing it out of existence. This mandate of revolution must be fulfilled, lest that deliberately inept “ steward”—the Fed– be allowed to destroy the nation.

It is time to remove the Ghost of Christmas Want from the wheel house of our ship of state.

This week I heard yet another black liberal caller to a conservative radio program who felt “offended” that there was so much opposition to “America’s First Black President.”  As I listened, (frustrated that I couldn’t just call and debate this guy since I was in the parking lot about to walk into my day-job) I began to think just how racist the caller’s line of thinking was!  He was defending the President based SOLEY on his race.  Irrespective of the President’s policies, plan, purpose or performance – he was deemed unassailable because he is black.  But is he?

Does the caller not realize that there is the same opposition to these policies when they’re put forth by the white Pelosi, the white Reid, the white Barney Frank, the white Dick Durbin etc?

Is Obama immune from criticism by virtue of his dark skin?  Is it impossible for a black president to suck?  Does the caller not realize that Obama is half white, and his other half is 7/8 north African Arab (think Ghaddafi not Mandella)?  Does he identify with the 1/16 of Obama’s Black African Roots when there is virtually no “slave blood” in Obama?

In their zeal to put a man of color… ANY man of color… into the White House, Black America has helped elect THIS man to the presidency.  And America is not the better for it.

Meanwhile, some black elected officials have been making some remarkable public statements.

Congressional Black Caucus member Andre Carson tells us the Tea Party wants to see blacks hanging from trees!  Not only a ridiculously false assertion, but an incendiary one intended to incite unrest and possible violence!

And then there’s that brilliant Congresswoman, Sheila Jackson Lee, who claimed that the House was “complicating” the debt ceiling talks because Obama was black.

Maxine Waters tells us that the Tea Party is racist, and that they can “go to hell”.  This coming from the Marxist that let the cat out of the back in May of 2008 when she admitted the intent to “socialize” the oil industry… and who most recently threatened banks to modify loans for people who can’t afford them or she would have the Gubmit “tax them out of existence”.

Someone should remind Ms Waters of that pesky document, the Constitution, which was designed to limit the powers of the federal government!   Article 1, Section 9 prohibits something called a “Bill of Attainder”.  In the context of the Constitution, a Bill of Attainder is meant to mean a bill that has a negative effect on a single person or group (for example, a fine, a tax, or term of imprisonment).  So singling out banks for special tax punishment would be unconstitutional!

The fact of the matter is that the race card is played because historically it worked.  Shouting “racist” ended the debate and sent the opposition scurrying for cover, despite the accusation being entirely unfounded.

But we are in a new paradigm!  We have an environment today where a black man not only theoretically CAN, but in fact HAS been elected President; where a black man like Herman Cain can serve as Chairman of a bank, and CEO of a major Pizza chain; where blacks truly have attained Dr. King’s dream of being judged on the content of their character rather than the color of their skin!  Blacks who avail themselves of educational opportunities, who apply themselves to acquiring and developing marketable skills, are able to advance themselves as well as whites who do the same.  And Americans are awakening to the agenda of the race-baiters as advancing their own interests and not that of the black community at large!  The race-card is becoming passé.  It’s an anachronism; an archaic curiosity.  It’s as relevant as a buggy whip in a Chevy dealership!

Sadly, for those who have never developed a legitimate case with which to debate their failed policies in the arena of ideas… the Race Card is the only card in their hand.  Sadly for them, it is no longer trump, it is no longer the wild-card.  Resorting to playing the race-card is no longer seen as striking from a position of strength – it is viewed as an act of desperation by one without any other resource.  And that view is accurate.

Until fairly recently in America patriotism was defined as “devotion to one’s own country and concern for its defense.” Nationalism was considered “devotion to the interests or culture of one’s nation.” Both were, in my opinion, GOOD things.

No longer.

The political left has striven tirelessly over the past generation to push America into their dream of global governance, of a one-world government, and a world without borders. Add to this leftist hallucination — socialism as the accepted form of world government and you have a perfect formula for a world continuously at war, of a world where famine wrecks havoc in backwards nations, a world where there are bloody religious conflicts, a world where financial uncertainty brings anarchy to the streets of major metropolitan areas around the globe.

Then remove the one nation that has for decades served as the guiding authority to a world seeking some kind of stability, and we have, well, we have the world we live in today.

In America, a group of citizens concerned that their government was no longer listening to them, was no longer responding to the real problems inside America and pressing Americans to accept the leftist dream of a socialist government and redistribution of the wealth of America, from Americans who earned their wealth to those who did not, said: “ENOUGH!”

That movement grew with the ferocity of an American prairie fire. It grew from the grassroots of America and it spread from coast to coast and border to border in unbelievable rapidity.

These Americans demanded that the US government constrain itself to the confines of the US Constitution. They further demanded frugality and common sense from our national legislature. And they made a promise, too. They promised the politicians of the American republic that if they did not return to the fundamentals upon which America’s very foundation had been built, they would be replaced at the earliest election.

They called themselves the Tea Party, even though they were not, in truth, a political party so much as a political movement. “TEA” in their name is an acronym. It stands for: “Taxed Enough, Already.”

They were not ashamed of their devotion to the Founding documents of America – the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution with all 27 of its amendments known as “The Bill of Rights.” And they were not afraid to express their love for their country, or their patriotism and their devotion to America’s unique culture, which was formed in a crucible containing bits of culture from most other nations of the world as well as from those ancient Americans we proudly refer to as Native Americans.

Their fervor for a government defined by the constitution blind-sided the political left in the government, in the world of academia, in the mainstream media, in the religious community of America, and in all fifty states of the USA.

The political right in America, which had adopted a “go along to get along” philosophy of governing, was caught flat-footed and sent reeling by the audacity of their tea party constituents who confronted them at every opportunity and told them, in no uncertain terms, to either shape-up, or they would be shipped-out at the next election.

The “next election” occurred in November of 2010. The Congress was turned on its head. There was the largest turnover of seats in both houses in over 60 years! It was monumental and it was historic. The politicians, both left and right, who had discounted the Tea Party movement’s power and determination, were shocked with incredulity!

They had forgotten that the citizens of America are, indeed, AMERICANS! Many of those politicians paid for their disbelief with their political careers prematurely ended.

Today, the political left is frightened witless of the Tea Party. As another likely historic election approaches, in their fear they are lashing out in all directions! They are pointing their guilty fingers at the wholly American Tea Party movement with fantastic accusations blaming the Tea Party for everything from the biblical flood to the near financial collapse of America.

The left KNOWs there is an accounting coming, in November of 2012, and THEY are on the wrong side of the of the argument over America’s future, either as a socialist nation or — as a democratic representative government that listens and responds to the voice of its people.

With each accusation from the left, the Tea Party movement grows in strength, in numbers, and in its determination to purge the US government of those who would impose a European-style socialist government and culture on Americans. The defenders of an “open borders” policy for America will be shown the door and removed from office. Those politicians who seek to continually enlarge the government, and increase its intrusion into the lives of Americans, ought to be searching the want ads for employment for they will most certainly be without jobs in November of 2012.

Between now and the election in 2012, the democrats, the political left in the press, and the limousine liberals and progressives, with their mountains of money, will attack the Tea Party directly, and indirectly with front organizations funded by huge infusions of cash from the super-rich leftist power brokers from around the globe. In fact, the counter attack by the left has already begun.

If there is any doubt, listen for the same phrase or phrases used by the democrats, the media, the academics, and the leftist entertainment moguls. Pay attention to how it is used over and over again (changing every few days) to defame the Tea Party movement. The repeated use of the same phrase in interviews, in press releases, by journalists and columnists, in TV programs, in movies, and even from the pulpit, is all the evidence you need to recognize it as a planned, coordinated attack in the left’s attempt to crush or emasculate the Tea Party.

Far from being a deterrent to good government in America, the Tea Party has brought some sanity back to Washington, DC. They deserve accolades, not accusations, and they deserve — and — need the support of Americans who desire a free and prosperous America once again.

An associate watching a home repair show informed of an episode where an owner could not get the permit to remodel unless he promised not to remove poison ivy on the property since it is classified as a “non-invasive species”.

If the Oslo tragedy will be invoked to justify how guns and those questioning immigration are a threat to social order, can’t it also be used as an example of why you shouldn’t automatically obey someone in a police uniform since they might be an impostor?

I thought European social democracies had extensive gun control regulations.

The act of violence must remain the primary focus regarding the Oslo shooting tragedy. But isn’t it creepy that a political party is running a youth camp? Are the same tolerancemongers opposed to Promisekeepers rallies and the Answers In Genesis creation science museum going to speak out against such closed recreational associations and environments?

If one wants to hold to the relativistic multiculturalism derided by the Oslo attacker, on what grounds does one then condemn this atrocity? To do so appeals to a set of universal values above culture and individual preference.

Unlike the Palestinian mobs that took to the streets in celebration of 9/11, there are no Christians dancing in glee over the Oslo shootings.

If the Oslo gunmen did not exhibit a prominent place in his worldview for Jesus other than as an outdated phenomena, on what grounds can he be categorized as a Christian Fundamentalist?

If the Oslo shooter considers himself a Knight Templar, isn’t Dan Brown actually more responsible than Sarah Palin, talk radio, or the Tea Party movement?

If Ron Paul insinuates we bring Islamists attacks on ourselves as a result of interventionist foreign policy, is he going to claim that Muslims brought the Oslo attacks upon innocent Norwegians as a result of belligerent Islamic migrations into Scandinavia?

If the Oslo terrorist killed primarily fellow Nordics, can his rampage be described as anti-Muslim? If so, when Muslims blow apart other Muslims, shouldn’t the act be considered at attack againt Christians?

Eventually, smart meters will turn off everyone’s AC in the blistering heat. Not just those of the leftist dupes that have voluntarily signed up for these programs.

If MacDonald’s intends to decrease the serving of fries and increase the serving of fruit or vegetables in Happy Meals, are they really happy meals anymore? This ought to be borderline false advertising. It is claimed this adjustment to the menu has been made in response to the demands of parents. Or is this change more out of fear of the termagant Frau Obama? If parents are really behind it, it is likely those annoying liberal ones that stuffed their faces with whatever they pleased as youngsters but demand of their own progeny a level of asceticism similar to that of a desert hermit.

According to the July 23, 2011 issue of New Scientist, future Artificial Intelligences may herd into preserves those humans not wanting to be transformed into cyborgs.

Insurance companies will be required to provide birth control materials at no cost to policy holders. If someone wants to screw, why shouldn’t the expense come out of their own pocket since doing so is a recreational luxury rather than a biological necessity.? Those wanting particular decongestants are often now having to pay for these medicines out of their own pockets. So why is a clear Eustachian tube less of a priority than a clear Fallopian tube?

Supposedly, America is to be a system of equality before the law and in terms of access to mandated benefits. So if insurers are mandated to pick up the expense for medical screenings of female parts, shouldn’t similar screenings be made for male parts as well or has our culture become so hyperfeminized that these have shrunken to such an extent as to have withered on the vine? Are men that die of prostate or testicular cancer not as dead as women that have passed away as a result of uterine or ovarian cancer?

If the Tea Party is full of Hobbits, does that make John McCain an Orcish Troll?

In the Lord of the Rings, Hobbits were portrayed as admirable characters. This species was noted for enjoying the simple pleasures of life yet was capable of summoning considerable courage when the situation called for it. In mocking them, elites such as William Kristol and John McCain are revealing the contempt they harbor for average Americans.

Chris Matthews insists it is an inappropriate outrage for anyone holder of elected office but the President to speak from behind a podium. Too bad this crazed drunk isn’t as concerned about the actual provisions and clauses of the Constitution.

Interesting how a Muslim that wanted to be excused from duty in Afghanistan as a conscientious objector had no qualms about stockpiling weapons to be used against Americans.

A Virginia family was issued a $500 fine for rescuing a woodpecker from a cat. Next time, let the cat eat the d–n bird. This is no doubt proof that the law is not about protecting animals but about destroying liberty.

If the Fish & Wildlife Service can use VA state deputies to assist in executing warrants, why can’t Arizona law enforcement ascertain the immigration status of detainees?

Michele Bachmann made her announcement to run for president this past week. The third-term Republican congresswoman from Minnesota had the full attention of Americans.

That includes not only those who watch Fox News, but liberal CNN.

Tea Party favorite

The founder of the House Tea Party Caucus, Bachmann gives Tea Partiers a courageous, intelligent, extremely attractive candidate to get behind and support. It’s fair to say she is adored by her supporters. She holds core conservative values and stands strong on social issues.

Contrary to what her liberal detractors think, her political ideology is why she will win the Republican Party’s endorsement, in my estimation. She embodies the values of America, as well as those of the party’s base.

If old-guard Republican elitists believe that they do not need the help of evangelical, biblical Christians from all denominations to win in the election, they are sadly mistaken. Social issues do indeed matter to the vast majority of the electorate. Don’t let the liberal media tell you differently. The Tea Party movement endorses the words “endowed by their Creator,” found in the Declaration of Independence. “We The People” want it all.

Non-establishment leader

It’s my opinion that Bachmann has what it takes to win over the entire anti-Washington crowd. The tireless mother of five — and foster mother of 23 — is more than capable of running an exceptional campaign.

Bachmann is resilient and able to withstand the scrutiny of the election process because she possesses genuine substance. Bachmann is honest and true. She gives clear evidence of integrity, while exhibiting a patriot’s heart.

That was evident in her “Tea Party response” to Barack Obama’s 2011 State of the Union address.

“She’s the real deal,” says Larry Jacobs, a political science professor at the University of Minnesota. Bachmann earned a perfect score from the American Conservative Union. The former Treasury Department lawyer consistently votes for small-government, stands for less taxation, and demands growing the economy in the private sector without Big Brother’s unwarranted intervention.

Bachmann can be trusted to tackle the most egregious polices of this administration, including full-scale repeal of Obamacare, one of her top priorities. The Republican Party has a winning candidate who has been the forerunner behind the scenes. She is formidable, upright, and willing to give her all while serving her country.

No question, Bachmann’s a powerful leader. I’ll gladly give her my vote. I’m convinced she’ll easily win over other conservatives who’ll gladly give their support in the voting booth.

Right on down the list

American Thinker’s Jay Kronzer recently wrote a thought-provoking piece titled “Top Ten Reasons Why Michele Bachmann Could Win the 2012 Republican Nomination.” Here’s Kronzer’s list:

“1. She is a fundraising powerhouse. She raised more money in the first quarter of this year than any other member of Congress except Speaker Boehner.

“2. She has a loyal base. She is the only true conservative in the race (except for Herman Cain) and would be the obvious choice of the Tea Partiers and grassroots. And if anybody knows how to organize, it’s the Tea Parties, as we found out in ’09 and ’10 to the Democrats’ dismay. If they get behind her, there’s no stopping that train.

“3. She has the right amount of name recognition. At 60%, she has name recognition high enough to attract significant attention in the media and enough to catch on among primary voters, but not too much so that she is not still a fresh face. Romney’s recognition might be high enough to be a detriment to his campaign, as he is seen as same-old, same-old by many primary voters.

“4. She has the second highest positive intensity score. At 22%, she excites the conservative grassroots — the Tea Party, social conservatives and evangelical Christians, fiscal conservatives and small businessmen, the military, and constitutionalists. She surpasses Romney, Pawlenty, Palin, Ron Paul, and all the other candidates except Herman Cain. While Cain has 25%, he does not have the name recognition (38%), experience (zero in the government), nor fundraising prowess to be competitive. Michele Bachmann is strong in all the areas Cain lacks.”

“5. The percentage of people who strongly disapprove of Obama is high. As of this writing, the number of people that strongly disapprove of Obama is 36%. That number has been as high as 47% in the past. Many establishment Republicans claim that Bachmann could be a lightning rod for criticism and that too many people don’t like her. This statistic shows that the number of people who strongly dislike Obama outweighs any dislike for a conservative Republican nominee like Bachmann. Let’s dispel any myths that a staunch conservative cannot beat the President, especially since he is a radical liberal.

“6. The percentage of people who strongly disapprove of Bachmann is low. Among Republicans who recognize her, Bachmann’s strongly unfavorable rate is only three percent, and her unfavorable rate is thirteen percent, lower than Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Gary Johnson, Jon Huntsman, and Mitt Romney.

“7. She is, potentially, the only woman in the race. If Palin doesn’t run as she is expected not to, the conservative women will naturally flock to Bachmann. She is charismatic and attractive. She captivates audiences and can fire up a crowd. Bachmann will attract attention and stand out amongst all the other presidential hopefuls making history as the first Republican woman to run for President.

“8. She carries little baggage. Mitt Romney has “Romneycare” and lacks trust with social conservatives. Newt Gingrich supported cap and trade in the past (as seen in a political ad with Nancy Pelosi), insulted Republicans by dissing the Paul Ryan plan, and has three messy marriages. Pawlenty also supported cap and trade and, along with supporting a tax increase as Governor of Minnesota, said that “government has to be more proactive, more aggressive” and “the era of small government is over.”[i] Do these men sound like small government conservatives to you?

“9. She has a great story. She is a businesswoman who worked her way up the ladder. She is a mom with five children who opened up her home to twenty-three foster children. She is an underdog who can beat the odds, and a real life example of the American dream.

“10. She is widely underestimated. Her opponents, in both the Republican primary and Obama himself, truly believe that there is no way she can possibly win. This is one of her greatest strengths. I seem to recall another underestimated conservative who went on to win the presidency in 1980 and is now regarded as one of the greatest presidents in American history.” (Full article)

Reason for optimism

With everything that Bachmann has going for her, there is more than enough reason to finally begin to feel positive and optimistic. America’s future will be safer in her hands. One definite plus for her is that she is a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Four more years of President Barack Obama will fundamentally change America forever. That frightful notion is no longer an option anyone can afford to dabble with. Americans have had enough experimentation with socialism. Redistribution of wealth is not the American way.

I’m ready to move forward with Minnesota’s favorite daughter and take our country back. How about you?

OK. Before you go all “union” on me – allow me to explain that I am, like most of you, I suspect, trying to get my head around the question of who the GOP is going to actually run as their candidate for the Office of President and Vice-President in 2012. Right now, I suspect, you are as confused as “yours truly.”

We conservatives are still looking for the “dark horse” candidate to appear and give us a reason to get excited about the 2012 election so we can stoke the fires that will drive our candidate across the finish line in victory and try to bring some sanity back to our federal government in Washington, DC.

Lately, the name of Congressman Allen West of Florida has been persistently popping up on blogs, in the news, and on talk shows.

Recently it was report that “It seems Florida Rep. Allen West is considering joining potential Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in a bid for president.” Congressman West is reported to have said: “Who knows what’s going to happen,” Mr. West said “If the people think that I have an ability to continue my service of my country in a different capacity, first of all we gotta talk to God, we gotta talk to my family, we gotta talk to the constituents.” (Read the entire article HERE.)

Possible candidate Donald Trump is set to speak at a Tea Party gathering in West’s state of Florida in the near future.

It seems Mr. Trump has little chance of getting the Republican nomination as the Presidential candidate and it has been reported that some GOP leaders ARE considering West as a Vice-Presidential candidate, a running mate for the candidate chosen to carry the Republican banner in the campaign for President.

That said, the Tea Party is seriously looking at BOTH men as possible Presidential candidates. Both men are conservatives and Trump has been giving voice to the Tea Party’s platform. He seems a much better fit as a Tea Party candidate than a GOP candidate. But, he has publicly stated that his candidacy as a Tea Party candidate might result in splitting the conservative vote and usher Obama back into the Oval Office for a second term. Trump does not want that and, it goes without saying, the conservative electorate does not want that, either. In fact it is their worst nightmare.

Congressman West has made it clear that he did not want his comments to be interpreted as an endorsement of Trump. In fact, he says he has no plans to endorse any candidate.

But the buzz about West as a presidential candidate is persistent and it is growing louder and more enthusiastic.

The American Thinker blog has asked the question: “The Next Black President?” In the article the thinker says: “ Newly elected Allen West’s conservative message has already made him a target of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. West’s crime?  Expressing what the left would define as a racist opinion:  That America is presently in the business of making “more victims” and will not survive if we continue to foster Obama’s “bureaucratic nanny state.”

The keynote speaker at the 2011 CPAC, Colonel West did not exploit podium time to harp on racial, social or economic ‘injustice,’ but instead spoke of tried and true conservative concepts like “effective and efficient constitutional government, peace through strength, and staying true to…American values.”

West’s speech touched upon the tragedy of American culture being “subservient to multiculturalism,” the need for America to promptly dispose of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the travesty of granting Constitutional rights to terrorists, and how the United States must always remain faithful to Israel.” (Read the entire article HERE.)

The article closes with this profound statement: “Now as 2012 approaches, new voices offer a message of genuine “hope” and positive “change.” On the horizon, the “dawn of a new America” approaches and with it comes a unique opportunity to replace America’s first black president with a man who, secondary to being a patriotic American, just happens to be black.” (SOURCE)

I, for one, will, most certainly, be scrutinizing Congressman West’s qualifications over the next weeks and months for my own edification and I suggest you do the same.

America has fallen on perilous times and we desperately need a conservative leader as President — and conservative leadership in both houses of the Congress if we have any hope of rescuing America from the clutches of the terminal illness called socialism.

Judging from what I have read, so far, about Congressman Allen West he is certainly a man worthy of consideration by conservatives as a candidate for the top office in the US government.

Conservatives and Tea party voters now know the discount rate on Boehner–led Republican promises is in the neighborhood of 62 percent. This means if Speaker Boehner promises to cut $100 billion from an Obama spending spree while running for office in November, you are going to get no more than $38 billion when he’s actually in power in April.

In return for this bait–and–switch, the conservatives are expected to continue voting Republican and Boehner will promise to respect us in the morning.

The Speaker enjoyed the support of over 80 Republican freshmen elected on a pledge to take an axe to spending and he couldn’t even eliminate funds for public broadcasting.
This is why politicians and their promises are held in such low esteem: They’ve earned it.

In an opinion piece in USA Today, Boehner characterizes failure as, “the largest spending cut in history to help begin to create a better environment for private-sector job growth.”

The Wall Street Journal establishment view of the proceedings agrees with Speaker Boehner that avoiding a government shutdown was a famous victory: “Yes, we know, $39 billion in spending cuts for 2011 is less than the $61 billion passed by the House and shrinks the overall federal budget by only a little more than 1 percent. The compromise also doesn’t repeal ObamaCare, kill the EPA’s anti–carbon rules, defund Planned Parenthood, reform the entitlement state, or part the Red Sea…

“Republicans also showed they are able to make the compromises required to govern. We realize that “governing” can often be an excuse for incumbent self-interest. But this early show of political maturity will demonstrate to independents that the freshmen and tea party Republicans they elected in November aren’t the yahoos of media lore.”

So let me see if I understand this; when those truthful House Republicans, lead by Boehner, stood in front of the Capital and unveiled the Contract with America promising to cut $100 billion dollars from Obama spending they were completely sincere because they were unfamiliar with the concept of “compromise.”

They only realized to their shock that “compromises [are] required to govern” after the election when Boehner discovered the concept squirreled away in Nancy Pelosi’s old desk among the discarded bobby pins and wrinkle cream tubes.

So conservatives really shouldn’t feel used after first being promised $100 billion in cuts, then a pro–rated $61 billion and finally given a $38 billion crumb?

Don’t insult my intelligence.

One of two alternatives is true: either GOP leadership had no idea Democrats would oppose $100 billion in cuts and were completely blindsided by this development — which calls their intellect into question — or, more likely, they knew all along there was no chance $100 billion in cuts would pass, but it was a nice round number that gullible conservatives could remember long enough to vote GOP — which calls their integrity into question.

It’s hard to tell who holds the Tea party in greater contempt: Democrats or Republicans.
And, as we’ve seen in the past, a Republican officeholder only exhibits “maturity” and “grows in office” when he sells out the people who elected him.

I’m really tired of being manipulated by politicians. How about you?

Any successful salesman will tell you the way to keep trust with a client and develop a long­–term relationship is to under promise and over deliver. This is a foreign concept in Washington, DC, where it’s over promise and seldom deliver.

But not to worry, we have another chance! The real fight to cut spending is coming up! The Final Battle will either be the vote to raise the debt ceiling or the 2012 budget or maybe both! Conservatives are supposed to believe that every retreat only brings us that much closer to ultimate victory. Yet potential budget cuts are the only place you’ll ever see a Democrat exhibit warlike tendencies — as they fight for every nickel.

It’s discouraging that Rep. Eric Cantor (R–VA) and Boehner have already unleashed the tried and true GOP tactic of pre­–emptive surrender. Both have said it would be a “fiscal disaster” if Congress does not vote to increase the debt limit, which essentially spikes their main gun before the first shot is fired. All that’s left is to negotiate the terms of surrender with Harry Reid.

It’s all very depressing. I wonder if conservatives will ever see a time when Republicans fight as hard to save money as Democrats do to spend it?

But in the meantime, I’ve got to go outside. Lucy wants me to kick the football.

Out–of–touch politicians with short memories are not confined to the Washington, D.C. Zip codes.

For example, Republicans in the Virginia General Assembly managed to destroy whatever credibility they had in the national healthcare debate when the House of Delegates forced a health insurance mandate on Virginia businesses that wasn’t even included in the egregious, bloated Obamacare.

As an added bonus, they may have started chipping away at the relationship forged with the Tea Party during the last election.

The Republican–controlled (!) House approved a bill forcing health insurance companies to cover educational expenses associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder for children between 2 and 6 years old.

Lobbyists described it as “a huge step in the right direction” and passage will mean a windfall of $35,000 a year in almost free benefits for parents with autistic children.

And all for only an additional premium of $59/year for the family! How’s that for a return on your investment? Plus, persuading the General Assembly to pass the hat avoids those awkward encounters in the break room when you ask coworkers to contribute to your family’s therapy fund. Instead the state is forcing everyone in the company to pay for autism coverage they may not want or need.

Socialized medicine — meet socialized compassion.

Of course the Jubilee Year in Virginia only arrives for the parents of autistic children who work for a company with over 50 employees.

If you made a poor career decision and went to work for Bob’s Bait & Hubcaps, then your child’s autism doesn’t deserve the attention of the Commonwealth, but is instead a private, family matter you will have to handle on your own. Fire up the oven, because it’s back to bake sales for your kids.

Does this mean I am opposed to helping autistic children? No. It means I’m opposed to politicians who vote for feel–good legislation and require someone else to foot the bill for the celebration.

If House Republicans genuinely feel the Commonwealth should address autism therapy, then belly up to the bar and pass a bill that uses general fund money to pay for the program. Don’t force the private sector to foot the bill while you take credit for helping “hundreds of families that need our assistance.”
It only counts as compassion if you’re spending your own money.

Senate Democrats were surprised the House passed a bill their big spenders had been supporting for 11 years. One commented, “After we pass this bill, I’m confident that we’ll have no more partisan attack speeches about big government. . . so let’s pass a good, stiff mandate, one that was not even included in Obamacare itself.”

This GOP–sponsored meddling in the health care market makes 58 separate policy requirements for insurance companies in Virginia and keeps a firm grasp on our ranking as the 5th most over–regulated state for insurance companies.

Del. Ben L. Cline (R-Rockbridge) — bless his heart — proposed an amendment that required insurers to offer autism coverage but allowed businesses to choose not to buy it. This would have minimized political meddling and allowed some market forces to work, but it was defeated.

Del. Kathy J. Byron (R-Lynchburg), another voice of sanity, said, “I think it’s the worst possible time to start adding more mandates.”

Taking a cue from Nancy Pelosi, the law the House passed may not be legal. Del. Jackson H. Miller (R-Manassas) points out the bill only applies to some businesses, helps a limited number of families and he doesn’t believe federal law allows the state to cap annual costs at $35,000.

The feds you see, don’t cotton to being compassionate on the cheap.

And mark my words; this is only the beginning. Lobbyists will be back claiming $35,000 a year isn’t enough, more children need to be covered and the mandate must be expanded.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t we just have an election where the number one issue was the repeal of Obamacare? Is the government–interference–in–health–care issue now past the sell–by date, so entrenched legislators can go back to socializing medicine on the installment plan?

Last November the Tea Party supported GOP candidates because Republicans were the most conservative major party option available. A few more votes like this and there is a real chance the Tea Party will decide to field its own candidates for office. This will split the Republican/conservative vote, but Tea Party members may opt to accept short-term pain as they work to build their party and elect genuine conservatives and not convenient conservatives.

In the meantime, I suggest Republicans in Richmond start checking their voice mail more often; because it’s evident they aren’t getting their messages.

… Long Wins

Billy Long survived Long is Wrong. He survived all the other bloggers that decided to fill in the gaps the local media failed to present in their news. After his decisive victory, which was no surprise to anybody, I took the Long is Wrong site down.

Of course by this time, there was rumors of an FBI investigation surrounding the Long campaign. The Friday before the election, a fraudulent e-mail found its way into news rooms in Southwest Missouri. It claimed Eckersley was quitting the race.

By the time they announced Long the winner, I had already made a connection to the Long campaign with the fraudulent e-mail. While this by no means declares Long guilty, the connections were too hard to ignore.

The ISP of the e-mail originated from Chicagoland. A fraudulent Eckersley Twitter account was established a few days before, and many bloggers were watching it closely. I noted that one of the followers of the fraudulent Twitter account owned a political consulting company in Chicagoland in the vicinity of where the ISP address came from. As candidate Eckersley announced to the local media he was working with the FEC and the Justice Department, I was following the social media trail and discovered the owner of the Chicago political consulting group had graduated from the same exclusive high school Long attended, and that he graduated about the same time as one of Long’s daughters. My final posts on Long is Wrong connected the dots back to Billy Long.

Eckersley issued a public statement during Long’s first full week in office the FBI was investigating the e-mail. Eckersley told me the FBI was interested in the social media trail that I exposed, which was immediately removed from the Internet after Eckersley held his final press conference discussing the fraudulent e-mail. Even the main Web site of the political consulting company was removed within minutes, but not before I saved all of it and presented it to the Eckersley campaign.

Since November, Long is Wrong has been inaccessible to the general public for access on the Internet. After the election, I felt it was for the better of our community that it was taken down so Congressman Long can focus on the job at hand, but as any responsible Tea Party member would do, I issued a warning to Congressman Long. “We are watching you.”

Long’s new role as a Congressman got off to a rocky start. Running to the left-wing mainstream media any time a camera or microphone was offered from the moment freshman orientation commenced, some amazing sound bites were coming from Long’s mouth and winding up in major publications. “Tea Party before Tea Party was cool.” “My pocket Constitution is rode hard and put up wet.” Yet, it was Congressman Long who was notably absent from the greatest symbol of the Tea Party’s influence in America today. Long tweeted he was meeting with a lobbyist at the same time the Constitution was being read on the floor. I knew then, my months of working to expose Long as establishment and not Tea Party had just been proven in one single act. What I didn’t know is how true that was as Long’s true colors were about to be seen by the entire Republic.

I left for Arkansas for a backpacking trip on the Ozark Highlands Trail, the Ozarks version of the Appalachian trail that is getting ready to connect with trails in Missouri leading to St. Louis. I would have no clue of the great tragedy in Tuscon until after I put out my campfire, packed up my tent, and hiked back to my car. It was Billy Long’s tweet that alerted me to the tragic shooting.

Long blocks many of his constituents  from Twitter from following him. Jim Lee and I would joke that Long has an enemies list and you can see if you are on it based on whether you are allowed to follow the Congressman on Twitter. For me, I found a way around being blocked, and his tweets come directly as an instant message to my cell phone.

I quickly turned to Fox News on my Sirius Satellite Radio to learn the details. Little did I know what Saturday’s shooting would lead to. It never crossed my mind. I was just as angry as any conservative at the tragedy as we heard politician after politician on both the left and right ready to restrict Constitutional rights after the shooting. As I have written many times, the first and best way to protect those rights is through peaceful debate, not shooting up Congressmen and politicians.

So there I was, Tuesday afternoon, taking a break from a freelance assignment. I saw the black Dodge Charger pull into the driveway  expecting it to turn around. It didn’t.

Two men got out of the car, one dressed in a blue coat and the other wearing a law enforcement uniform. Many thoughts raced in my head about why they might be there, but the words Gabrielle Giffords and Billy Long never once entered my mind. In fact, there were other things going on that simply made sense that I won’t expand on.

I opened the door.

Hello, I’m with the FBI. I would like to ask you some questions.

I still didn’t have a clue, and knowing I had rights, I didn’t immediately cooperate. In instructed them the Fourth Amendment and Fifth Amendment protects me from whatever they were here for. At this time, I still had no clue what was going on, but the name Janet Napolitano kept rushing through my head. I thought maybe a blog I had written about her was taken out of my sarcastic context. Whatever they were here for, I knew that I had done nothing wrong but simply type some words. I have never threatened a politician other than the local mayor’s trees one night during a sleep over, and even then, we didn’t do a very good job of toilet papering his trees in fear of getting caught.

The FBI agent told me they received a complaint from Congressman Billy Long’s office. At that point I responded with a jokingly “come on in” almost like I was the announcer for the Price is Right asking the next contestant to rush down the aisle to play a variety of pricing games. As the men entered my house, I alerted them I was going to film the interview, and I started my cell phone camera.

The FBI agent was accompanied by the Greene County Sheriff, Jim Arnott. I didn’t get into specifics about why the Greene County Sheriff was in my county, Christian County where we have a good Constitutional conservative sheriff. I just wanted to get the FBI out of my house and clear myself of any claim Long’s office may have made, after all, this wasn’t the first time I have had to deal with lies and intimidation from those representing Long’s political office.

The FBI agent said Long’s office said they were concerned about “confrontations”  this past summer that occurred near Billy Long’s truck, a black F-150 with Bozo the Clown on the dash. I wouldn’t have even known about Bozo had it not been for another blogger who engaged in asking Long questions earlier in the conversation having noted it on his blog.

Luckily, I had videos of the “confrontations.” I asked the agent if he would like to see the videos. He was shocked. “You’ve got videos.”

I led both the FBI and the out of his jurisdiction Sheriff back to the computer and pulled up the first video on YouTube. The FBI agent watched me and other bloggers attempt to engage in political discussion with a candidate running for office. When it was over, I went to my list of videos on YouTube to pull up another.

“I have more,” I alerted the agent.

“I think I have seen enough,” he said. He then let me know I am doing what all Americans should be doing with politicians—hold them accountable and was practicing my First Amendment Right.

Yet the interview wasn’t over. With plenty of evidence posted online, Long’s office trumped up the instances from September into something they weren’t. They were politicizing the Gabrielle Giffords shooting for their own political gain in hopes of silencing Congressman Long’s most vocal conservative critic, even though I believe the FBI agent knew this was the case after seeing the video,  he still had to complete his job.

What I discovered was even more concerning to me. I had an FBI folder complete with military records and a collection of municipal violations, some which I was found innocent of, that were being used to build a case that I might be dangerous to Congressman Long. I knew the only danger I was to Congressman Long was delivered in the form of a computer keyboard. Still, I had to go through the interview.

“Do you plan to hurt Congressman Long?”

No, of course not.

“Do you plan on hurting anyone?”

No, of course not.

It was obvious to me that Congressman Long’s office abused their power and dug up some records they felt would justify this intimidation. When I explained further details regarding the contents of the file, it was clear to the FBI agent that I never posed a threat. He ensured me this matter was closed before he left. It still doesn’t take away the fact that a sitting Republican in Congress who continues to tell the press he drools on the pages of his Constitution with passion for its freedom and liberty while claiming to be true to the Tea Party just used federal officers to investigate a blogger whose only crime was challenging him on the campaign trail. For me, that’s a scary reality in our Republic where the right to challenge politicians in protected by the First Amendment. And why was the Greene County Sheriff coming into my party? Political cronyism perhaps?

It is this reality that I state without any hesitation, January 11, 2010, was a sad day in America. Fortunately, I, like many Tea Partiers, am not going to let a sitting member of Congress intimidate us to silence. While I was hesitant at first, I eventually spoke with the press. Three days later, Glenn Beck opened his show with my story, Sean Hannity called Long’s actions “overkill,” Alex Jones said I was doing “real journalism,” and Michael Savage was comparing Billy Long to the Nazi Gestapo. Not too shabby of a list to have defend you for simply engaging in the American political process guaranteed by the First Amendment right. Political payback backfired on Congressman Billy Long.
