I never forgot it. When I was maybe eight years old, I saw the picture, The Battle of the Bulge, for the first time. I didn’t get the point of the title, but I did get “Nuts!”

That was the response, on December 22, 1944, of Brig. Gen. Anthony C. McAuliffe to the demand by the Gerries, who had laid siege to us four days before in the Belgian town of Bastogne, that we surrender.

McAuliffe’s Web page at Arlington National Cemetery calls his one-word response “probably the most famous quote of World War II.” It became synonymous with the American can-do spirit.

Beginning on December 16, the Germans had made one last, bold, mad offensive, and broke through Allied lines, causing a “bulge.”

Bastogne was a hub of seven roads, which made it crucial for the Germans’ westward thrust, and thus it was crucial for us to stop them there.

Bastogne was hopeless. Due to inclement weather, we had no air support, and dwindling supplies. The town was occupied by the paratroopers of McAuliffe’s 101st Airborne Division, crack soldiers, to be sure, but men who were overmatched in numbers and weaponry by the encircling German forces. And yet, our boys held until the bad weather cleared, and we could get them air support and fresh supplies. We had inspired leadership, fresh troops, and good morale, while the Germans were weary, and their morale low. And then, on December 26, it was the Gerries who were surrendering.

And that helped break the back of the German offensive.

My mom says that my late Uncle Irwin, who made it to sergeant in the war, and then went back for more in Korea, fought in the Battle of the Bulge, but I don’t know if he was at Bastogne.

During Memorial Day weekend, my 11-year-old and I had the pleasure of watching Battleground (1949), the first movie depiction of the Battle of Bastogne.

Shortly before McAuliffe’s 46th birthday, he “parachuted into Normandy [with his men] on D-Day and … entered Holland by glider.”

A mere 19 days after McAuliffe’s men won the Battle of Bastogne, FDR awarded him the Distinguished Service Cross…

…for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving as Acting Commander, 101st Airborne Division, in action against enemy forces from 17 to 26 December 1944, at Bastogne, Belgium.

During this period General McAuliffe was in command of the 101st Airborne Division during the siege of Bastogne, Belgium, by overwhelming enemy forces. Though the city was completely surrounded by the enemy, the spirit of the defending troops under this officer’s inspiring, gallant leadership never wavered. Their courageous stand is epic.

General McAuliffe continuously exposed himself to enemy bombing, strafing, and armored and infantry attacks to personally direct his troops, utterly disregarding his own safety.

Brigadier General McAuliffe’s courage, fearless determination and inspiring, heroic leadership exemplify the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflect great credit upon himself, the 101st Airborne Division, and the United States Army.

Which brings us to Cong. Allen West (R, FL), who is a retired Army lieutenant colonel. The jihadis at CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) demanded that West surrender, and denounce what they called “Anti-Islamic” groups, to which he has ties. Channeling the spirit of “General Mac,” the Congressman replied with a letter that simply said, “NUTS!”

That our Moslem enemies should fail to understand West’s response was to be expected. And I suppose it was to be expected that the MSM didn’t get it, either, under the category of shocking, but unsurprising. After all, they’re just as much our enemies as the jihadis, whom they support.

The matter most important to the alleged reporter supposedly covering the story for CBS News, Gio Benitez, who knows considerably less American history than my 11-year-old, was that he pronounce his name as if he were in a Latin American country. Senor Benitez told viewers, “This letter is extremely short, and nobody seems to know exactly what it means.”

But the people on the street interviewed by Benitez didn’t get it, either, and stupidly criticized West. “It doesn’t look too professional to me. It doesn’t look too thought out,” said one forty-something white man.

“Uh, maybe another sentence. Explaining?,” said an attractive woman in her thirties with a Spanish accent.

In its exquisite simplicity and powerful symbolism, West’s response could not have been better thought out, and explaining it would have ruined it.

Not that those dunces would have supported him, anyway.

One of the crack researchers at Benitez’ station then googled, apparently, and found what all patriotic Americans already knew, which the intrepid Senor Benitez announced as a scoop:

“Then we found this. During World War II, Gen. Anthony McAuliffe famously wrote a one-word letter to the Germans in response to a surrender ultimatum. The word used? Nuts!”

How can Benitez call it “famous,” if he’d never heard of it? Either the letter wasn’t famous, or he’s an utterly incompetent, affirmative action hire.

Benitez: [CAIR Jihadi Nezar] “Hamze doesn’t think he’ll ever find out what Congressman West meant with the word, because, he says, West has turned down all meetings with CAIR Florida.”

That’s funny. The Gerries figured it out, back in ‘44. Then again, back then the typical German officer knew more about American culture than today’s typical jihadi, reconquista, or media saboteur/insurgent. Heck, those people glory in their ignorance of American culture.

When Benitez asked CAIR Florida jihadi Nezar Hamze what he would say to West, Hamze replied, “I’d tell him to grow up, you know, to act like a congressman, and engage in dialogue, and to stop the schoolboy insults.”

What is there to talk about? The terms of surrender? To jihadis, “dialogue” has the same meaning that it does for black racists: ‘We dictate, and you submit, while nodding in assent.’

Benitez: “Now West did turn down an interview request from CBS4 News, and we are still waiting for a statement from his office.”

West had already made his statement.

Let me get this right. Even after one of the station’s researchers learned the meaning of “Nuts!,” the jihadi and Benitez still don’t understand what West said? No; they couldn’t possibly be that stupid. What they are saying is that they refuse to accept what West said, and want to wear him down, by demanding that he “explain” himself.

I don’t need to read any polls to know that Congressman West just got himself a big surge among patriots.

So, how’s he on immigration? According to NumbersUSA, where illegal immigration is concerned, he’s as good as it gets. I was unable to determine the Congressman’s position on legal immigration.

Remember, “You can have any color you want, as long as it’s black.”

Barenaked Islam posted a CAIR video featuring  audio clips critical of Islam, labeling them Islamophobia.  Barenaked Islam exploits the definition of Islamophobia.

It isn’t Islamophobia when they really ARE trying to kill you.

Phobia means irrational fear.  Since the death of thousands nearly nine years ago,  we know that fear of Islam is rational.

Those who have sampled Islam’s canon of scripture, tradition, biography, exegesis and jurisprudence know that revulsion is a rational reaction to Islamic doctrine & practice.

The video is entitled “Islamophobia A growing problem”.   What is problematic?  A slowly growing segment of our society is becoming aware of Islam, the hatred it inculcates and the violence it sanctifies  and incites.

CAIR does not want us to know that Islam is intrinsically violent; that it has declared and is prosecuting  war and subversion against us.

The unspoken subtext is “Islamophobia” breeds intolerance, contempt and assault”.   Intolerance of the intolerable is a good thing.  Islam can not be tolerated because it is intolerant, supremacist and genocidally aggressive.

Knowing the truth about Islam and Muslims, awareness of the fact that we need to get rid of them does not imply assault, murder or arson.   Those acts are crimes in our society, and  offenders are prosecuted.    Reasonable people are not advocating murdering Muslims or bombing Mosques.  We  advocate outlawing Islam, closing the Mosques and deporting the Muslims for our protection and the preservation of our way of life.

The video begins with a clip from a Dan Fanelli  campaign spot.  The narrator says “Rising Islamophobia in our nation endangers the rights of  American Muslims and creates unjustified fear and hostility towards Islam.”

What rights are endangered?  How are they endangered?  Is there a right not to be recognized as a threat to our system of government and way of life?

Able bodied adult male Muslims who are not indebted nor enslaved are bound by a “religious obligation” classified as fard al-kifaya, to engage in attacks against nearby disbelievers.  That obligation is specified in Reliance of the Traveller, Book O, Chapter 9.1.

The second segment begins with this heading “U.S. Senator James Inhofe advocating profiling of Middle Eastern men when speaking at a Senate hearing. ”

The clip shows the Senator saying “I believe in racial and ethnic profiling.”

CAIR is attacking common sense.  All of the recent Islamic terror attacks were perpetrated by young Muslim males.   Anyone not suspicious of young men from areas of the world where Islam predominates  is several cards short of a full deck.

When it comes to Islamic terrorism, Muslims are the natural prime suspects.  Lets solve this problem by excluding all Muslims from all mass transit.

Congresswoman Sue Myrick is up next  “there are people who literally are willing to blow themselves up like this guy did–to commit jihad because they believe in a bigger cause and that cause is what they want to do to us: they want to destroy western democracies, they want to bring down America, they want us to live by their rules.”
CAIR’s  objection to her honest statement of fact speaks volumes about CAIR and about Islam.

Next we are treated to a sign, outside the Dove World Church, which says “Islam is of the devil.”.  The narrator says “Anti-Islam rhetoric has become more explicit and more extreme since the 9/11 attacks.”

No mention of relevance or veracity, just how explicit and extreme it is.  We are to assume that Islam and Christianity share a common deity since both are monotheistic. If there is only one deity, they must be the same.  But “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son…”. Contrast that with Allah, who rubbed Adam’s shoulders to produce one group of people for the fire and another for Paradise.  In Surah al-Anfal 67, Allah told Moe that he could not hold captives for ransom until he had “made a great slaughter”. He said Moe wanted booty, but Allah wanted to get Moe into Paradise.  Does the Christian God require genocide?   If  the Dove World Church believes and wants to tell the world that Allah is demonic, that is their right, ain’t it?

Next we have Congressman Peter King saying “Unfortunately, we have too many Mosques in this country, there is too many people sympathetic to radical Islam, we should be looking at them more carefully. ”

I view that as a rare episode of candor, of which we need more, not less.   CAIR views it as “Islamophobia”.

The narrator says “anti-Islam views  expressed by elected officials, can severely impact the ability of American Muslims to engage in the positive civic participation  that is every American’s right.”.  That statement comes over the image of Geert Wilders speaking at an American synagogue.

“Admit that Islam is not a religion, admit that Islam is a totalitarian ideology, in other words, the rights to religious freedom do not apply to the totalitarian ideology called Islam.”

That is a pretty tough admission to make, and, to  the best of my knowledge, no American elected officials have made it.

The fact is that Islam is not a religion; it is a way of life: intra-species predation.  Islam’s religious component serves as a control mechanism to motivate Muslims to go to war and as a camouflage to prevent us from recognizing it as a predator.

The caption for the next segment  is “Right-wing commentator Ann Coulter”.  She says: “I said we are at war with all these fanatics and we should invade their countries, kill their leaders  and convert them to Christianity.”.

Ann just told you why we are losing in Afghanistan & Iraq: they are still Muslim.  That is a fatal fact, too hot for most to suggest, far to hot for politicians to state explicitly.

Next up: “Christian televangelist Pat Robertson”, who cuts loose with this classic remark.  “…then if the religion involves beheading infidels and pouring boiling oil down their throats”….

Islam is not a religion, but it does involve beheading infidels, as we saw in the case of Nick Berg and others.  The boiling oil comes later, after we arrive in the Hell fire.  But the decapitation is commanded in Surah al-anfal 12.
Pastor Rod Parsley is up next. “Islam is an anti-Christ religion that intends through violence to conquer the world.”

Horrible! Pastor Parsley confused deen with religion, which is only part of the deen.  We see Islamic advertisements that claim Jesus Christ as a “Prophet of Islam”.  But those advertisements do not tell us that, according to their scripture, Jesus was not crucified, did not die and was not resurrected.  Nor do they tell us that he will return to lead the Muslims in battle and the final genocide against us.   Lying is as much by what they conceal as what they dissemble.

Franklin Gaham is up next. “True Islam can not be practiced in this country. You can’t beat your wife,  you cannot murder your children if you think they have committed adultery or something like that, which they do practice in some…”

True, Islam does permit wife beating and honoricide. It also permits having as many as four wives at once.  It permits a Muslim to divorce his wife by saying “I divorce you” three times.   All of those things are contrary to American law.

Next up, saving the best for next to last, we have Pamela Geller, among signs endorsing liberty, memorializing the slain  and condemning Codoba House,  telling it as it is.

“This is an insult, it is demeaning, this is humiliating, that you would build a shrine to the very ideology that inspired the attacks of 9/11″.

Geller is followed by a man I do not recognize saying “This house of evil will be the birthplace of the next terrorist event.”

Perhaps, but the plot could, and likely will be hatched somewhere else. But the fact remains, that in every Mosque, Jews and Christians are cursed five times  every day when they recite the first Surah of the Qur’an as part of  their prayers.  Fifteen Muslims died in a Mosque in Afghanistan when the bomb they were building detonated prematurely.

Our narrator returns.  “Whether it is anti-Muslim commentators, extremist religious leaders,  Muslim bashing politicians or fear mongering dvds sent to millions of American homes, Islam and the American Muslim community are being targeted by hate and intolerance.  But with your help, Islamophobia can be challenged and overcome through education and understanding.  ”

The wise gentlemen who founded this nation gave us something most of the world lacks: the right of free inquiry and expression.  we are free to  investigate institutions and issues; free to share what we learn.  Our founders knew that the right to accurate criticism of government policy and candidates for office is an absolute requirement for the preservation of liberty.  If we can not identify threats to our liberty  and accurately describe them, we can not preserve liberty.

Islam presents a clear, proximate & persistent threat to our liberty.  Islam, through the offices of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, seeks to criminalize all criticism of Islam.    Islamic law forbids, under penalty of death, the reviling of Allah, Moe & Islam.  If you are a conquered Christian living in Egypt or Pakistan, any negative statement ab out Islam, true or not, gets you tortured and killed.

Every year, they ram “defamation of religion” resolutions through the UNHRC & General Assembly.   Those resolutions specifically condemn and demand the criminalization of all association of Islam & terrorism.  Casting terror is sanctified by 3:151 and  commanded by 8:12.  It is exemplified by 33:26-27.  Moe bragged about it, as recorded in Sahih Bukhari 4.52.220.   If they get their way, they’ll be able to fine me and throw me in prison for publishing this fatal fact.

In November, the Ad Hoc Committee for the Elaboration of Contemporary Standards will meet again to formulate their proposed protocol to ICERD. The protocol will have the force of law, trumping the First Amendment.  We absolutely must stop those fiends from stifling free speech!  We must rise up as one, disrespectfully demanding the preservation of our hard won rights.  Once lost, recovering those rights will be a difficult, bloody, costly and probably impossible quest.

It is a little know fact that unenforced provisions of ICERD, ICCPR & \CPPCG require that Islam be proscribed by law.   We need to obtain enforcement of those human rights covenants before Islam can  modify them to use against us.   We have one instrument we can use:

For the love of liberty, sign that petition, copy it, paste it into an email and send it to everyone you can influence. Urge the recipients to sign and forward it. Make it go viral.  Put a link to it on your blog or web site.   If you won’t do that, you don’t value your life and liberty enough to deserve them.

It was not without good reason that Moe warned his companions not to carry the Qur’an into Dar ul-harb .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade travelling with a Qur’an in the land of the enemy. Malik commented, “That is out of fear that the enemy will get hold of it.”

They need to make it illegal to criticize Islam.  We need to stop them.

CAIR Video: One Man’s Fight Against Islamophobia
CAIR’s National Executive Director, Nihad Awad was interviewed by Dan Harris of ABC News April 20, ’10, stemming from CAIR’s objection to an interview with Wafa Sultan.  I found this eight minute, 55 second video at Bare Naked Islam.

The video begins with  brief excerpts from a speech and interview with Wafa Sultan. I suspect that the excerpts come from the Freedom Defense Initiative  at CPAC in March. Video from that interview  was found at Atlas Shrugs.  The video confirmed  my suspicion. Of course, the only “islamophobia” in the video was in brief  cuts from her appearances on Al Jazeera.

I hope to select and transcribe the most egregious lies from Nihad Awad’s interview.  Do not assume that my transcription is word for word perfect, my hearing is poor, Awad speaks softly, and my computer’s sound card is weak.

Wafa Sultan was shown telling FDI that “We must deal with the evil of Islam right now” so that our children won’t have to deal with it…”so that the next generation can live in peace”.  Harris wanted to know what bothered Awad about that interview. .

“From the beginning we strongly believe in free speech. People are entitled to their opinions no matter how wrong they are. But when a person of this nature is interviewed and not challenged; is not opposed or there is no balance in  the presentation, you feel that something was missing and that the racist remarks she made and allegations that she made against Muslims as a whole defies logic–defies common sense and basic knowledge… people learn about Islam–they know about Islam–she just reinforces stereotypes and  mis-information and she was not challenged.”

Islam does not believe in free speech.  Islam forbids denial, questioning, sarcasm & reviling Allah, his messenger, the Qur’an and the doctrines derived from it.

Mentioning anything “impermissible”  about Islam is one of the violations of dhimma which can cause a dhimmi to lose his protection from Muslims and be killed. The list of attitudes and acts entailing apostasy is documented here;  the list of acts prohibited to dhimmis is documented here.

There was nothing inflammatory in the brief interview with Wafa Sultan. The closest she came to “Islamophobia” was in the clip from her speech at FDI when she mentioned “the evil of Islam”.  There wasn’t anything concrete to counter in that interview, which lacked ideological detail.

The allegation of racist remarks is absolutely unfounded.  Sultan explicitly stated that her opposition was to Islam, not to Muslims. Islam is not a race; it has enslaved and victimized people of several races.  What  allegations did she make “against Muslims as a whole”?  She said that Islam is evil, and it is.  Islam  is violent, ordaining warfare, praising self sacrifice in battle against disbelievers as the best deed. Allah sanctifies terrorism and demands genocide. Islam declared war, permanent war,  until the entire world is conquered.

Asked about intolerance, of which Islam is accused,  Awad replied:

” That is just dead wrong, because Islamic history shows different than what people claim and the Qur’an…the best answer is from the Qur’an, otherwise, if you hear from someone as he would say… trying to spin the issue… the Qur’an emphasizes freedom, freedom of thought and religion…’let there be no compulsion in religion’ this comes direct from the Qur’an, nobody can misunderstand it, nobody can misinterpret it.  You can not force people to believe and act … these are the words in the Qur’an. ”

Islamic history shows extreme intolerance. I refer to the Pact of  Umar. Hitler did not invent distinctive clothing for Jews, he adopted it from Islam. 3:85 clearly declares that choosing a religion other than Islam will never be accepted. Muslims are instructed, when encountering Jews & Christians on the road, not to greet them first and to shove them into the ditch.  Doubt me? Then look it up: Sunan Abu Dawud 41.5186.

“No compulsion…” comes from 2:256. 3:110 declares believing Muslims to be the “best of peoples”; the meaning of that verse is explained in Sahih Bukhari 6.60.80 : ” means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam. “.

Asked about the treatment of women in KSA, for example:

” You have to differentiate between culture and religion and sometimes there is a big difference between the two. My understanding of my faith … women are not only protected but they can be leaders in the Muslim World, when you look at Pakistan, Turkey and Bangladesh, they can be leaders in the Muslim world. ”

Awad is playing a subtle semantic game.  Islam is not a religion, it is a deen: way of life.  It encompasses all aspects of human activity, culture included.  Women are chattel  property, “tilth“, literally a field to be plowed and seeded. They are inferior to men, deemed deficient. Moe had something pertinent to say about female rulers : When Allah’s Apostle was informed that the Persians had crowned the daughter of Khosrau as their ruler, he said, “Such people as ruled by a lady will never be successful.”

Asked about the aftermath of 9-11; Islamophobia :

“Our job is getting more difficult every day although we see a new tone in the  new administration, we see a hand extended to the Muslim world, …we see a positive speech toward Muslims and a tone of reconciliation; but I believe the situation overall is getting worse. Islamophobia  is being accelerated in the United States, I haven’t seen clergy or political leader who stands up and pushes against bigotry against Muslims. ”

“Islamophobia” implies irrational fear and loathing of Islam.  After 9-11, considering the untimely deaths of approximately 270*10⁶ people in the last 1400 years, fear and loathing of Islam is not irrational. Muslims label well documented blog posts such as this “Islamophobia”.

If the media were more responsible, and our leaders were better, isn’t your job made more difficult by the identity of the terrorists …

“Its important to recognize that the majority of Muslims and organizations including ours, leaders and clergy in the United States and around the world have condemned 9-11 and I believe we were the first organization on the face of the earth to condemn 9-11 but months and years after that we are always confronted on some national television show: ‘where are the moderate Muslims–where is the condemnation’ and we say we did, but who is listening? Which national network has displayed or communicated or shown our condemnation?  I think our voices are somehow excluded and ignored because as we say ‘if it bleeds, it leads’ .  Maybe our statements are not amusing to the ear of people who are accustomed to seeing violence on television but they do not see Muslim leaders coming to condemn this violence.  We are condemning the violence, but we do not want to be defined by condemning violence.  There are seven million Muslims  in the United States.  There are engineers, doctors, public servants, educators,  they do great work to make America better every day; I’d like to see stories about these people …  I do not want to see my faith, which has been hijacked by a very tiny minority in the world, to be defined by their acts while the majority of us are having to stand up and condemn the acts of the few. ”

So they condemned the attack on the World Trade Center. Wonderful, now we should form a circle, hold hands and sing Kumbaya.  Yeah, right.  Malicious malarkey!  They condemn attacks on “innocents”; another semantic game tactic.  Only Muslims can be innocent.  Anyone who is not Muslim is a rebel against Allah, who deserves to be killed.  5:33 prescribes hudud for those who “wage war against Allah”.  That expression is defined in Ibn Kathir’s tafsir of that verse:

“`Wage war’ mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. “.

Take note of the word I highlighted in that definition; disbelief = waging war against Allah.  They will not denounce, condemn and abjure the damnable doctrines which sanctify and mandate offensive conquest, genocide & terrorism because that would be an act entailing apostasy.

Seven minutes and forty eight seconds into the interview, Awad tells the big lie: ” I do not want to see my faith, which has been hijacked by a very tiny minority in the world, to be defined by their acts while the majority of us are having to stand up and condemn the acts of the few. ”

Islam has not been hijacked. As previously documented, casting terror is an intrinsic sacrament of Islam and offensive conquest is a permanent mandate, in the course of which genocide must be performed. The founder of Islam was a terrorist.  Have you read the Qur’an?  Try 33:26-27.  Even if you never read another hadith, read Sahih Bukhari 4.52.220.

Eight minutes and twelve seconds into the interview,  asked if he gets threats, Awad answers in the affirmative, during which statement, he is framed in the camera’s viewfinder as if to simulate the view through an assassin’s telescopic rifle sight.  he says that when he speaks sincerely, from his heart people listen and believe him.   Those must be rare occasions, rare indeed.

Act! for America is calling on Congress to open an official investigation of CAIR in the wake of their designation as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case and the   publication of Muslim Mafia.

We Call on the U.S. Government to Conduct an Immediate and Thorough Investigation into the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in the Interest of National Security

We are GREATLY CONCERNED about past and ongoing activities by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and look to our U.S. Government to immediately commence a thorough investigation into the organization, including its leadership, affiliates and activities.

We REMIND our elected officials that CAIR has documented ties to the terrorist organization Hamas and that CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial (a trial that ended with guilty verdicts on 108 counts of funneling $12 million to Hamas).

We REMIND our elected officials that CAIR has individuals either under its current or former employ, or as its affiliates, who have direct ties to terrorism both in the U.S. and abroad: such as Nihad Awad, CAIR’s current national executive director, who participated in a meeting about how to disguise payments to Hamas terrorists as charity; Abdurahman Alamoudi, a CAIR director who is now serving 23 years in federal prison for plotting terrorism; and Omar M. Ahmad, CAIR’s founder and former chairman, who was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land case, to name but a few examples.

We are deeply CONCERNED at recent reports that CAIR has worked to undermine U.S. law enforcement by tipping off suspected terrorists under investigation, and by directing Muslim-Americans to not cooperate with the F.B.I.

We are DISMAYED that, despite these facts, CAIR continues to be the primary group consulted by both media and government agencies with regard to the Muslim-American community.

In the name of true transparency, therefore, we REQUEST that Congress and the Administration support the following investigative actions:

• The U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE share with each member of the U.S. Congress an executive summary of the findings that led them to name CAIR as a co-conspirator in a terrorism case.
• The House Sergeant at Arms work with all Members of Congress and their top staff, particularly those Members who sit on the House Judiciary, Homeland Security, and Intelligence Committees, to perform background checks on staff under their employ, considering evidence that CAIR has strategically worked to place staffers there.
• The U.S. Internal Revenue Service perform a full and thorough investigation into the business activities of CAIR, specifically their lobbying activities, to judge if they are in violation of their federal non-profit status as a 501c3 organization.

Further, we REJECT all attempts by CAIR to discredit those who call for a formal investigation into their organization by falsely arguing such action is “anti-Muslim.” This has been an oft-used distraction tactic of theirs, and it is time it came to an end. This issue is about CAIR and only CAIR.

We REMIND our elected officials that their primary responsibility to our nation’s citizens is to PROTECT AND DEFEND, and we therefore URGE them to take immediate action on this matter.
