Like the biblical prophets of antiquity – Moses, Elijah, Isaiah and John the Revelator, all who jeopardized their lives and heroically proclaimed the word of God to the ignorant, arrogant and barbaric masses, the Israelites, people who constantly refused to hear the words of life, truth, reason and salvation – so it is in our times. In 1958, a modern-day prophet named Cleon Skousen wrote a visionary book titled “The Naked Communist,” warning America and the world of the existential communist menace, and for the past six decades all we did was metaphorically roll over in our beds and grumble, “Wake me when it’s over.”

Well … it’s over! We’re all communists now.

Don’t take my word for it; read the words from the communist forefathers’ own mouths:

• Marx: Democracy is the road to socialism;
• Lenin: Democracy is indispensable to socialism. The goal of socialism is communism;
• Marx: The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism.

History tells us that all of America’s Founding Fathers hated democracy and considered it one of the most evil forms of government ever known to civilization, which is why they insisted on a republic founded under natural law (integration of legality [common law] and morality [Judeo-Christianity]). In the 1830s and ’40s, Karl Marx (an atheist who hated religion) exploited the inequities of Christianity, democracy and capitalism in his prolific writings and foretold that they would soon give way to the birth of democratic socialism, which as state policy first occurred in Germany under Otto von Bismarck (1862-90) who created the modern welfare state by building upon a tradition of welfare programs established in Prussia and Saxony in the 1840s.

During the 1900s, state socialism and communism would spread its tentacles throughout Europe, Russia, Asia, South America and North America, where it thrives to this day.

Here are some more communist tactics Skousen exposes:

Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under communist attack.

To save his state from bankruptcy, in February, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker fought against unionism and collective bargaining. Like entitled children, the union leaders provoked their membership, including all public sector employees and teachers unions, to riot simply because they were asked to pay 12.6 percent of their health-insurance premiums and contribute 5.8 percent of their salaries to the Wisconsin Retirement System pension program (taxpayers will cover the majority costs). Students allied with teachers who all skipped class for weeks, violently protested at the state Capitol building and cost several million dollars in damages to the building, even though most citizens agreed with Gov. Walker’s modest proposals.

Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and motion pictures.

Democracy, socialism and communism are all fascist ideologies and are all defined by their interference in the market. The moment the government interferes with the free market in any way, capitalism ceases and is automatically replaced by liberalism, socialism, fascism or communism. The only difference is in degrees. Democratic socialists have been masterful over the decades at manipulating the media to mainstream communist ideas into society.

Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. Control art critics and directors of art museums by eliminating all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

Skousen chronicled that an American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.” A few weeks ago I wrote a Socratic dialogue, “Symposium: Art, music and the Wagnerian dilemma,” to demonstrate how liberalism has glorified the evil, vile, obsessive and the grotesque, while denigrating the beautiful, pure, inspiring and the transcendent by systematically and purposely corrupting all aesthetic expression in American culture.

A painting of the Black Virgin stained with elephant dung, Andreas Serrano’s “Pi—Christ” (1989) and Robert Mapplethorpe’s “Self-portrait with bullwhip” seen protruding out his rectum are other examples of aesthetic nihilism, which is a goal of communism. We the taxpayers are forced to pay for the housing and the exhibition of these and thousands of other degenerate works of “art.” The overvalued, nitwit scribblings of Picasso and his decadent lifestyle 100 years ago is another case in point.

Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

Since the 1960s, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Supreme Court have made pornography “constitutional.” This brings to mind Justice Potter Stewart’s famous aphorism to describe his threshold test for pornography in Jacobellis v. Ohio (1964) – “I know it when I see it.”

Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

Communism believes that “Truth is anything that will promote communism.” Therefore, moral depravity, including militant homosexuality, degeneracy, promiscuity, pedophilia, bestiality and worse are all acceptable means to collapse Christianity and capitalism. In the end, built upon its ashes will be a utopia, a glorious new worker’s paradise where everyone has all their needs taken care of from cradle to grave by the omnipotent State. The price? Your money, your liberty, your blood, your life and your soul.

The picture above is from Eugen Richter’s 1907 novel “Pictures of a Socialistic Future” and speaks of the universal truths about the treachery of socialism. The novel is written from the perspective of a true believer of the socialist revolution who tragically realizes that a political system that violates the laws of economics and human nature can only lead to poverty, hunger, violence and, ultimately, dictatorship. Unfortunately, by the time he realizes his ignorance, his world has been destroyed.

The differences between Richter’s era 100 years ago and now is that then, the anti-intellectual virus of public-education atheism and socialist propaganda hadn’t run its full course yet. In 2008, national collective ignorance caused America to elect a naked communist and anti-Semite as president. In 2011, cowardice prevents America from nominating a first-tier candidate brave enough to expose this Marxist usurper and dispatch him back to Chicagoland where he belongs. Why?

… Because we’re all communists now.

Those of my age—I am in my seventies—have a strong recall of the Cold War, fought from the end of World War Two in 1945 until the fall of the infamous Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989 and the subsequent collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. We grew up knowing that the Communists—Marxists—were the enemy.

All throughout that period, American liberals—Leftists—did what they could to ridicule efforts to rid the government of Communists, attacked those like Sen. Joseph McCarthy who spoke out against them, defended the likes of Fidel Castro who turned Cuba into a prison-state, and worked to “improve” U.S.-Soviet relations.

A book I wish everyone would read, liberals and conservatives alike, “Dupes” by Paul Kengor, went into a second printing in January of this year (ISI Books, Intercollegiate Studies Institute, Wilmington, DE). Kengor, a PhD, is a professor of political science at Grove City College. His book runs just over 600 pages, all thoroughly documented, and tells the history of the effort to impose communism on America and worldwide, dating back to the Bolshevik revolution in 1917.

One of the characters in the book is Whittaker Chambers, a former Soviet spy who came to realize how evil Communism was and who revealed how the administrations of Roosevelt and Truman were shot through with spies and those cooperating with the Soviet Union, the most famous of whom was Alger Hiss, a high-ranking State Department official. Richard M. Nixon first came to public notice as a Senator from California who ran on an anti-Communist platform.

“While Communists make full use of liberals and their solicitudes, and sometimes flatter them to their faces, in private,” wrote Chambers, “they treat them with that sneering contempt that the strong and predatory almost invariably feel for victims who volunteer to help in their own victimization.”

Socialism has had a long, hard time establishing itself in America and has mostly been the gift of the Democratic Party that held control of Congress for forty years until that grip was broken in 1995. Despite that, Bill Clinton was reelected and, halfway through George W. Bush’s second term, congressional power returned to the Democrats.

Then, in 2008, a virtually unknown Senator who had not even served a full term, who had no paper trail of documentation regarding his life, who had written two memoirs that hinted at his far Left upbringing and associations, was elected President. Putting it bluntly, Americans were duped.

As Kengor points out, Americans “in poll after poll, year after year, have described themselves as ‘conservative’ over ‘liberal’ by a margin of roughly two to one, by approximately 40 percent to 20 percent.”

The political environment of America is conservative, but it has been the growing number of independent voters that have determined election outcomes. That says something about the disappointment that both political parties have created with their emphasis on enlarging the federal government, excessive spending, questionable wars, and general indifference to the voters.

The independents also reflect the sudden emergence of the Tea Party movement that occurred to protest Obamacare. They and others have swung back toward conservative candidates electing Republican governors in New Jersey and Virginia, a Republican Senator from Massachusetts, and sent Allen West and Marco Rubio to Congress from Florida, along with a host of candidates supported by the Tea Parties.

Independents along with conservatives in America have been demonstrating a level of political resistance to senseless spending and the rough-shod imposition of leftist legislation that suggests the 2012 elections will “save” America from Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and their far Left minions.

The election of Barack Obama was the result of the greatest act of political deception in the modern era. It was aided by a news media that not only ignored all the obvious signs that Obama was a denizen of the far Left, but was surrounded, not only by Leftists, but Communists like Van Jones whose Apollo Alliance helped write Obama’s budget-bursting $800 billion ‘stimulus’ bill.

The revolutionaries of the 1960s had mostly migrated to positions in higher education where they could influence a new generation, oblivious to the carnage that has always accompanied a Communist revolution, killing millions. Younger Americans in 2008 meant that those aged 18 to 29 made up nearly one in five voters or about twenty-five million ballots. They preferred Obama by a margin of more than two to one, 66 percent to 32 percent. They had no memory of the Cold War.

Seeking to dupe Americans Obamacare was an act of raw political power that ignored the same widespread rejection that an earlier version, dubbed “Hillarycare”, had encountered. “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it,” said then Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Its purpose was to completely socialize healthcare in America.

Americans, old and young, must not be duped again. The very future of the nation depends on the actions of a Republican-controlled House in the years remaining as America’s first Marxist President works his way, seeking always to make dupes of us all.

The political and religious “identity” of Barak Obama is a contentious and much debated topic these days.  Claims of, “He’s a Muslim,” and “ he’s a socialist,” abound.   The left, as well as the MSM are able to field these claims, and contradict them, at least partially.  They are able to do this because he’s neither of these things.

Religion: While Obama may have a soft spot for Islam, he sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for over 20 years.  While Wright’s teachings are radical, they are clearly not Islamic.  Like the rest of us, the radical wing of Islam would cut his head off, unless he converted.

It is well documented that he attended an Islamic school while he lived in Indonesia.  That, in and of itself, does not mean that he is a Muslim, but unlike other Presidents, he has a depth of knowledge into Islam that unparalleled.  That might bias him, and blind him to the potential dangers that we face.  Either way, he does not appear to be Muslim, or, for that matter, Christian (or at least any Christianity with which we would be familiar).

Politics: You can call Obama a socialist.  It seems to fit his model of wealth redistribution rather nicely.  You might also call him a fascist, as his tampering in the banking, auto, and health care industries closely matches the actions of Mussolini and Hitler, for example, “Corporatism.”  You can also call him a “progressive,” as they believed that the state, run by an “intellectual” elite, can/should wield power to shape society into something more equitable and structured.  The common threads between all three are statism and elitism.  The idea that the state has primacy over all human activity seems a common thread though all of Obama’s policies.   And, of course, the idea of elitism; that a small group of “really smart people that know way better than you,” have the right and obligation to instruct everyone on how to live is central to any totalitarian view.

Some will say that the political theories and backgrounds conflict.  They do… and they don’t.  While that might come off as a contradictory statement, there is a case for stating it.  To draw the comparisons and contrasts, a brief look at history is required.

During the mid to late 19^th century, new political ideologies were emerging.  Communism and socialism were taking root in Europe, and to a lesser degree, her in the US as well.  Also, the progressive movement was emerging in the US.  The leading minds of these movements were aware of each other, and followed each other’s writings and actions closely.  It is safe to assume that they influenced each other.

When it became apparent that Europe was going to explode into war (WWI), there was much excitement among the socialists/communists.  They had been predicting that if war came, the proletariat would rise, and there would be a vast, international communist revolution.  They thought that under the stress, death, and deprivation that would come with a war, that the people would grow weary with their governments and economic systems, and “throw off their oppressors.”

It didn’t happen.  With the exception of Russia, there were no successful communist revolutions.  Communists certainly did make a nuisance of themselves, but the established order in the West held.  More surprising was the fact that many socialists were patriotic and supported their nations in the war.

This is a crucial point in history for the socialist movement, as schisms were created by their differing reactions and ideas about the failure of the international revolution.   The hard-core communists decided to use the USSR as a “base” from which to spread communism throughout the world.  A smaller group of communists in Germany decided to examine what caused the failure of the international.  Working from the “Frankfort School,” they tagged Western Culture as the culprit.  Since Western Culture promoted patriotism, individualism, religious faith, capitalism, and self-reliance, they argued, communism couldn’t take root.  Their mission, therefore, was to find ways to negate Western Culture, and allow communism to take over.  We’ll get back to the Cultural Marxists in a bit.

However, it doesn’t end there.  There was yet another wing.  Some socialists, particularly Mussolini, decided that rather than reject national pride and western culture, that they would embrace it and use it to justify their socialism.  The terms, “National Socialism and totalitarianism,” were, if memory serves, coined by Mussolini.  Since the international revolution failed, he postulated that they could be done in single nations instead-hence, National Socialism.  He proved that assumption in his takeover of Italy.  Franco (of Spain) and Hitler followed suit.

The fascists, you see, were socialists.  They used socialist rhetoric and policies.  While they didn’t take over the means of production, they controlled it completely via regulation.  They did redistribute wealth.  They did tax heavily.  They did institute massive levels of government intervention; like heavy regulation of industry, gun control, socialized medicine, and so on.  They simply used the individual cultures and histories of their nations as a “wrapper” for their policies, corrupting the culture to serve their ends.  Even Hitler himself suggested that the Nazis and the Bolsheviks had more in common than what separated them.  He simply saw them as a competing ideology, NOT an antithetical one.  From the opposite perspective, Lenin was said to lament the “loss” of Mussolini, as early in his career, Mussolini was a powerful and well thought of advocate of socialism.

At this point, it is also important to note that there was no “pure” versions of either communism or fascism.  In each nation or movement, there were wide variations in doctrine and application.  For example, fascist Italy did not rely on antisemitism to forward it’s goals.  While Mussolini wanted to restore an “Roman Empire,” Hitler espoused the superiority of the “Aryan Race.”  All had variations, just as Leninism was different from Stalinism.

Meanwhile, the progressives continued to grow in strength in the US as well.  While they never seemed to gain a doctrinal type of theory or organization, they did press foreword with all sorts of governmental controls, such as eugenics (forced sterilization), increased government control over banking, labor, industry, and so on.  Many prominent progressives were also were great admirers of both Mussolini and Hitler (until Hitler’s anti-Semitism became too inconvenient to ignore).  In turn, the Nazis took some pages out of the progressive’s playbook in terms of media manipulation and eugenics.

So, we see that the Socialists and fascists are not antithetical, but “brothers.”  They were separated by their differing opinions on how to spread socialism.  Progressivism was a cousin, or at least a fellow traveler of Socialism and fascism.  They all knew about each other, often spoke kindly of each other, and seem to have “cross pollinated” each other’s ideas.

But what happened to the Cultural Marxists?  They were booted from Germany when Hitler came to power, and they migrated to here, eventually settling at Columbia University, where they continued their work.  They proposed a “long march through the institutions” in order to destroy western culture.  They made good on that idea, and now, education, media, law, and even theology have all been “infected” with cultural Marxism.  Here is an excerpt from an article that I quoted in a previous post on Cultural Marxism.

The Frankfurt School again departed from orthodox Marxism, which argued that all of history was determined by who owned the means of production. Instead, they said history was determined by which groups, defined as men, women, races, religions, etc., had power or “dominance” over other groups. Certain groups, especially white males, were labeled “oppressors,” while other groups were defined as “victims.” Victims were automatically good, oppressors bad, just by what group they came from, regardless of individual behavior.

Does that sound familiar?  Or what about this?

Marcuse also widened the Frankfurt School’s intellectual work. In the early 1930s, Horkheimer had left open the question of who would replace the working class as the agent of Marxist revolution. In the 1950s, Marcuse answered the question, saying it would be a coalition of students, blacks, feminist women and homosexuals – the core of the student rebellion of the 1960s, and the sacred “victims groups” of political correctness today. Marcuse further took one of political correctness’s favorite words, “tolerance,” and gave it a new meaning. He defined “liberating tolerance” as tolerance for all ideas and movements coming from the left, and intolerance for all ideas and movements coming from the right. When you hear the cultural Marxists today call for “tolerance,” they mean Marcuse’s “liberating tolerance” (just as when they call for “diversity,” they mean uniformity of belief in their ideology).

The student rebellion of the 1960s, driven largely by opposition to the draft for the Vietnam War, gave Marcuse a historic opportunity. As perhaps its most famous “guru,” he injected the Frankfurt School’s cultural Marxism into the baby boom generation. Of course, they did not understand what it really was. As was true from the Institute’s beginning, Marcuse and the few other people “in the know” did not advertise that political correctness and multi-culturalism were a form of Marxism. But the effect was devastating: a whole generation of Americans, especially the university-educated elite, absorbed cultural Marxism as their own, accepting a poisonous ideology that sought to destroy America’s traditional culture and Christian faith. That generation, which runs every elite institution in America, now wages a ceaseless war on all traditional beliefs and institutions. They have largely won that war. Most of America’s traditional culture lies in ruins.

I would say that this is a correct assessment.

Needless to say, Cultural Marxism has infected all of our institutions.  When Obama said he associated with the “radical professors,” he was being steeped in Cultural Marxism.  The idea that it is somehow “unfair” that the US is so powerful and prosperous is part of that equation.  Think about many of Obama’s policies and actions, and you will see Cultural Marxism.

So, as a “progressive,” Obama stands on an intellectual base that has as its foundation, elements of fascism and Marxism.  Then, it’s finished off with a thick coat of Cultural Marxism.  It is safe to say that he is a fascist, socialist, and a “progressive.”  While none are exclusive, all are part of the foundation of his beliefs; and therefore, his actions.

The short answer to the question posed in the title to this piece is: NO!

The long answer is: NO!

The Obama Regime has managed to do more damage to the United States of America in eleven short months than any other presidential administration in the history of the republic! And it is only in its first year!

We are broke. We are demoralized. We are extremely worried about the future of the country and, even more importantly, how it is going to affect our children and grandchildren, and we ARE MAD — not angry – MAD!

Fellow Americans, we have a government out of control! That was never supposed to happen in America. The people are supposed to control the government. The people ARE the government! At least, we WERE. The people of the states created the federal government to act as an agent of the states, not the other way around. But, today, it is a topsy-turvey world in America, as the federal government demands the subservience of the states and the people of those states.

The socialists in the White House and the Congress are dragging America down to the level of a third world country at a speed that would have been unbelievable had we not lived through these past eleven months.

I hope Americans understand that we are LIVING HISTORY here! We have front row seats to the demise of the greatest country, ever, in the history of the planet.

As I said, Americans are MAD! This President’s popularity rating has dropped faster than that of any US president since the late 1940’s. This President has spent more money than all US presidents added together! He has spent so much, and borrowed so much, and run the countries debt up so high, that it will take generations to pay it down. On top of that, we, as a country, are about to lose our triple “A” credit rating!

And the spending continues! The socialists/democrats/progressives/communists are working quietly behind the scenes, hoping that you and I won’t notice, as they put together yet another “Stimulus” package. Of course, when it becomes public it will not be titled as a stimulus package. It will have some innocent sounding name, but, in fact, it will be another huge bailout batch of loot tossed down the sewer. This is more money that was, most likely, borrowed from Communist China. Obama tells us he is creating jobs. No, he isn’t. The government simply transfers jobs from the private sector to the public sector. No jobs are actually created. That is why unemployment remains high and rising while the President crows about how many jobs he has created.

There are few of us old codgers around who actually have some remembrance of all the public works jobs FDR “created” during the Great Depression. If you bother to look at the figures you will see that unemployment figures, even with all those jobs FDR created, remained in the double digits! Obama is doing the same thing. It is slight of hand. It LOOKS good but that is all. It is “misdirection, much as a magician, on stage, misdirects your attention elsewhere while he pockets the lost card.

Have you ever thought about how we are going to pay back all that money to China? Will we have to, oh, say, give them California to satisfy SOME of the loan? Or maybe Texas, or Alaska, or maybe they’ll take Florida, or they might be persuaded to take Yellowstone National Park as payment on the interest. As ridiculous as that may sound – it is not THAT far from the truth.

You know, we used to refer to the democrats as “Tax and Spend Democrats”. Now that they are Socialists, Marxists, and Communists, nothing has changed, except the mainstream Media is in the tank for them. You see, the Mainstream media is riddled to the core with men and women of the same socialist, Marxist and communist political philosophy and they are not about to bad mouth their fellow travelers in the current government of the US.

The Left has had enough time now to infiltrate the Journalism schools of our major universities and for decades, now, they have been turning out brand new socialist, Marxist, and communist journalists. The mainstream media is filled with them.

The question remains, however, of the survival of the United States after a four-year stint with Obama and his cadre of communists Czars. Can we survive? Honestly, I don’t see how it is possible. The damage the man has done, already, to the US will take generations to correct. We’re talking 30, 60, 120 years just to get us back to where we were upon his ascendancy to office.

It is an extremely costly mistake America made in electing Obama to the Presidency and handing over control of the Congress to the Socialist, Marxist, and Communists democrats. I only hope that once America has thrown off the yoke of Obama’s socialism it will forever forsake another experiment with socialism, Marxism, and communism. But, being realistic, I must say that we Americans, as a nation, have a short memory. In the decades ahead, we are sure to make this same mistake again. For the sake of the country, I hope there are enough men and women around who remember the Obama Regime and the damage it did to this country to enlighten the American electorate before it commits to another costly mistake.

We are a resilient people. We can suffer almost anything and survive, even triumph. But, dear reader, it will take everything we have to survive the Obama Regime. I would not bet on us making it.

Remember a few weeks ago, I wrote of Obama’s Chicago style politics? Well then, you were not blind-sided by the EPA’s move to declare their regulation of so-called greenhouse gases.

When you peel away the BS spewed by the EPA you will clearly see the ploy being used by the Obama Regime to say to the Congress, either YOU pass the Cap and Trade bill, or MY EPA will pass regulations that will regulate practically every aspect of American life from the home, to factory, to the office, to the church, to the automobile, — you name it — and the Obama Regime will be riding herd over every living American exhaling CO-2 today!

I have to ask – do YOU STILL THINK YOU LIVE IN A REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC? Because — if you do, you are living in a dream, a dream that is, as of today, turning into a nightmare!

We warned you the appointment of all those Obama “Czars” was simply another way to get around the Congress, the legal legislative branch of the former US government. That was before America went socialist (with the election of Comrade Obama) on the way to COMMUNISM.

Comrade Obama’s Czars have one reason to exist and that is to do the President’s bidding while bypassing the Congress.

The Congress doesn’t seem to know it yet but they are a weak, impotent, bunch of “useless idiots” Comrade Obama has used like cheap prostitutes to satisfy his immediate needs while his Czars, the “Gang of 39” settle in and prepare to rule America.

You see, dear reader, Obama no longer needs the Congress, they are superfluous, and, now with the use of the Comrades in the EPA, he has driven home that point to all but the most densely minded Congressperson and Senator in the Congress. After today’s Police State antics, by the EPA, the members of Congress ought to feel icky, dirty, and, yes, “used.” And it will get worse for them unless they toe the line.

Comrade Obama will continue to drive home the difficult-to-accept fact that he has seized power in Washington, for himself and his socialist/communist cadre, much as Napoleon crowned himself emperor. Comrade Obama will make that fact abundantly clear, over the weeks and months ahead, as he bypasses Congress in favor of his Czars whose departments can formulate “regulations that have the force of law.”

Now, what I have just described to you is a dictator. A dictator is a ruler who dictates how a country is run. In this case, Comrade Obama is not only going to dictate how the country is run, he is going to dictate how your home and your family is run! He is going to dictate how your factory is run, how your business is run, how many miles a month you can drive your vehicle, what kind of appliance you can have in your home, and it just goes on and on and on.

BIG BROTHER is loose in the land!

Take the blinders off America. We have a SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST in the White House and a cadre of SOCIALISTS/COMMUNISTS in that damnable bunch of sycophantic, like-minded, “Progressive Czars,” otherwise know as Obama’s Gang. (By the way, “PROGRESSIVE” was the word used by COMMUNISTS in early to mid 20th century America to self-describe themselves. They almost never, EVER, referred to themselves as “COMMUNISTS.” They referred to themselves as “Progressives.” I am of the opinion they have not changed – American “COMMUNISTS,” in Washington at least, still refer to themselves as “Progressives.” Remember that when you hear the crowd of so-called democrats in Washington refer to themselves as “Progressives” and remember — that word is a code word for COMMUNIST.) Step back, and, as we said, take off the blinders and look objectively at the Czars Comrade Obama has gathered around him and it is fairly easy to see they are his “Gang of 39.” Beginning on December 7th, 2009, that Gang may well have become the real government of the United States.

So what is it all about? It is about taking over the US government, crushing the “Representative Republic” that WAS America and turning America into a communist dictatorship with Comrade Obama and his Gang of 39 running EVERYTHING!

I heard a conservative commentator, on TV, the other night; declare that the American government is now a socialist government disguised as a GREEN GOVERNMENT. Ok, I can see that. Where did all those commies go when the Soviet Socialist Republic of Russia fell apart? They simply moved into the Green Movement, the so-called environmental movement. Oh yes! They are green on the outside – but — on the inside they are RED – as red as any “communist red” ever was! (Think Watermelon!)

I have concluded it is far too late to try to save our government. It is gone. Its demise was extremely fast. We have no representative government left in America. We are now moving into that dreaded Police State we conservatives have warned about for years. You may recall we warned that if Americans ever were weak enough (and dumb enough) to allow the so-called Progressives to gain control of the American government they would establish first — a socialist government and their Police State would follow close on it’s heels. . What you saw with the EPA’s regulation of so-called greenhouse gases, was the installation of the Communist Police State in America. What you saw when Comrade Obama’s EPA released and made public its decision to regulate greenhouse gases, including CO-2, was the opening shot fired across the bow of the Congress. It said, as plainly as is possible: “Congress, you are no longer needed! From now on we make the rules!”

They are correct. Congress IS irrelevant. Congress is not needed any longer, In fact, Congress ought to disband and go home and cower in their closets and basements until Comrade Obama’s own brand of the KGB kicks in their door, at three in the morning, and drags them away to a re-education center in the Mohave Desert somewhere.

In less than a year, Comrade Obama has very nearly destroyed this country. If Americans are to save enough of the US to rebuild after Comrade Obama has left the stage, we are going to have to go underground – and soon — for we will be hunted down and neutralized. Call it paranoia if you like, but when everyone IS out to get you, then Paranoia is darn good thinking!

When a leader thinks he is strong enough to emasculate the Congress then he is surely demented enough to believe he can extinguish the flame of freedom and liberty now, admittedly, flickering in our doubtful and troubled hearts.

I have said before that I suspect the November 2008 election was likely the last free election America will have. It is not difficult to slam the only door Americans have to those now nearly impotent leaders we ELECTED to represent us. Declaring a National Emergency, due to a collapsing national economy, and suspending elections, as well as the constitution, just isn’t that difficult to do, especially when you have your own socialist/communist government as Comrade Obama does, to back you up.

Alarmist? You bet I am alarmed! And you should be, as well!

“Tailgunner” Joe McCarthy, a 1950s U.S. Senator who lent his name to any effort to expose America’s enemies, was right. At the height of his fame, he said the U.S. government was shot through with communists, many of whom were participating in a vast espionage effort orchestrated by the Soviets.

Though McCarthy was singularly unsuccessful in uncovering communists within the government during Eisenhower’s first term, the “Army-McCarthy” hearings, April 22 to June 17, 1954, were televised for all to see and he became one of the best known anti-communists of his day. Were there Communists and spies for the Soviet Union? Yes, but we would not learn more until a young Senator from California, Richard M. Nixon identified Alger Hiss, a high-ranking State Department official as one.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s, the records that became available to historians and other scholars confirmed McCarthy’s worst fears.

During the 1930s and 1940s, communism appealed to many Americans. Some had soured on capitalism because of the Great Depression. Others saw communism at work in the Soviet Union and, believing the propaganda, concluded it was a viable alternative to capitalism. It would take a speech by Soviet Prime Minister Nikita Krushchev to draw back the curtain and reveal the horrors of living under Stalin.

Then, as now, communists found a home in the American labor movement and among the liberal elites of the Democrat Party who saw in the New Deal the way to transform America into a socialist nation, as well as among America’s intellectuals on its college campuses. Not much has changed.

One of the founders of the “Weathermen” group that conducted a number of bombings in the 1960s is now a “distinguished professor” at the University of Illinois—Chicago. Bill Ayers is also a longtime, close friend of Barack Obama.

Sen. McCarthy was quite possibly the worst person of his era to lead the investigation of communist infiltration and Soviet espionage. He was bombast and a boozer. In August 1954, a Senate committee released a report censoring him for having abused his power as a committee chairman. He would remain in the Senate, but his days of glory were over. His drinking increased and in May 1957 he died from acute hepatitis.

The sad irony of McCarthy’s story is that the government was, indeed, filled with communist sympathizers, known as “fellow travelers”, and with Soviet-run spies. The story can be found in “The Venona Secrets: Exposing Soviet Espionage and America’s Traitors” by Herbert Romerstein and Eric Breindel. “Venona” was the U.S. code word given to secret Soviet spy communications.

Venona revealed the full extent of the spying that was occurring. Venona documented that Harry Hopkins, a close friend and advisor to Franklin D. Roosevelt was also a spy. Both the FDR and Truman administrations were chockablock with communists. The Venona program of interception and analysis ran from February 1943 to 1980.

In the post-war years, the U.S. created the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency to discover and monitor not just the Soviets, but many other enemies of the nation.

A significant example is the way the Soviets were able to build their own atomic bomb long before their own scientists ever could thanks to their espionage program. There were many others who were known in spy craft as “agents of influence”. One of them was I.F. Stone who wrote a widely read newsletter that provided cover for the actual spies and their activities. Stone continues to be hailed in journalism circles as an outstanding investigative reporter.

Among the Soviet spies were the Rosenbergs who were found guilty of passing atomic bomb secrets to the Soviets. The most famous spy of that era was Alger Hiss who at one point served as the director of the Office of Special Political Affairs in the State Department. He would go on to serve as the secretary general of the founding conference of the United Nations and later become president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

The current attacks on the CIA, include a statement by the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who said “They lie to us all the time.” The Obama Justice Department has re-opened an investigation into interrogation techniques of the CIA as a further effort to discredit the Agency. If you don’t believe this is at the direction of President Obama, you’re being naïve.

In “The Venona Secrets”, the authors note that a classic Stalinist tactic was “demonizing an opponent and then using his vilified name in a broad-brush smear against anyone who challenged Communist views or activities.” This is why the term “McCarthyism” has entered our political vocabulary. This is also what is occurring right now as former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Governor Sarah Palin, get the treatment.

How can you spot a communist sympathizer in the U.S. Congress? You can visit the website of the “Progressive Caucus” where, as of February 2009, more than 80 members of the House, including two from the Senate, self-identify themselves as progressives. “Progressive” was the term communists used after the McCarthy era. It is still in use today.

Some of the progressive caucus members are Ed Markey and Henry Waxman, co-authors of the “Cap-and-Trade bill that would impose a huge tax on all energy use in America. You will find Charles Rangel, currently under ethics investigation for having hidden hundreds of thousands of dollars from authorities. Barney Frank, the “brains” behind Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s purchase of millions in worthless mortgage loans, is a member. He is the godfather of a meltdown on Wall Street that remains a threat to our capitalist economy.

A significant number of the caucus are Afro-Americans. They include Jesse Jackson, Jr., John Conyers, Barbara Lee, Maxine Waters, Donald Payne, and Bobby Rush to name just a few.

With the collapse of the former Soviet Union, many former communists became “environmentalists”, often playing major roles in the many organizations serving that cause.

Among President Obama’s ever-expanding circle of “czars” is Carol Browner, the former Clinton-era director of the Environmental Protection Agency (1993-2000) whose latest appointment also revealed that she served on the Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which is part of Socialist International. Her association with the group has since been scrubbed from their website.

Most obvious and notorious is Van Jones who has never made a secret of his political preference for communism and who is Obama’s new “Green Jobs” czar. The links between the environmental movement and communist goals are numerous, nor should it surprise anyone that the “global warming” hoax was birthed in the bowels of the United Nations.

Today, thanks to the way history is taught in America’s government schools, the threat to freedom that communism posed then and still does pose, is barely a subject for discussion. When he was still an adolescent in Hawaii, President Obama came under the influence of Frank Marshall Davis, a widely known communist in the 1950s.

Obama is completely at home with communists, but is ironically being attacked by the nation’s far Left for not fulfilling their dream of the complete transformation of the nation from capitalism to socialism fast enough.

The destruction of the nation’s economy is necessary to complete the transformation and it is only the outrage and protests of Americans that will save us from a fate that has been and remains the goal of the nation’s communist enemies.
