America’s Gay White House
A news item by Agence Press France flew under the radar of many American news media. On February 25th it reported that “The White House on Friday named Jeremy Bernard to serve as social secretary to President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, the first male and first openly gay person to hold the position.”
There’s Nothing Gay about Being Gay
The debate about gay marriage is not about civil rights and certainly not about the equal rights amendment which was passed following the Civil War to ensure that newly enfranchised black citizens received formerly denied protections. The 13th Amendment, ratified on December 6, 1865 bans slavery. The 14th Amendment was ratified on July 9, 1868. Neither applies to homosexuality.
Reporter Fired for Disagreeing with Intolerant Left
Well then, leftists track this guy down, complain to his employer, and demand that he be fired. His crime? Did he advocate violence? Did he make personal threats to another person? Did he commit a crime? No my friends, he did none of those things. Not even close. He disagreed with a political agenda, nothing more.
