Human personhood is not based on the ethereal concept of “wantedness.” The fact that a human being exists from his biological beginning is not rooted in the philosophical opinions of such notables (mentioned by Senior) as Friedrich Engels and Christian de Duve. Human personhood is determined by scientific fact coupled with right reason.

We know that abortion is evil. We know that those who advocate it are literally working for the father of lies, and we will continue to say it. Abortion is an act that takes the life of a person and the antidote is human personhood. A focus on that child’s humanity is the only educational tool that has lasting power to turn the tide.

The nature of pandering to politicians with half-measures while announcing to pro-life troops that a victory has been achieved is not a new malady. It has been a relatively consistent pattern woven into National Right to Life Committee politics for many years now.
