Freedom of Speech a Fantasy in America
Consider this: As we observe the degradation of American liberty under the Obama Regime’s first term, what do you think will happen when Obama is not restrained by an impending election? Can America survive as a free constitutional representative republic with a capitalist society? In my opinion, the answer is an emphatic, resounding NO! America cannot survive. At least a FREE America cannot survive.
US Government Badly Broken And Can’t Be Fixed
Too many Americans no longer have the courage of their convictions, as did our forefathers. It would require a division of the states, which would result in a new nation separate from the existing union. You may recall that has already been tried — 150 years ago — and it resulted in the bloodiest war ever on the North American continent and, even then, ended in failure.
UN Seeks “World Tax” To Fund Global Socialism
Any attempt to rule the world is destined to end in utter and abject failure. The people of this planet are far too diverse — and just plain ornery — to agree to live under one government. Any attempt to force a one-world government on earth will lead to wars all over the planet. The earth would be in a constant state of world war. Any FOOL can see that.
There Are None So Blind As Those Who Will Not See
Many of my generation remember Castro — even before he proclaimed he was a communist by his words and deeds. By that time, the people of Cuba were enslaved. The nearest freedom lay ninety miles away — across a watery divide. The “five and ten cents” stores sold Castro hats and Castro beards to America’s children. Castro’s façade was THAT complete and THAT effective.
Obama Regime Continues To Shred US Constitution
If the US Constitution was still in effect, was still an operational document, was still the law of the land, then the Transportation Security Administration would be in very deep trouble today. However, as we have all come to know all too well, the constitution is all but totally ignored today, especially under the administration of the Obama Regime.
GOP Counting On The “ABO” Vote
I’m past ready for a candidate with fire in his or her belly. In my less than humble opinion, the GOP needs a candidate who will get into the gutter where the democrats seem always to take their campaigns. We need a candidate who will trade blow for blow with the Democratic Party candidate — a candidate who will go for the jugular, grasp the throat of the opposition and hang on ‘til the election is won.
A Short Primer On The South
We are accused, often, of still fighting the War Between the States. That is true. We consider this era of forced quietude only half time between us and the North. We have never laid the war down. To quit, to surrender, is not acceptable in our code of honor. So, we fight on. Understand… we will win. It may take another hundred, or even two hundred, years, but we will prevail. We never forget, and we never quit.
War Clouds Continue to Gather
If I have learned anything at all (since Al Gore invented the Internet) it is this: The US mainstream media cannot be trusted. They have an agenda and that agenda does not necessarily include dissemination of the truth. As a card-carrying member of the press for many years, I have always been aware of the left-leaning bias of the US media. That is not to say the same leftist bias does not exist in overseas media because it most certainly does.
Is It Already Too Late For America?
We have compromised and compromised until we have little left TO compromise. Yet, we have two presidential candidates, right now, who are BOTH believers in compromise. They make a big deal of their willingness to compromise. What is needed is the testosterone to stand up on our two feet, like men, and shake our fist in the face of our enemies and say, NO MORE! This is it!
ABUSE OF POWER
As we continue to see Obama’s tentacles spread through the government with his new agencies, Czars, and a myriad of additional rules and regulations handed down by his henchmen – is it too far a stretch to predict that by next fall the Obama Administration will declare a national emergency and suspend the election set for next November? No, I am not kidding — and I fear it is NOT an exaggeration.
Americans Continue to Arm Themselves In Record Numbers
In an article at “The Telegraph,” a British News site, entitled: “Americans buy record numbers of guns for Christmas,” Nick Allen writes: “According to the FBI, over 1.5 million background checks on customers were requested by gun dealers to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System in December. Nearly 500,000 of those were in the six days before Christmas.
What About Gingrich?
The upper echelons of the Republican Party are in a state of high angst. Their phone lines and e-mails are flashing back and forth with amazing speed and in astounding volumes. Many are showing signs of what we southern folks used to call “the vapors” as they place the back of their open hand to their foreheads and slouch softly to the floor in a state of quiet apoplexy.
Christian Churches To Go Underground in America?
Back in 2009, I wrote a piece in which I asked if the Christian church in America was being forced to go underground. As I recently read the news that pastors were being sued for preaching that homosexuality is a sin, I saw clearly that yes, the “real” Christian church in America, in order to continue to stay true to their belief and to God, will be forced to do as the early Christians did – go underground.
The Sino-America War
China’s recent announcement that it will now consider roughly 90% of the South China Sea it’s territorial waters will certainly cause our two navies to brush up against each other and create sparks… sparks that could easily ignite a global conflict between the US and China.
There Really Were Good Old Days
If, as some are suggesting, we are about to have a global financial collapse, we’ll get a “do over.” It won’t be pretty and it is going to hurt like the dickens, but if there is a bright side to an economic apocalypse, it may be that we will get a chance to clean our government of the socialists, Marxists, progressives, and left-wing liberals that spent us into this mess.
Russian Paranoia
Ever since America booted Russia out of the northwest territory of America, Russia has had a chip on its shoulder… at least, as far as America is concerned. We go through cycles with Russia in which Russia loves America for a while, and then Russia hates America for a while. The cycle seems to continue ad infinitum.
Enough, Already, With The Debates
As a former broadcaster, I have to tell you, in my view; the debates are more for the broadcasters and press than for the electorate. Its sort of like the Oscars — Hollywood stars salivating and honoring themselves while preening before the cameras assuring us all of their deep concern for their fellowman. Malarkey! Hogwash!
The Deconstruction Of America
The continuous swirling vortex that is America wounds and wounds deeply. Our leaders come and go. They ascend to the pinnacle of power with grandiose ideas only to be swept to the kneeling benches below by the American people, fickle, as they are, who choose not to accept those ideas or that leader’s choice for the direction of travel he intends to take America. We have seen it time and time again.
The President Who Would Be King
Obama’s past is so vague and so little is known about the man before he won a seat in the Senate that it is extremely difficult to refer to times and places in his past. But I do seem to recall that he was said to have been a constitutional expert and even TAUGHT the US Constitution at some college or other. If so, it is more than a little interesting.
Another Lost Generation of Americans
Power brokers the world over always use the youth to fight their wars and secure their goals. They use youth’s own overestimation of themselves and their intellect. For the most part they are that point in life at which they are dumb as posts. Their minds are mushy and pliable and easily melded into a gestalt or group mentality in which even a coward feels powerful. They think and act as a single animal with multiple voices expressing thoughts not their own.
Big Brother is Listening To Phone Calls And Reading Text Messages
There is no such thing as “privacy” in America any longer. The moment I press “send” on my e-mail, the government scans it. Every time I make a phone call, whether on my land line, or my cell phone, the government monitors it. If I send a fax on an instant message, the government scans the wording of the fax. If and when I send a text message, the government reads it, too. UNBELIEVABLE, right? Believe it.
EPA Attacks The GOP
The EPA is the “Vatican” of the pagan religion “Environmentalism.” In this century, and the last, so many have turned from the worship of a supreme being, we call God, to what we used to call “paganism”… the worship of nature, or the environment, or… more specifically… Environmentalism.
Thou Shalt Not Covet
The motley, rag-tag, battalions of socialism are openly LUSTING after the wealth of others, wealth they have not earned – but — through some warped feeling of their own inferiority, expressed by their inability to compete in the marketplace of capitalism, they feel entitled to the wealth of others. It is wealth to which they have no right.
Three Quarters Of GOP Voters Do Not Support Romney
Weak Presidents are dangerous – not just to America but to the world. We have seen it with Carter and with Obama. Its as if the “Global Police,” America, goes on an extended vacation for four years. All the bogeymen come out to play. The rogue nations have a field day. Nations are invaded, people are slaughtered in their thousands, while America’s allies sweat through the nightmare until the American people become fed up and place a new sheriff in office.
