The following paper was written to shed light on many popular misconceptions about the countercultural revolution of the 1960’s. Such an effort requires not only actual experience within the ranks of the counterculture, but encompasses the will to take time out from one’s normal course of daily affairs, to finally address the real villain in the blame game of where America went terribly wrong.

God forbid the conservative bullet train be derailed by its failure to absorb what actually has transpired in America during the last forty-plus years.

America blew its mind when Professor Timothy Leary urged Americans to: “Turn-on; tune-in and drop out.”

This writer begs to differ with Mr. Buchanan’s assertions regarding both the counterculture and America that “there is no going home again.”

Like Dorothy in the film, “The Wizard of Oz,” one can indeed go home again.

Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest, found himself loving the same old Star-Spangled Banner and singing its praises once again, after the Civil War.

Mr. Buchanan has been laboring long and hard on behalf of all Americans in the vineyards of conservatism. He has been essentially a lone voice for many years. But now this somnolent nation is fully awake and ready to dissect and spell-out the problem for clueless politicians, thanks to the diligent efforts Mr. Buchanan has made in our stead in defining the problem.

Surely Buchanan must now be happy and proud that the nation finally understands and supports those concepts he has promulgated down through the years, through his many excellent books and articles–not to mention his service in three presidential administrations.

It is hoped that Mr. Buchanan can now rest a little easier and enjoy the supporting fire for a change.

The question has been posed by Buchanan, regarding what it is we wish to conserve as a nation.

The answer to this question is obvious. This nation wishes to conserve its fiscal sanity and territorial integrity, while under full frontal assault from the “Establishment.”

This sinister force committed a neat little murder of our republic and placed the smoking gun in the hands of a generation which was “out-to-lunch,” smoking dope at the nude beach and cultivating its hair in the manner of Texans—”like a head of lettuce.”

Americans have always been pitted against one another, in a Civil War mentality. That social schism manifests today as the failure of the GOP to present a united front on the so-called “immigration” question and label it for what it truly is; invasion of America.

Those who talk of “comprehensive immigration reform” would be better employed running naked through the forest, as the true definition escapes them.

“Comprehensive” immigration reform is recognition of the fact that Mexico has a 40 million-man occupation army on American soil. That army prosecutes war with the “anchor baby.”

Mexico must be forced to sign a second treaty of surrender, before it is granted any concessions of a guest worker program with new rules.

We are in a state of war with Mexico which is a genocidal race war against Anglo-Saxon America.

Conservative leaders must make a true contract with America, for liberation of the American people from debt slavery, by reform of the banking system.

The American people must own their own money and outlaw usury as a direct threat to the national security.

In order to define a social problem, it is politic to determine precisely who or what is the “Establishment.”

That organization is NOT mom or dad, telling us to get a haircut.

While it is obvious to any sane person that the educational establishment in this country is clearly a Marxist bastion and that many so-called “professors” are in reality subversive communists; the educational system is but one tentacle on the octopus of the central bank, which squeezes the lifeblood out of this republic.

Mechista professors–who openly suborn treason against the United States of America, in this Second Mexican War–have taken the place of Timothy Leary, in poisoning the minds of American youth and politicians with the fantastic notion that it is “politically correct” for America to acquiesce to the Mexican invasion and even provide old age pensions and medical care for Mexican nationals, from cradle to grave.

That is Mexico’s function, according to unshakeable Tea Party principles, which stand for the rights of American seniors, over those of alien invaders.

Now “comprehensive immigration reform” has been “comprehensively” defined. Are the politicians still enthusiastic about its passage?

The genesis of this cultural genocide against the white race in America, can be traced to Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.

Kennedy promised the senate it would not alter the racial make-up of this nation.

The multicultural model then became a tool for communists to impose world-wide Marxist revolutionary ideals. Their intent was to make extinct the American model for worldwide revolution.

The American vision, is to ensure the survival of the nation-state concept over the old/new feudal order, thereby ensuring human freedom for all mankind from the oligarchy in all its guises.

Who is to blame for the many ills of America? Is it truly Her people or a particular generation which destroyed our solid foundation?

The ultimate blame may be laid at the feet of our own intelligence agency for many of the ills of society, for it was the CIA which introduced LSD-25 into America and sent Her on a mind-bending trip, which has been long and quite strange.

The former head of “The Agency,” President George H.W. Bush, sent America on the strangest trip of all when he encouraged Americans to “henceforth” pledge allegiance to the New World Order of the international bankers and their phony storefront; the United Nations.

“One August 1989 morning in Kennebunkport, Maine, Pres. Bush (Sr) took his national security adviser, Brent Scowcroft, for a ride on the presidential speed boat, Fidelity. Four hours later, the president came ashore with a ringing slogan that Scowcroft had offered: ‘The New World Order.’ Ever since, the goal of a ‘new world order’ has been the theme of Bush’s Foreign policy pronouncements.”—-LA Times Feb 24, 1991

The American people are waiting for clarification as to what our former president meant and if he has since replaced his grand vision of global government with a more mundane, pragmatic view of our national survival.

What is in the true national interest, is a sound money system.

It is hoped that in the face of overwhelming evidence, our politicians will “henceforth” understand the American people are under full frontal assault of invasion.

This invasion is not confined to North America, but manifests in the Eastern Hemisphere as well, where a
similar awakening has already occurred. Many European heads of state have denounced “multiculturalism” as a failure.

This third world invasion against Western Civilization in both hemispheres of the planet, is prosecuted by people with their own agenda of conquest in mind, whether it be “jihad” or “La Reconquista.” These unwitting corporate shock troops of the Third World, come at the behest of the power elite banking order. This order manages events behind the scenes.

No discussion is complete without at least mentioning America’s greatest threat, which is Red China (PRC).

Western Civilization is caught in a pincer movement of guest workers and banking swindlers, who exact modern-day Dane geld from the American people, euphemistically called “bailouts”–part of the Newspeak of Big Brother.

Those banking institutions which are “too big to fail,” must be allowed to fall flat on their collective face.

This tribute paid to robber barons as corporate welfare, must be channeled back to the American homeland for nation-building, rather than being utilized to extinguish fires created by the bankers.

Do our politicians finally understand what constitutes an “entitlement program?”

It is time for banking reform to head the list, as a top national priority for the nation.

The value of the dollar was deliberately destroyed under the inept Federal Reserve Bank, which must now be fired forever. This is the number one issue on which foreign and domestic policy depends.

The current deficit was created by bankers, as a master plan to induce the fall of the republic.

This “fuzzy math,” became a formula for the end of the nation-state concept, to enable the ascendancy of Big Brother oligarchy to rule instead, thereby depriving the people of self-governance and imposing “implied consent” over an ostensibly free people.

This debt slavery of the American people to usury is the fortunes of war. Sooner or later, a battle must be fought and it is the peoples of the world against the banks, led by that “shining city on a hill.”

In 1991, Strobe Talbott–who served as the Deputy Secretary of State from 1994 to 2001–predicted the demise of the nation-state, when he said: “All countries are basically social arrangement…No matter how permanent and even sacred they may seem at any one time, in fact they are artificial and temporary…within the next hundred years, nationhood as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority.”

It was NOT the kids popping LSD tabs in the redwoods, who inflicted the great national nightmare from which our country is still reeling.

Their counterparts in irresponsibility, were busy celebrating pagan festivities in other parts of the forest at Bohemian Grove, making grand plans for reunification of the United States within the British Empire–under rule by vested interests–thereby ending a 235 year experiment in human freedom called “The United States of America.”

The power elite controls the media; the courts; academia; trade unions and virtually every facet of American life.

This republic is in a vise-like death grip of slavery to the international bankers, with the direct collusion of our national leadership.

Our leaders have comported themselves as quislings, in their naïve and mistaken belief that global government; global currency and turning America into a multicultural, Marxist zoo, must be the manifest destiny of a revolutionary and deliberate people.

“Let’s play hardball…” in the war for our national existence!

There is no need to fear the Central Intelligence Agency, as thousands of great American patriots are members of this august institution. However, it might be wise to realize that the ranks have been infiltrated by those who serve a global master, to dupe American presidents.

American icon, Clint Eastwood obliquely dealt with the subject in the artistic film masterpiece and 1973 police thriller: “Magnum Force.”

Eastwood’s film character, police detective “Dirty Harry” Callahan, had great difficulty in ascertaining who was friend or foe. This manifested during a police shooting competition at the target practice range.

Citizens of our nation, likewise are confounded in trying to determine which individual stands with the United States of America and who stands with the international bankers.

Uncle Sam looked into the mirror one day and saw Freddy Krueger staring back at him, when he finally realized that the cancer of world institutions–created by robber barons and funded by the American taxpayer–had metastasized into every tissue of the national body. Magnum Force.

Let George Washington himself answer this question for the George Washington of Our Age, who has an inquiring mind:

The solution is now obvious what any conservative–or liberal, for that matter–must do to save our country. The solution lies in a sound currency and a return of power-of-the purse to the American people.

President Thomas Jefferson called for this measure over two hundred years ago, yet Jefferson’s mandate remains unfulfilled.

The Federal Reserve has been a poor steward with our dollar and should be taxed by the American people out-of-existence.

This robust action, must also coincide with the imposition of tariffs on all foreign imports, to return our factors of production to the homeland.

No more outsourcing. No more Marxist free trade.

The Greatest Generation took on the Axis powers. The Greater Generation now takes on the entire planet, in its bid to defend what remains of our Anglo-Saxon culture and nation-state.

Shall the United States of America remain a vassal and client state of the United Nations, or will We the People, regain our status as Supreme Shogun of the Planet, over the money power?

This is quite a daunting task for ordinary citizens who are former members of the counterculture—to pick up the banner of the fallen—after a steady diet of mind-bending drugs in their youth and mind-bending politicians in their advanced years.

Lawmakers can pass a bill into law, which is in excess of 2,000 pages without actually reading it, as they merely wait to find out what’s in it, but only after its passage.

The “attorney general,” could not even be bothered to read a sixteen page bill, before passing judgment on the nation as being “racist.”

America has become a laughing stock to the world under the nightmare Obama regime, which comports itself as a tattle-tale before the United Nations.

This writer’s mother once made a remark, while watching an old movie from the 1940’s on the AMC movie channel: “Were we really that naïve?”

The answer for this now-departed soul is: “Yes, you were and so were we.”

American culture was destroyed not by her people, but by her leaders.

In the early 1980s, one of the books I read in college that eventually converted me from Democratic socialism to conservatism was “The Naked Communist” (1958) by Cleon Skousen.

The 45 communist goals Skousen documented over 50 years ago reads like today’s newspaper, but most people are either too ignorant (“I didn’t know”), apathetic (“I don’t care”) or egocentric (“I want power”) to understand that since FDR both political parties have essentially morphed into one leviathan hypocrisy. America has devolved into a servile welfare state where more and more of its citizens are victims of voluntary slavery to the federal government.

Examine this simple syllogism below from the mouths of communism’s forefathers:

• Marx: Democracy is the road to socialism;
• Lenin: Democracy is indispensable to socialism. The goal of socialism is communism;
• Marx: The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism.

The logic is both seductively wicked and complete. America’s Founding Fathers hated democracy, calling it “mobocracy” or rule by the mob, and considered it one of the most immoral forms of government ever conceived by mankind. Karl Marx exploited the grotesqueries of democracy and crony capitalism in his writings and understood that these economic policies promote class warfare and socialism and that socialism is merely a euphemism for communism.

Recent examples of the government taking over the means of production is President Obama turning GM, General Motors, into Government Motors in 2009, Obamacare, the Wall Street, union and mortgage-industry bailouts.

U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war and U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war

Conservative intellectual Ann Coulter wrote, “There are only two choices with savages: Fight or run. Democrats always want to run, but they dress it up in meaningless catchphrases like ‘diplomacy,’ ‘détente,’ ‘engagement,’ ‘multilateral engagement,’ ‘multilateral diplomacy,’ ‘containment’ and ‘going to the UN.’”

Democratic socialists and RINO Republicans irrationally believe the Marxist aphorism, “The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism,” but Reagan championed the idea, “Peace through strength.” Victory is the only way for America to fight an intractable foe like Western Marxism, communism and its fascist cousin, Islam. Appeasement has dominated American foreign policy since the Korean War – which has purposely crippled our military readiness. We fear nuclear war instead of making our enemies fear the United States.

Permit free trade between all nations regardless of communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war

Crony capitalism and many in the GOP demand unrestricted free trade, even with the devil himself, without allusions to moral considerations. This radical openness policy to communism started under Nixon, who opened the door of the West to China in the 1970s, and, in the 1990s, Clinton, who treacherously gave away U.S. military secrets to China. Forty years later, China now rivals America militarily, holds most of America’s debt, which they use to manipulate our economy by artificially inflating the Chinese yuan while deflating the American dollar. China and Russia aggressively plan to remove the dollar as the world’s currency.

With fanatical zeal that would impress demigods like Darwin, Nietzsche, Justice O.W. Holmes, Trotsky and Hitler, American Progressivism has for over 130 years aggressively dismantled, brick by brick, every aspect of our fundamental natural rights founded under God, natural law and the original intent of the constitutional framers. A major part of this strategy is for utopian socialists to regulate our constitutional rights into oblivion and make us all slaves to the omnipotent socialist State ruled by a small oligarchy of overseers. President Obama’s handpicked Cesare Mori is regulatory czar Cass Sunstein, whose fascist motto is: There is no liberty without dependency.

To give you an idea of the utter diabolical ideas of this Marxist academic, look at his 2008 book “Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness,” where Sunstein and co-author Richard H. Thaler argued to expand the current organ-donor policy – that unless a patient has explicitly chosen to be an organ donor, either on his driver’s license or with a donor card, the doctors assume that the person did not want to donate and therefore do not harvest his organs. Thaler and Sunstein want to reinterpret this as “explicit consent.”

In America, if a corpse doesn’t have the liberty to be buried in peace without legions of ghoulish, body-snatching bureaucrats stealing grandma’s liver, kidneys or eyeballs, then what freedom and constitutional rights do you think those of us who are alive will enjoy? … None!

In a revelatory article by my WND colleague on the unholy pact between Obama, Sunstein and Soros, Aaron Klein wrote the following:

… [I]n April 2005, Sunstein opened up a conference at Yale Law School entitled, “The Constitution in 2020,” which sought to change the nature and interpretation of the Constitution by that year. That event was sponsored by Soros’ Open Society Institute as well as by the Center for American Progress, which is led by John Podesta, who served as co-chair of Obama’s presidential transition team. Podesta’s Center is said to be highly influential in helping to craft White House policy.

The Yale event on the Constitution was also sponsored by the American Constitution Society, or ACS, which has been described as a group meant to counter the work of the Federalist Society, which has been at the forefront of the push for a more conservative judiciary since its launch in 1982. The ACS is the main organization behind the movement to ensure a more “progressive” Constitution, having received more than $2,201,500 from Soros’ Open Society since 2002.

Attorney General Holder served on the ACS board of directors.

Sunstein wrote a blog entry just before that 2005 conference in which he explained he “will be urging that it is important to resist, on democratic grounds, the idea that the document should be interpreted to reflect the view of the extreme right-wing of the Republican Party.” The tyrannous effect of Sunstein’s coup d’état will be to remake the U.S. Constitution into a socialist communist document without having to fire one bullet, or get one vote in Congress.

In his 2005 book, “The Second Bill of Rights,” Sunstein outlines the diabolical parameters of this new communist bill of rights:

• The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;
• The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;
• The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return that will give him and his family a decent living;
• The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;
• The right of every family to a decent home;
• The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;
• The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident and unemployment;
• The right to a good education.

Sunstein’s contemptible communist propaganda isn’t new. Remember that in 1944, Democrat-socialist President Franklin Roosevelt proposed a Second Bill of Rights. Sunstein apparently plagiarized many of his ideas from FDR and the 1977 Soviet Constitution.

Let me be clear, professor Sunstein is one of the most despicable academics I’ve ever studied who is still alive. What is most reprehensible about Czar Sunstein and the 36-plus books he has written is that not only does he demonstrates an utter contempt for our Constitution, but he also takes absolute delight in using that same Constitution the framers designed to protect us from traitors of his ilk to destroy the capitalist free market and natural law that made this country exceptional above all others.

Sunstein, Soros, Podesta, Obama and other Democratic socialists are in the process of turning our Constitution into a suicide pact.

Sunstein’s wife, Samantha Power, is the National Security Council special adviser to Obama on human rights. It was Power who reportedly influenced Obama in his decision to invade Libya despite the fact that America has no vital national interests inside that giant sandbox.

But for the national lobotomy this great country has apparently suffered after 160 years of state propaganda most people know as our public school system, a scoundrel like Sunstein (and his Lady Macbeth wife) would be immediately fired, placed in the stocks in the public square and have rotten fruit and dead animals thrown at his face like in Medieval times … but this is only a personal fantasy.

America, please don’t allow Soros, Sunstein and Obama to kill the U.S. Constitution through either rewriting it or regulating our sacred constitutional rights into oblivion. Send letters to your congressional representatives and demand that all Republicans refuse to pass a hike in the debt limit and force a government shutdown. This strategy will compel Democratic socialists and RINOs alike to make draconian spending cuts, including defunding entire departments of the federal government, like Education, Commerce, the EPA and most regulatory agencies that are duplicative and fascist.

And let us collectively stab through the heart Sunstein’s treachery that “there is no liberty without dependency.”

For those Americans who live where there are four distinct seasons, during the winter months you’re probably tuned into your local radio or television station so you’ll know the weather forecast.

Our meteorological forecasters have ways to determine if our days will be sunny and bright, blustering cold, or uncomfortably hot. With that thought in mind, how do most people gauge what is right or wrong? It’s apparent that we’re living in an age when almost anything goes.

Things as they are

It’s safe to say that barometers generally don’t lie. They don’t give opinions, but reveal only the facts. They clearly and accurately record the rise and fall of atmospheric pressure. They are not influenced by anyone’s ideas or opinions. They simply tell it as it is. To reject the barometer’s warning is to reject the state of things as they are.

In 1938, one of the most powerful hurricanes ever to hit the east coast of America slammed into Long Island and continued up the East Coast. The winds blew at 120 miles an hour, gusting up to 200. The salty spray was carried by the fierce winds from Long Island 250 miles north to Montpelier, Vermont. The property damage was more than $300 million. At today’s prices, the cost would be over 15 billion dollars. And tragically, hundreds of lives were lost.

I’m sad to have to be the pundit who points out that our generation seems to care very little about right and wrong. Let me give you some straight talk. America’s society is in danger for rejecting God’s moral barometer. We’re leading ourselves to self-destruct, even without the help of the present administration pushing us over the brink. It’s time we begin to toss out every cherished sin that makes us guilty before a loving Father. And to do that, we need to know the game rules.

Man-made “truth”

In 2009, an interesting survey came out by George Barna and his Barna Research group of Americans known as Gen-Xers. What were its findings? Most Gen-Xers (Americans born between 1960 and 1980) have tossed out the idea of absolute truth. This staggering reality does not bode well for our nation’s future. Seventy-five percent of adults and teens reject the concept of absolute moral truth. In other words, there is no right or wrong: right or wrong is what you think in your mind.

Joseph Fletcher wrote a book in 1966 titled Situation Ethics, which popularized this view among America’s university students. His view was simply this — adultery, stealing, bearing false witness, or breaking any one of the Ten Commandments “is not necessarily and always wrong. If the situation is right, the act may be right.”
Today, over half of all teenagers say that lying is sometimes necessary — not just convenient or common. To them, it’s acceptable. This leads me to address some basic and fundamental questions. Are we facing a clash of cultures? Is the moral barometer of the 21st century abandoned and broken? I believe it is. How do we fix the problem?

“Postmodernism”

What is essentially wrong with the idea that everyone must determine what is right for themselves? It’s problematic because everything becomes a blur on the moral radar screen. Just what is the morality of the current “post-modern world”?

According to BBC.co.uk, “Postmodernism does away with many of the things that religious people regard as essential. For postmodernists, every society is in a state of constant change; there are no absolute values, only relative ones; nor are there any absolute truths.

“This promotes the value of individual religious impulses, but weakens the strength of religions which claim to deal with truths that are presented from outside, and given as objective realities.”

In this opinion piece, I will attempt to tackle some of these tough questions. What is the fundamental fallacy in the idea that right and wrong are matters of opinion?”

“If any man think that he knoweth anything…” (1 Cor. 8:2)

What bothers me most about this concept of moral relativism, which is taught in our universities and school systems, is it’s an absolute lie. The entire premise comes from a progressive mindset that demands we not be judgmental. If that is correct, then how do we know right from wrong?

When somebody tells me there is no such thing as absolutes of right and wrong, how can I even evaluate that statement? For me, the stark truth is in the Bible. There is a verse in God’s Word that says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end leads to destruction” (Prov. 16:25). It forewarns me that people may appear to understand things but reject true knowledge, which is needed to be able to determine what appropriate behavior is — that is, behavior that benefits not only themselves, but all of our society.

Take a long look at what is happening to our society as a result of the false belief that there are no moral absolutes. The human mind can’t accurately evaluate what is right and what is wrong. The Bible says, “The heart is deceitful and above all things desperately wicked” (Jer. 17:9).

When we as a nation filter things to suit our own idea of right and wrong, then there’s nothing but foolishness. Man has a fallen nature. I fully recognize that in our modern world, people reject the concept of a fallen nature. And since people do not want to admit that they possess such a nature, they would rather assume that they somehow have the ability to distinguish between good and evil in and of themselves. But if that were true, why were Americans so outraged when the World Trade Center was attacked? Islamic terrorists who flew those airplanes actually believed that they were morally right in killing innocent people. Both sides can’t be right about that. And why are we outraged that Hitler killed six million Jews — if we believe there is no such thing as absolute right or wrong? When a country filled with churches of all denominations has intermingled God’s holy laws with man-made traditions, we’re left with no basis for feeling outraged at such evil.

When we inform God that His character and moral values are not important, then on any given Sunday morning, if my neighbor decides to go out and mow his front lawn and that bothers me, I could punch him in the nose because I value my peace and quiet. Who is to say that’s wrong? At the same time, we live in a nation of laws. Our judicial laws punish those who would commit assault and battery on their neighbors. These laws stem from our Constitution, which is based on Biblical premises and principles.

If a man or a woman is not content or happy in their home, and there are no moral boundaries, what would be wrong with having an extramarital affair? Without God’s Ten Commandments in the picture, morality becomes easy to rationalize.

Headed for the ash heap

The question then becomes, what is reality — and what are the results of ignoring what is right or wrong? How has an increasingly godless, rebellious mindset affected our society? And where is it leading our country?

Those who want to destroy America pander to man’s human baseness. Progressives understood years ago what would happen if they succeeded in slowly but surely removing moral boundaries from every facet of our lives. And quite frankly, too many of us have become willing participants and given in to their enticements.

Conservatives of all stripes, including Independent voters, should not have a thing to do with the acceptance of gay marriage, abortion on demand, legalization of recreational drugs, or prostitution. Once a civilized nation dissolves its moral code, it ends up on the ash heap of history.

There is no guarantee that we will be able to restore our nation if we don’t have a civil society based on God’s unchanging law. As America’s Judeo-Christian faith becomes ever-more diminished and compromised, our future looks extraordinarily dim. “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool” (Proverbs 28:26).

“Without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5)

We need to look outside of human beings for sound rules. We need to look to something or someone that does have perfect understanding, perfect empirical knowledge. The Bible reveals God. He speaks of Himself in absolute terms. One of my favorite passages in Scripture is Psalm 111, in which the Psalmist summarizes the relevance of God’s law. The Lord reveals absolute truth in His own character, in His own nature. God Himself is holy, and that truth is revealed in His Word. And God’s truth reveals itself to every generation and every society, in undeniable ways. (See Romans, chapter one.)

The Almighty says, “The works of His hands are verity that is truth and justice. All His precepts are sure. They stand fast forever and ever” (Psalm 111:7). When speaking about God’s law, the Psalmist points out that the law of God is an eternal revelation of the character of God and is increasingly relevant to every generation. For example, the law that says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me,” in an age of materialism where material values have become god, speaks positively of placing our priority on the things of eternity. The law that says, “Thou shalt not kill,” goes far beyond the physical act of killing. It deals with respect for human life. His law provides some moral and objective standards.

It seems to me that God’s law is like a mirror. In fact, the Bible reveals that. Take a look at the book of James. You’ll look into its mirror and see that your face is dirty. The Word says: “By the law is the knowledge of sin” (Romans 3:20). It also says, sin is the transgression, the breaking of God’s law. Sin is not something just in our minds; it’s the breaking of an absolute moral standard that God has given to govern behavior.

Motives of the heart

But is it ever right to break that standard? Would you think that lying, for example, is acceptable?

Let’s suppose that, during the days of the Holocaust, I tried to shelter a Jewish friend and a Nazi asked me if a Jew were there. Would lying in such a situation be right? Let’s use God’s law to find out what would be right or wrong in this case.

I know what the Commandment says. It says, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor.” If I were to reveal the existence of my Jewish friend, I would be acting unjustly against my neighbor, in a way that would likely harm him — something the Commandment seems to forbid. This difficult test of my integrity would require me to rely on God, through His Spirit, to know what He would want me to do. I’m pretty certain He would want me to protect my innocent friend from possible death at the hands of a murderous regime.

I believe God weighs the human heart. Not from an absence of moral absolutes, but from an overriding desire that we put His will (and guidance) first in our lives — above our own.

We live in a sinful world where evil forces are working against us. We need to be able to balance everything that is going on and make the best decision in a bad scenario.

There is an example of this in the Bible.

In Exodus, chapter one, the Pharaoh told the midwives to kill every male Hebrew child. He became outraged when he discovered that the midwives refused to follow his orders. They did not want to commit murder. The midwives had the moral fortitude to protect the women. God honored the midwives for their decision. I would suggest that as Christians, we need to look for the honest and true way every time. The true story of the midwives gives us a perfect example. When we make a decision in a bad scenario in a sinful world, God weighs the motives of the heart. What are we trying to do? Are we selfishly trying to cover our tracks and protect ourselves — or are we doing the best we know how to protect and guard somebody else, in harmony with His will? I believe God weighs our motives. Don’t you?

“Legalism”

Some suggest that keeping the Ten Commandments is little more than “legalism” — needless restraint on freedom — and has little relevance for today. They also wrongly believe that if anybody tries to live by the Ten Commandments, they’re trying to work their way into heaven. Nothing could be further from the truth. When I accepted Christ as Savior, I was saved by His shed blood on Calvary’s cross and His abounding grace covers my every sin. I personally believe in God’s laws. The scriptures will prove me correct.

Let’s pretend that I’m the proud mother of two small children, a one-year-old and a four-year-old, and I lovingly restrict their freedom by putting a fence around the backyard. Am I a legalistic, controlling parent? No. If they were to wander from an unfenced yard onto a busy road, they might be run down and killed. God’s Ten Commandments are not a straitjacket. They are an expression of His love.

In chapter five of Deuteronomy, God says of his children, “Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear Me and keep all of My commandments always.” Why?

“That it might be well with them and their children forever.”

The heart of love in God is saying: I want to do my best for you. I don’t want you to live in fear, so thou shalt not murder. My rule says your neighbor is not going to break into your house in the night and murder you or your family. My rule says that you can sleep comfortably at night because your neighbor is not going to come and steal your possessions. God has a guardrail around life. He is not trying to put us in a straitjacket and ruin our fun anymore than me keeping my children from playing in a busy street.

The Ten Commandments are codified love. If you were to summarize the whole law, it is based on one word — love. The first four Commandments tell us how to love God. The remaining six tell us how to love our fellow man. If you want to know how to love God, you look at the first four Commandments. You want to know how to love your fellow man, you look at the last six. I can’t truly love if I steal from my fellow man. If I am angry toward him and want to murder him, I cannot truly love at all. It kind of reminds me, we were talking about the legalism of the law. Is the law restricting your freedom?

In the book of James, the apostle refers to God’s moral requirements as the law of liberty, because we are not truly free unless there are some boundaries. You know, those I’ve run across who say keeping God’s laws is legalistic don’t feel that way when it comes to others keeping them. They would like their neighbor not to kill, steal, or commit adultery. It’s just that they believe they should be able to do whatever they like. But doing what you want is not liberty.

Others say that the high standards of God’s law are impossible to keep. They forget that every human being has struggled with them, including the humble follower of God, the apostle Paul. In Romans, chapter seven, Paul says, “I would love to keep God’s law, but there is this old nature, this sinful nature that I make mistakes and I stumble and I fall.” It is easy to become discouraged, but we cannot excuse ourselves.

Real hope and change

Our nature as sinful human beings is that we don’t do things perfectly. We have become self-centered and selfish, and God’s law is selfless and loving. And so we struggle. However, there is good news. There is hope. We do not have to succumb to that sinful human nature if we allow God to hold our hands.

We need to understand what God says — and what He does for us if we turn our hearts to Him, if we give Him the reins to our life. Accept the promise He gives us in the tenth chapter of the book of Hebrews: “This is the covenant I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds will I write them” (Hebrews 10:6).

The God of Creation says, I once etched my laws in stone. He says, but I will take my finger, that same finger that wrote in stone, and I will reach into your mind and I will write my laws there. Hold My hand. The more time you spend with Me, the more you will become like Me and learn to love the things I love.

The Word tells me that God will write His law in our minds and in our hearts. He writes it in our minds so we know it, and He writes it in our hearts so we love it. And so we begin obeying Him spontaneously, because Jesus has changed our life. I love what the Lord reveals in His righteous Word: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13).

Although the law presents a very high ideal, Jesus offers grace to transform our hearts and change our lives and enable us to live up to that ideal. Every time we fail, we stand at the foot of the cross and we seek Jesus and we begin to understand, it is because I broke God’s law that He is hanging there, and then we stumble and fall, we look at that cross again and we feel small.

We often say, there is no hope for a sinner like me. But The Almighty says in Hebrews, chapter 10, right after He says He will write His laws in our heart and our minds: “And their sins and iniquities I will remember no more.” He says, “I can forgive.”

The blood of Christ covers you when you fall. And if any man falls, First John, chapter two, states that we have an advocate with God the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous. We have somebody who is perfect, who steps in between and says: These children are mine. I am busy working with them. They have stumbled and fallen, but that’s ok. My blood covers their mistake.

God has an ideal; His law has an absolute moral standard for society. But when we fail, His grace is there to forgive us, to pick us up and to lead us back to live that obedient life. What more could you ask for?

Our God-created nation

America was given birth by a God who loves us and sets His standard to protect us. When we stumble and fall, He does not push us away, but picks us up and helps us on our way.

May I remind you that our society is wracked with crime, ripped apart by violence, and riddled with immorality? Each year, 1.7 million Americans are victims of violent injuries and over 3 million more violent crimes are reported where one victim is accosted but not injured.

Unmarried couples are now living together in unprecedented numbers — ten times the rate of 1970. Abortion — largely the result of unmarried sex — continues unabated, killing 1.3 million unborn children each year. 83 percent of all abortions are by unmarried women, most of whom are under the age of 25.

Our families are disintegrating. For every two marriages recorded in county records throughout America, there is one divorce. The growing epidemic of social problems shouts loudly that this generation is headed for moral collapse.

God has something much better for us. The Lord says — “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus came to give us life in super abundance. Christ longs for us to live a life filled with incredible joy. He longs for us to be happy and fulfilled, to live productive, satisfying lives.

A heart of faith

The Psalmist declares, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Then He adds, “I will run the course of Your Commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart” (Psalms 119:32).

Obedience to God is not a narrow-minded path. It does not restrict our freedom. It does not narrow our joy. A commitment to God enlarges our heart. It opens new vistas of incredible joy. It presents us with opportunities for amazing happiness.

Obeying God is a step of faith. It is saying, God, I trust you. You have written the moral code of the universe. You know more about making me happy than I know. I surrender to your will. I leave my happiness in your hands. I choose to obey you because I’m absolutely confident that you always have my best interests in view.

Americans, will you take stock of what I’ve put forth? Patriots, we have a country to save and a heaven to win. Let’s take hold of every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. The Lord’s Holy Ten Commandments bring us true freedom. Let’s recognize them and try to live our lives upright by going back to God’s basics.

In the late 1940s; Russian spies infiltrated the deepest levels of the US government, including the Rosenbergs who had stolen the plans to the nuclear bomb. America was threatened by a ruthless enemy in Soviet Communism that would not stop until the world was enslaved. When Senator Joseph McCarthy learned of the Russian infiltration of Washington, DC, he was determined to take the evidence public to the American people.

In his famous speech on February 9th, 1950, McCarthy brought public a list of 57 known communists working for the state department. These revelations took the American public by storm. Out of all the Senators and public figures in Washington, only McCarthy had the courage to stand up against communist infiltration. It was a deed that McCarthy’s leftist critics would never forgive him for.

For the next four years, Senator Joseph McCarthy stood undeterred against the strong socialist influence in Washington, exposing literally hundreds of anti-American operatives working incognito for the US Government.” (SOURCE)

ONLY 57 Communists? Good Grief!

If Joe McCarthy was alive today, and engaged in the same investigation, there’s a pretty good chance he’d have to use a set of hand trucks, or a dolly, to roll the current list of suspected communists, plus the socialists and Marxists working for, employed by, or otherwise involved with the US government.

We must remember, dear reader, that was 1950. It was early in the socialist movement in the American mainstream media, which would, as time passed, become so strong it would sanitize the socialist/marxist/communist movement to infiltrate the US government. Today that movement controls, approximately, half of the three branches of the current US government.

If the American citizen of today were as smart — and as well educated — as the Americans of the 1950’s we would be storming the US seat of government demanding a purge of our government and a return to a constitution centered government, the legacy of this nation’s founders, which has now been discarded in favor of a socialist agenda with the ultimate goal of creating a socialist/marxist/communist government in which the state controls American’s lives from the cradle to the grave –and – presumes to replace God with the state as the object of citizen’s worship.

If you doubt this, notice how the American mainstream media has assumed the position of Praetorian Guard to the Obama Administration — itself riddled with socialists and Marxists. In fact, many conservative commentators are convinced that Obama, himself, is a socialist. Some even go so far as to accuse him of actually being a communist.

Not today. Today, with political correctness squeezing the life out of truth, even McCarthy’s name is a dirty word. But that is what political correctness does. It stifles truth. It slams the brakes on any discussion of whether or not Senator McCarthy was right – or not. It makes certain a public discussion of whether the US government is held captive by communists, socialists, and Marxists is, in fact, true – or not darn near impossible.

Political correctness is an oft-used tool to MISLEAD the public, as well. Was Joe McCarthy all the terrible and evil things we are told … or have we been mislead? Political correctness is the tool wielded by the left to make darn sure the other side is never, ever, heard.

In modern America, we embrace socialism, Marxism, and communism. McCarthy saw it as the threat to America that it was in the 1950’s and as it is today. It is a cancer eating away at America’s soul. It is terminal. It WILL kill America.

And there is NOBODY standing tall and pointing out to Americans the evil disease rotting our nation from within.

Unfortunately, Americans bought into the propaganda from the left concerning the “evil” McCarthy. Believing it themselves, they became zealous in disseminating it to the masses.

But the truth has a way of surviving just about everything. Now we know from information gathered from studies of old Soviet files in Moscow and the famous Vanona Intercepts — FBI recordings of Soviet embassy communications between 1944-48 – the actual record of that period in American history is proving that McCarthy was essentially right.

Would it even be possible to create an Un-American Activities Committee today in either the US House of Representatives or the US Senate? The answer is an emphatic – NO!

Another question: Would the American people support such an effort? Here is the most telling answer of all – NO!

America does not want the truth because we are no longer capable of handling the truth.

And so we perish — at our own hand.

President Barack Obama exhibits very little to none of the biblical teachings of the Judeo-Christian faith. To this day, he has not become a member of any of the Christian churches in Washington, D.C.

I’m not going to stop reminding the American people about the fact that Obama sat in the Trinity United Church of Christ for 20 years because he liked what he heard coming out of the mouth of an anti-American, anti-Semitic, bigoted pastor named Jeremiah Wright.

Progressive Black Liberation Theology is a Marxist teaching. It explains the goals of this president as he continually works to destroy our country. For nearly a century, communists have sought to bring down the greatest nation in the world, and the current resident of the White House is no exception.

Treasonous insiders

Ronald Reagan emphasized that America is a shining city on a hill whose beacon guides freedom-loving people everywhere. He spoke of the tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, windswept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace — a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. Where is that nation today?

America is being stolen from us by an administration that is riddled with communists and Czars who make laws and policies that do not pass through our Senate and the House.

Carol Browner — a member of Socialist International’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society — was but one of the radical czars who dominated the administration from the outset, and who served as part of a shadow cabinet to implement Obama’s ultraliberal agenda.

We can clearly see that disturbing agenda by taking a look at the work conducted within Browner’s office. She and her cohorts manipulated the scientific data regarding the British Petroleum oil spill, in their quest to stop off-shore drilling. The result was a job-killing moratorium on safe drilling in the Gulf. With the Middle East aflame and in chaos, we’re paying a price, as we continue to be beholden to unpredictable oil-rich countries. Whatever happened to the mantra “Drill, baby, drill?”

Browner resigned in January as Obama’s Director of Energy and Climate Change Policy, and the House of Representatives voted the following month to abolish her position altogether. These developments may help slow down this administration’s obsession with implementing “cap and trade” — with its energy tax — but we can’t count on it. Obama has shown himself oblivious to the will of the American people. Do we honestly believe Obama will be deterred from trying to shove his policies down our throats — policies like redistribution of wealth and Obamacare — by the loss of one of his leading czars?

Every single czar should be forced to resign. But until we remove the man in the White House, that is not likely to happen. We have a traitorous “fifth column” embedded in every facet of our government. Who has the president’s ears? One Nation Under Marx

When we become rightfully upset about the way the president and his buddies in the media refer to the Tea Party, I’d like to know why the Democrat Party is connected at the hip with the groups that were seen October 2, 2010, in Washington, D.C., at the socialist One Nation Rally.

The American people have never been given an explanation. View the “One Nation Rally” photos. These Communist and Marxist organizations were told to show up by whom? Does the president have no connection with any of these groups? Let me sell you the Brooklyn Bridge if you’re naive enough to believe he has none.
Conservative and independent voters are fed up. We’ve heard not one word of condemnation by the Democrat Party or the media of such blatantly unAmerican hate-mongering as we witnessed at the One Nation Rally. Even our own Republican candidates running for president seem content to say little or nothing about the true character of the deceitful man who happens to be Commander-In-Chief of our troops.

If Republicans want to win come 2012, they must be open and candid. Many people still don’t understand that besides being an agitating community organizer from Chicago, the Usurper has known ties to shady operatives and criminals. Republicans need to explain that the transformation Obama is busily working toward is to transform our country to socialism — resulting in the enslavement of ourselves and our posterity by Obama’s fellow elitists and thugs.

Let us never forget that “When the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Prov. 29:2).

“Grinding America down”

Like most conservatives, I’ve known bits and pieces of the root of America’s problems. I think it’s time, however, to put things all together and view them in perspective. Are we so blind we can’t see what’s happening to our country?

Take time out of your busy day and watch a 16-minute preview of the film “Agenda: Grinding America Down,” by courageous Idaho legislator Curtis Bowers. This well-done documentary — available in its entirely for $17 at Amazon — points to the truth about what’s happening to America, with interviews of well-known writers and prominent political figures, including Phyllis Schlafly, Edwin Meese, M. Stanton Evans, James Simpson, Brannon Howse, Trevor Loudon, and many others.

The film’s bottom line is that until most Americans are willing to accept reality, there will never be the kind of massive changes needed to save the land we say we love. We’re headed right into a brick wall — unless God intervenes.

We can no longer give in to those who are trying to tear down every good and decent moral value at the heart of what makes America great. And with that, I’ll point out the obvious: the Obama administration is corrupt and evil.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”   Norman Thomas, former U.S. Socialist Party president candidate.

Those of my age—I am in my seventies—have a strong recall of the Cold War, fought from the end of World War Two in 1945 until the fall of the infamous Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989 and the subsequent collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. We grew up knowing that the Communists—Marxists—were the enemy.

All throughout that period, American liberals—Leftists—did what they could to ridicule efforts to rid the government of Communists, attacked those like Sen. Joseph McCarthy who spoke out against them, defended the likes of Fidel Castro who turned Cuba into a prison-state, and worked to “improve” U.S.-Soviet relations.

A book I wish everyone would read, liberals and conservatives alike, “Dupes” by Paul Kengor, went into a second printing in January of this year (ISI Books, Intercollegiate Studies Institute, Wilmington, DE). Kengor, a PhD, is a professor of political science at Grove City College. His book runs just over 600 pages, all thoroughly documented, and tells the history of the effort to impose communism on America and worldwide, dating back to the Bolshevik revolution in 1917.

One of the characters in the book is Whittaker Chambers, a former Soviet spy who came to realize how evil Communism was and who revealed how the administrations of Roosevelt and Truman were shot through with spies and those cooperating with the Soviet Union, the most famous of whom was Alger Hiss, a high-ranking State Department official. Richard M. Nixon first came to public notice as a Senator from California who ran on an anti-Communist platform.

“While Communists make full use of liberals and their solicitudes, and sometimes flatter them to their faces, in private,” wrote Chambers, “they treat them with that sneering contempt that the strong and predatory almost invariably feel for victims who volunteer to help in their own victimization.”

Socialism has had a long, hard time establishing itself in America and has mostly been the gift of the Democratic Party that held control of Congress for forty years until that grip was broken in 1995. Despite that, Bill Clinton was reelected and, halfway through George W. Bush’s second term, congressional power returned to the Democrats.

Then, in 2008, a virtually unknown Senator who had not even served a full term, who had no paper trail of documentation regarding his life, who had written two memoirs that hinted at his far Left upbringing and associations, was elected President. Putting it bluntly, Americans were duped.

As Kengor points out, Americans “in poll after poll, year after year, have described themselves as ‘conservative’ over ‘liberal’ by a margin of roughly two to one, by approximately 40 percent to 20 percent.”

The political environment of America is conservative, but it has been the growing number of independent voters that have determined election outcomes. That says something about the disappointment that both political parties have created with their emphasis on enlarging the federal government, excessive spending, questionable wars, and general indifference to the voters.

The independents also reflect the sudden emergence of the Tea Party movement that occurred to protest Obamacare. They and others have swung back toward conservative candidates electing Republican governors in New Jersey and Virginia, a Republican Senator from Massachusetts, and sent Allen West and Marco Rubio to Congress from Florida, along with a host of candidates supported by the Tea Parties.

Independents along with conservatives in America have been demonstrating a level of political resistance to senseless spending and the rough-shod imposition of leftist legislation that suggests the 2012 elections will “save” America from Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and their far Left minions.

The election of Barack Obama was the result of the greatest act of political deception in the modern era. It was aided by a news media that not only ignored all the obvious signs that Obama was a denizen of the far Left, but was surrounded, not only by Leftists, but Communists like Van Jones whose Apollo Alliance helped write Obama’s budget-bursting $800 billion ‘stimulus’ bill.

The revolutionaries of the 1960s had mostly migrated to positions in higher education where they could influence a new generation, oblivious to the carnage that has always accompanied a Communist revolution, killing millions. Younger Americans in 2008 meant that those aged 18 to 29 made up nearly one in five voters or about twenty-five million ballots. They preferred Obama by a margin of more than two to one, 66 percent to 32 percent. They had no memory of the Cold War.

Seeking to dupe Americans Obamacare was an act of raw political power that ignored the same widespread rejection that an earlier version, dubbed “Hillarycare”, had encountered. “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it,” said then Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Its purpose was to completely socialize healthcare in America.

Americans, old and young, must not be duped again. The very future of the nation depends on the actions of a Republican-controlled House in the years remaining as America’s first Marxist President works his way, seeking always to make dupes of us all.

This week the Federal Communications Commission took the first step in taking control of the Internet by the US Government. Their “Net Neutrality” regulation tromps all over the U. S. Constitution and is a slap in the face of the US Courts, which, earlier this year, in very clear terms, told the FCC that they (the FCC) do not have the authority to regulate the Internet.

The fact that it is NOT LEGAL would stop most agencies from boldly forging ahead with plans to grab as much power as is possible for an already near omnipotent government that is out of control and bordering on tyranny.

For nearly 30 years of my adult life I toiled in the broadcast industry. Every day of those years I was conscious of the Federal Communications Commission staring over my shoulder constantly. I knew that the continued existence of my job, and the business for which I worked, depended upon the whim of the commissioners, or as we would, from time to time refer to them — the “Commissars” of the FCC. As far as a broadcaster’s job was concerned and the license of the broadcaster and the broadcast station was concerned – THE FCC WAS GOD! An infraction of their rules could and, more often than not, could/would mean a gut-wrenching fine and the revocation of a broadcast station’s license.

Lifting the license of a station means that station would go dark, off the air, out of business. Your professional life was in the hands of an all-powerful federal agency that had the power to regulate with those regulations having the force of law.

Regulations “with the force of law” are just the same as any other law. But there is a HUGE difference that has concerned me for many years. Those regulations were not passed out of Congress and did not require the President’s signature to become law. In effect, an agency that has the power to regulate, such as the FCC and a number of other regulatory agencies within the US government, are little “kingdoms” with their “serfs,” the citizens who have to try to stay within the terms of those laws in order not to be fined, or lose their jobs or licenses.

It concerns me greatly that those agencies even exist. There is no place in a constitutional republic for agencies that can simply make-up laws and enforce them with impunity and with the blessing of Congress.

The Commissars … ‘er … Commissioners … of the FCC are a government within THE GOVERNMENT. They are a group of un-elected individuals acting as a mini-government. There is something inherently wrong about that. But that is what we have with the FCC and a large number of other government agencies.

In our opinion those agencies, among them the FCC, should be stripped of their power to issue regulations with the force of law. If they feel there is a need for a regulation, then they should make their case before Congress and ask Congress to consider making such a law.

As it is today, the FCC appears to be drunk on power. The commission is controlled by the Democratic Party, which, itself, was inebriated on power right up to November 2^nd, 2010 when the people of the US said: “ENOUGH!” But, the FCC, apparently, did not get the message. Or, if they did, they have chosen to ignore it. My money is on the latter.

There is a better than even chance the courts will overturn the “Net Neutrality” regulation passed this week by the FCC. Why … because it is unconstitutional and outside the mandate of the Federal Communications Commission… period.

Senator Jim DeMint, a Republican of my home state of South Carolina has said he intends to stop the Net neutrality power grab by the FCC. In a statement released by Senator DeMint following the issuance of the Net Neutrality regulation by the FCC this week the Senator said the following:

“The Obama Administration has ignored evidence that this federal takeover will hang a millstone of regulatory and legal uncertainty around the neck of a vibrant sector of our economy.

“Proceeding on its own liberal whims rather than facts, this FCC has chosen to grant itself broad authority to limit how businesses can bring the Internet to consumers in faster and more innovative ways.

“Americans loudly demanded a more limited federal government this November, but the Obama Administration has dedicated itself to expanding centralized government planning. Today, unelected bureaucrats rammed through an Internet takeover, even after Congress and courts warned them not to.

“To keep the Internet economy thriving, this decision must be reversed. Regulatory reform will be a top priority for Republicans in the next Congress, and I intend to prevent the FCC or any government agency from unilaterally burdening our recovering economy with baseless regulation.

“In order to provide the stability businesses need to grow, I will work with my fellow senators to see passage of my FCC Act, which would ensure that the FCC can only use its rulemaking powers where there is clear evidence of a harmful market failure, as well as the REINS Act, which would add the accountability of a Congressional vote before any government agency’s proposed major regulations may be finalized.” (SOURCE)

Senator DeMint is “dead-on.” These agencies need to be cut-off at the knees.

It is clear that as long as the Obama Regime controls the FCC, conservative voices will be seen as a threat. The FCC has made clear its intention to silence those voices, in any way it can, until the elected officials of the people dismantle their agency and relegate it to the dustbin of history.

Some months ago I related to you how I stood in the parking lot of one of the Big Box stores and counted 22 cameras observing everything going on around me. Those were just the cameras I could see from my vantage point. There were more. Please note: That was OUTSIDE the store. Upon entering the store there were uncountable cameras peering at shoppers — some obvious and others strategically located and camouflaged, I expect.

Some years ago, in a nearby city, my wife and I had been shopping in a large grocery store in route home from attending church. As we prepared to pay for our purchases by check, the cashier informed me that I must have my photo taken. I completely lost it.

I launched into a tirade that brought the entire checkout of that giant store to a complete halt. It also brought the store manager — and security. By the time my wife was able to get me (and my temper) under control, I had become so angry I was literally sick to my stomach.

The long and the short of it is – we left all the groceries at the checkout because, my wife’s protestations not withstanding, I refused to make a purchase of any kind from that company. I have never been inside of that company’s store(s) since. I never will.

Why, you may ask, did I create such a stir? It is really quite simply. I despise being treated as a criminal. I am a free American. I insist upon being treated as such. It is my right as an American citizen.

We Americans had better stand up for our rights and we’d better stand up yesterday! We have very few left. Our right to privacy is GONE! And we, you and I, allowed it to happen.

In the past few days we have learned that not only are we on camera most of our waking hours, but now, every time we use our credit cards, it is reported to the federal government… not in a report at the end of the week or the end of the month, but in real time, at the moment the card is swiped. They know what you bought, where you bought it, when you bought it, how much you spent — the whole 27 feet!

In an article at Wired.com entitled “Feds Warrantlessly Tracking Americans’ Credit Cards in Real Time,” it is reported as follows: “Federal law enforcement agencies have been tracking Americans in real-time using credit cards, loyalty cards and travel reservations without getting a court order, a new document released under a government sunshine request shows.

The document, obtained by security researcher Christopher Soghoian, explains how so-called “Hotwatch” orders allow for real-time tracking of individuals in a criminal investigation via credit card companies, rental car agencies, calling cards, and even grocery store loyalty programs. The revelation sheds a little more light on the Justice Department’s increasing power and willingness to surveil Americans with little to no judicial or Congressional oversight.”

The article goes on to say: “The document suggests that the normal practice is to ask for all historical records on an account or individual from a credit card company, since getting stored records is generally legally easy. Then the agent sends a request for “Any and all records and information relating directly or indirectly to any and all ongoing and future transactions or events relating to any and all of the following person(s), entitities, account numbers, addresses and other matters…” That gets them a live feed of transaction data.” (SOURCE)

In an article at The Wall Street Journal Online entitled: “Race Is On to ‘Fingerprint’ Phones, PCs,” It is reported thusly: “It might seem that one computer is pretty much like any other. Far from it: Each has a different clock setting, different fonts, different software and many other characteristics that make it unique. Every time a typical computer goes online, it broadcasts hundreds of such details as a calling card to other computers it communicates with. Tracking companies can use this data to uniquely identify computers, cell phones and other devices, and then build profiles of the people who use them.” (SOURCE)

I have learned that every time you fill a prescription for a painkiller, which happens to be a controlled substance, a medication your doctor has prescribed for you, a record is kept which is “readily available” to the DEA. The term “readily retrievable” means the record is kept or maintained in such a manner that it can be separated out from all other records in a reasonable time or that it is identified by an asterisk, redline, or some other identifiable manner such that it is easily distinguishable from all other records. Now I am paranoid about getting my prescriptions filled. I honestly think twice about it. I have no intention of breaking the law, but I have to consider the federal government obviously THINKS I may just violate the US drug laws, somehow.

Now comes word of the new campaign with the government in cahoots with Wal-Mart in their “If you see something, say something” campaign; The Wal-Mart news release says the following: “Washington, D.C. – Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano today announced the expansion of the Department’s national “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign to hundreds of Wal-Mart stores across the country – launching a new partnership between DHS and Wal-Mart to help the American public play an active role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation. The news release goes on to say: “”Homeland security starts with hometown security, and each of us plays a critical role in keeping our country and communities safe,” said Secretary Napolitano. “I applaud Wal-Mart for joining the ‘If You See Something, Say Something’ campaign. This partnership will help millions of shoppers across the nation identify and report indicators of terrorism, crime and other threats to law enforcement authorities.” It continues: “A short video message will play at select checkout locations to remind shoppers to contact local law enforcement to report suspicious activity.”

The government is crowing about this new campaign. They LOVE IT! Not only is BIG Brother watching you, now they have all the little brothers and little sisters watching each other, in other words: “spying” on each other.

I don’t know about you, but this sort of activity makes me feel DIRTY! Encouraging Americans to spy on their neighbors is a tactic right out of Nazi Germany or the former Soviet Union. It is certainly not something a free people ought to be involved in.

THIS is where we are in America these days – and I didn’t even mention the “pat-downs” and the naked scanning of our bodies at the nation’s airports.

America is fast becoming a police state. Some would argue we have already arrived.

What is wrong with Americans? We have become sheep herded by an out of control federal government. Why aren’t we in the streets with torches and pitchforks raising hell and demanding a return of our constitutional freedom and liberty?

Remember the expression: “All that is necessary for evil to prevail – is for good men to do nothing.” I submit that THAT is exactly what Americans are doing these days – NOTHING!

How long before the hammer and sickle is raised over the Congress and the White House?

The price of freedom is really eternal vigilance directed at out very own government, not each other. But that is not going to happen as long as so many Americans are on the government dole. The government as bought their acquiescence and their silence.

A truly free America is gone. We are now a banana republic with a socialist government which appears to fancy itself as a benevolent dictatorship.

I have news for America. There is no such thing as a benevolent dictatorship. And Americans are about to learn, to our everlasting shame that we have destroyed our freedom and willing accepted the yoke and chains of a tyrannical government.

Once a nation’s freedom is lost it is almost always lost forever. America has exchanged freedom for some sort of elusive security that can only end in slavery to the state.

How sad. How very, very, sad.

Recently I received an email and requested permission to share it. It says a great deal about the danger of a government inclined to ignore the Constitution. December 15th is Bill of Rights Day; time to read them if you have not done so already.

Dear Mister Caruba,

I want to thank you for your Warning Signs blog. I want you to know that I am scared out of my wits with everything that is going on…

I was born, raised, and grew up in Communist Poland. I presently reside in the USA since June 1983. I love the country and love Americans. Every time the national anthem is played I tear up with happiness to be lucky enough to live in The Greatest Country on Earth!!

What I see happening all around us is very troubling, since Obama’s election and the great number of people looking forward to change and hope to get us on track to build a better tomorrow. The light at the end of a tunnel, however, has turned out to be a TRAIN!!

Of course, as everyone, I have my opinion just about everything…

I am not the sharpest tool in a shed, but I call Obama “The Closer” just like the TV show I watched a few years ago. Over the years our society was brainwashed and socially conditioned
I’ve experienced it back in Poland when our party Leaders were feeding us utopia, talking about the greatness of our country, how proud we shall be, how lucky we are, how together we shall build it even stronger, work harder, save more, and as one we will overcome the BAD AMERICA!!!, the source of evil, racism and slaves!. All the time they kept us with no freedom and communist propaganda in the newspapers and on TV.

I remember as a young child—maybe 9 or 10—my Father and I would wake up at 2:00 AM to listen to ‘Free Europe” (BBC station) a one-hour broadcast on the radio. The transmission was very much interrupted with static, but religiously we were finding out some truths. Our window was covered with a heavy blanket (we did not want to take any chance with neighbors or passing police patrol noticing any activities.)

Even when we talked about it later and I had some questions it was always done in such way that my 6-years younger sister couldn’t be near for fear of her saying something to someone.

I remember when Russians invaded Czechoslovakia in 1968. The whole school was gathered by the main road, we were given Russian paper flags and were told to wave at the moving tanks and heavy military trucks and yell “hello” and clap and be happy that we have such good help in the Soviet Union to protect us from the ‘evil movement’ that had spread over Czechoslovakia that they said put us all in danger.

My late Father always told me “Keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut and if you ever have an opportunity to escape safely don’t even take a second to think about it. Just go for it and make a better life for yourself in a free world where you can talk without blankets in a window”.

Sadly I see my country, the country that gave me the opportunity to enjoy freedom in all aspects slowly becoming a closed-door agenda, anti-American bills and policies not upholding the values on which it was established and for which thousands died to keep it true.

I am offended when Obama is not holding his hand over his heart when the anthem is played.
I am offended when he called me an enemy.
I am offended when he bowed to the Saudi Arabian king!
I am offended with his lies so obvious and bold that a deaf person could hear it!
As far as I am concerned he is not my president.

I am concerned we increasingly live in a society where everything we say or write can be fodder for those who think the Bill of Rights was written for a different age or people and no longer applicable.

On Bill of Rights Day it is useful to recall that several of the original States refused to ratify the U.S. Constitution unless the Bill of Rights, the first ten Amendments, was included.

If America is not about personal, individual, political, and spiritual freedom, than it is not America. It is about the rights reserved to the States and the People. Without them, life in America will be no different than the Communist Poland from which my correspondent escaped.
