Why should it be portrayed as a greater tragedy when a “single mother” loses her job rather than a man with a wife that stays at home? Seems both domestic arrangements are in similar positions without income.

In calling for a single source for the unemployed to seek information on training opportunities, doesn’t that involve the federal government assuming more control over education?

Obama insists it should be illegal for students to drop out of school before they are 18. Why should this be a matter of federal interference and what will the punishment be for those leaving prior to that age?

If no country is better than any other according to multiculturalist dogma, then why should foreign students be allowed to remain here after graduation?

If women are to earn equal pay for equal work, then make them lug the same weight around the stockroom or warehouse without having to seek masculine assistance to do so.

If lightweight vests are being developed by federal researchers that can stop any bullet, will such protective garments be made available to civilians as well or do we have an obligation to be shot by law enforcement?

Interesting how it was mentioned derisively about a company that at one time only produced yachts.

If it should be impermissible for insurance companies to charge more for women’s health coverage, then why should men have to pay more for motor vehicle policies?

Obama claimed politics is not about clinging to rigid ideologies. So why is it conservatives that must always surrender their basic ideals and ideas?

Obama claimed that government ought to only do what people are unable to do for themselves. Thing of it is, given his Frau’s desire to manipulate and meddle in your dietary intake, the First Couple doesn’t think you are really capable of doing anything for yourself.

Obama wants to grant tax credits to businesses hiring veterans. Why should the military status of a business’s employees be any business of the federal government?

The best way to insure opportunities for veterans, as well as all other Americans, is for the federal government to know the least amount possible regarding the nation’s workforce.

If it doesn’t matter in the military what color or gender you are, as Obama insists, why are certain standards lowered for females seeking advancement and White males held back because of the color of their skin rather than the content of their character. If color has no bearing in the military, why are we often reminded that Colin Powell was the first Black Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as if that is suppose to immunize him against all criticism and scrutiny?

Would Bob Gates have been kept on as Secretary of Defense had he been a solid conservative Republican rather than an ardent establishmentarian compromiser?

Obama admonished the American people to look at what the nation could accomplish if the people were organized along military lines. However, the purpose of the military is to defend democracy, not practice it. In a civilian state, the average person is allowed to question the decrees and decisions of leaders elected, appointed, and bureaucratic. Such bottom up scrutiny is not allowed in the military and is punished severely.

This analyst tabulated approximately 80 rounds of applause in the 2012 State of the Union Address.

Obama Weakens the Military

“Si vis pacem, para bellum.” If you want peace, plan for war. The adage is attributed to the 4th or 5th century Latin author Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus’s tract De Re Militari book 3. This fundamental wisdom is being ignored by President Obama, one of two recent Commanders-in-Chief who never spent a day in uniform, let alone under fire.

In a recent American Thinker commentary by Jim Yardley, he said, “It is apparent that the president, in developing his strategy, used the same extensive knowledge, his superior intellect, and worldly wealth of experience that he brought to his strategy for his $800-billion stimulus, his strategy for providing cost-free health care to millions of Americans, and his strategy for using ‘smart diplomacy’ to defuse not spots around the world.”

Perhaps receiving the Nobel Peace Prize barely months into his first year as President has convinced Obama that he is the man to get all our enemies to join hands and sing Kumbaya. Obama accepted the prize that has gone to other seekers of peace like Yassir Arafat, founder of the Palestinian Liberation Organization or co-winners, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and Al Gore. The IPCC and Gore have led the greatest hoax of the modern era, global warming, and Arafat rejected every effort at peace offered by Israel by going back on his word and using terrorism to achieve his goals.

There is no question that the announced cuts to the U.S. military budget are, in part, the result of the domestic run up of debt and borrowing the followed the financial crisis of 2008; itself the result of bad government policies regarding the wholesale granting of mortgages to people who could not afford homes, then bundling those bad mortgages and selling them as assets to the banks.

While the economy is showing some small signs of regaining its footing, the government is still borrowing forty cents of every dollar it spends and has shown no real intent to reduce spending.

While this is occurring we have a President who has made clear his antipathy of the role of the military. A recent Wall Street Journal editorial noted that “The Pentagon shouldn’t be immune to fiscal scrutiny, yet this Administration has targeted defense from its earliest days and has kept on squeezing. The White House last year settled with Congress on $450 billion in military budget cuts through 2012, on top of the $350 billion in weapons programs killed earlier,” adding “Taken altogether, the budget could shrink by over 30% in the next decade.”

Following a 1993 attempt to destroy the World Trade Center Osama bin Laden, a still largely obscure Islamic fanatic, declared war on the United States in 1996. In 2001, al Qaeda succeeded, killing nearly 3,000. To underestimate the intent of his successors to destroy the nation would be a grave error. To think that his assassination along with the killing of a relative handfull of other al Qaeda leaders has ended the threat is wishful thinking.

To think that the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq will not at some point result in the possible breakup of that nation or the withdrawal from Afghanistan will rid us of the threat of Islamic fanaticsim is still more wishful thinking.

Right now and ever since 1979, the threat of Iran is the largest facing the Middle East and the West. Its leaders have never made a secret of its intent to acquire nuclear weapons, to threaten all other Middle Eastern nations, as well as Europe and America is on a par with the threat the rise of Nazism posed in Germany in the 1930s.

After World War Two, America emerged as a superpower and it took on the role of global policeman. No military prescience predicted the attack on South Korea by North Korea, nor was our strategy in Vietnam successful. We had earlier failed to anticipate the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor despite efforts to keep out of the war that had begun in 1939.

The lesson that should have been learned is that overwhelming military strength contributes greatly to avoiding wars.

President Obama is ignoring that. It is not, however, to say that he is taking Iran lightly. In early January, thousands of U.S. troops were deployed to Israel and senior U.S. military sources say they anticipate they will remain through the year. Obstensively, they are there to participate in joint U.S.-Israeli war games. They will be joined by a U.S. aircraft carrier and, as we know, we have a task force in place in the event the Iranians try to close the Strait of Hormuz through which passes one sixth of the world’s oil supplies.
The U.S. could be energy independent in a decade if the Administration and Congress would remove the obstacles to accessing our enormous reserves of coal, oil and natural gas, but that remains unlikely as this is written.

The decision to reduce the size of our military to 490,000 troops from 570,000 could not come at a worse time. Air and naval assets, we’re told, will be maintained. Holding evacuated or captured territory requires “boots on the ground.” The decision of former President Bush to “surge” in Iraq by increasing troop strength turned a potential defeat into a success. A war-weary America and the current Iraqi regime wanted us out and we are out.

Meanwhile Egypt that underwent “the Arab Spring” has fallen into the hands of a militant, anti-American and anti-Israel Muslim Brotherhood. Turkey has joined the Islamic frenzy, the future of Syria remains unknown, so anyone who thinks that military action anywhere, but especially in Iran, is not a real potential is not paying attention.

President Obama’s claim that “the tide of war is receding” is likely to rank with British PM Neville Chamberlains claim of “peace in our time” after a visit with Hitler.

It is wishful thinking or worse. It is the deliberate effort to ignore the dangers in the world. Shifting military personnel and assets to Asia acknowledges China’s rising power, but U.S. military leaders have warned against a war in Asia for decades. It is doubtful the Chinese want one.

What is not in doubt is that this is the wrong time to reduce our military strength and capabilities. We did that after World War One and paid a price for it. President Obama’s policies put us in the same peril.

Obama Sets Stage for Third US/Iraq War

Does Obama get out of bed each morning wondering how he can screw things up today? Does the Obama Administration have a secret department within the bowels of the White House whose job assignment is to come up with ways to screw things up for the United States? I mean – it just seems impossible for anyone to accidentally screw up so many things so often, and in some case, on a continuous basis.

President Obama is a prime example why I believe the United States needs a military man as President.

Look at Afghanistan. Under the leadership of the current Commander-in-Chief, American causalities have skyrocketed. And they will get worse as the Taliban rebounds. All because an inexperienced American leader openly tells the enemy that he will be withdrawing Americans troops on a date certain. Oh, you can rest assured that Americans deaths will continue to rise in Afghanistan until we rebuild our forces on the ground there, allow them to go after the insurgents, and untie their hands and allow them to decimate the Taliban in Afghanistan – and in Pakistan — or, get American troops out of Afghanistan – completely.

So what has the Commandeer-in-Chief screwed-up lately? Well, according to news reports he is about to order a shocking draw down of American troops in Iraq. Instead of decimating the enemy in Iraq, Obama is decimating American troop numbers to such a low level that US troops will be hard pressed to defend themselves — let alone train Iraqis to take care of themselves. Look for American causalities to rise in Iraq very soon.

It is reported that American commanders in that theatre are “livid” at the Commander-in-Chief for this amateurish handling of the US military. What this is, in my opinion, is total disrespect for the US military by Obama. Our military deserves more, a hell of a lot more, from their Commander-in-Chief, especially after all their sacrifice.

A small contingent of troops will create another “Fort Apache” situation where US troops could potentially over-run and wiped-out.

On the other hand the mad mullahs of Iran are beside themselves with joy! They cannot believe their good luck. They find it almost impossible to believe the American people would allow their President to show such disrespect for their nation’s warriors. But — they are jubilant with the knowledge that this huge blunder by Obama will allow Iran’s influence to grow by leaps and bonds within Iraq and it will allow Iran to train and rearm a huge army of Iraqi insurgents along with a massive inflow of Iranian troops to retake Iraq and fulfill the Iranian goal of hegemony in the region. In other words – Iran will own Iraq after all the American blood spilled on Iraqi soil – thanks to Obama.

You know, we Americans are one screwed-up people. We have elected a leader who has managed to trash the nation, here at home, and internationally, and still nearly 40% of the electorate supports the “Trasher-in-Chief.” How do you explain something like this? How is it possible that descendents of pilgrims and pioneers have not stormed the White House demanding that Obama resign and leave the Oval Office? (One reason, of course, is that we are painfully aware that Joe Biden is waiting in the wings to step into Obama’s shoes. That scenario is so scary that I don’t even want to go there!)

Here’s what I see in my somewhat dusty crystal ball for US/Iraqi relations: The US will have to invade Iraq for a third time — to drive out the Iranians. The problem with that scenario is that should we have to do that, we most certainly will have to drive into Iran itself to destroy the current Iranian regime and cripple the Iranian military and their nuclear bomb aspirations.

That will be no easy task. It will be a very long and nasty war with more casualties that the Afghanistan and Iraq wars combined and, most likely, become a regional war involving most of the nations of the Middle East including Israel.

Its called “Thinking Ahead.” Most successful leaders do it as a matter of course. Unfortunately for America, our illustrious leader seems devoid of the ability to think ahead about anything but his reelection.

Presidents who win wars listen to their military commanders. They draw from that well of training and experience dug by the men who actually have to fight the wars by committing American sons and daughters to “Harm’s Way,” and then have to write the letters to their families when those same men and women lose their lives as a result of the commands THEY give. THEY KNOW about fighting and defeating America’s enemies. Civilian Presidents, as a rule, DO NOT!

Only 3,000 American troops on the ground in Iraq means they will have to assume a defensive mode and maintain it 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The stress alone will be awful on those men and women.

So why is Obama doing it? Politics — plain and simple. It’s called “pandering” to the political left. And it will get worse until Mr. Obama is relieved of his duties in the Oval Office in November of 2012.

This is just another reason to vote for anyone with an “R” beside his or her name when you enter the voting booth in November of 2012. Times are just that desperate in America today.

Defense-Less

As bad as the present financial crisis is, how much worse would it be if the enemies of the United States of America, emboldened by a smaller Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, decided that they could engage in military aggression against their neighbors with impunity? Or worse.

With time out for conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, the former Yugoslavia, Iraq and Afghanistan, the U.S. has played an essential role in maintaining global peace and the safety of the sea lanes. The threat horizon, however, is always changing.

The same week the U.S. was grappling with the aftermath of the Standard and Poor’s downgrade of our credit rating, the Chinese announced they were putting an aircraft carrier, their first, out to sea for its initial trials before further retrofitting. Two others are reportedly being built.

In July, the scholars of the American Enterprise Institute, the Heritage Foundation, and the Foreign Policy Initiative got together to produce an 8-page report, “Defending Defense: Warning – Hollow Force Ahead!”

They addressed a number of myths about the U.S. armed forces, among which was that they will “continue to enjoy a technological advantage over any and all adversaries”:

“Fact: The Pentagon has nearly skipped a generation of modernization programs while, at the same time, failing to ‘transform’ U.S. forces for the future. The defense budget growth of the past decade was largely on consumables related to current operations. All of the defense cuts over the past two years mortgaged the future to pay for the present.”

“Today’s military flies the same basic planes (e.g., F-15, F-16 and F/A-18 fighters’ B=52, B-1 and B-2 bombers, and a variety of support aircraft) sails the same basic ships (e.g., Trident ballistic missile and Los Angeles-class attack submarines; Aegis-equipped destroyers and cruisers, Nimitz-class aircraft carriers), and employs the same basic ground systems (e.g., Abrams tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles, Black Hawk and Apache helicopters) that it did at the end of the Cold War.”

The former Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, twenty years ago!

Frank J. Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy and columnist for The Washington Times, recently warned that “History demonstrates that previous military drawdowns invited aggression by our enemies. After World War I, American drew down forces until the U.S. Army had fewer than 100,000 men in uniform. That weakness invited Nazi aggression in Europe and the imperial Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor. The post-Vietnam drawdown invited the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and proxy wars for Communist domination from Central America to Angola.”

In an analysis by Commander Bryan Clark, U.S. Navy (Ret) and Dr. Dan Whiteneck, written for the U.S. Naval Institute, the authors noted that, unlike the Reagan years that contributed to the Soviet collapse, “the Navy cannot afford to buy 15 or more ships each year.” Instead it “can afford to buy about ten and half of those are small combatants or support ships. As a result, the Fleet is now at 286 ships, down from 344 in 1998.”

For those who believe the homeland is safe, “the number of ships under way around the United States for homeland defense and training dropped from an average of 60 in 1998 to 20 today.”

Air Force data, as noted above, suggests that the fleet of aircraft being used today is in part an old one. A lot of aircraft will be retired, but the money for newer aircraft is going to be harder to come by. Fewer aircraft of all kinds means that the reach of the USAF will be shorter. It takes a long time to train a fighter or bomber pilot, a maintenance crew, and to provide the logistics to keep what we have airborne. No sensible person wants to contemplate what fighting a modern war would be without air superiority.

In January 2011, Spencer Ackerman reported that the Marines are in the line of budget cuts. “The Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle is dead. The Marines’ version of the F-35 is on a two-year time-out.”

The U.S. military has been fighting in Afghanistan since 2001 and in Iraq since 2003. Ackerman noted that “The stresses of a decade’s worth of constant deployment have taken their toil on both services (Army and Marine) in myriad ways: measured in suicide rates and post-traumatic stress, family cohesion, and the missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Increasing the size of the Army and Marines were (former Secretary of Defense) Gates’ way of mitigating those affects.”

Not only did the raising of the debt ceiling initiate the decision by Standard & Poor’s to downgrade the U.S. credit rating from AAA to AA+, a Heritage Foundation scholar, Kim Holmes, noted that the political deal incorporated spending cuts envisioned to be between 6 percent and 7.5 percent “in defense spending from the President’s budget request in February for fiscal years 2012 and 2013, respectively.”

“We will have to sacrifice the future security of all Americans,” said Ms. Holmes, “without actually getting at the cause of the debt crisis—namely, runaway spending on Social Security and other big social entitlements.”

Experts who devote years to studying the nation’s defense budget and realities know it is incredibly complex; far more than a brief look can begin to address. For example, part of the defense budget represents increasing health costs that include not only those injured in combat, but the growing number of retirees. Another part of the problem is the bizarre procurement procedures employed.

Then, too, there are new threats such as cyber-war and, as 9/11 demonstrated, non-state terrorism. What are we to make of the Obama administration’s Nuclear Posture Review that pledged the United States to not respond with nuclear weapons to a biological or chemical attack as long as the attacking nature was in compliance with the Non-Proliferation Treaty?

There are no easy answers and surely no easy choices, but my guess is that a politically correct military that is now required to accept homosexuals in its midst and will not even publicly identify the Fort Hood killer as a Muslim is in serious trouble, made worse by the reductions in its arsenal of weapons to fight current and future wars.

There will be savings as the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts wind down, but it would be a familiar and dangerous mistake to reduce defense expenditures, a favorite choice of Democrats. History demonstrates this is always unwise.

That’s a fact. America did not win the first Iraq war. That, too, is a fact. Iraq is set up, as we write these few comments, for its next dictator — with at least a couple of Iraqis preening themselves in the shadows just waiting for the moment, which will not be long in coming.

Look, the plain truth is – you cannot win a war while attempting to win the hearts and minds of those you are warring against! Until America understands this we will NEVER win another war!

To be successful in war you have to beat the snot out of your opponent through attrition and any other means at your disposal until he either has no troops left to put into the field against your forces, or he is so beaten that he loses the will to fight. The victor must make the price of going to war against him so costly any would-be enemy will think long and hard before firing that first shot. America doesn’t do that anymore. It is common knowledge that if you desire the rebuilding of your country — simply attack America!

Another important aspect of wining a war is to never take the civilian population off the list of targets. That may shock you. It should. But war is hell. People die – innocent people die, too. I repeat: war is hell!

It is nice to make an effort to avoid civilian causalities, but one must understand that it will prolong the war and make it imminently more costly in lives and treasure to win a conflict. A civilian population that is being decimated will put pressure on its government to end the war, even if that means surrender on any terms.

We did nearly everything wrong in Iraq. Rest assured, we will be forced to return combat troops to Iraq in the future. No matter what our national leaders try to tell us – the war in Iraq is not over, not nearly over. If this withdrawal is anything it is a time-out, a breather for our troops, nothing more. I hope the military brass has the good sense to leave a goodly portion of those troops in Kuwait, because they will be needed again — and soon.

We are making even worse mistakes in Afghanistan. We cannot win a war in Afghanistan without the use of nuclear weapons. I mean, of course, a decisive victory. The best we can hope for is some sort of agreement with the Afghans/Taliban. I expect that very thing is being worked on at this writing.

Just LOOK at Afghanistan. To begin with, the Afghans have very little to lose, period. The terrain in Afghanistan is unsuitable for a conventional war. We have had very limited success smashing those solid rock caves with even those powerful bunker buster bombs and missiles. Those Afghan mountain redoubts can be taken out using tactical nukes. If the US were set on victory in Afghanistan, we’d use those nukes. We would also wipe out their poppy fields and decimate the Taliban population, both the civilian and warrior class Taliban. We would take their lives, wholesale.

Unfortunately, our President sees himself as a citizen of the world FIRST and a citizen of the United States second. It is the first time in history that the President of the United States views himself as being a citizen of the country with which the military he commands is at war!

That can’t be good for any kind of REAL victory in Afghanistan. All this President wants out of Afghanistan — is the troops he commands. And – as soon as he can come to some sort of arrangement with the Taliban, He will pull the US Military out of Afghanistan, too.

You know, I doubt President Obama ever played organized football or baseball. He probably played that game the liberals love so much – soccer. I still contend that soccer is no game for Americans. American games don’t end in “ties.” That’s because Americans play to win.

Just like American football players and baseball players and basketball players are trained to win, the American military is trained to win… not tie with the enemy.

I don’t think Obama has any clue how humiliating it is to our troops to have them fight a war with one hand tied behind their backs and then, after spilling their blood at his command, order them to withdraw short off a victory. Oh, they will salute and comply with his commands, but he will have lost their respect and their trust for the remainder of his term as their Commander-in-Chief. (No wonder the democrats fear the military vote this November!)

America’s days in Afghanistan are numbered. Everybody knows it: Obama, the Taliban, the US troops in Afghanistan, and the American people. We all know it because we know this President has no taste for real conflict of any kind — political or military. Just look at all the “czars” he appointed so as to avoid conflict with the Senate. Look at his recess appointments made, we believe, for the same reason. If he can give a command and have his wishes fulfilled — fine. But – if he has to fight for it – forget about it. That is what we see in Iraq and what we will see soon in Afghanistan.

It is disgusting to see the one government organization, which really understands what honor is, the US Military, have their own honor tarnished by a Commander-in-Chief not worthy of the troops he commands.

Will The US Military Be Disenfranchised this November?

There is concern that Obama’s DOJ, under the leadership of Eric Holder, the US Attorney General, might not be enforcing the new Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act as vigorously as they should.

The MOVE Act, which was passed last October, is supposed to ensure that servicemen and women serving overseas have plenty of time to get in their absentee ballots. However, if the DOJ does not enforce this law by holding the states to compliance, thousands of ballots from US military personnel serving overseas, including in Iraq and Afghanistan, may not arrive back in the home state of the soldier, sailor, Airman, or Marine, in time to be counted in the November 2nd Mid-Term Election.

Eric Eversole, director of the Military Voter Protection Project, a new organization devoted to ensuring military voting rights has said: “It is an absolute shame that the section appears to be spending more time finding ways to avoid the MOVE Act, rather than finding ways to ensure that military voters will have their votes counted… ” Mr. Eversole continued: “The Voting Section seems to have forgotten that it has an obligation to enforce federal law, not to find and raise arguments for states to avoid these laws.” (SOURCE)

The MOVE act requires states to send absentee ballots to overseas military troops 45 days before an election, but a state can apply for a waiver if it can prove a specific “undue hardship” in enforcing it.

Senator Jon Cornyn, Republican of Texas, was one of the co-sponsors of the Move Act. On July 26th he wrote to Attorney General Eric Holder and complained that he is concerned that the DOJ is allowing states to opt out of compliance with the Move Act. In a statement to Fox News Senator Cornyn said: “Military voters have been disenfranchised for decades, and last year Congress acted.” Cornyn went on to say: “But according to recent information, the Department of Justice has expressed reluctance to protect the civil rights of military voters under the new law. All our men and women in uniform deserve a chance to vote this November, and the Obama administration bears responsibility for ensuring that they have it.”

Cornyn continued: “For far too long in this country, we have failed to adequately protect the right of our troops and their families to participate in our democratic process. The MOVE Act was supposed to end this sad history. The right to participate in democratic elections is fundamental to the American experience.” (SOURCE)

At least seven states, plus the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands, have filed requests for waivers with the USDOJ. If those waivers are granted those states will not have to send ballots to their servicemen and servicewomen overseas on time. That means, even if they DO receive their ballots and get them filled out and mailed back, they will not arrive in their home states in time to be counted.

The list of states, Districts, and US Territories asking for waivers: Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, the Virgin Islands, Washington, and District of Columbia. (SOURCE) (We believe this list to be incomplete as some news organizations are reporting as many as twelve states; others are reporting ten states, etc.)

Understand, it is the Department of Defense, which will make the final decision on whether the waivers will, or will not, be granted. BUT, it is the job of the Department of Justice to see that the law is enforced.

With the democrats set to receive a well deserved drubbing this November, it will not be surprising if those waivers are granted.

The MOVE ACT contains a waiver provision, which allows states to exempt out of the requirements by demonstrating an extreme emergency. BUT, that state must also submit a plan that provides sufficient time for military voters to have their vote counted.

Where is the outrage from the citizens of those states? Isn’t it past time to fire off a letter, an e-mail, or just pick up the phone and call the Secretary of State’s office in that state — or the state Board of Elections, and demand that they get those ballots to those US citizens who are putting their lives on the line – daily — to protect the right to vote for ALL Americans, including themselves.

There is something very wrong about disenfranchising a soldier serving his/her country overseas, especially in a time of war. As my father would have said: “If we can put a man on the moon, surely we can get a ballot to a soldier in the field and back in time to be counted.”

This is wrong, folks. Just plain WRONG!

Has Mexico Become Somalia?

If Republicans recapture the US Congress this November, one of the first orders of business should be to fence off our southern neighbor, Mexico.

For generations of Americans an old adage “Good fences make good neighbors” was repeated and passed on to following generations Americans. Somehow, the common sense of that old pearl of wisdom has been lost. But, I hasten to add that Americans living along the southern US border with Mexico have not forgotten it.

There is an full blown “insurgency” in our southern border states as Mexican dope terrorists engage in gun battles flinging rounds from their weapons across the border into American homes and schools and even public buildings as they wage war with their local and state police and among themselves.

The Mexican government is unable to bring anything approaching order to much of Mexico. Those willing to murder and maim hold the real power in Mexico and it will only grow worse – unless the US military steps in.

There is something wrong when America can send its military to the far corners of the world to restore order and safety to citizens in war torn nations but cannot bring itself to do the same to one of its closest neighbors, especially when the violence there has resulted in the deaths of so many Americans even on the US side of the border.

So, now that a good portion of our military is being brought home from the Middle East, we propose that the Commander-in-Chief direct the war planners at the Pentagon to draw up immediate plans for an invasion and occupation of Mexico. Once the violence there is brought to heel, the ‘feel good” democrats can begin their beloved program of nation building in a nation that needs it as badly as Iraq or Afghanistan.

Look, common sense says an invasion of Mexico is, for all practical purposes, a fait accompli. It is going to happen. We have been forced to do it a number of times in the past and the problems with Mexico today are every bit as serious, if not more, so than they were then.

In the meantime, we must, I repeat, we MUST build an effective barrier between the two nations. It must be a serious barrier, one that will incorporate lethality as a final result for anyone attempting to defeat it by climbing over it or tunneling under it.

The time is far past for the Border Patrol. We live in a period of history in which a government law enforcement agency cannot maintain the integrity of the border. We propose relegating the Border Patrol to processing anyone caught, alive, who may have managed to negotiate the fence and enter the country illegally.

We also propose the “Catch and Release” program be ended, forthwith, and all persons caught in the country illegally be placed in interment camps where they will be detailed to work on road projects and public works projects until the country they came from can be pacified and brought back into the family of civilized nations. They should be released with the warning that should they be caught a second time entering the US illegally, the sentence will be death.

Once the Border Patrol is pulled back and relieved of their duties of patrolling the border, THAT job should be handed over to the regular military forces with orders to seal the border with whatever means necessary — including the use of deadly force.

Enough is enough. It is time the US brings to bear the full weight of its military force on Mexico. We have tolerated the thumbing of their noses at the sovereignty of our country for far too long. Mexico is now a threat to our national security as surely as al Qaida and should be treated as such.

We have warned numerous times that if the US government does not act to bring order to the border with Mexico, American civilians, fed up with living where their lives and the lives of their families are in constant danger, will take up arms and do what Americans have always done, protect themselves.

The war being waged on our southern border is not going to get any better until the US military is ordered into to Mexico to quell the violence and force order at the point of a military weapon.

Yes, the whole thing IS disagreeable and one I don’t like contemplating. But the “can’t we all just get along’ diplomacy of the Obama Regime is obviously not working and has, in fact, led us to this untenable situation where only military force can bring order.

We will soon have battle-hardened troops returning from Iraq. These are ideal troops to send into Mexico after a few weeks of rest and relaxation.

The longer the US dithers and waits, the mess is only going to get worse and more lives, both Mexican and American are going to be lost.

It is time, once again, to invade Mexico.

That to-day holy Bethlehem should shelter men and women of noble birth, who once abounded in wealth and are now beggars?”

St. Jerome, 406 A.D.

By JB Williams Sunday, June 20, 2010

No matter the political agenda of any American citizen, one reality should send shivers down every American´s spine. The Obama administration has made it known that according to their form of “justice,” NO soldier or citizen has “legal standing” to question anything about Obama, his many corrupt friends, his anti-American policies or his full court press to destroy all things American.

http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/24471

Commentary

“The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American’s freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizen of his plight.”

- John F. Kennedy, speaking at Columbia University, 10 days before his assassination.

“A Government that makes peaceful revolution impossible, makes armed revolution inevitable.”
- John F. Kennedy

“An Act to Provide a Government for the District of Columbia.” This Act by the 41st Congress in 1871 changed our Constitutional Republic to a Corporation, designated by the U.S. Code Title 28 3002 (A) (B) (C).

“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people (e.g., by pitting the cooperation-oriented political left against the competition-oriented political right), until the wealth is aggregated in the hands of a few, and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of the war.”

- Abraham Lincoln

Since the worst nightmare of Abraham Lincoln has now come to fruition, it is quite clear that the corporations have been enthroned and must be dethroned by a deliberate and revolutionary people. The time for talk is over and the time for action is NOW.

“Ever since the Civil War, Congress has allowed the bankers to control financial legislation. The membership of the Finance Committee in the Senate [now the Banking and Currency Committee] and the Committee on Banking and Currency in the House have been made up chiefly of bankers, their agents, and their attorneys…In this way the committees have been able to control legislation in the interests of the few.”

- Congressman Charles A. Lindberg, Sr.

The American people require the United States military to step forward to remove the communist government of the international bankers. In short, a military coup is what is now required to remove the Great Imposter and Manchukuo puppet emperor of the Council on Foreign Relations from power.

The American people are screaming for this action of a military coup, lest an open shooting war of revolution transpire and the spilling of blood ensue.

The orderly restoration of the republic to the American people will be accomplished by the United States military, without bloodshed and it will indeed “preempt” the contingency plans of the communist regime in Washington, from calling in modern-day Hessians in the form of United Nations troops to police America´s city streets.

The American people place their trust in the United States armed services for the sons and daughters of this nation compose that assemblage and America also clearly trusts these military officers who have boldly put their lives and sacred honor on the line.

The international bankers have emerged from the shadows with their unwitting third world corporate shock troops–the guest workers–and this Mexican occupation army is in the process of annexation of American territory for Mexico. In addition, an illegal alien enemy, posing as the president of the United States, is in the process of thwarting the people of Arizona and 18 other states of the Union from enforcing the Constitution by the same legal machinations he used to legally avoid the constitutional requirement of his office.

While it is true the American people have no standing as a vassal state of the United Nations, under a debt-based, fractional reserve banking system; this fuzzy math equation can be changed overnight by a military coup on Washington D.C.

The New World Order of the international bankers can be sent back to the storybook pages of the novel created by George Orwell called 1984. This can be accomplished by military coup and the ascendancy of Big Brother may be crushed by a people–both North and South– united behind the United States military.

This draft is to inform the dear reader that the South has now officially risen, as the legitimate heir to the government of the United States of America, which has been hijacked by the corporate-owned “Yankee Nation,” with its attendant attitude that these citizens of the United States of America are “Rebels” and outlaws with no standing before a tyrannical government under which they have suffered a long train of abuses.

This carpetbagger mentality is un-American and serves only the rule by oligarchy. Americans must never be subjugated by their own government, for they are that government.

The present Rise of the South in the year 2010, is the continuing saga of the Second American Revolution, which has been percolating since the year 1861, when the international bankers were so successful at pitting Americans against one another with the Civil War they created, in retaliation for being forcibly removed from holding the nation´s purse strings by President Andrew Jackson.

“The depression was the calculated ‘shearing’ of the public by the World Money powers, triggered by the planned sudden shortage of supply of call money in the New York money market…The One World Government leaders and their ever close bankers have now acquired full control of the money and credit machinery of the U.S. via the creation of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.”

- Curtis Dall, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s son-in-law, as quoted from his book, “My Exploited Father-in-Law”

These bankers of the Rothschild banking dynasty–who have been so adept at creating wars and depressions behind the scenes– promised the destruction of this republic with an 1865 London Times editorial directed against Lincoln´s debt-free Greenbacks:
“If that mischievous financial policy which had its origin in the North American Republic [i.e., honest Constitutionally authorized debt-free money] should become indurated down to a fixture, then that government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off its debts and be without a debt (to the International Bankers). It will have all the money necessary to carry on its commerce. It will become prosperous beyond precedent in the history of the civilized governments of the world. The brains and wealth of all countries will go to North America. That government must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on the globe!”

George Washington once called guns the “teeth of democracy” and the United States military is the one holding the big guns which are required for this Second American Revolution.

The American people must become the major shareholders of the private corporation calling itself “Federal Reserve,” which holds the American people in bondage to usury.

The American people–which is indeed the United States military–must go forth and seize the ill-gotten gains of what President Andrew Jackson called a “den of vipers,” by expropriating the stolen wealth of the American people– who have been drugged and swindled by these parasitic bankers with a debt-based banking system.

Power of the purse must be restored to the American people, so that the country may live and thrive.

This is the larger strategic vision of the United States military which must be addressed,if we are to win the war for the survival of our republic. The narcissistic puppet emperor and Muslim usurper who colludes with the Mexican Reconquista, is in truth a relatively minor player when all of the vast strategic implications are considered, on which will hinge the very survival of this republic.

Manchukuo puppet emperors hold no personal or spiritual power; they function on what they have been allowed–which is figurehead status. It is time for Resident Barack Hussein Obama´s White House vacation to forcibly end. He deserves no honor or consideration.

What can the individual patriotic American do when the government plan is to pick each American off, piecemeal-style with a Ruby Ridge or Waco style operation, which involves the confiscation of individual firearms? Failing that, there are small arms treaties sanctioned by the U.N. to de-fang the teeth of democracy.

A revolt by citizen militias is rather impractical in this day and age, especially since the corporate-owned media influences public opinion by painting American patriots as right-wing extremists.

Americans must now remember the Rebel heritage bequeathed to us by the Founding Fathers and actively work to restore American government, industry and primacy on the world stage. The American people are the rightful stewards of their own self-determination and Manifest Destiny as free men.

The Founding Fathers often wondered if succeeding generations of Americans would realize the great gift of freedom which had been granted by their very great sacrifice and struggle. These Guardian Spirits of the United States of America now look down on the epic struggle of the present generation, with the foreknowledge that the United States of America will prevail and deliver all nations from tyranny. This deliverance will not come in the form of “nation-building” police actions, at the behest of the corporate-owned storefront called “United Nations,” but by direct and affirmative action by the United States military to depose the enemy within the gates from power, and topple the communist regime of the Obama administration.

The Obama tenure is a direct contradiction to Lenin’s thesis that any cook can run a country, for the glaring incompetence and treason of this administration is transparent.

So much for “transformational figures.”

The American people will define the survival of the nation-state and the eclipse of the financial feudal order, which still rides its financial steed roughshod over the sweat and blood-soaked, tilled fields of the American worker, who has been reduced to serfdom.

This serfdom was installed by the chains of usury, the bright-shining lie of free trade and outsourcing of American industrial might abroad, while the importation of guest worker slaves into both hemispheres of the planet has continued unabated, to destroy the cultures and countries which are forced to host them.

Americans must now gird themselves for the decisive battle which will determine whether we will live as free men, or be enslaved forever at the hands of the oligarchy, with its Ministry of Truth, which is the Father of Lies.

The Founding Fathers continue to watch over their noble experiment from heaven and they have left their sacred thoughts which we can penetrate by their writings. The truths they have left us are enough for us to allow ourselves to become the physical vehicles for enforcing their liberation of all of mankind from the wiles of the international bankers.

In short, the Founding Fathers live and breathe through our collective body.

If the United States of America ever becomes reduced to the Last Mohican; that man will be so fired by freedom that every fiber of his being will be impervious to mind-penetrating drugs and thought control, for every atom of his physical vehicle will be stamped: “Made in America.”

Let us now topple these bankers and their stooge, before they topple our republic and bring it to heel, the same way they did to Germany and Russia. The individual nation-state can be restored to all countries by the United States military, in fulfillment of the grand design which animated this nation´s founders to resist the Rothschild Bank of England, during the Revolutionary War. We the People cannot deliver the nations of the world by exerting our own brand of tyranny called “nation-building,” which is nothing more than corporate-controlled government running up war debt charges, the same way a hospital bilks the unwitting patient by padding the hospital bill with spurious charges. The mission to be accomplished by this nation is defined by this statement:

“Convinced that the republican is the only form of government which is not eternally at open or secret war with the rights of mankind, my prayers & efforts shall be cordially distributed to the support of that we have so happily established. It is indeed an animating thought that, while we are securing the rights of ourselves & our posterity, we are pointing out the way to struggling nations who wish, like us, to emerge from their tyrannies also. Heaven help their struggles, and lead them, as it has done us, triumphantly thro’ them.”

– Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence, 3rd US President.

Source: Letter to William Hunter, 11 March 1790

The United States military can now take a cue on what should be done, from one whose visage graces Mount Rushmore:
“I took the Canal Zone and let Congress debate; and while the debate goes on, the canal does also.”

Our Warrior Class

I come from a generation, just as several before it, that was drafted into military service. The Draft, conscription, goes back to the days of the Civil War and, before that, it was understood that able-bodied men would serve in militias.

After the Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941, many American men lined up around the corner to volunteer to fight the Japanese. Others would be dispatched to the European theatre of war to fight the Nazis.

Still others waited to be drafted into service. During the years leading up to Pearl Harbor many Americans simply wanted to stay out of the Asian conflict that had begun with the Japanese invasion of China many years earlier and the European conflict that had begun when Hitler invaded Poland in 1939. That changed in 1941.

The “greatest generation” fought and won. They did it by being absolutely merciless toward our enemies because that is the only real rule of war. Kill them before they kill us. Lose the war and you are their possession, their slaves.

World War Two was all-out war with civilians dying in the hundreds of thousands because the people’s will to fight on had to be extinguished. Dresden was bombed to dust; Berlin became a shell of shattered buildings. As American forces waited to invade the homeland of Japan, President Truman ordered the bombing of Hiroshima and, when the Japanese emperor and generals still refused to meet the terms of unconditional surrender, he bombed Nagasaki. World War Two ended.

I often tell people that the history of mankind is the history of war. It is always the history of winners and losers. It may take a short breath, but war is a constant throughout history and in the life of each new generation.

Shortly after the end of World War Two in 1945, the Korean War began when North Korea invaded South Korea on June 25, 1950. That war drew Americans back to a new battlefield until, on July 27, 1953, a truce was signed. The two Koreas are technically still in a state of war because no peace treaty exists.

Then, of course, for most Americans today there was the Vietnam War. Whether of the generation who fought it or those born after it, the Vietnam War remains the war we lost. It remains a cauldron of debate over its conduct. What emerged from that war, however, was an all-volunteer military, a warrior class.

Over the years of the Iraq-Afghanistan conflict I had occasion to write that these were the wrong wars in the wrong places, that the U.S. was wasting its treasure and young men (and women) there. I think, on reflection that I was wrong.

I think, now, that even this veteran of the U.S. Army, drafted in the 1960s, simply grew weary of these wars and neglected the broad history of conflicts dating back to biblical times.

A friend of mine, a professional soldier who served for 25 years, had this to say:

“When I first came in, the drill sergeants, platoon sergeants and sergeants majors were all ‘Nam vets and they all told us the same thing; we are an all-volunteer Army, none of us were drafted; having served in a conscript Army they all said that we wouldn’t want to be in conflict with a bunch of draftees who did not want to be there. They told us about disciplinary problems in the draftee military you would not believe.”

“The war we are currently engaged in is The One Hundred Years War and the sooner the American people get used to that, the better. I do not differentiate between the ‘Iraq War’ and the ‘Afghanistan War’; they are simply different theaters of the same war.”

In his new book, “Kaboom”, Matt Gallagher traces his transformation from an ROTC college graduate to his battlefield experiences in Iraq. He wrote:

“As I watched the platoon joke, clown, and ramble their way through the holiday dinner, I couldn’t help but think about the country that had produced them. These were the men in the flesh that society only celebrates in the abstract.”

“The NCOs had served in the army long enough to stop caring about the whims of the American culture they protected so effectively; the joes were just removed enough to not fully recognize how the same society that reared us had detached itself from us the day we signed our enlistment papers. In a voluntary military, we fought for the nation, not with it.”

Americans, most of whom honor our troops, have not had our lives personally touched by the Mideast conflicts. The way of life they are fighting to protect has barely been altered as they put their lives on the line every day in a combat zone or service in any of the branches.

Under such circumstances, it is easy to forget there are countless enemies, mostly Muslim, striving to bring down America and to kill us in the same fashion as they killed some three thousand of us on a single day at the beginning of this decade.

Withdrawing from conflict zones in Iraq and Afghanistan may seem like a good idea, an end to our casualties in battle, but those who are there, our warrior class, know that it would just be a brief cessation of what will be a very long war we cannot dare to lose.

Onward Christian Soldiers

The latest story making the rounds of the liberal press is the news that Trijicon, a civilian manufacturer of optical sights based in Wixom, Michigan, have for sometime imprinted Bible reference codes at the ends of their device serial numbers. In the above photograph you should be able to make out JN8:12 at the end of a longer number. That would signify John chapter 8 verse 12 to any alert Christian.

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Other verses that have been reported imprinted on the Trijicon sights include the following:

2PE1:19; “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in you hearts.” 2nd Peter 1:19

2COR4:6; “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, hath shined in our hearts to give the light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2nd Corinthians 4:6

Note that all of these Biblical quotations speak about “the light” which is pretty clever considering that Trijicon produces both thermal and light enhancing optical sights that increase target acquisition and hit probability in low light conditions.

The story first broke in the mains stream press at ABC news in a on line article dated January 18, 2010, “U.S. Military Weapons Inscribed With Secret ‘Jesus’ Bible Codes“. The original story showed up first at a blog dedicated to shooting, Accurate Shooter, in a short blurb with photos entitled, “Trijicon’s Subtle Christian Messages“. Who say liberals don’t enjoy shooting sports? Whoever let the cat out of the bag must have been a follower of Accurate Shooter. Most good Christian’s, who would have been the ones most likely to spot the inscribed Bible passages, would probably have felt fortunate to have the word of God imprinted on their sight and have clearly kept this knowledge pretty quiet or it would have come out years ago. (Accurate shooter is a pretty good shooting blog by the way and I am glad to find it.) Anyway this whole encoded bible message thing begs the question is it a good thing or a bad thing to have your weapon’s optical sight sanctified with references to Biblical quotations?

I myself consider myself something of a militant Christian and would personally be comforted to have a sight with one of these Bible codes inscribed on it. Other Christians, atheist, and believers of other religions would probably be horrified that a weapon of war is marked such. This of course is an echo of the culture war, which by the way the Christians pretty much lost in America decades ago, as to the very nature of our United States. President Obama has certainly let everyone know in no uncertain terms that the USA is no longer a Christian Euro-centric nation. Thanks to the 1965 Immigration Act and our governments complete refusal to enforce our borders we will never be a majority white Christian nation ever again.

One thing I can tell you with certainty, regardless of my personal feelings, is that it is a very bad thing for the US military to have allowed these hidden Bible citations to be inscribed on any of their equipment. Like it or not the United States is riding a tiger trying to maintain order across the planet. Our military men and women are stationed in over 130 countries and only a few dozen of these countries are majority Christian. Our Islamic enemies already recruit foot soldiers and appeal to popular opinion by portraying the US involvement in the Middle East as a Christian Crusade against all Muslims. The knowledge now that the sights our Marines use to make kill shots to the heads of our Muslim opponents at ranges of 300 meters and better will certainly be used by our enemies to further inflame the populations of the countries we are occupying against us. This latest revelation will without a doubt cause the deaths and injuries of more of our troops.

Also it must be taken into consideration that we are probably equipping some of our Muslim allies with these sights which is an incredibly stupid thing to do. The spark that set off the great Indian Mutiny of 1857 that caused the deaths of thousands of British colonialist and their allies was the issuance of greased cartridges that the Indian troopers had to bite the ends off of to allow the gunpowder and bullet in the paper cartridge to be loaded in their guns. As with any colonial enterprise there were many other issues behind the greater mutiny but the enemies of the British colonial regime were quick to see the propaganda value of the greased cartridges.

The enemies of the British told the Muslim soldiers that the paper cartridges were greased with lard made of pig fat. The Hindus soldiers were told that the cartridges were greased with tallow or beef fat. Early incidents were reportedly started by unidentified Indian laborers who were taunting soldiers that by biting the cartridges they were losing their caste and defiling themselves. These “laborers” were probably “agents provocateur” of the conspirators who were attempting to ignite a rebellion.

The British claimed at first that the cartridges were greased with vegetable oil and later tried to issue ungreased cartridges with the instructions that the Indian soldiers could grease them with whatever substance they found suitable. Their very willingness to change to ungreased cartridges seemed to the Sepoys to be confirmation that their fears of “polluted” cartridges were true. The government’s reaction was too little too late and soon they found that the very colonial troops on whom they depended to enforce their rule over the Indian sub-continent were in armed revolt against them. Ironically the new cartridges for a newly issued rifle, the Pattern 1853 Enfield Rifle, made locally at the Dum Dum arsenal near Calcutta had not even been issued yet.

How prevalent are these sights? Currently Trijicon’s largest single contract with the U.S. military is a $660 million dollar contract with the US Marine Corps to produce 800,000 optical sights. Trijicon also has some smaller contracts to produce thermal sights for Navy weapons systems. How many there are actually out there is almost immaterial as at this point much of the damage has already been done. Even the rumor if it were completely untrue would be enough to give the Islamists new ammunition to use to stir up hatred, dissent and violence against our military forces. Trijicon was dishonest to mark these Bible citations at the ends of their device identification numbers and their contract with the military should be canceled and they should also be fined.

One of the first general orders to all of our military personnel serving in Iraq and Afghanistan is that there is to be absolutely no proselytizing of any religion. This unnecessary news event will spread rapidly across the world and will make what is already a hard job harder. Trijicon makes excellent optical sights that are a tactical asset to our troops who are lucky enough to be supplied with them but their decision to mark these pieces of equipment with hidden Bible citations is inexcusably stupid. Counter-insurgency 101 FAIL.
