The American Saga bleeds with betrayal of the American Revolution. How fond a world it would be if all we had was the petty oppression of King George III assaulting our birthright? In the beginning, there were Federalists and ant-Federalists. Alexander Hamilton won the infidelity prize and betrayed the American Revolutionary War much more than Benedict Arnold.
When discussing medical ethics questions that involve when a human being begins to exist, it is crucial that the starting point of our inquiry is empirically based, i.e., based on the accurate scientific facts of human embryology. The need for scientific accuracy becomes particularly clear when addressing the legal protection of the right to life of all human beings. However, there are some —including some Catholics—who do not understand the need for accurate language.

There are some who live in a fantasy world that believe moral values are not necessary to maintaining a solid conservative government. They reject the idea that it takes a firm set of convictions to stop government waste and intrusion. They call themselves “fiscal conservatives” and want us to believe that the only qualification to be worthy of our support is to be in favor of a smaller government.

In 2007, Antarctica set a new record for most ice extent since 1979, says meteorologist Joe D’Aleo. While the Antarctic Peninsula area has warmed in recent years, and ice near it diminished during the summer, the interior of Antarctica has been colder and the ice extent greater.
Islam is the religion of peace? The religion of peace was a failure in Mohammed’s day. Without jihad, there would be no Islam. Islam owes its growth and power to its politics. Whether it is the religion is of peace or not is of no consequence. Islam is the politics of oppression and lethal force.
We often mistakenly assume that our freedoms come from our government. They do not. As the Declaration of Independence so clearly states, “We are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights…” Our Founding Fathers formed this republic with the understanding that we have rights that come straight from God.
Last weekend the San Francisco Chronicle “outed” Proposition 8 Judge Vaughn Walker as an active practitioner of the homosexual lifestyle: “The biggest open secret in the landmark trial over same-sex marriage being heard in San Francisco is that the federal judge who will decide the case, Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, is himself gay,” revealed the Chronicle.
In what normally would be a quiet primary season in red Congressional districts across the country, a few Republican candidates find themselves under a microscope when they expected to coast to an easy primary win. While some claim it’s a violation of Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment, tea party conservatives sin, throwing out the 11th commandment, to ensure the most Constitutional solid candidate gets the party nomination.
It is alleged, because of the Supreme Court’s January 21 decision, that the present court is violating the tradition of the Court as it pertains to “reverence” for stare decisis. Those who criticize the court for going against precedent are placing stare decisis as an end in and of itself, rather than justice or constitutionality.
Anyone who implements the doctrine of Islam is not the friend of a kafir. If they are actually a friend, it is because of the power of the Golden Rule, not Islam. There is no good in Islam for the kafir. Note that this result was reached without the use of a single verse of the Koran (no cherry picking), but uses the systemic nature of its kafir doctrine.
The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.
The question must be asked: what peace are we talking about? Islamic peace. How does Islamic peace come about? Islamic peace comes after jihad and the victory of Islam. Peace is one of those words that everyone considers to be universally good, but peace is what losers (kafirs) get, while winners (Muslims) get victory.
Instead of using science as the path the truth, it is being used like a drunk clinging to a lamp post… more for support than illumination. This is the very same intellectual dishonesty they continually accuse those who are foolish enough to actually believe the principles of the Bible.
Democrats, desperate for votes, have taken to promoting the idea of legitimizing illegal immigrants under the guise of adding them to the rolls of taxpayers and getting them to pay their share. This idea appeals to the many hard working Americans who do their jobs and pay their taxes…
Terminal sedation is abortion for the elderly. You have dementia and get pneumonia? Like Rahm Emmanuel says, Never let a crisis go to waste. See it as an opportunity for a quick exit. No antibiotics and terminal sedation. Abortion completed. Your loved one is healthy but brain damaged like Terri Schiavo and Hugh Finn? No problem. Starvation, dehydration, and terminal sedation. Call it late-term abortion.
The Islam tax is a trillion dollars and counting. If we did not have this tax, it would certainly ease the economic crunch we have today.
This economic squeeze is 1400 years old. Mohammed created jihad, civilizational war. His concept of war was very sophisticated and included all forms of force against kafirs.
I apprehended the horrific story about a false incarceration of American Iraq war hero named Lt. Michael Behenna last year. I rifled through the data base to determine how many more were in similar straits. The number was astounding: No less that 210,000 of our war veterans are in jails at all levels in this land. In Britain, 8,000 of her ex-soldiers are also incarcerated.
We, and the people of Massachusetts, are indeed fortunate that Brown’s was a significant victory, not just squeaking by with a few hundred votes as happened in Minnesota. The difference was too great to be covered by ballots found in the trunk of a car or glitches in a few voting machines.
When the American people chose the candidate who promised to fundamentally change our country in November of 2009, many did not really understand what they were signing up for. We have seen during this intervening year since his inauguration, unprecedented (to use an Obamaism) attacks on individual freedom and our economic well being. One has to consider why this tragedy has come upon us.
