Why is it liberals flock to the big cities like Chicago, where capitalism has taken a worthless marsh and built the tallest buildings representing the American spirit so many liberals detest? Why is it they go where the buildings block the views of the sunsets and the traffic exhausts pollute their air? They preach against all of this stuff. 






























A letter caught my eye in the lower break room where I work yesterday. I often scan the paper during brief breaks to see what’s going on locally and in Missouri, and to look for different newsworthy items to offer commentary to. I knew John Saxton, who lives in the Springfield and St. Louis areas, deserved my two cents after reading his John McCain middle-of-the-road letter to the Springfield News Leader.
Our forefathers wisdom brought together 13 colonies as one for defense and commerce purposes. At any time any of these colonies felt violated of their rights granted at the Constitutional Convention, they had the right to leave the union.
Is the millennial male drinking too much soy milk, full of estrogen, because it’s hip, tricked into believing it’s better for the environment, or because some health guru told them to? Does it even matter? I sense Paula Cole’s disappointment in Cowboys after Brokeback Mountain. What became of real men? Did the Y2K bug trick computers to redefine men and the calendar bug only a deception as software transformed the John Waynes and the Marlboro men of the United States into femme metrosexuals?
