Why should it be portrayed as a greater tragedy when a “single mother” loses her job rather than a man with a wife that stays at home? Seems both domestic arrangements are in similar positions without income.

In calling for a single source for the unemployed to seek information on training opportunities, doesn’t that involve the federal government assuming more control over education?

Obama insists it should be illegal for students to drop out of school before they are 18. Why should this be a matter of federal interference and what will the punishment be for those leaving prior to that age?

If no country is better than any other according to multiculturalist dogma, then why should foreign students be allowed to remain here after graduation?

If women are to earn equal pay for equal work, then make them lug the same weight around the stockroom or warehouse without having to seek masculine assistance to do so.

If lightweight vests are being developed by federal researchers that can stop any bullet, will such protective garments be made available to civilians as well or do we have an obligation to be shot by law enforcement?

Interesting how it was mentioned derisively about a company that at one time only produced yachts.

If it should be impermissible for insurance companies to charge more for women’s health coverage, then why should men have to pay more for motor vehicle policies?

Obama claimed politics is not about clinging to rigid ideologies. So why is it conservatives that must always surrender their basic ideals and ideas?

Obama claimed that government ought to only do what people are unable to do for themselves. Thing of it is, given his Frau’s desire to manipulate and meddle in your dietary intake, the First Couple doesn’t think you are really capable of doing anything for yourself.

Obama wants to grant tax credits to businesses hiring veterans. Why should the military status of a business’s employees be any business of the federal government?

The best way to insure opportunities for veterans, as well as all other Americans, is for the federal government to know the least amount possible regarding the nation’s workforce.

If it doesn’t matter in the military what color or gender you are, as Obama insists, why are certain standards lowered for females seeking advancement and White males held back because of the color of their skin rather than the content of their character. If color has no bearing in the military, why are we often reminded that Colin Powell was the first Black Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as if that is suppose to immunize him against all criticism and scrutiny?

Would Bob Gates have been kept on as Secretary of Defense had he been a solid conservative Republican rather than an ardent establishmentarian compromiser?

Obama admonished the American people to look at what the nation could accomplish if the people were organized along military lines. However, the purpose of the military is to defend democracy, not practice it. In a civilian state, the average person is allowed to question the decrees and decisions of leaders elected, appointed, and bureaucratic. Such bottom up scrutiny is not allowed in the military and is punished severely.

This analyst tabulated approximately 80 rounds of applause in the 2012 State of the Union Address.

Occupying the Lunatic Fringe

Recently outraged Internet theologians took umbrage at my refusal to join the effort to transform Jesus into a big government, liberal Democrat that supports the Occupy squatters.

Most echoed secular interpreters of Christ who claim, “Jesus shares many of the values of those in the Occupy movement.”

I contend Jesus had plenty of time to confront civil authority, yet Christ focused on religious authority. He didn’t discuss politics with the centurion or tax rates with Matthew. In fact the only system of government approved by God was that of the judges, and the Jews disliked that arrangement so much they demanded a king.

Democracy and social justice are not mentioned in the New Testament because it’s not a political science or economics text. The Word is directed at individuals and not Wall Street, corporations, the GOP, Congress or the Koch brothers.

Solutions will come, if ever, from individuals acting on their own and not collectivists like Nancy Pelosi telling us what to do. But I try to keep an open mind. Maybe I haven’t spent enough time with Occupy to form an accurate opinion.

Fortunately, my daughter saved me a trip and reported back on her encounter with those New Testament individuals working to establish the Kingdom here on earth. Last Saturday night Occupy was marching through Downtown DC to block Obama’s appearance at that den of inequity, the Alfalfa Club Dinner. My daughter’s car was stopped at an intersection blocked by Occupy marchers and in no time at all these “Christ–like” crusaders for Justice saw she was a young woman alone.

They surrounded her vehicle and began the spreading their word. Some dropped their pants to expose my daughter to the persuasive message contained in their genitals. Others sat on the hood and pounded their fists. All this took place accompanied by an inspiring soundtrack of curses, vulgarities and sexual harassment.

She wasn’t mistaken for a member of the 1 percent, gloating over the misfortunes of the poor. She drives a rice burner approaching 135,000 miles that’s decorated with dents, dings and rust spots courtesy of dad’s attempt to repair a broken window.

She was singled out because Occupy harbors an increasing collection of gutless thugs who get off on frightening women and the weak.

There were approximately five offenses worthy of arrest: genital exposure, attempted destruction of property, blocking an intersection, disorderly conduct, assault and wearing a mask to conceal identity (particularly ironic since these laws were passed by “progressives” to fight the Klan). Yet the DC cop standing and idly watching did exactly nothing and the media seldom reports this type of outrage.

I’m wracking my brain here, but I can’t find equivalent behavior on the part of the Apostles. Josephus writes of a Roman soldier starting a riot when he mooned Jews from his perch in Antonia Fortress overlooking Jerusalem, but that’s hardly part of the Gospel.

What’s amazing is how Democrats and fellow–travelers in the media demonize the TEA party and romanticize Occupy leeches. When the ugly undercurrent of the real Occupy movement finally makes headlines, the excuse is always these lawbreakers are “fringe elements” and not part of the main movement.

Really? Then why have there been almost 4,000 Occupy arrests? That’s an active fringe. You don’t find that when searching arrests at TEA party events.

But even the TEA party has a fringe, so lets compare.

TEA party fringe believes the Bilderberg Group is a real threat. Occupy fringe defecates on police cars.

TEA party fringe believes the moon landing was faked. Occupy fringe discourages a rape victim from contacting police.

TEA party fringe believes there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll. Occupy fringe smashes its way into Oakland City Hall, vandalizes children’s artwork and burns the American flag.

TEA party fringe believes the US should return to the gold standard. Occupy fringe urinates on food vendors in NYC when they stop giving free food to Occupy parasites.

Law enforcement wizards in DC may finally be noticing a trend. U.S. Park police commanders have decided, after four months of hand wringing, that it might be time to enforce the law against camping in McPherson Square.

Warnings have been issued against camping and its related activity, sleeping. According to spokesman Sgt. David Schlosser officers have been ordered to investigate tents for clues that include “sleeping bags, teddy bears and kitchen equipment.”

After reading that it’s difficult to decide which group is more pathetic. The unfortunate Park Police officers forced to search for binkies and blankets before making an arrest; or the Occupy cheering section that continues to insist this confederacy of creeps is on board with the teaching of Jesus.

The story was written by Gulfport, Mississippi freelance writer Mrs. Peggy Robbins and is entitled, “Jim Limber Davis.”

This is my summary of Mrs. Robbin’s wonderful story.

On the morning of February 15, 1864, Mrs. Varina Davis, wife of Southern President Jefferson Davis, had concluded her errands and was driving her carriage down the streets of Richmond, Virginia on her way home. She heard screams from a distance and quickly went to the scene to see what was happening.

Varina saw a young black child being abused by an older man. She demanded that he stop striking the child and when this failed she shocked the man by forcibly taking the child away. She took the child to her carriage and with her to the Confederate White House.

Arriving home Mrs. Davis and maid ‘Ellen’ gave the young boy a bath, attended to his cuts and bruises and feed him. The only thing he would tell them is that his name was Jim Limber. He was happy to be rescued and was given some clothes of the Davis’ son Joe.

The Davis family were visited the following evening by a friend of Varina’s, noted Southern Diarist-Mary Boykin Chesnut, who saw Jim Limber and wrote later that she had seen the boy and that he was eager to show me his cuts and bruises. She also said, “the child is an orphan rescued yesterday from a brutal Negro Guardian.” and “there are things in life that are too sickening, and such cruelty is one of them.”

There were some children who addressed Jim as Jim Limber Davis for fun. This was fine with him because he felt he was indeed a member of the family. The Davis letters to friends are an indication of his acceptance as they were written that he was a member of their gang of children.

The Christmas of 1864, would be memorable for the Davis family and probably the best Christmas Jim Limber would ever have. A Christmas tree was set up in Saint Paul’s Church, decorated and gifts placed beneath it. On Christmas evening orphans were brought to the church and were delighted with the presents they got. Jim was happy to help decorate the tree.

Mrs. Robbin’s wrote, in her story, that Mrs. Jefferson Davis was a very good story teller who was able to make sounds of different animals in the stories about the critters. Jim was always eager to help.

The end of the War Between the States was coming and Richmond was being evacuated. Varina and the children left ahead of Jefferson Davis. The president and his staff left just hours before the occupation of Union troops.

Varina and the children were by the side of Jefferson Davis at his capture near Irwinville, Georgia and again the family was separated. Jefferson Davis was taken to Virginia to spend two years in prison.

Mrs. Davis and her children were taken to Macon, Georgia and later to Port Royal outside of Savannah. At Port Royal their Union escort, Captain Charles T. Hudson, made good at his earlier threats to take Jim Limber away.

As the Union soldiers came to forcibly take young Jim, he put up a great struggle and tried to hold onto his family as they to him. Jim and his family cried uncontrollably as the child was taken. His family would never again see him or know what happened to him. The Davis’ tried in later years to locate Jim but were unsuccessful.

The Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond, Virginia is home to a portrait of Jim Limber Davis in the Eleanor S. Brookenbrough Library. I thank Mrs. Peggy Robbin’s who wrote the Jim Limber Davis story in 1989 and the Southern Partisan Magazine for publishing her story in the second quarter Issue-Volume IX of 1989.

I have no clue as to the author. The message it contains is profound.

Many of my generation remember Castro — even before he proclaimed he was a communist by his words and deeds. By that time, the people of Cuba were enslaved. The nearest freedom lay ninety miles away — across a watery divide. The “five and ten cents” stores sold Castro hats and Castro beards to America’s children. Castro’s façade was THAT complete and THAT effective.

Many conservative commentators have been warning America for four years that unmistakable signs of communism are emanating from the leader of our nation. The warning flags went up long before he was elected. They were ignored.

Those issuing the warnings have been scoffed at, belittled, and made the butt of jokes. It matters not that those warning America to beware were, and are, men and women of experience. Their words of caution have come from a lifetime of defending America in and out of uniform.

See, we recognize the philosophy of America’s leader. Why? The answer is simple … because we have seen it all before. If fact, we saw it in our neighboring country … Cuba. We watched as Cuba embraced a charismatic savior with flowing oratory who quickly became their slave master.

“There are none so blind as those who WILL NOT SEE.” John Heywood is credited with having said this way back in 1546. It is as true today as it was then … and even before Heywood made the remark.

In 2008, America underwent a period of willful blindness during which voters elected America’s current leader. Over the past three years, the scales have been slowly falling from our eyes as we survey the damage that mistake has caused the United States of America … and the world.

Whoever the author of the piece below, he/she has also seen the many disguises communism uses to successfully attract those who do not have the benefit of experience. Like moths to a flame, they flock to the warmth of the bright light that will consume them.

To those of us with a lifetime of experience, the Obama Regime is all too familiar and utterly frightening.

Please read the article below. The author is unknown to us.

J. D. Longstreet

************************

What others see plainly, we often ignore.

*Here’s something to think about. *

*******************

I remember asking dad about Castro when I was about 9 years old. I asked, “Is Castro a good guy or bad?”

Dad said…he couldn’t tell!! This was about 1955. We were living in Louisiana …at the time. Dad was in the Army there.
Cuba was fairly close and in the news a lot. The Cubans were asking the same question!
Ike was President.
This past July, we had the pleasure of sharing a summer barbecue with a refugee from Cuba. Our dinner conversation was starkly different than most.

This refugee came to the United States as a young boy in the early 1960′s. His family was more fortunate than most, as they were able to bring a suitcase…and $100 when they fled Castro’s newly formed revolutionary paradise.
Our dinner consisted of all-American fare: hamburgers, potato salad, watermelon, and fresh ears of sweet corn. This is a menu shared with family and friends nationwide…while celebrating the birth of our beloved America …on the Fourth of July.

We began with a simple discussion about our country, and the direction it has taken since Barack Obama came to power. We shared the usual complaints about the sour economy and liberal social engineering emanating from the rulers in Washington.
But then he said it. The sentence came naturally. I assume it was unplanned. But it carried the weight of a freight train. “You know, when Castro took power, none of us knew he was a Communist.”
We sat stunned. He continued, “Yes, we all thought he was a patriot, a nationalist. Before the revolution he didn’t sound like a radical.”

The comparison at this point was easy, and I interjected, “You mean just like Barack Obama?”
He responded; “Yes, just like Barack Obama.”
He continued, “We were all shocked as the government just continued to grab more power. First they said the revolution is over, so please turn in your guns. We all complied.”
I remember my uncle saying after it started; “Castro will only nationalize some of the big industries. He will never come and take our family hardware store!!” But that is exactly what happened. Castro started with the sugar mills and the large industries, but they eventually came and knocked on the door of our family hardware store. My family had run this store for generations. They said we now own the hardware store. You work for us. And that nice, large four-bedroom home you own…it is now our property also, and … you can move yourself and five children into two rooms of the house, because others are moving in with you.”

The lesson learned from this discussion, is a lesson most Americans refuse to hear. Political leaders can lie about their agenda and once in office…they can take totally unexpected turns.
If you had asked us three years ago if we thought General Motors would be nationalized, we would have never believed it. We could never contemplate a country where the rule of law, the most fundamental building block of a just society…would be evaporating, just like it did in Castro’s Cuba in the early 1960′s.
But the news of injustice keeps increasing. Black Panthers are not charged with wrong doing by the U.S. Department of Justice…because their crimes are against whites. The bondholders of GM are stripped of their assets…without due process by the government! Governmental leaders are bribed in full daylight…only to have all investigation of the crimes stifled…by the Attorney General.

The U.S. borders are over run with crime and illegal activity, and the leaders in D.C. act as if it is important to protect the lawbreakers…. while the innocent are killed and over run. When local communities attempt to enforce the law, they are ridiculed…and threatened as racists and bigots. They are sued by the very administration…entrusted with enforcing the law.
Without the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution is a sham!! Without the rule of law, our beloved America is swiftly becoming a country where only the well connected and politically powerful will be safe. As Michelle Malkin has so eloquently explained in her recent book…a culture of corruption has replaced honest government.
The only way this problem will be fixed is by massive citizen action. All honest citizens that want to be treated equally, must come together…and demand that the favoritism, the bribes, the uneven enforcement of law…end now!!

And yes, IT CAN HAPPEN HERE!!
Rubio’s ‘sweeping’ immigration speech took swipes at both Republicans and Democrats for playing politics with an issue so crucial to Hispanics, calling for a compassionate approach for dealing with the issue of illegal immigration.”

http://conservativebyte.com/2012/01/the-marco-rubio-speech-on-immigration-that-everyone%e2%80%99s-talking-about/

In Answer to Senator Rubio

Nobody is “playing politics here,” except those who want the United States of America to fundamentally transform its institutions; law; culture and dominant racial composition.

Hispanic political darlings and “La Raza” need to “get a grip” on reality.

This message of Sen. Rubio is hardly “sweeping” in scope and I would wager to say the whale of inspiration Rubio feels, hardly makes a flutter in the oceanic consciousness of the American people, as to being any kind of national priority.

Anyone who talks of a “compassionate approach” toward our porous borders and those who breach them, is in truth, soft-in-the-head and that individual should be put out to pasture with a nose bag, by the deliberate resolve of voters in this country.

One has to ask why this issue is so “crucial” to Hispanics, especially in light of the fact that what should be the topic of conversation here, is what is crucial to those who identify themselves as Americans.

The real crux of the issue is that this nation belongs to the American people and no one special interest group, based exclusively on a racial identification.

People who identify themselves as “Latinos” first, are NOT really Americans and their opinions should be discounted as nothing more than part of a concerted effort to undermine the Anglo-Saxon foundation of this republic.

America does NOT belong to the world and it is NOT a mini- United Nations, where the people “henceforth” pledge their allegiance to the New World Order of the international bankers and their “tangle of squabbling nationalities.”

America must not play Santa Claus to the world, nor should it surrender its national self-determination to the hostile foreign power of Mexico.

As the state of our Union currently stands; an illegal alien usurper occupies the White House, to impose his tyranny over the American people. Of course he wants to remove all obstacles to his own personal power and glory and ensure his reelection, by opening the floodgates of Fortress America, to the third world incursion.

The nation cannot afford to allow Barack Hussein Obama to miscast himself in the role of Abraham Lincoln, while tolerating a Mexican occupation army, engaged in full annexation of American territory.

Resident Obama does not hold the best interests of the American people at heart, for his degenerate policies and abject failure to enforce the border, would allow alien cultures to run roughshod over the American landscape, to wreak their havoc with impunity.

The largest contingent of Hispanics is coming from Mexico, to prosecute “La Reconquista,” through a blatant race war, predicated on the so-called “anchor baby.”

Americans feel that they are under no compulsion to adopt the Mexican Lebensborn movement, by incubating Mexican hatchlings in the nest of the American Eagle, nor do they feel honor-bound to correct the mistakes of interlopers, no matter how long they have been here.

Now that the children of these Mexican nationals have grown to college age, these interlopers expect massive concessions to be extended to their offspring, when they came to this country with full knowledge and intent to fundamentally transform America into Mexico, as evidenced by the entitlement mentality they display.

Those who speak of a “comprehensive immigration reform,” are parroting a broken record, which finds no resonance with the American people. This is because those who mouth this mealy mantra have NO fundamental grasp of what is at stake for the future survival of America, under a Marxist “multicultural” paradigm.

America is under no compulsion to adopt the wretched citizens of alien cultures, who would impose their weltanschauung over the deliberate American people.

True recognition of the problem lies with exactly what is meant by a “comprehensive” approach to the attempted annexation of American territory for Mexico, by “redistricting” through sheer demographics.

The American people define “comprehensive immigration reform,” as a hollow political slogan, designed to perpetuate the Marxist “politically correct” mythology that any person in the world can just come here and start making demands, in the form of his alleged “civil rights.”

Moreover, the American people are expected to suffer the spectacle of seeing Los Angeles and other American cities occupied by armies of “guest workers” marching 500,000 strong, while raising the Mexican banner over buildings and federal installations in an overt act of war.

Further, this faux ideology decrees that America should just “snap to attention” to better serve as a safety valve for failed nations and those who come here in the name of conquest, whether it be named “jihad,” Sharia law, or “La Reconquista.”

Those who adhere to this half-baked political theory, harbor the fantastic notion that Americans–who stand up to defend the territorial integrity and racial make-up of our nation– be labeled as “cowards” in the discussion of race matters, or be dismissed as “racists,” by degenerate lawmakers and media personalities. These elites have no clue as to the real meaning of words.

While there is a certain ethnocentrism involved with maintaining cultural balance, it hardly behooves the discerning mind to capitulate to the idea that Americans should just hand over their country to those bent on cultural genocide against the unwitting host nation.

The “unhappy campers” who come here to “squat and drop,” are not content to follow the failed national paradigm and social proposition imposed over America by the bankers who weave the fiction, that our nation is a so-called “melting pot.”

These alleged “immigrants” disavow the title, except when it suits their nefarious purpose. The rest of the time, they proclaim themselves the “lawful owners” of North America, while at the same time demanding that the Anglo-Saxon presence return to Europe.

They rend the fabric of American society with acts of lawlessness and chaos, diametrically opposed to the established order and balance of Western Civilization.

The plain truth is that the border did not cross these individuals—as they maintain—but they broke into our national house and now they must leave, because they are enemy combatants who came to eclipse the Anglo-Saxon race in its own homeland.

As it turns out; the real “coward” in racial matters, is Attorney General Eric H. Holder, who has failed to enforce the laws which protect our nation from invasion.

What is behind this misconception by lawmakers, of societal obligation which comes under the rubric “compassionate conservatism?” Does it mean that this nation must turn the other side of its throat to the Mexican Deguello, during a time of war for our national survival?

The plain truth is, that our politicians do not recognize the face of The Second Mexican War and this telegraphs a dangerous message of weakness and lack of national resolve, to all adversaries of this great nation.

The real litmus test of national survival is to define a nation by its borders and not subscribe to the failed theory of a Marxist usurper that America be redefined by a “sense of fairness,” in submitting to wholesale invasion of our shores by intruders who come from every corner of the globe.

Nor does this test decree that everyone must pay his “fair share” of danegeld payment to the Federal Reserve Bank, which extorts trillions of dollars from a people enslaved to the chains of usury, at the hands of a central molesting bank.

Definitions are most important, when drafting grand plans of social engineering or defining a problem for our national perusal and consideration—not hollow political slogans, like “Built to last.”

Just what is exactly meant by the so-called “comprehensive immigration reform,” which keeps turning up like a bad penny, every time it is swatted down by the American people?

Does it really mean that America must accommodate the hostile foreign power of Mexico in its delusions of grandeur and conquest of America? Does it involve solving Mexico’s social ills, to the exclusion of the God-given right of the American people to secure their country and political process from infiltration by those who would bring this republic to its knees and eclipse our national self-determination?

These matters must come under closer scrutiny and discussion which enlightens degenerate politicians as to what exactly the American people will or will NOT tolerate– especially in light of the glaring fact that these alien cultures are inassimilable to the national body, as evidenced by the crimes they commit after gaining admission to our shores.

Our country has unwittingly served to incubate the eggs of a parasitic agenda, of the deadliest hostility to the national security interests of the United States of America.

This failure to hold politicians accountable for saying exactly what they mean and who they represent and stand for, is the great task for which the American people must be the architects of a solid structural foundation, based on reality they convey to their “leaders.”

“La Raza” is that alien entity, which seeks to subvert the American political process with “Latino civil rights.”

The glaring reality which now confronts Americans, is the open race war prosecuted against our dominant Anglo-Saxon culture by those minorities which feel entitled to eclipse the white race, by employing baby-making as a strategy of war.

“You don’t speak for me,” is the mantra and name of an organization of Hispanics, who beg to differ with the fiction in the Mexican mind—as openly expressed by a long line of Mexican presidents—that the borders of Mexico extend into the United States of America.

The position of the American people is that there will be NO sappy sentimentality, nor will there be a “compassionate” approach to the hostile overtures coming from Mexico and the ten Central and South American countries, which set the outrageous precedent of filing legal suit against the state of Arizona, for alleged “racism.”

“To survive as an independent nation, America must discriminate. America must exclude, and no longer tolerate its enemies. America must be prejudiced.”

Dr. David A. Yeagley

http://www.badeagle.com/2011/03/03/amercia-must-discriminate/

“Today in the United States, 70 million immigrants later and pouring in at 2.3 million annually–both legal and illegal–our nation shudders from San Francisco to New York and from Chicago to Miami. We rose from 200 million to nearly 300 million in three decades. What was once a benefit to our country is now a full-scale overpopulation and societal crisis.”

Frosty Wooldridge

http://www.frostywooldridge.com/articles/art_titanic_united_states_2003dec.html

Politicians will not like to hear that “true comprehensive immigration reform” means defining the word “immigration,” to mean a euphemism for war. It is offered as the “Newspeak” of Big Brother oligarchy, which employs the so-called “guest worker” as an unwitting third world corporate shock troop, designed by the corporations to subvert the autonomy of the nation-state concept.

The true definition of CIR, means holding Mexico accountable for prosecuting a race war of cultural extinction against the American people.

There can be NO toleration of a Marxist “dual citizenship” paradigm, which comes under the guise of poor, hapless Mexican peasants just wanting a better life…at the expense of the American people, who are resolved on maintaining the cultural integrity of their nation.

America—along with the rest of the globe—finds itself in the midst of worldwide depression, with nations falling like dominoes to the wiles of the international bankers.

These banking swindlers are the dream weavers who impose the “multicultural” model, in the vain hope America will be destroyed by a mish-mash of peoples.

Despite this planetary crisis, the alleged “president” of the United States—who cannot provide a paper trail, as to his identity and qualifications—is importing hundreds of thousands of Muslims, citizens of El Salvador and other nations, into what has become Zoo America and a Tower of Babel.

This transparent subversion of our economy, coming from an obvious quisling, must be met by the firm assertion of the American people that Hispanic concerns are NOT American concerns, especially in light of the fact that every facet of American life has now been infiltrated by an alien influence—which comes at the behest of the international bankers.

The White House and Department of Justice have colluded with the Mexican incursion and must be met toe-to-toe by the American people, who will wag their collective finger in the face of our usurper, Marxist “president.”

The Obama administration has foolishly imagined that it can winnow-out the state of Arizona, for “special handling,” never realizing in its supreme folly that the states are indivisible.

The entire country will back Arizona’s play against federal tyranny.

An attack on one state, is an attack on all of the American people, and will be firmly met by the outrage of the entire country.

The Department of Justice has opted to selectively enforce the law, under color of authority.

Attorney General, Eric H. Holder, was too lazy to even read SB 1070, before coming to the conclusion that Arizona was “racist.” This failure on Holder’s part, illustrates his complete incompetence as a lawmaker, as evidenced by his coming to a judgment, without first examining the facts of a legal case.

The Obama administration has comported itself as a fifth column and despot over the American people.

As things currently stand; a guest worker program for Mexico would definitely be to the benefit of both nations, but it must have certain prerequisites, before it can be enacted—among them; the formal signature of Mexico in abandoning all claims within the United States of America, as defined by the international border.

Mexico must understand that there will be NO reconquest of American territory for Mexico and that the host/parasite arrangement between our two nations has come to an end.

Any concessions made to Mexico must include the fundamental understanding that America is NOT Santa Claus, in gifting American citizenship to the world, nor is it a safety valve for failed nations.

The alleged “president” who fashions himself a “Citizen of the World,” has failed to fathom this fundamental concept. That is because he is an illegal alien.

Mexico must pay for the welfare of its own citizens while they are true “guests” in this country and the American people are in no way obligated to provide a social safety net for Mexican nationals—or perks of American citizenship, for that matter.

In short, Mexico will pick up the tab for building housing and educational centers for Mexican workers while they are in this country. Mexico will also provide social security benefits, medical care, food bank assistance for underemployed Mexican workers and all the other amenities and hallmarks of a civilized society, which they have historically failed to provide for their own people.

Such things are not the obligation of America.

Mexico is fantastically wealthy in natural resources, tourist beaches and Indian temples. That nation can well afford to pay its own way with silver, Mexican oil and agricultural products, without having to comport itself as a parasitic leech on the United States of America.

Mexico must understand that should it fail to come into alignment with the demands of the American people, the border will be sealed and the lid allowed to boil off the pot in Mexico City, for the Second Mexican Revolution.

The violence coming from the drug war spilling across the border, may actually necessitate a U.S. military occupation of Mexico.

Due to the millions upon millions of unemployed Americans; Mexican nationals will only be allowed to work in the agricultural industry and possibly the equestrian industry, where their special talents are badly needed. This must be a defining parameter of any new treaty, based on real friendship and mutual consideration, between our two countries.

All other American jobs will be off limits, as there are too many Americans wandering the streets, homeless, dirty and hungry—who can use the landscaping and other jobs currently held by Mexican nationals and other foreigners.

America abandoned slavery during the Lincoln administration, so the American people naturally want to see the Mexican people succeed and prosper, just so long as it is not at the expense of Americans and their cultural identity.

Americans must have the political self-determination as to who comes here and for how long they can stay, rather than having an unwanted Mexican occupation army forced on them, along with the responsibility of its care and feeding.

This writer read the story of two Mexican men, who walked across a fiery desert, bare-footed, in order to save their shoes for employment. Americans admire this kind of resolve and would truly prefer to be a “welcoming nation” for those who really want to improve themselves and provide for their families.

These Mexican nationals would be honored guests and treated with the utmost respect, by a generous American people. But as things now stand, our two nations are in a state of race war.

What politicians must understand, is that Americans are generous-to-a-fault, but that generosity does not extend to giving our nation away to the Mexican invasion and its attendant crime wave, which currently runs rampant over the Southwestern states of our Union.

It also means that the American people will NOT be seduced by hollow political slogans, which are sound and fury—signifying nothing, but capitulation, in this Second Mexican War.

The message here for Senator Rubio, is that the American people too, “have the courage and bravery to raise their voices” as well as the children of Mexican nationals.

Let us hope that the resolute message of the American people, is not lost on those who have thus far failed to differentiate their constituents from bold interlopers.

The New American Elite

The only constant in the life of individuals and nations is change. Since the beginning of the last century, the process or rate of change has accelerated with the invention and availability of a myriad of machines, technologies that have altered the lifestyle of Americans as well as of millions around the world.

Let me put it in personal terms. When I was born in the late 1930s, my Mother washed the family laundry by hand and hung it out to dry on sunny days or in the basement of our home if it was raining. We were not poor. We were middle class. My Father was a Certified Public Accountant and we lived in a spacious suburban home in an upscale New Jersey community. Mass produced washers and dryers would arrive after the end of World War Two.

The differences between lower economic classes, the middle class, and upper classes were well defined back then. All, however, generally held the same values regarding societal institutions such as marriage, religion, national pride. Those values have eroded since the 1960s and Charles Murray, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, whose new book, “Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960-2010” ($27.00, Crown Forum) tells you how and why.

Murray takes the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22,, 1963 as the starting point, noting, for example, that “Not only were Americans almost always married, mothers normally stayed at home to raise their children. More than 80 percent of married women with children were not working outside the home in 1963.”

“Part of these widely shared values lay in the religiosity of America in 1963” and Murray compares this to a 1963 Gallup poll in which “Only one percent of respondents said they did not have a religious preference, and half said they had attended a worship service in the previous seven days. These answers showed almost no variations across classes.”

“The racial differences in income, education, and occupations were all huge, noted Murray. “The civil rights movement was the biggest domestic issue of the early 1960s…” By 1963, “Poverty had been dropping so rapidly for so many years that Americans thought things were going well.”

The changes in values that many Americans deplore today were coming. “The first oral contraceptive pill had gone on the market in 1960 and its use was spreading widely.” Murray points out that “The leading cohorts of the baby boomers were in their teens by November 21, 1963, and, for better or worse, they were going to be who they were going to be. No one understood at the time what a big difference it could make if one age group of a population is abnormally large. Everyone was about to find out.”

“This book,” wrote Murray, “is about the evolution in American society that has taken place since November 21, 1963, leading to the formation of classes that are different in kind and in their degree of separation from anything that the nation has ever known.”

The culture that Americans shared uniquely and in contrast to much of the world, warns Murray “is unraveling” as “America is coming apart at the seams—not the seams of race or ethnicity, but of class.”

Murray defines the new upper class “as the most successful five percent of adults ages 25 and older who are working in managerial positions, in the professions (medicine, the law, engineering and architecture, the sciences, and university faculty), and in content-production jobs in the media.”

“As of 2010, about 23 percent of all employed persons aged 25 or older were in these occupations, which means that about 1,427,000 persons constituted the top 5 percent. Since 69 percent of adults in these occupations who were ages 25 and older were married in 2010, about 2.4 million adults were in new-upper-class families as heads of households or spouse.” That’s a very small slice of 330 million Americans.

They are not the “millionaires and billionaires” that President Obama is always blathering about. They are the new “establishment” that determine much about the nation’s culture, economy, and future.

To boil down Murray’s extensive research and reporting, that top 5 percent are largely isolated from the rest of the population because they tend to live where their counterparts live and interact mostly with one another in all aspects of their lives. They are the new “elite.”

“Rolling back income inequality won’t make any difference in the isolation of the new upper class from the rest of America.” They are wealthy by most standards and Murray expects them to become wealthier over time. Thus, all the talk of “fairness” and “a fair share” is meaningless.

“Fairness” as many point out, is just another word for “class warfare.” It has always been the siren call of communism.

Efforts in America and in Europe to create “fairness” in the form of our “entitlement” programs and the extensive European socialism have reached a point where they threaten to collapse our own and the economies of many European nations.

Murray says “We have been the product of the cultural capital bequeathed to us by the system the founders laid down; a system that says people must be free to live life as they see fit and to be responsible for the consequences of their actions; that it is not the government’s job to protect people from themselves; that it is not the government’s job to stage-manage how people interact with one another. Discard the system that created the cultural capital, and the qualities we have loved about Americans will go away.”

The system, of course, is free-market capitalism, deregulation, and lower marginal income tax rates, all within the context of the U.S. Constitution. It is under attack by the President of the United States and a cohort of civil service and industrial unions, along with liberal members of Congress.

It is why the Republican primaries have been, in part, a desperate effort to educate Americans to the reason America is in peril and why Americans must strive to restore the values that were shared on November 22, 1963.

36 STATES DID NOT RATIFY 17TH AMENDMENT – WHAT WILL STATES DO?

The outrage continues over the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) passed by the U.S. Senate. Those political animals have confirmed rotten, activist judges for decades destroying our lives and that includes the U.S. Supreme Court.

Dr. Richard Cordero put together an extensive collection of evidence to politically correct, Justice Sonia Sotomayor is guilty of fraud and a participant in a cover-up in concealing assets as part of a judicially run and tolerated bankruptcy fraud scheme.

GOP Senators Ignore Sotomayor’s Criminal Activities

Sotomayor lied through omission on her original sworn statements to the Senate Judiciary Committee and even though she made a correction, she continued to lie about a condo she owns in Florida. Web of deception.org uncovered the documents.

Sotomayor’s confirmation vote rescheduled

Despite all the hard proof, the Senate Judiciary still confirmed an individual who should have been indicted by a federal grand jury; the statute of limitations has probably now run out. The U.S. Senate was too cowardly to deny Sotomayor a seat on the court because of her ethnicity and back lash by special interest voting blocs.

On May 18, 2006, those poltroons once again voted like lunatics: “The Senate voted yesterday to allow illegal aliens to collect Social Security benefits based on past illegal employment — even if the job was obtained through forged or stolen documents.” Yes, illegal employment are the key words, but you can bet any senator who voted for it will get votes from millions of illegal aliens who are voting – illegally.

One can fill a book with anti-American, unconstitutional bills and treaties passed by the U.S. Senate in my lifetime. Like the U.S. House of Representatives, they continue to vote massive borrowed dollars for unconstitutional cabinets like the EPA, the Federal Department of Education, foreign aid and more – without a scintilla of legal authority to do so.

This issue is both constitutional and legal. First let me address the issue of what the Seventeenth Amendment is for those who might not know: It was a proposed constitutional amendment which would allow election of U.S. Senators by the people. Of course, this is 1,000 percent the opposite of those wise men who birthed this constitutional republic.

When the First Continental Congress was convened via a resolution of the Congress of the Confederation, one of the first issues discussed on May 29, 1787, was the balance of power for a newly created federal government:

3. Resolved, that the National Legislature ought to consist of two branches.

4. Resolved, that the member of the first branch of the National Legislature ought to be elected by the people of the several States every _____ for the term of _____; to be of the age of ____years at least and so forth.

5. Resolved, that the members of the second branch of the National Legislature ought to be elected by those of the first, out of a proper number of persons nominated by the individual Legislatures, to be of the age of ____ years at least and so forth.

James Madison wrote in The Federalist Papers #45: “The Senate will be elected absolutely and exclusively by the State legislatures.”

John Jay, co-author of The Federal Papers is quoted: “Jay then informed Governor Clinton that, unlike the Senate, where the two-thirds rule was in force for treaties and impeachment, the lower house had nothing to do with treaties; it represented the people whereas the Senate represented the states–for the Federalists always a significant distinction.”

The framers of the Constitution wisely understood the absolute necessity of ensuring we the people would have the right to vote for our representative in Congress, and at the same time because they all jealously guarded freedom and liberty, the states must also have equal representation. We the people would have the ability to remove via the ballot box, miscreants and scoundrels, while the state legislatures could recall their U.S. Senators who acted against the best interests of their state.

The Senate was supposed to be a sort of checks and balances, but that noble concept disappeared when U.S. Senators were then voted into office by special interests and mobs demanding more and more from the people’s treasury. The absolute right of the states to equal representation was wiped out when the Seventeenth Amendment was declared ratified on April 8, 1913.

The level of ignorance on this issue shocks even me. I once read a comment below a news item regarding former senate candidate, Joe Miller, [R-AK] after he came out supporting a repeal of the Seventeenth Amendment. The useful fool who submitted the comment said old Joe wouldn’t have to run for office and worry about getting beat. Miller’s opponent and alleged eventual winner, Lisa Murkowski, RINO, opened the pie hole in her face: “…was the first to criticize Miller’s comments, issuing a news release entitled “Joe Miller reaching new extremes every day.”

“We have seen Joe Miller take some extraordinary positions in this campaign, but I never imagined he would support disenfranchising himself and every other Alaskan,” Murkowski said in a statement. “Joe is no longer content with simply taking away federal support for Alaskan families, now he wants to take away their right to select our United States senators.”

Yeah, those who gave their lives and blood to create this republic reached “new extremes” when they voted to create two separate bodies for the U.S. Congress, one for the people and one for the states.

Think Murkowski wants to give up her power as a U.S. Senator? When pig’s fly. That foolish hen votes for legislation that affects my life and I can’t vote her out of office. Another dangerous female, Olympia Snowe, RINO from Maine, voted for the unconstitutional Obamacare declaring her constituents wanted it! Well, I’m not her constituent and I sure as hell don’t want it. The vile, Charles Schumer, [D-NY] would like to see the Second Amendment wiped off the books and every time he votes for a bill, I have no way to send his “progressive” backside packing.

The U.S. Senate over the years has ratified treaties killing nearly eight million good paying jobs sending them overseas. This has had a direct impact upon the states as far as growth, unemployment and so many problems, it would take fifty columns to cover. All because of an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that was not ratified by the necessary number of states at the time – 36.

I know, there are a lot of groups out there pounding the pavement begging the outlaws in the U.S. Congress to repeal that amendment. No. How many more lies are we going to support? It sickens me to think about the lies from Pearl Harbor to the Bay of Tonkin, KAL 007, the OKC bombing, 9/11, you name it. How many more lies do we cover up instead of standing up for the truth and dealing with it?

The truth is the outlaws in the U.S Congress are not going to repeal that amendment even if it were legally ratified. House members want a senate seat and senators want the White House.

I have been on this fraud for more than 15 long years. Over the course of 2011, I sent a handful of state representatives and a couple senators proof that amendment was not ratified. Really, a massive amount of documentation. I ask if they would file a lawsuit in their official capacity as state legislators to stop any senate candidate or incumbent from being on the ballot in their state; standing would not be an issue. No one has the right to run for the U.S. Senate under a law that does not exist, period.

While not the course I suggested, I thought my prayers were answered when I found out a bill was written and was to be introduced this month in the New Hampshire General Court (Legislature): H.B. 1126 – “This bill requires members of the general court to nominate candidates for United States. senator.”

However, last week I felt like I had been sucker punched when I found out from Rep. Davenport that due to a procedural error, the bill will not be introduced this session. I do thank Rep. Davenport and his colleagues for their work which will continue on this issue.

While it is devastating, it’s not the end. That bill, should it have been introduced, would have prompted the question: “Wait – we can’t do that. The Seventeenth Amendment allows direct election of U.S. senators.” That would be true, however, no one can find the vote by California making ratification one state short even if you pooh-pooh away all the errors by states during the ratification process. Bill Benson originally researched the Sixteenth Amendment non ratification nearly 30 years ago; he also did the Seventeenth at the same time. What I have done is back up his research and more. Now many state legislators have it and so do you.

Over the past decade and a half, I’ve heard the stonewalling and excuses about changes to the amendment made by states: punctuation and actual word changes not mattering. Wrong. More than a decade ago, Constitutional attorney, Larry Becraft, who has more than 35 years experience fighting in federal courts and giving the IRS some of it’s worst bloody noses, filed a lawsuit in the State of Oklahoma over the non ratification of the 16th Amendment; known as the federal income tax amendment. He writes:

The legal necessity for concurrence in legislative acts.

“Philander Knox was Secretary of State back in 1913 and was by law the public official to whom the States which allegedly ratified this amendment were to send their notices of ratification. When enough of these documents were received by Knox, he commenced a review of them and drafted a report dated February 15, 1913. Therein, Knox noted that “under the provisions of the Constitution a legislature is not authorized to alter in any way the amendment proposed by Congress, the function of the legislature consisting merely in the right to approve or disapprove the proposed amendment.” But having said this, Knox went on in the same report and noted all the various changes that the states had made to the amendment.

“This proposition that state legislatures cannot alter or change a proposed constitutional amendment is derived from an establish legal principle which requires that legislative bodies, when considering any given legislative act, must agree to the exact same wording and punctuation of that proposed law. This legislative principle was discussed in a booklet titled How Our Laws Are Made, Document Number 97-120, 97th Congress, First Session, written by Edward F. Willett, Jr., Law Revision Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives:

“Each amendment must be inserted in precisely the proper place in the bill, with the spelling and punctuation exactly the same as it was adopted by the House. Obviously, it is extremely important that the Senate receive a copy of the bill in the precise form in which it passed the House. The preparation of such a copy is the function of the enrolling clerk.

“When the bill has been agreed to in identical form by both bodies– either without amendment by the Senate, or by House concurrence in the Senate amendments, or by agreement in both houses to the conference report– a copy of the bill is enrolled for presentation to the President.

“The preparation of the enrolled bill is a painstaking and important task since it must reflect precisely the effect of all amendments, either by way of deletion, substitution, or addition, agreed to by both bodies. The enrolling clerk…. must prepare meticulously the final form of the bill, as it was agreed to by both Houses, for presentation to the President…. each (amendment) must be set out in the enrollment exactly as agreed to, and all punctuation must be in accord with the action taken.”

Of course, our lawsuit was kicked to the curb by the court and we didn’t have enough money (The Wallace Institute) to take it to a higher court. I doubt it would have succeeded because most judges are simply gutless without an ounce of integrity.

I want you to go look at this case: Sullivan vs. U.S., et al. A 2003 case which clearly demonstrates federal judges are too cowardly to stand up for the U.S. Constitution and should be thrown off the bench by Congress. While that case dealt with war and the Monroe Doctrine, read the actual words of Judge James C. Cox, beginning on page 23: “..you would find that a sufficient number of states never ratified that amendment (16th)”. And, “I think I’m correct in saying that actually the ratification never occurred.”

According to that judge, it’s okay fraud sends Americans to prison. That federal judge spontaneously brought up the Sixteenth Amendment (federal income tax) and clearly stated what Bill Benson proved in his research and went to prison for: it was not properly ratified. How many hundreds, if not thousands are rotting in federal prisons because of a law that does not exist? One too many while the American people dutifully lay bare their personal lives to the IRS in the hope they avoid an audit.

As for the Seventeenth, this needs to be considered: Can a constitutional amendment be constitutional if it amends the Constitution by a back door method?

Full text of “Constitution Jefferson’s Manual And Rules Of the House Of Representatives Of The United States Eighty Seventh Congress”

“The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose, Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.”

For those states who voted not to ratify or those who were out of session at the time and didn’t vote – the Seventeenth Amendment clearly does as they did not give their consent to be deprived equal suffrage in the Senate. I don’t think people can appreciate the battle that went on during the first Contential Congress until they read Max Ferrand’s historical work, The Records of the Federal Convention of 1787. It’s free on the Internet, but I have the three volume soft copy set (1800 pages). It is a remarkable walk through history.

The Seventeenth Amendment clearly violates Article V for the following states who did not ratify the Seventeenth Amendment: Utah (explicitly rejected amendment); Alabama; Florida; Georgia (refused to vote on it); Kentucky; Maryland; Mississippi; Rhode Island; South Carolina; Virginia.

I went to the National Archives in Washington, DC and retrieved the proof that amendment was not ratified. Dozens of states made changes to the text in one form or another. All documents can be viewed and printed here.

Long ago I focused on this letter given to me in the mid-1990s by an individual with impeccable credentials. As you can see, it is a letter from the the archivist at the Secretary of State’s office stating: “There was no debate or voting record listed in the California State Senate or Assembly Journals”. On what? The ratification of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendments.

It is alleged California voted to ratify the Seventeenth Amendment on January 28, 1913. Next, please look at this journal page I personally retrieved from the California State Archives. 1913. See item 7 regarding the constitutional amendment to elect U.S. Senators: May 20, 1913: From Committee. Without Recommendation. How could it go from committee without recommendation on May 20th if it was allegedly voted on five months earlier? It wasn’t.

Over the years, the folks at the California State Archives have been so kind and helpful in my research. This past summer I drove 100 miles to Angelo State U, the closest repository of old records and went through their microfilm. That promoted me to again contact California to request court certified copies of the journal records for 1913. Guess what? They’re all on the Internet now and what do those official records from California show for January 28, 1913?

There was no vote that day or any other for the Seventeenth Amendment. I had my web master down load everything and also put it on a CD, which I sent to the state reps and senators listed below. I did it to protect the truth, i.e., a journal page which looks authentic suddenly appears with the proper vote. I knew there was no vote back in 2000 because I went to the California State Archives (15 minutes from my home then) and asked for a search. I went back the next day and was informed by the head archivist no such vote was found.

The Seventeenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (as well as the Sixteenth) was clearly not ratified by enough states. There is also another problem. I tried to obtain an investigation from the State of Georgia, but they don’t do mail requests anymore because of budget cuts. I was going to ask Rep. Bobby Franklin to help me, but God, rest his soul, that fine man died unexpectedly on July 26, 2011, from heart disease; I was so shocked. What did I want Bobby to help me with? The State of George did not vote on that amendment. Their governor at the time commissioned an investigation: Congress did not properly adopt the amendment before it was even sent to the states. I printed out everything I could find at Angelo U of the bickering between congress critters at the time and the amendments, but I wish I had a copy of that investigation. State reps and senators can probably get a copy because they are elected officials.

The bottom line is this: We are being destroyed from within. The top issues in this country crushing us are Agenda 21, the unconstitutional “Federal” Reserve and the federal income tax. Our major job sectors gutted because of vile treaties like NAFTA pushed through by then Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich. Obamacare and endless new regulations coming out of alphabet soup agencies that are unconstitutional, killing the states and employers. The states have no representation in Congress; they are little more than doormats. The states must stand up and fight back as those representatives were going to in New Hampshire with H.R. 1126 or allow the federal machine to crush them and all of us.

That isn’t going to happen until one state takes the first step in challenging the non ratification of that amendment. It may be okay with the federal judge in the Sullivan case that people are rotting in prison for an amendment that wasn’t ratified, but it’s not okay with me and I hope not okay with you. And, please, I’m sick to death of the mealy mouthed excuses that it can’t be done or chaos would ensue or the legislatures would appoint the same flavor of corrupt individuals that keep getting elected by the mobs. I would say Apollo 13 qualified as a situation where chaos might have taken over, but it didn’t. Strong minds, professionalism and faith brought those astronauts home.

We are a different nation now than in 1913. We have the power, literally, of the people at the state level to make damn sure those appointed senators represent the rights and interests of the state which benefit all of us or we vote out the state representatives and senators who appointed them. If we truly are to be a nation of self governance, then we have to take control. Those individuals in the state houses work for us, not the other way around.

This will only happen when a few state legislatures go for the cure. Do what Rep. Joshua Davenport did – get a bill introduced THIS session. This is an emergency, so maybe there is some way it can be done in your state. Those counterfeit U.S. Senators are killing jobs, making more and more regulations hurting the rights of your citizens, not to mention our God-given rights. Yes, it IS an emergency as we slide further into the continuing nightmare.

Okay, forget New York, California and states like mine (Texas) who are out of session until Jan. 2013. It would be close to impossible to get a special session called for something so important as fraud and the right of the state to expose it. Every state has its own rules about introducing bills, but if you want something bad enough, it can get done.

Over the years I have been asked to endorse senate candidates; I have refused. I have not voted for a senate candidate since 1996. I will NOT be party to the continuing fraud. No individual has the right to run for the U.S. Senate. I know “senators” like Rand Paul are very popular and if this fraud were exposed, their state legislature can still appoint him to carry on. This is a mess (with both amendments), but by golly, it can be dealt with one step at a time. Or, do we continue to live with lies, fraud and destruction?

No more resolutions asking Congress to pretty please, repeal the Seventeenth Amendment. That will never happen and it’s not even the legal way to address this. While I would like to have seen a few state legislators challenge ballot access, too many state judges are cowards just like federal judges.

Here are the individuals I sent the material to besides the representatives in New Hampshire: Rep. Phil Hart [Idaho], Rep. Pete Nielsen {Idaho], Rep. Bryan Hughes [Texas}, Senator David Williams {Kentucky], Senator Howard Stephenson [Utah], Rep. Leo Berman [Texas], Rep. Matthew Shea {Washington State] Rep. Lois Kolkhorst [Texas] and Rep. Jim Landtroop [Texas]. While I did not send him the materials, if you live in Arizona (think the slimy, corrupt John McCain), I would contact Sen. Ron Gould. He knows all about this fraud. All are fine individuals. If we don’t try, we will surely continue down the abyss.

This is NOT a political party issue. It’s about fraud and the real intent of the framers of the U.S. Constitution. It’s about the right of the states in this Union to have representation in the U.S. Congress.

Now, how bad to we want to get rid of rotten, corrupt senators and how bad do the states want to reclaim their rightful place in Congress?

Enough to make your voice heard at your state house – now? Many state legislatures are only in session a few months and then close up shop. We can’t continue to put out a thousand brush fires coming out of the Senate. Once a bill is introduced in a state, then it’s up to the people of that state to literally storm the state house demanding passage; non violently of course. Remind them November is coming.

Here is a special page I set up to help educate legislators as well as my fellow Americans about the destruction of the Seventeenth Amendment and past efforts. We are on the cliff, folks. I do hope the good people who are promoting repeal of the Seventeenth Amendment turn their efforts towards getting a bill passed just like the one in New Hampshire, H.R. 1126, that sadly, won’t get introduced this year.

No more lies. No more covering up because it is the easy way out.

Rand Paul (R–KY) made the news Monday when he declined to get up close and personal with TSA guards at the Nashville, TN airport. Paul entered the security line; dumped his belt, glasses, wallet, shoes, cell phone and pocket change in the attractive plastic bin and walked passively through the full–body scanner.

Unfortunately while his chromosomes were enjoying this brief radiation bath, the scanner set off a “random” alarm that sent the crack TSA Grope Group into action. In Paul’s words, “TSA also wanted my dignity” and he refused their demand that he submit to a full–body latex massage.

Channeling years of innocent flyers before him, Paul showed them his leg (evidently something about this limb aroused, no pun intended, the suspicions of the Guardians of the Airways), said he was a frequent flyer and asked to be rescanned.

TSA replied no grope, no hope.

When Paul again refused, he was detained in a holding area. Laboring under the mistaken belief he still had a few rights, the senator called the office to say he would not make his scheduled speech.

This angered the TSA drone that informed Paul he should not have used his phone to call for help. There the situation remained until the TSA director appeared and allowed him to re–enter the scanner and take a later flight.

The difference here is that for the rest of us the director would not have appeared to save the day and most likely we would have been arrested for refusing the scan and trying to leave, as Mr. Don’t Touch My Junk learned.

Now Paul knows what the rest of the flying public has learned: TSA is a law unto itself and is designed to intimidate the public and insulate its employees from outside accountability.

When I buy BVDs and open the package I learn that “Inspector #38” has approved my drawers. But when I get home after a trip and discover some TSA minion has been rummaging through the unmentionables, all I have is a standardized notification with no indication of who actually did the inspection.

Consequently I’ve discovered surprises while unpacking. A TSA guard, who was too stupid to squeeze the plastic catch, cut through a luggage strap and deposited the unusable remains inside my bag. I’ve had thirsty TSA personnel open a sealed liquor bottle and sample the contents. In each instance I called the number on the form (1–800–Don’tHoldYourBreath), left a message and had the complaint ignored.

Compare this with a traffic stop. A motorist has the name and badge number of the officer and local number to call if there’s a complaint. If worse comes to worst, often you have the video from the dashboard camera to review.

TSA has none of this.

TSA employees have assumed the trappings of law enforcement without any of the training or responsibility. Consider the evolution of TSA uniforms. From the original white shirt with no badge we now have a blue uniform with a shiny gold badge, indistinguishable from that of a real police officer. Yet TSA guards lack the training of even a rural policeman.

For his part, Paul did not demand special treatment; although he got it shortly after the TSA figured out it was a member of the US Senate they were detaining. I’m sure Paul’s photo will be posted in the Nashville TSA break room with a ‘Do Not Grope’ order attached and he will have no future problems there.

The simple, obvious and wrong solution would be to exempt federal elected officials from TSA screening. If I had my way they would have to be screened twice just to show them what the rest of us put up with on a daily basis.

One of the many problems with the porcine, pervasive government we enjoy today is that elected officials who pass the laws and the bureaucrats that implement the laws don’t have to suffer the effects of the laws.

If more elected officials were forced to undergo the same red tape and petty harassments the people who pay their salaries do, there would be one of two outcomes. Less government interference with individual liberty or — what I’m afraid would happen — more exemptions for our betters, since everyone knows they aren’t a terrorist, bank robber, embezzler or fill–in–the–blank. Either way, voters would know and be able to adjust voting behavior accordingly.

You may know you’re not a terrorist either, but try telling that to the TSA when you want to take 5 ounces of shampoo on your next flight.

Yes!

It seems like a bizarre notion, but does Barack Obama want to lose the election in November?

I think he does!

One is struck by the way Obama has visibly aged in the job. He may well have grown weary being POTUS.

By any rational standard, one would say he wants a second term, but Obama has always operated in a fantasy world where mere words are supposed to translate into reality. And he has repeatedly talked about being a one-term president.

He is, after all, his own invention; the author of two memoirs of a life that had little achievement to point to other than getting elected first to the Illinois legislature and then to the Senate where he lingered a bare two years before running for president.

I raise the question because Obama seems to be deliberately irritating the very people who are supposed to be his “base”; the hard core liberals, the Hollywood crowd, youth, and unions, among others. His partisanship has put Congress into total gridlock.

When members of the Occupy movement showed up in Washington, D.C., one of them threw a smoke bomb onto the White House lawn. Others who have been camped out in a park there are likely to be tossed out if for no other reason than the place is overrun with rats and has become a public health hazard.

The decision to stop the Keystone pipeline is a deliberate offense to the unions that have contributed millions to his campaign. Why? It pleased the environmental groups like the Sierra Club and Friends of the Earth. Americans, however, understand the pipeline represented both jobs and oil, two things they deem worth having.

Then there are all the vacations Obama and his family takes. They have one thing in common. They are ostentatiously expensive. Obama or Michelle always seem to be going on vacation or returning from one. The characterization may be unfair, but perception is everything.

Americans are very keen on their military and, of all the government programs Obama could have chosen to trim, he’s had the knives out for the Pentagon since he took office. While a war-weary public was likely pleased when he withdrew troops from Iraq (neither Bush, nor Obama had a choice as the Iraqis made it clear they wanted U.S. troops out), the fact remains that the main news out of Iraq these days are bombings as the Sunni versus Shiite conflict has returned. Afghanistan remains a millstone.

Even in the face of a clear threat, it is unlikely that Obama would respond militarily between now and Election Day. The most likely scenario, however, would be an Israeli decision to strike at Iran before it becomes a full-fledged nuclear threat. It must be said, however, that Obama and other NATO nations have positioned some military assets in the Persian Gulf, but would he pull the trigger? It’s doubtful.

The most obvious problem Obama faces is unemployment. It’s variously set at anywhere from 11% to 20% depending on the part of the nation you’re discussing. It still is far too high everywhere and he gives every impression of being, if not indifferent to it, at least in no hurry to address it. Most certainly none of his programs have reduced it. His alleged “stimulus” was little more than a political slush fund that added billions to the national debt and failed.

Every President is subject to “events” and the likely default of Greece and financial troubles of several European nations are likely to impact the national election as Americans try to sort out what effect it will have here. Obama has already presided over the first downgrade of America’s debt rating and we shall surely be reminded of that in the months ahead.

The other event will be the Supreme Court hearing of the case against Obamacare in March. They may not issue a decision right away or they might issue one just before November 6th.

There are two lines of thought about the forthcoming national election. Past Presidents were relieved to leave office despite its power and prestige. (1) Obama may not like being President and (2) he has concluded that he will be defeated. He gives the impression of not caring about public opinion anymore.

The only people publicly defending him seem to have Attention Deficit Disorder. Either they haven’t paid attention to what a disaster his term has been thus far or they just don’t think it’s his fault.

I think he will go through the motions, but I also think a majority of voters no longer believe a word he says anymore.

Lee, Commander-in-Chief, United Confederate Veterans, said of John B. Gordon:

‘He was a devout and humble Christian Gentlemen. I know of no man more beloved in the South, and he was probably the most popular Southern man among the people of the North.’ —–

February is Black History Month. It is also the birthday month of George Washington, our first president. And it is the birthday month of John Brown Gordon of Georgia.

John B. Gordon, born February 6, 1832, was an orator, lawyer, statesman, soldier, publisher and governor of the state of Georgia. He is best known as one of General Robert E. Lee’s generals. At Appomattox, his corps’ encounter with the Union soldiers under Joshua Chamberlain is a classic story that began the healing of America.

Carter G. Woodson, father of Black History Week, has much in common with Gordon. Both believed that accurate American history should be taught in our schools.Woodson believed the study of Black history should include those African-Americans who fought on both sides of the War Between the States.

Black History Week became Black History Month in the 1960s.

Woodson, eleven years after the first Black History Week, founded the Negro History Bulletin for teachers, students and the public.

Gordon also stressed the need to tell the true story of those who fought for the Confederacy.

John B. Gordon believed in the South’s Constitutional right to secession, but after the war, he worked to unite the nation and helped white and black Southerners the war made poor.

The 1st Annual General John B. Gordon birthday celebration in Atlanta, Georgia was held on Saturday, February 6, 1993, in front of the state capitol. An estimated one thousand people came to remember Gordon on a beautiful warm day.

When the band played ‘Dixie,’ the people stood up straight and proudly sang the words.

Many speakers praised Gordon. One man turned to the statue of Gordon and asked “General Gordon what do you say about those who would change American History?” Gordon, the Confederate, the Southerner might have answered firmly, “Take your history and teach it or others will teach their history!” He set up a publishing company after the war to help teach young folks Southern history.

In 1995, the weather was cold and snowy but hundreds still came out. That year a young African-American man joined the list of speakers. Eddie Page was a true friend and defender of the heritage of America and the South.

John B. Gordon was born in Upson County, Georgia. He was the fourth of twelve children of Zachariah and Malinda Cox Gordon. Young John was an excellent student at the University of Georgia.

He left the university before graduating and came to Atlanta to study law. There he met and married Rebecca Haralson and their union was long and happy.

September 17, 1862, is known was the bloodiest day in American history. Confederate General Gordon was there, defending a position called the sunken road. Wave upon wave of Union troops attacked Gordon’s men. The casualties were beyond today’s understanding. Gordon was struck by Yankee bullets four times, but continued to lead his men. Then, a fifth bullet tore through his right jaw and out of his left cheek. He fell with his face in his hat and would have drowned in his own blood except for a hole in his hat. Though Gordon survived these wounds, the last one left him permanently scarred. That is why in later photographs of him you see him only from the right side.

For years the John B. Gordon celebration, in Atlanta, Georgia, was concluded by a mile long march down Martin Luther King Drive to historic Oakland Cemetery where the general is buried. Not since past Confederate Memorial days has there been a scene on this street of soldiers in Confederate gray and women and children of black mourning dress.

The spirits of Carter Woodson and John Gordon were there with us on those February days when Confederate gray marched through the black neighborhood. Though 130 years separated today from yesterday there was a spirit that transcended time and color.

When John B. Gordon died in 1904, President Theodore Roosevelt said of him, ‘A more gallant, generous, and fearless gentlemen and soldier has not been seen in this country.’

Woodson and Gordon are still with us—in spirit and, if you listen, they are saying: ‘Teach your children the whole story of America.’

The War Between the States Sesquicentennial, 150th Anniversary, runs 2011 through 2015. The Georgia Division Sons of Confederate Veterans joins the nation in remembering this historic time in our nation’s history.
