Stupid Answers to Serious Issues

jesterThe answers we have been hearing are the worst possible. Over and over again we are told that the U.S. must become more dependent on “alternative, clean” energy, meaning solar and wind energy. These represent about 1% of all the energy the nation consumes at present. Neither comes close to the energy produced by coal which represents over 50% of all the electricity we consume daily. What Al Gore Doesn’t want you to Know

During the election, Obama drew little attention for his coming war on carbon dioxide, an essential gas for life on earth. In the coming months, Obama will label CO2 a dangerous gas. Carbon dioxide–plants consume it for photosynthesis. Without plants, we would die. It’s just that simple. There is also something called “the curse of oil” because, if the price per barrel drops, the fate of some nations goes with it. This is the case, for example, of the former Soviet Russia whose government collapsed when it could no longer secure hard currency when oil and gas prices fell. Democrat Deceptions about Oil

Lost amidst the many speeches delivered at the Democrat Convention was one by Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada. He is the Senate Majority Leader and, as such, controls the legislative agenda in that upper house of Congress. Harry Reid hates oil, but then, so does the Democrat Party.
The reason this nation is held hostage to other oil producing nations is that the Democrats, going back to President Jimmy Carter, have waged war on the American oil industry. Read more »
