Are Conservatives Anti-intellectual?

obama-elitistThe founders created the nation, and while many went into (at times) government service at various levels, many others went back to work, or back to the farm. They left us to manage our own lives, without the tyrannical interference of government. On the other hand, our current elites crave power, and seek to wield that power in order to dictate most aspects of our lives.

MASS x Velocity = Momentum!

scott-brownScott Brown is not a Pro-Choicer. He has stated he is not making a priority of overturning Roe v Wade. Instead, for the time being, he is pragmatically supporting efforts to reduce the number of and demand for abortions by promoting adoption, and assisting mothers in KEEPING their babies; opposing tax funding of abortion, and supporting parental notification laws etc. So what’s wrong with that?

Do Not Mistake An Independent For A Moderate

teaparties-independence-dayThe left, those who would steal and mangle the birthright of every American, want you to believe this pile of horse hockey. The truth is almost the exact opposite. People are angry and frustrated with Obama and liberal policies. They are angry and frustrated with being lied to, insulted, and ignored.

Passion over Palin

Sarah PalinNow the Republican Party has climbed aboard the “Get Palin” train. Why? The GOP is scared witless that Palin will be the first presidential candidate of the Tea Party in America. If that should happen, she will split the republican electorate, take a slew of votes away from the GOP candidate, and, most likely, insure another victory for the Democrats. However, Palin’s possible Tea Party candidacy would suddenly boost the power of those members of the GOP electorate who subscribe to the Tea Party’s conservative philosophy.

Is it Time For Michael Steele to go?

steeleThis is a significant problem. In fact, it is an enormous problem. To set this nation right, we MUST win the House this year. I don’t believe it’s optional. Given the growing discontent among the public, and especially among independents, it would seem to be an achievable goal.

To The Barricades!

tea_party3America has now had the opportunity to see what a socialist government can do to America. We have seen the current US government — made up of Socialists, Marxists, Communists, Progressives, and a mere sprinkling of real Democrats — nearly cause the collapse of the greatest nation ever to grace the globe.

Nothing new about this tactic

no-rhinosIn their best let’s-you-and-them-fight mode, the bought-and-sold Obama worshipping mainstream media is advising the Republican Party to surrender to its tiny left-leaning wing they call the moderates and allow them to set the GOP’s agenda.

Another Example of What Reagan Knew

reagan-flagIn the end, we can win all the elections we want, but as long as the left still controls much of the culture, all victories will be temporary. We have to stop thinking about delaying and impeding the left, and start working towards re-taking the country.

No Quick Fixes

WorkingMomA lot of people are sitting around waiting for the election of Bob McDonnell in Virginia and Chris Christie in New Jersey, believing it will give Barack Hussein Obama his comeuppance and break the momentum of his rush to socialism. Important steps, yes, but just a start.

Notes from the Underground: 9/12 in DC

The Tea Party movement has its roots in the great Silent Majority of this nation. The crowd was almost eerily quiet and well behaved. These are not people who have protested much of anything during their entire lives and they don’t (yet) really know how to do it. These people weren’t professionally organized and bused to the event, they were drawn there by their own personal convictions.
