Where did the “Silent Majority” go?
These are the people who shop at Wal-Mart, and K-mart, and drive 2, 3 or 4 year old cars. Most own their own homes. They have savings accounts and they have a family budget, which they will not abuse. Their lives are built around their families and their church.
Notes from the Underground: 9/12 in DC
The Tea Party movement has its roots in the great Silent Majority of this nation. The crowd was almost eerily quiet and well behaved. These are not people who have protested much of anything during their entire lives and they don’t (yet) really know how to do it. These people weren’t professionally organized and bused to the event, they were drawn there by their own personal convictions.
Right versus left on the Blogosphere
Since I began writing for the conservative side of the blogosphere, I have been getting vicious, bitter, hate-filled comments from readers, and 99.9% of it is from the Political Left in America. I understood, when I began, that getting e-mail in disagreement with my opinions could be expected- and that it would come.
