Another leftist plot is afoot here, in North Carolina, to reinforce the ignorance of our young students of their history, their heritage, and their REAL American culture. And this is not the first time the left has tried this move in North Carolina.
The firestorm of controversy surrounding Focus on the Family’s Super Bowl ad featuring Tim and Pam has had an unexpected effect on the public, particularly among those committed to abortion. I suppose they never expected what has happened over the past week or so, but isn’t it about time?
The Obama Regime knows that if it expects to get anything done he must do it now — before the Mid-Term Election in November. The handwriting is on the wall. Consider what happened in Massachusetts. It was a referendum on the Obama Regime and it is the bellwether of things to come for the Democratic Party.
Socialism has failed, utterly, everywhere in the world it has been tried. The European nations have begun to awaken to this fact and are voting socialists out of public office. Here in America, we have just voted into office our first socialist President, if you don’t count FDR who actually iniated socialism in the American government.
ObamaCare is a death sentence to the democratic majority in the Congress and will certainly relegate Obama, himself, to the long list of one term democratic presidents. To pass the bill is suicide for the democrats and they are hell bent on doing just that! Their work continues in the shadows of locked rooms as they devise alternate plans to get that bill to the President’s desk for his signature.
President Obama has repeatedly bragged how he would finish what FDR started. His regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, even wrote a book outlining how government (not We the People) would finally be free from the constraints of the Constitution: “The Second Bill of Rights.” Sunstein’s thesis – that there are no God-given or natural rights, but basically rights that the government gives or takes away according to its own expediency and caprice.
Our current president gives not a damn about anything but his warped ideology. I hope those deluded souls who applaud taxing the big banks – some of which never took TARP money, some of which were forced to take it, and almost all of which have paid back every dime – can keep the grin on their face when they are forced into foreclosure.
Over the years, it has become common practice among most members of the media elite and the bureaucracies of major medical organizations — not to mention the U.S. Congress and state legislatures — to ignore the reality of what abortion is while also glossing over the actual harmful effects of medical, chemical and surgical abortion. Why this is so does not need explanation; it’s called power over people conjoined with financial profit.
The Liberal-Muslim Axis is much more complex than the name would denote. In California, an initiative has been undertaken to get a ballot before voters to determine the propriety of Christmas music in California public schools. Within the measure is a clause that would require schools to notify parents 21 days before the specified tunes would be played or performed so that students can opt out of being exposed to such material.

Virginia Governor and Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine celebrated the successful mulching of another dead horse last week. After presiding over the loss of the governor’s races in his own state and New Jersey, he celebrated the major accomplishment of his last year in office: banning smoking in restaurants.

Of the many constitutional problems with hate-crime laws, one of the most venal, surreptitious and reminiscent of George Orwell’s “1984″ is the fact that these fascist laws punish our very thoughts. It is not so much a hate-crimes law, but in reality a thought-crimes law, for (absent an invalidation by the Supreme Court) people, particularly Christians, will be severely punished for speaking out against what they consider to be immoral behavior expressly prohibited in the Bible.

Abortion killed at least 203,991 blacks in the 36 states and two cities (New York City and the District of Columbia) that reported abortions by race in 2005 – more than the seven leading causes of death for black Americans that year.
The great American Spirit has been broken by a socialist government, which feeds on power and has neither love nor concern for its people. Just power, raw political power, and they’ll do whatever is necessary to maintain their grasp on that power.
The grand Pooh-Bahs of journalism are asking for breaks in the tax codes that will allow local newspapers to function as non-profit groups. This is not to be confused as the sort of non-profit groups that lose money every quarter because they provide a crummy product, for newspapers have already gotten that one down pat.
