Isn’t it about time that the mainstream media and all others begin to examine the record and conclude that a Communist holds the reins of power in the White House?

Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, it is often believed that Communism died with it. Not so, Communism is alive and well in China, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela.

From the days of Harry Truman who discovered that Franklin Roosevelt had given the Soviets Eastern Europe at the WWII Yalta Conference, American presidents have steadfastly done what they believed was required to keep Communism “contained.”; some more successfully than others.

The Communist Manifesto is well worth reading. Among its planks is the abolition of private property and a government that owns or controls much of the U.S. landmass is antithetical to this keystone of capitalism.

The Manifesto calls for “a heavy progressive or graduated income tax.” It calls for the centralization of credit in the hands of the state. We have a “Federal Reserve” that is a national bank.

It calls for “centralization of the means of communications and transportation.” We have a Federal Communications Commission. There’s more and you can read about it here.

America has never had a Communist President until now.

While others have written how obvious it is that Obama is a “Socialist”, I think this is a matter of caution in a society that has not seriously used the word “Communist” since the 1950s when entities like the House Un-American Activities Committee actively investigated and exposed how many existed in the government, the unions, and Hollywood.

It’s not like Barack Hussein Obama has come out and said, “Yes, I’m a Communist”, but you don’t have to have a PhD in Political Science to connect the dots. The process is made murky by the way Obama has deliberately covered his tracks wherever he could, while dropping broad hints.

Obama is the classic “red diaper” baby, the result of a union between his mother, Stanley Dunham and Barack Obama Sr., memorialized in “Dreams of My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.” However, Jerome Corsi, the author of “Obama Nation” notes that “we are told by Obama outright…that much of the autobiography is not factually true, at least not as written.” Indeed, much of what Obama has had to write or say of his life is fiction of one sort or another.

His father abandoned his mother, returning to Africa “to live the life of a chronic alcoholic.” He was also “a man of the left.” Obama’s mother remarried and took him off to Indonesia, but other than developing a fondness of Islam, not much is known of that period. A second divorce put Obama in the care of his grandparents in Hawaii and it was there where his most formative development occurred.

In his excellent book, “Dupes”, historian Dr. Paul Kengor traces the role of the former Soviet Union and the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) as it developed both spies and “fellow travelers” devoted to turning the U.S. toward Communism.

Towards its end the book traces the most important influences in the life of President Obama. The conclusion that he is a Communist is unavoidable.

Obama’s grandparents were devoted to socialism, raising their daughter in schools known for it, even attending a church that reflected it. They were close friends with Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the CPUSA and an Afro-American. Dr. Kengor noted that, during the 1970s, the period of Obama’s adolescence, “His impact is profound because he mentored a young man who made it all the way to the White House.”

Among the hints Obama drops in “Dreams of My Father” was a reference to his college years “hanging out with Marxist professors”, attending “socialist conferences”, and discussing “neocolonialism.” Dr. Kengor quotes Dr. John Drew, a contemporary of Obama at Occidental College for whom Obama was “as a fellow Marxist” and said of the President, “Obama was already an ardent Marxist when I met (him) in the fall of 1980.”

After graduating from Columbia University, long a hotbed of a Leftist faculty and students indoctrinated with a liberal political philosophy, and later Harvard Law School, Obama moved to Chicago where he became close friends with former far-Left Weatherman terrorists of the 1960s, Bill Ayers and his wife Benardine Dohrn. His first venture into politics took place in a fund-raiser in their home. Obama attended a Black Liberation church in Chicago led by Rev. Jeremiah Wright who rarely had a good word for America. Ayers calls himself “a communist with a small ‘c’.”

Among those chosen to be in his administration was Van Jones, “an avowed communist” named as Obama’s “green jobs czar.” When exposed, he resigned. Another figure of the far Left was Jeff Jones whose consulting firm, the Apollo Alliance, “helped write President Obama’s budget-bursting $800 billion ‘stimulus’ bill passed by Congress shortly into the Obama presidency.”

For those still in denial, consider an article by Stanislav Mishin that appeared in Pravda, the Russian newspaper that was formerly one of the main organs of the Soviet Union. “It must be said that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breathtaking speed, against the backdrop of a passive, hapless sheep”, much of which he attributed to “the election of Barack Obama.”

That was written before the spontaneous explosion of the quintessentially American Tea Party movement. Since then we have seen the dramatic reversal of power in Congress that occurred as the result of the November 2010 elections.

The harm and damage done by our first Communist President will take years to repair, but Americans have wakened to

• the socialist menace of the nation’s public sector unions,
• the centralization of education in the federal government,
• the threat of the Environmental Protection Agency’s assertion of control over America’s energy sector,
• the refusal of the Interior Department to grant drilling permits,
• the devaluation of the U.S. dollar by the Federal Reserve,
• and the incremental efforts of an anti-American government to undermine defense, national security, our economy, and our worldwide reputation as a defender of freedom.

Winston Churchill, the former British Prime Minister who led that nation through World War II and coined the term “Iron Curtain”, said of Communism, “it is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”

Just a few days ago we wrote an article in which we proclaimed that America does not need oil from sources found anywhere but here on our own property. The article was dismissed by most, but those who seriously consider the possibility that our very own government, under the direction of our current president, Barry Soetoro – aka — Barack Obama, is intentionally forcing American citizens, against our will, to “make do with less,” in order to pre-condition Americans for the socialist government to come, DID take it seriously and some have spoken out – and — in so doing have given even more credence to our suggestion that we DO have all the oil we need right here on our own shores or beneath that portion of the oceans owned by the citizens of the US under international law.

Those writers, too, have drawn even more attention to the machinations of the Obama Regime’s intensive planning for a socialist take over of the US government.

I know it sounds like a screenplay for a fictional dramatic motion picture. Problem is … it is true!

Here is a quote from the article: “Look. America is awash in oil. We’ve got more oil than the Arabs! But – our government won’t let us get to it — and use it — and flip the bird to the Middle Eastern Oil Princes.” We continue: “So what the deuce is going on? I mean, why the heck are we Americans sitting on our hands and not DEMANDING that our government “cut the cr*p” and allow the oil companies to dig, and drill, for all this oil? WHY is the US continuing to ship our treasure and our blood to the Middle East — and to our unfriendly southern neighbors — for oil?

We are on the cusp of back-to-back recessions with the second dip looming today. The cost to Americans for oil is threatening to push us over that brink and into a recession that will, most likely, become a depression even worse than the one our parents and grandparents experienced in the 1930’s.”

I ask the same question today that I did then: “Why are we allowing a small group of people to dictate our lives and our economy, indeed, our future as a viable nation?It is past time to fight back, America. Demand that the US Congress defund the Environmental Protection Agency right off the bat. Get rid of it.” (I would add the Department of Energy to “get rid of” list.)

In the previous article we pointed out the following: “Just as important is the necessity to elect a President with the cajones to override the environmentalist and open up America to drilling and digging for our own vast reserves of oil sloshing beneath our feet and just offshore and under the tundra.” You can find the entire article HERE.

Now comes Ron Arnold with an article entitled: “Obama’s ‘starve America first’ energy policy creates a backlash”

Mr. Arnold says: “With shaky foreign energy supplies threatening to deepen the worst recession since World War II, why doesn’t America protect its capacity to do work by drilling for more oil and gas here at home? Simple truth from Politics 101: Big Green’s extreme anti-energy ideology permeates the Obama administration.” He goes on to say: “Dan Kish, senior vice president for policy at the D.C.-based Institute for Energy Research, told me, ‘The Obama administration is deliberately embargoing our own domestic energy from us, from Americans. He and his agency heads all believe in the politics of scarcity — force society to live with less. The most anti-energy interior secretary in history is Obama’s Ken Salazar — who is also presently in contempt of court for withholding deepwater Gulf of Mexico oil drilling permits.”

So what about our claim that America has more domestic oil than Saudi Arabia? In his article Mr. Arnold says: “Never mind that the Congressional Research Service has released a study, U.S. Fossil Fuel Resources, that shows America’s combined recoverable natural gas, oil, and coal endowment is the largest on Earth, far larger than that of Saudi Arabia (3rd), China (4th), and Canada (6th) combined.

None of that matters to the Obama administration, which has blocked dozens of energy developments on federal lands and now forbids recovery of 83 percent of our oil resources.”

You DO see the pattern here – don’t you? As wild and outrageous as it sounds, we have to believe the Obama Regime is deliberately forcing the price of oil products, including the price of gasoline, up to realize his socialist dream of having all Americans learn to live with less and precondition the entire country to accept socialism with open arms.

America – there is no reason we have to import a single drop of oil. There is no reason we have to pay $4.00 a gallon for gasoline. We are floating on a sea of oil – far more oil than those who are gouging the living daylights out of us now.

We must show Mr. Obama the door in November of 2012 and we need, immediately, to beginning sinking wells and sucking that energy from the ground, the sea, and the rocks. The “Big Green cultists” can go off somewhere and sulk in their SUV’s and McMansions. Most sentient human beings have learned that THEIR environmentalist religion is based on a lie and we want no more of it.

America needs energy. And that energy comes from oil. Now we know we have enough oil for a couple of thousand years right here, on our own shores! We have to vote Obama out if we want to get a single drop of that oil. Hey, that’s an easy choice.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. Those of my age—I am in my seventies—have a strong recall of the Cold War, fought from the end of World War Two in 1945 until the fall of the infamous Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989 and the subsequent collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. We grew up knowing that the Communists—Marxists—were the enemy.

All throughout that period, American liberals—Leftists—did what they could to ridicule efforts to rid the government of Communists, attacked those like Sen. Joseph McCarthy who spoke out against them, defended the likes of Fidel Castro who turned Cuba into a prison-state, and worked to “improve” U.S.-Soviet relations.

A book I wish everyone would read, liberals and conservatives alike, “Dupes” by Paul Kengor, went into a second printing in January of this year (ISI Books, Intercollegiate Studies Institute, Wilmington, DE). Kengor, a PhD, is a professor of political science at Grove City College. His book runs just over 600 pages, all thoroughly documented, and tells the history of the effort to impose communism on America and worldwide, dating back to the Bolshevik revolution in 1917.

One of the characters in the book is Whittaker Chambers, a former Soviet spy who came to realize how evil Communism was and who revealed how the administrations of Roosevelt and Truman were shot through with spies and those cooperating with the Soviet Union, the most famous of whom was Alger Hiss, a high-ranking State Department official. Richard M. Nixon first came to public notice as a Senator from California who ran on an anti-Communist platform.

“While Communists make full use of liberals and their solicitudes, and sometimes flatter them to their faces, in private,” wrote Chambers, “they treat them with that sneering contempt that the strong and predatory almost invariably feel for victims who volunteer to help in their own victimization.”

Socialism has had a long, hard time establishing itself in America and has mostly been the gift of the Democratic Party that held control of Congress for forty years until that grip was broken in 1995. Despite that, Bill Clinton was reelected and, halfway through George W. Bush’s second term, congressional power returned to the Democrats.

Then, in 2008, a virtually unknown Senator who had not even served a full term, who had no paper trail of documentation regarding his life, who had written two memoirs that hinted at his far Left upbringing and associations, was elected President. Putting it bluntly, Americans were duped.

As Kengor points out, Americans “in poll after poll, year after year, have described themselves as ‘conservative’ over ‘liberal’ by a margin of roughly two to one, by approximately 40 percent to 20 percent.”

The political environment of America is conservative, but it has been the growing number of independent voters that have determined election outcomes. That says something about the disappointment that both political parties have created with their emphasis on enlarging the federal government, excessive spending, questionable wars, and general indifference to the voters.

The independents also reflect the sudden emergence of the Tea Party movement that occurred to protest Obamacare. They and others have swung back toward conservative candidates electing Republican governors in New Jersey and Virginia, a Republican Senator from Massachusetts, and sent Allen West and Marco Rubio to Congress from Florida, along with a host of candidates supported by the Tea Parties.

Independents along with conservatives in America have been demonstrating a level of political resistance to senseless spending and the rough-shod imposition of leftist legislation that suggests the 2012 elections will “save” America from Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and their far Left minions.

The election of Barack Obama was the result of the greatest act of political deception in the modern era. It was aided by a news media that not only ignored all the obvious signs that Obama was a denizen of the far Left, but was surrounded, not only by Leftists, but Communists like Van Jones whose Apollo Alliance helped write Obama’s budget-bursting $800 billion ‘stimulus’ bill.

The revolutionaries of the 1960s had mostly migrated to positions in higher education where they could influence a new generation, oblivious to the carnage that has always accompanied a Communist revolution, killing millions. Younger Americans in 2008 meant that those aged 18 to 29 made up nearly one in five voters or about twenty-five million ballots. They preferred Obama by a margin of more than two to one, 66 percent to 32 percent. They had no memory of the Cold War.

Seeking to dupe Americans Obamacare was an act of raw political power that ignored the same widespread rejection that an earlier version, dubbed “Hillarycare”, had encountered. “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it,” said then Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Its purpose was to completely socialize healthcare in America.

Americans, old and young, must not be duped again. The very future of the nation depends on the actions of a Republican-controlled House in the years remaining as America’s first Marxist President works his way, seeking always to make dupes of us all.

Myth speaks of a time of freedom in America, a time yet whispered about among “old-timers” in this modern, post-constitutional, socialist era of decay in America.

Long before the reign of “King Barak Obama,” (He of which so little is known) comes the storied legend of a high court created by the ancients to insure the government created by the people of the country ruled by the laws set forth in its founding documents. Some say it was known as “The SUPREME Court.”

There are those who dispute the legend today, however. They declare it is only the laws created in the court of The Great King Obama that carry the weight of the sovereign’s will and enforcement by the king’s minions.

It is said that far, far, out in the hinterlands of the country there exist wizen old storytellers who claim to have actually heard of a document called “The Constitution.” They say it was beloved by ancient citizens even though they changed it well over two score times.

Modern Americans take comfort in the knowledge that their beneficent ruler, King Obama, (The Divine Being be praised!) the compassionate one, has decided in his deep concern for the unwashed masses, the serfs of his kingdom, that he, “The Wise One,” will decide the laws to be obeyed and the laws that will be enforced by the Royal Justice Ministry.

Kings Obama, “The Enlightened one” has decreed that in his kingdom, anyone can become “married. Man can marry woman. Woman can marry woman. Man can marry animal. Woman can marry animal … ad infinitum.

Those who carry the king’s dispatches have praised the wisdom of His Eminence, King Obama. Town criers, all over the Obama Kingdom, have extolled the courage of the king’s action in this startling demonstration of post constitutional rights no longer guaranteed by a living, breathing, document that is now believed to finally be dead. In the words of the dispatch carriers: “Long Live The King!”

In the shadow of windmills and solar panels Americans huddle for warmth and protection around crackling fires kindled from a black stone ruled poisonous to the planet — and to Obama’s people. Beneath their feet sloshes oceans of a flammable liquid brimming with energy now outlawed by Obama’s Protector’s of the Earth Ministry. (May Earth Mother be praised!)

The huddled masses look on with wide-eyed wonderment as “Nature Wizards” of King Obama’s court continue to prepare them for a great heating up of the earth while temperatures plunge and winter’s harsh grasp continues to extend its life threatening reign longer with each passing year.

Some dare to inquire, openly, as to the elementary intelligence employed by Great King Obama’s “Wizards of Weather” in denying that, which they say, is obvious — even to the kingdom’s idiots, and that is that the earth is growing colder – not hotter.

Those who serve the great king at the grand “People’s Palace” on Obama Mount in the royal city (recently renamed “Obamagrad”) on the banks of the “Soetoro River” (formerly the Potomac River) continue to prostrate themselves in obeisance to His Royal Majesty even at the cost of their high positions in the mighty king’s court.

Meanwhile, in the forests and swamps of the South, in the plains and on the mountains of the Midwest and West, and atop the mounds of drifted snow in the north, defrocked priests of the recently outlawed religion, Christianity, continue to proclaim something called “The Gospel” and warn that worshipping the socialist state instead of the One True God is blasphemy and the wages of this gross sin is the death of the nation and eternal damnation for that nation’s people. (All nonsense, of course!)

Obama’s “Ministry of the Socialist State Religion,” it is said, has announced its agents are “collecting” these rogue religionists and detaining them, permanently, in the Kingdom’s Re-Education Camps. So far, none of those Re-Ed Camps can be found, though, we are assured they are secure in undisclosed locations somewhere in the deserts of the southwest.

Even so, modern, socialist, America can rest assured our Great King Obama (He who speaks unceasingly) is leading the once premier nation on the globe back to its former greatness and a realization of the American Dream through national Collectivism, Socialism, and Marxism the NEW holy trinity of the American state religion founded by our “Warrior of the Faith,” Great King Obama.

The powerful Labor Guilds of America assure that King Obama’s reign is secure from the insane maniacs who continue to rabble rouse in the name of a democratic representative government and continuously demand elections which, as we all know, were suspended, indefinitely, for the safety and security of the people of Obama’s Kingdom.

Not to worry. We are assured that King Obama’s Ministry of Obamaland’s Security will be swift in their duty to neutralize such threats to the people’s security and the security of the kingdom. Even those who may be enjoying the largess of the king’s Obamacare alchemists in the dozens of “ObamaCare Tent Treatment Centers,” scattered across the great kingdom will be dealt with, as well.

Who needs a “constitution” when all American’s needs are met by King Obama’s gracious, generous, and kindly ministrations from the cradle to the grave — no matter how short a span that might be.

Remember, America: Sacrifice is good. Fairness is good. Redistribution of your wealth is good. We must all work for the survival of the Obama Kingdom.

Forget about the myth of a US Constitution. We are assured by the Obama Kingdom Library that no such document exists, if it ever did.

Bipartisanship has no place in the next Congress. Getting along with Democrats should not even be a consideration. We conservatives did not send representatives to the US House of Representatives and the US Senate to “get along” with Democrats OR the Obama Administration. We sent them there to bring the current goings on to a “screeching halt” and to turn the country around and take it back to its conservative roots as a constitutional republic and not the socialist “People’s Republic” the liberal-socialists of the Democratic Party have striven so hard to make it into.

Our country is bearly recognizable today as a constitutional republic. The democratic controlled congress made clear they did not give a rip what the people wanted and they set about to “fundamentally change” America into a socialist dung heap. The many government regulatory agencies under the command of the Obama Regime have taken on so much power they resemble more the Nazi Gestapo than they do agencies of the US government… a government supposedly controlled by the people of the country. They, too, must be stopped, even if that means closing them down — forever. The Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Homeland Security, the Education Department, the Energy Department, the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, all top the list of government agencies that must be stopped.

Speaking of US government regulatory agencies – have you ever taken the time to discover just how many government agencies there are? Well, now you can. Go (HERE) for a complete list of all US government agencies. It is an “A” to “Z” list – and you will be astounded! These represent only those agencies made public. We have no idea, who, what, or how many others exist without the knowledge of the citizens of the country.

Prepare for the liberal-socialist democrats to begin, very shortly, to complain that the US government is “broken.” See, it is NOT broken as long as they get their way. Only when the American people get THEIR way is the US government broken to the Democrats!

If the politicians we sent to Washington, as a result of the November elections, do as we want and have instructed them to do, there will be a knock-down-drag-out brawl within the US House of Representatives and the US Senate over the next two years.

We don’t want compromise. We don’t want bipartisanship. We did not send them to Washington for either. We sent them to Washington to rescue our country — before it is lost forever.

For instance: We want ObamaCare repealed. We want it COMPLETELY repealed! That, alone, will be a monstrous job. The so-called “Dream Act,” which is only another rendition of Amnesty for illegal aliens must be stopped as well.

There will be weeping, and wailing and gnashing of teeth among the democrats at any effort to repeal ObamaCare, especially. Its repeal will mean the government losses control of one-sixth of the US economy. You’d better believe they will fight tooth and nail for control of the lives of every American citizen. They will weep on the floor of their respective chambers. They will tell America that ObamaCare is for the children, for the oppressed minorities, for anything and everything they can think of that might tug at America’s heartstrings. They have won so many battles before by playing on the voter’s emotions that they will not care how ridiculous they look with the crocodile tears streaming down their façade covered faces. It will be a ridiculous comedy played out before the eyes of the world.

We conservatives must be prepared for the onslaught of vile propaganda unleashed on their efforts to rescue America. The Mainstream Media, which is totally immersed in the agenda of the liberal-socialist democrats, will ride to the rescue of Obama and his socialist agenda. It has already begun. They currently sing his praises as the “come-back-kid” after his mediocre successes in the lame duck session of Congress.

Over the next two years, conservatives will need to take careful notice of the remaining “RINO’s” in Congress and prepare a plan of attack to remove them from office in the elections of November 2012.

And we must discover a conservative republican candidate for president who actually has a chance to win. Frankly, I see no possible winner among the host of names being floated about for consideration as possible candidates for the republican nomination today. We may need to go outside the usual herd to find a new face, a new name, with hard rock conservative values to carry our banner into the Oval Office.

The next two years will be two of the most difficult years in the conservative movement in the United States. We must be unrelenting as we push forward the conservative agenda.

Someone once said: “A nation of sheep, breeds a government of wolves.” It is time for conservative Americans to re-assert themselves as neither sheep nor wolves – but as lion-hearted Americans.

Ours is a rescue mission. If we do not press home our advantage over the next two years our mission will become a “recovery” mission.

For years I have followed the controversial career of Noam Chomsky, MIT professor of Linguistics and prolific writer on political philosophy. A self-described “libertarian socialist,” in my view an oxymoronic political philosophy, he summarizes as challenging all forms of authority and attempting to eliminate them if they are unjustified – for which the burden of proof is solely upon those who attempt to exert power.

Fifty years since publishing his work on transformational grammar, “Syntactic Structures” (1957), Chomsky is viewed as a demigod among the progressive left and a demagogue to the conservative right. According to reconstructed ’60s radical David Horowitz’s definitive article on Chomsky, this MIT professor is the patron saint of “the legions of ’60s radicals who have entrenched themselves in American universities to indoctrinate students in their anti-American creeds. The New York Times calls Chomsky ‘arguably the most important intellectual alive,’ and Rolling Stone – which otherwise does not even acknowledge the realm of the mind – ‘one of the most respected and influential intellectuals in the world.’”

His pioneering work in linguistics notwithstanding, what makes Chomsky such a beloved figure to Democrats, utopian socialists and liberal pseudo-intellectuals is that he utterly delights in spewing anti-American, anti-Semitic and pro-socialist rhetoric at every opportunity.

You might say, “Ellis, but isn’t Chomsky Jewish?” Yes, but in name only, for even Chomsky had to admit in his “Chomsky Reader” that his definition of Zionism (pre-1948) would amount to anti-Zionism. Like many Jewish leftists, including Emma Goldman, Daniel Barenboim, Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer, Rahm Emmanuel, David Axelrod and socialist billionaire George Soros, their Jewish identity is merely an accident of nature and plays no important role in dictating their spiritual or political life. Therefore, Chomsky believes in an immediate end to “Jewish settlements” and in the creation of an independent Palestinian state despite most serious Middle East experts like Dr. Daniel Pipes holding that such views would assure the demise of the state of Israel.

The ultimate expose on the radical nature of our 44th president: “The Manchurian President: Barack Obama’s Ties to Communists, Socialists and other Anti-American Extremists.” The best-seller as an audio book is also available.

History to Chomsky is all relative; it is written by the winners and biased against non-whites and Third World countries. This sophistic idea is evident in this rant by Chomsky: “Legally speaking, there’s a very solid case for impeaching every American president since the Second World War. They’ve all been either outright war criminals or involved in serious war crimes.”

An irrational hatred of America is one of the sacred canons of the socialist left, which Chomsky repeatedly demonstrates in his writings: “What America really wants is to steal from the poor and give to the rich. America’s crusade against Communism was actually a crusade; to protect our doctrine that the rich should plunder the poor. That is why we busied ourselves in launching a new crusade against terrorism after the end of the Cold War.”

Is America fearful of the achievements of Third World countries, as Chomsky believes, and to this day plots against their success? Chomsky has literally written dozens of volumes claiming that those who threaten to succeed like the Marxist governments of Cuba, North Korea, Nicaragua, or the Muslim terrorist states of Iran and Syria, America regards as viruses. “Except for a few madmen and nitwits, none feared [Communist] conquest – they were afraid of a positive example of successful development,” Chomsky rants. “What do you do when you have a virus? First you destroy it, then you inoculate potential victims, so that the disease does not spread. That’s basically the U.S. strategy in the Third World.”

When Chomsky characterizes the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan as “the wanton killing of innocent civilians” and “terrorism, not a war against terrorism,” he ignores 9/11 and seems to contradict Justice Robert Jackson’s famous aphorism, that “the U.S. Constitution is not a suicide pact.”

What war in the history of warfare can Chomsky point to that didn’t have massive civilian casualties? No rational person wants them to happen, but it is the nature of war. And where are Chomsky’s tears and lachrymose rhetoric for his own heroic countrymen who constantly put their lives on the line to defend America’s republic, which gives him the freedom to spew his nitwit liberal ideas?

Following his absurd line of argument that since World War II condemns America as a terrorist state, Chomsky must portray the bombing of civilians in Dresden, Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, which even liberal historians now admit saved millions of Allied lives and brought an earlier end to the war, as terrorist acts.

Regrettably, the treacherous and idiotic ideas of professor Chomsky have been integrated throughout the entire Obama administration, particularly in international policy. Obama, like Chomsky, believes that America has been justly tried in the court of the international community (U.N., the International Criminal Court, the Arab League, etc.) and has been found guilty. Now it’s payback time, which explains why President Obama for the past two years has zealously and purposely enacted policies designed to deconstruct America.

Horowitz sums up Chomsky’s perverted impact on America society over the past 50 years in this manner:

Schooled in these big lies, taught to see America as Greed Incarnate and a political twin of the Third Reich, why wouldn’t young people – with no historical memory – come to believe that the danger ahead lies in Washington rather than Baghdad or Kabul?

It would be easy to demonstrate how on every page of every book and in every statement that Chomsky has written the facts are twisted, the political context is distorted (and often inverted) and the historical record is systematically traduced. Every piece of evidence and every analysis is subordinated to the overweening purpose of Chomsky’s lifework, which is to justify an idée fixe – his pathological hatred of his own country.

Like Napoleon, Chomsky is a little man with big, destructive ideas, a disproportionate influence in the intellectual marketplace, and lives the remainder of his vacuous life as a pathetic, increasingly irrelevant academic without a country.

Republicans won control of the House and cut deeply into the Democrats’ majority in the Senate in yesterday’s election. The House speaker to be, John Boehner is reported to have said The election results were “a repudiation of Washington, a repudiation of big government, and a repudiation of politicians who refuse to listen to the people.” “Speaker” Boehner was spot-on!

Last night saw the largest turnover of seats in the US House since the 1940’s. Republicans captured at least 65 seats in the US House with some races still not decided and at least a few of those are expected to go over to the Republicans.

It was an historic event. Over in the US Senate, the GOP picked up at least six seats with a number still undecided.

The results of this election will be spun and re-spun by the democrats, but the fact is, it was a slap down of the Obama Regime and it’s socialist agenda.

Here, in North Carolina, voters cleaned the House and the Senate! Now republicans control BOTH houses of the NC State General Assembly. It is the first time since 1898 (get that?) — 1898 – that republicans have controlled the NC Senate. North Carolina’s democrats received a “Cease and desist” order from Tar Heel voters.

All across the country, except for two or three deep blue states, the story was much the same.
It was the expected tsunami. It crashed upon the shores of Washington, DC resoundingly. Nationwide voters demonstrated their displeasure with the liberal-socialist democrats and handed control of the People’s House, the House of Representatives to the republicans — just four years after the same voters had taken it away. This time the republicans will have a solid majority in the House — one that can produce laws and polices that will be on the books for many years to come.

Out in California, one of those “deep blue” states, Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown returns to the governor’s mansion. That was no surprise and practically everyone understands now that California is a socialist state and hopelessly lost to the remainder of America.

Most Americans understand what is about to happen with California. One of two things must happen. Either America cuts California loose by revoking its statehood, or the American taxpayer must anti-up and pay off California’s bills, which they ran up through their own stupidity. Somehow, the latter just tends to tick me off.

If we bail California out, they will never learn their lesson and will, like the children they behave as, continue making those same dumb, infantile, mistakes over as the American taxpayer underwrites their idiocy.

And what of the Tea Party? It proved, last night, it is a force to be reckoned with. It solidified its position as the viable Third, or even second party, which now hangs as Damocles’ Sword over the heads of the republican and democratic parties. That, in my estimation, is a GOOD thing!

The Tea Party put the lie to the Mainstream Media’s claims that tea partiers were mean, and violent and mad as hell, etc., etc. Just as we knew — NONE of that was anywhere near the truth — except for the “mad as hell” part!

J. P. Freire of the Washington Examiner said this: “Violent movements do not do these things. They don’t show up at the polls and overwhelm the establishment in favor of a minority candidate, as in the case of Sen.-elect Marco Rubio, R-Fla. They also don’t lose so badly, as in the case of Christine O’Donnell. They don’t take on, and nearly defeat, the leader of the majority party in the Senate, at the same time as he colludes with casinos in a potentially illegal scheme to get out the vote in his favor. They don’t settle for a more liberal candidate in Illinois just because he’s the most electable.

Yet they did all of those things. Strange.” (SOURCE)

The Tea Party understands, perhaps better than most, the danger facing America and they understand that America’s salvation as a free country is the founding document, the US Constitution and underlying everything they do is the demand that the US government follow the constitution. And for that they are called “wackos!”

We Americans have much work to do in the months ahead. One of the most important jobs facing us as a nation, as a free people, is to relieve ourselves of the millstone around our necks called OBAMA! We must begin, today, to lay the foundation for removing Obama from the Oval Office in 2012.

In the meantime, hold the feet of the republicans to the fire and SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TEA PARTY!

Continuing our article series on Benjamin Wiker’s “10 Books every Conservative Must Read,” we come to Part III: The Place of Economics for Conservatives and Chapter 10, “The Road to Serfdom (1944),” by the Austrian economist and moral philosopher, Friedrich August Hayek, who unmasked the utopian socialism of Karl Marx’s homo economicus declaring that “the most important change which extensive government control produces is a psychological change, an alteration in the character of the people,” a change that Wiker says “occurs when they willingly yield their freedom to a totalitarian state, even if it is the comfortable servitude of the welfare state.”

Regarding Hayek’s critical legacy in economics, Milton Friedman wrote: “There is no figure who had more of an influence … on the intellectuals behind the Iron Curtain than Friedrich Hayek. His books were translated and published by the underground and black market editions, read widely, and undoubtedly influenced the climate of opinion that ultimately brought about the collapse of the Soviet Union.”

Following the intellectual traditions of Aristotle, the father of political conservatism, as well as Burke, Tocqueville, Chesterton, C.S. Lewis, Belloc and Voegelin, Hayek strongly advocated individual moral responsibility to expand one’s own abilities to take care of themselves and their society. Therefore, Hayek believed that the government should be a means “to help individuals in the fullest development of their individual personality,” rather than an end in itself. Hayek believed that socialism crushes the human spirit and the opportunity to develop one’s own intelligence and moral responsibility, to direct his own human potential and to contribute to the commonwealth.

Although initially unremarkable as a student at the University of Vienna, he considered himself an agnostic as well as a Fabian socialist or Marxism with a smiley face, which imposed socialism gradually through the democratic process rather than at the point of a gun through violent revolution. Eventually Hayek found his passion in studying economics and developed several key relationships at the famed Austrian School of Economics, including: Carl Menger, Friedrich von Wieser and Ludwig von Mises. He would later form an intellectual discussion group with Eric Voegelin called the Geistkreis and attend von Mises’ private seminars, which further solidified his conservative economic worldviews.

Hayek earned his doctorate in law in 1921 (with a minor in economics) and a doctorate in political science in 1923. From 1923-24 with von Mises help, he studied at New York University and later he worked briefly at the Federal Reserve while greatly improving his fluency in English. In 1927 he founded the Austrian Institute for Business Cycle Research with von Mises where he discarded any leftover Fabian socialist tendencies. As a professor at the London School of Economics, he frequently debated with the famous socialist economist Harold Laski. Later, at the University of Chicago, he was a professor in the Committee on Social Thought where his faculty seminar on the philosophy of science was attended by many of the university’s most notable scientists of the time, including Enrico Fermi, Sewall Wright and Leó Szilárd.

Wiker says of Hayek that humility defined his worldview, that “human beings are not gods. We are not, and can never be, all-knowing. For our own good, we need to accept, with humility, our own human intellectual limitations.” Hayek’s arguments favoring free-market capitalism, federalism and limited government were not based upon parochialism, anarchy or greed, but upon a vigorous recognition of the intrinsic limitations of the human condition. Hayek knew that the leviathan federal government was the antithesis of humility, and therefore could never recognize that it cannot possibly know and judge all things for all people nor have the deference to take a laissez-faire approach to an activist government seeking to solve all social ills.

On this point Wiker wrote:

Socialist government sees itself as a benevolent god; it becomes instead a malevolent tyrant, micromanaging the details of everyone’s life with all the blundering inefficiency, confusion, unintended consequences, and plain idiocy (which we politely call “imprudence”) that have made the name “bureaucrat” a term of infamy. The bureaucrat truly becomes evil when he comes to believe that local people are too stupid to know what’s good for them and are better off ruled with the iron hand of the government’s experts.

Hayek isn’t against all forms of government and concedes a role for government in the economy. Hayek allows that government should assure that prices aren’t fixed by collusion, that monopolies don’t crush competition and that some regulatory safeguards are necessary to protect society against obvious dangers like poisons, food safety and dangerous products for the preservation of competition and anti-monopoly.

Like Voegelin, Hayek understood that treating politics and economics as if they were branches of physics or chemistry was a dangerous fallacy and a fundamental left-liberal, or socialist, error. “Those who argue that we have to an astounding degree learned to master the forces of nature but are sadly behind in making successful use of the possibilities of social collaboration are quite right. … This is not only the path to totalitarianism but the path to destruction of our civilization and a certain way to block future progress.”

Hayek and C. S. Lewis both foresaw the inherent dangers in ever advancing technology. Hayek wrote, “While there is nothing in modern technological developments which forces us toward comprehensive economic planning, there is a great deal in them which makes infinitely more dangerous the power a planning authority would possess.” This recalls Lewis’ repeated warning, that “each new power won by man is a power over man as well.”

If Hayek were alive today, he would be outraged that America, the world’s oldest republic and the greatest nation in the history of humanity, has descended so low from conservative free-market capitalism as to recklessly amass a $14.3 plus trillion debt and have Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton repeatedly beg our enemies, like China, to buy our debt so we can further bankrupt America by funding an unconstitutional and unsustainable socialist welfare state.

I continue to read, hear, and see reports by the Mainstream Media that Christine O’Donnell’s win Tuesday, in Delaware, insures the Democrats will maintain control of the Senate. Well, I’m not so sure — and I think the liberal-socialists in the media, in the Republican Party, and in the Democratic Party are fooling themselves if they choose to believe the race in Delaware will determine control of the US Senate.

Mark Tapscott has an article titled “Two initial lessons to be gleaned from O’Donnell victory” at The Washington Examiner in which he, too, explains his reservations about control of the senate being insured by the O’Donnell Victory.

In his article, Mr. Tapscott says the following:

“There are at least two lessons here.

First, the anger among Republican voters is not limited to the far right reaches of its “base.” Castle was one of the most popular political figures in the state, yet his support in Congress for TARP bailouts, the radical House version of Cap-and-Trade, and the DISCLOSE Act marked him back home among his fellow Republicans as more a representative of the Washington Establishment to Delaware than Delaware’s representative to Washington.

Lesson: The days of “moderate” Republicans in Congress being able to talk the talk of reform in Washington without actually walking it are rapidly coming to an end everywhere except perhaps in the deepest, darkest reaches of the Northeast.

Second, right or wrong, there is no more divisive figure on the Right, for the moment, than O’Donnell. On the issues, she portrays herself as a solid conservative and of course touted her endorsement by Sarah Palin. The problem with O’Donnell is thus not with her ideological orientation, it is strictly because there are serious questions about her financial record and ethical code.”

Tapscott goes on to say: “Still, I question the conventional wisdom that Delaware is now a lock for the Democrats. Despite Scott Brown, Rand Paul, Sharon Angle, and Joe Miller, the talking heads in Washington and New York obviously still cannot comprehend the depth or intensity of anger among voters or the fact that anger is far from limited to conservatives. (The emphasis here is my own.)

We think Mr. Tapscott’s comments are very insightful and right on the money. You may read the entire article by Mark Tapscott (HERE).

The depth and intensity of the voter’s anger is just ignored by the political elite in both parties. The Mainstream Media just sniffs and looks the other way.

Plus, they both fail to understand that the Tea Party Movement is NOT A REPUBLICAN Movement. It is a CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT, which embraces voters from the Democratic Party, The Republican Party, The Libertarian Party, and a host of Independents and others!

To sum up: They haven’t a clue!

The Tea Party is not about SO much of what the Elite Media and politicians and all the political science eggheads claim it is. Plain and simple, the Tea Party Movement is about stopping Obama’s “Fundamental Transformation” of America. It is about taking America back from the Socialists, the Marxists, the Progressives, the Socialist-Liberals, and returning it to the status of a constitutional republic as the Founders intended. That is the purpose and the goal of the Tea Party Movement in America.

Along the way we intend to insure that our radical-socialist president is shown the door in 2012.

I just don’t buy it. And I don’t think America’s intensely outraged voters will either. Frankly, it smacks of a pre-planned effort by the democrats/mainstream media to demoralize conservative voters before the showdown in November. But it is doomed to failure.

About the only thing worrying me about the outcome in November is the democrats “October Surprise” which I am reasonably sure will be forthcoming next month. I have no idea what it will be — but since the democrats are big on fear expect it to something designed to strike fear in the hearts of all who even dare to consider voting against them. Come to think of it, fear is about al the democrats have left now. Isn’t it?

One thing I’ like to address before I close this rant. For those of you insistent on supporting the Democratic Party just as your parents and grandparents did — and as you have done so faithfully over your lifetime, please understand — this Democratic Party is NOT, I repeat, IS NOT, the Democratic Party of your forefathers and not even the Democratic Party of your earlier years. The Democratic Party today is a polyglot of Socialists, Marxists, Progressives, Communist, and what we have come to know as “socialist-liberals.” It has shown itself to be the enemy of freedom, of liberty, indeed, of the Constitution, and it (the Democratic Party) is determined to transform America into a socialist dictatorship. They have already begun the process.

They must be stopped else America, the bastion of freedom and liberty, will be no more. It is as simple and as frightening as that.

Today’s Democratic Party, in my opinion, is determined to collapse the American government and drive Americans into the embrace of a socialist dictatorship, which they have already designed and have waiting in the wings.

America needs all her children to, once again, man the barricades and stop the encroachment on our freedom and destroy the evil attempt to destroy our constitutional republic.

Back in the 1950’s, while still a lad in high School, I delivered a speech at the University of South Carolina. I don’t remember a great deal of what I said in that particular speech, but I remember I called notice to the dangers of socialism and communism — and the danger of an all powerful government they both demand.

I remember, too, that I mentioned how socialist governments, such as the one in the socialist Soviet Union used the power of the government to keep their citizens in check, in line, if you will. I mentioned how the secret police of the Soviet Union would come knocking at the doors of their citizen’s homes at the “dead hour” (3 AM), smash it in — and drag the would be dissident off to the Lubyanka Prison – and if he/she lived through the interrogation, would, quite likely, wind up in a gulag prison somewhere in the frigid climes of Siberia, there to work for the state while valiantly trying to remain alive.

Living in the socialist Soviet Union meant toeing the socialist line. One thing, which was never tolerated by the state, was disagreement with the state. If one dared to openly disagree with the government of that socialist country, you would be investigated, immediately, and fairly soon you would find yourself in the bowels of the Lubyanka Prison — or some other suitable site for “intensive interrogation” — then on to digging latrines in the frozen ground of Siberia.

So – what does this have to do with America today? I assure you it has more to do with the situation we Americans find ourselves in today than I care to dwell upon. But we will dwell upon it for a few moments.

Unfortunately, America finds herself on the threshold of just such a society ruled over by socialist thugs in charge of our government in Washington, DC.

We are all aware of the debate over the attempt to locate an Islamic Mosque, just 600 feet from the ghastly hole in the ground of New York City where the World Trade Center stood, until a handful of Muslims brought it down by crashing two loaded airliners into it killing nearly 3,000 innocent Americans including men, women and children.

Recently, the President of the United States announced, pointedly, and publicly, his support for the placement of that mosque so near the still tender scar on America’s soul.

An overwhelming majority of Americans have voiced their disapproval of that particular site for an Islamic mosque. Islam was the religion of those Muslims who hi-jacked those planes and deliberately flew them into the Twin Towers committing mass murder in the name of Islam. Some of the voices raised in disapproval are those of prominent citizens. They joined the protesting voices booming from the conservative side of the blogosphere including the voice of “yours truly.”

Just last week, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, a democrat, suggested that those who disagreed with the placement of that mosque at Ground Zero should be investigated.

When I heard what the Speaker had said, my blood ran cold. This was exactly the same thing I had warned the audience about, back in the 1950’s, at the University of South Carolina. I was just a high school kid then, but I already, instinctively, knew way down deep, where I live, that socialism was a product designed and manufactured in Hell and marketed by Satan, himself. I knew then, as I know now, that socialism is nothing more than a pleasant looking façade for pure evil.

Speaker Pelosi’s suggestion that those who disagreed with President B. Hussein Obama’s position of support for the Ground Zero Mosque should be investigated is straight out of the socialist handbook. Never, ever, disagree with them! They will make every effort to destroy anyone with the temerity to disagree with their “statist” philosophy.

Speaker Pelosi’s suggestion to investigate those, like myself, who disagree with Obama, is just one link in the chain of socialist slavery with which the democrats are working, tirelessly, to shackle America. They are making it known they are coming after anyone who threatens their hold on power.

As the American Mainstream Media has voluntarily pledged their fealty to the socialist government of B. Hussein Obama, it is the conservative voice of the blogosphere that presents the most vociferous challenge to Obama, Pelosi, and Reed and the socialists in the American government. We have NOT escaped their notice and, rest assured, they are coming after us anyway they can.

The democrats have guided America into socialism and they are now very afraid Americans will turn on them and snatch the reins of power from them. They are in a state of near panic while the level of anger toward them, and what they have done to America since 2006, has risen to an explosive level. That explosion is set for detonation on November 2nd of this year – and the democrats know it.

Publicly, the democrats deny it, while privately they are sick at heart over their blow-hard, narcissistic, President who has not only embarrassed them, but may have led their mutual political party to near destruction.

Indications are that the democrats are just now coming to realize Americans are not ready for socialism on a par with the socialist states of Europe. They already knew that my generation of Americans would never willingly accept socialism without a fight. They also knew that my generation could be counted on to vote — at every election.

As our national leaders observe the quiet rebellion of its citizens exercising their constitutional right to assemble and petition the government for redress of their grievances — under the banner of the Tea Parties, they react outwardly in surprise and anger. That is their public reaction. Privately, they know the game is over and their over-reaching gamble to turn America from a constitutional republic to a socialist sewer has failed.

It is incumbent upon the American electorate to hammer the nails into the coffin lid of the Democratic Party’s attempt to “Fundamentally Reform” America into a “collectivist” socialist state. We can do that by going to the polls this coming November and voting as many democrats out of office as we possibly can — and voting against new Democratic Party candidates seeking office, as well. Doing so will insure they cannot perpetuate those socialist programs they managed to activate since 2006 –and that includes ObamaCare.

In addition, we must make absolutely clear that we insist the GOP, once bestowed with the power of leadership, defunds and repeals those socialist programs with which the democrats have yoked America.

The GOP must understand that if they try and fail, or if they refuse, America will be very unforgiving and will vote them out of office, as well. The stage will then be set for a thriving third party, which will replace one of the two major parties in existence today — just as the Republicans replaced the Whig Party in the 19th century.

As a young High School student in the 1950’s I intuitively knew this fight was coming. Now that it is here – we must not fail.
