We have compromised and compromised until we have little left TO compromise. Yet, we have two presidential candidates, right now, who are BOTH believers in compromise. They make a big deal of their willingness to compromise. What is needed is the testosterone to stand up on our two feet, like men, and shake our fist in the face of our enemies and say, NO MORE! This is it!
Can You Hold It ’til We Get Home?
Kaine didn’t plan to be known for the remarkable number of men who could be seen standing with their backs to the roadway just inside the woods along the interstate. Nor did he wish to be known for the skyrocketing number of women suffering from poison ivy exposure and urinary tract infections.
Brown Destroys One Party State
Despite a flurry of last minute negative advertisements, an emergency stumping trip by Obama over the weekend, and threats by one liberal commentator that he would “cheat to keep these bastards out” by voting ten or twenty times, Brown was pushed by a Tea party type surge over the top to a decisive victory. This despite being behind Coakley by double digits in the polls just one month ago. …
Passion over Palin
Now the Republican Party has climbed aboard the “Get Palin” train. Why? The GOP is scared witless that Palin will be the first presidential candidate of the Tea Party in America. If that should happen, she will split the republican electorate, take a slew of votes away from the GOP candidate, and, most likely, insure another victory for the Democrats. However, Palin’s possible Tea Party candidacy would suddenly boost the power of those members of the GOP electorate who subscribe to the Tea Party’s conservative philosophy.
