The actual truth is earmarks don’t increase the federal budget one dime. However, they have become meaningless rhetoric to rally the angry voters starting with John McCain’s gutless, mismanaged, and uninspiring presidential campaign and now Billy Long believes fighting earmarks is his way to Washington.
If natural progression holds true, next will come the National RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip implanted at birth. It will broadcast a radio signal all the days of your life telling the government who you are, and where you are, at all times. National ID, of any kind, takes away one of your basic rights, the right to privacy.
The Founding Fathers of America understood that a strong central government would never work in a republican form of government, the form of government they gave the American people. They knew that. They had just declared the independence of Americans from the “strong central government” of King George of Great Britain.
Government feeders fear the zero like nothing else. Better to cut the budget 95 percent. Then, like the German Army after WWI, it could survive with a skeleton staff, until the return of tax–and–spend Democrats puts new taxpayer–funded flesh on those patiently waiting bones.
Ok, let me see if I can break it down for you. What Obama is planning to do is: Take you savings, the money you have squirreled away for your retirement in 401-K’s and IRA’s, and hand you an IOU with which they will promise to pay you a small annuity each month of your retirement.
Being ignorant of the intent of our nation’s Founding Fathers, of the limitations on the federal government found in the U.S. Constitution, of the deliberate separation of powers in our government’s executive, judicial, and legislative branches, and of history in general puts people at a disadvantage to recognize a threat to the nation and their freedom.
In the upcoming “summit” between Obama and the Republicans on his ObamaCare proposal… you know, the one the American people have flatly rejected… you can forget the democrats tossing out anything in the current proposal. Ain’t gonna happen. The dems, with the added weight of Obama, hope to overwhelm the Republicans and force them into folding.
Here in America, there are some 235 million people who listen to radio every week. A performance tax would reduce, not just the amount of music you hear on you favorite radio station, it would reduce the number of stations. Among the hardest hit stations would be the minority-owned stations.
The POTUS has appointed avowed Marxists (or STRONGLY left-leaning) individuals to positions of power, while at the same time, trying to talk as if he were a moderate. This would seem to suggest that he wants to forward a Marxist agenda, and he is appointing people to do it for him.
Proponents of corporate personhood believe that corporations, as representatives of their shareholders, were intended by the Founders and Framers to enjoy many, if not all, of the same rights as natural persons, for example: the right against self-incrimination, the right to privacy and the right to lobby the government.
ObamaCare is a death sentence to the democratic majority in the Congress and will certainly relegate Obama, himself, to the long list of one term democratic presidents. To pass the bill is suicide for the democrats and they are hell bent on doing just that! Their work continues in the shadows of locked rooms as they devise alternate plans to get that bill to the President’s desk for his signature.
The government has proven that it also cannot protect the American people from Terrorists, Criminals, or mad coyotes. In fact, by removing, the ability of the law-abiding citizen to carry legally on airplanes the government made it possible for those terrorists to murder several thousand people. And yet, the hard left would have you believe that it was the people and not the government, that the gun is at fault and not the people.
Between now an the November Mid-term election Americans can prepare for yet another attempt by the democrats to shove through the Congress an Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill. Oh, it won’t be called that, of course, but in essence, that will be exactly the intent of the bill. Look for a bill with the keywords “Immigration Reform” in it.
President Obama has repeatedly bragged how he would finish what FDR started. His regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, even wrote a book outlining how government (not We the People) would finally be free from the constraints of the Constitution: “The Second Bill of Rights.” Sunstein’s thesis – that there are no God-given or natural rights, but basically rights that the government gives or takes away according to its own expediency and caprice.
All the while, they’ll deny limiting free speech. They won’t jail anyone. They won’t make anyone disappear, but they will use more subtle means to silence bloggers, or anyone else that disagrees with them. And all the while, they’ll couch their fascism in kind terms. That is what is makes it difficult to define. Always remember that totalitarians never announce themselves, or their true intent. They never tell you the real agenda.
The Founders and Framers foresaw a limited government subject to the States. Today it is exactly the opposite. Now the states are subject to the federal government. In other words the creation of the States… namely, the Federal Government has become a “Frankenstein” of sorts. This was NOT what the founders and framers intended. Not by a long shot.
Legitimate questions have been raised about how Obamacare is going to be paid for, and it appears that this is going to be the start. If ANYONE deserves to have free, outstanding healthcare for life, it is our veterans who served and continue to serve honorably. Instead, they are being hit to help give healthcare to illegals and fund abortions for the feministas (It’s their eucharist).
For anyone that didn’t get the memo, the term ‘negro’ is just a tad outdated and although I am not a fan of political correctness, I certainly wouldn’t use it in regards to my black friends or the American black population at large. The press outlets that are reporting this ‘negro’ story are missing the central point – that this is an example of the criminally inept nature of our giant leviathan beuracracies in America.
Let me see how plain I can make this: Even a complete fool, a blathering idiot, an imbecile, a Moran, knows — without a shadow of a doubt — that if you put young men and young women together in an environment where hormones surge continuously they will find each other and they will copulate. It is Mother Nature’s way of insuring the survival of the species.
An unapologetic Harry Reid commented, “A number of states are treateddifferently than other states. That’s what legislation’s all about: compromise.” Meaning those that held out were had even more taxpayer money redistributed to their states. As usual, those standing against the government takeover got the shortest end of the financial stick while those rolling over to the pressure from above reaped the rewards of their treachery.
Here is what your Commander and Chief the man tasked with your protection thinks of American lives. Instead of simply sentencing him in a court without the benefit of citizenship and our Constitution, as he should be, he has been granted all the rights of citizens and in fact more rights than our soldiers who must fear international courts versus our own.
A right is a gift from God that extends from our humanity. Thinkers from St. Thomas Aquinas, to Thomas Jefferson, to Martin Luther King, Jr., to Pope John Paul II have all argued that our rights are a natural part of our humanity. So, our right to life, our right to develop our personalities, our right to think as we wish, to say what we think, stem from our humanity.
The removal of this restriction and the exemption from the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) combine to give this foreign authority greater power to act within our own country against our own citizens than our own law enforcement officials have… and the authority came from the pen of the president.
