I believe that in some cases people are ignoring the problems simply because they want to vote for their party. This is also wrong, party politics do not work. They have not worked and regardless of what many say they will not work. Voting simply because a person is a democrat or a republican will only continue the progression of “evil” that exists in today’s political climate.

Character matters is something I learned from the Republican party, so its sad to see its demise within the party in 2010. For those who say we must come together and support Billy Long on the premise he is a Republican, that shouldn’t be good enough after what the party learned in 2006 with Mark Foley.
Nothing new about this tactic
In their best let’s-you-and-them-fight mode, the bought-and-sold Obama worshipping mainstream media is advising the Republican Party to surrender to its tiny left-leaning wing they call the moderates and allow them to set the GOP’s agenda.

In another example of Obama Administration acumen the Dems managed to lose New Jersey, too! Of course the Washington Post assures us there’s nothing to see here, in fact one headline reads “No Referendum on Obama,” but in both states voters who in fact used the election as a referendum on Obama voted against him.
Our First Priority
Now we are hearing from many moderates in the mushy middle that the Republican Party should set aside some of the social issues and concentrate on economic issues where “everyone” can agree. I have mixed feelings about this message. On one hand we have the hypocrisy displayed by those pushing this view point as we have seen precious little economic common sense from those who want to elevate that to the top of Republican agenda.
