Radical Islamic Speaker at Fort Hood
Just one month after Nidal Hasan waged jihad on our troops at Fort Hood, the Army base welcomed Dr. Louay Safi last week. Safi was on base to speak to troops about to be deployed to Afghanistan. According to CBN News, the man who is a top official for the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) was dispatched to teach our soldiers about Islam before heading into Afghanistan.
Will Holder Prosecute as a Hate Crime?
BHO and Holder wanted hate crime legislation expanded, so let’s see how willing they are to apply it equally under the law. Maybe they’re just waiting for a white on black killing or too busy reading blogs to determine which of us is guilty of a hate crime.
The Catholic Church: Bought by Soros?
George Soros, an avowed atheist, has been channeling money to certain Catholic groups via his Open Society Institute. The groups receiving funds from Soros have been groups of progressive Catholics who have been on the forefront in the Obamacare debate and the debate on amnesty for illegal aliens.
Mumia’s Time May Be Drawing Near
Remember, folks, that the louder the left screams, the less common sense it makes. To obligate the residents of Pennsylvania and the United States to foot the bill for Mumia Abu-Jamal for over 20 years is criminal in and of itself. Now that the left is whining about how this could be it for Mumia, we can only gather that carrying out the original sentence is the right thing to do.
Obama and ACORN: A Timeline
Under the Obama administration, ACORN stands to receive a whopping $8.5 billion in available stimulus funds. Operationally, ACORN is a shell game played in 120 cities, 43 states and the District of Columbia through a complex structure designed to conceal illegal activities, to use taxpayer and tax-exempt dollars for partisan political purposes, and to distract investigators.
The Life of Christ in a Liberal World
We all know about the life of Jesus. God in human form, He came to save mankind from sin and give humanity something much greater to look forward to with no strings attached. The only request made of us mere mortals is to believe and live righteously. No greater gift was ever bestowed on man.
George Soros=Joseph Goebbels
According to worldnetdaily.com, the Associated Press has agreed to allow free publication by four nonprofit groups: the Center for Public Integrity, the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University, the Center for Investigative Reporting and ProPublica. All of these groups are funded by George Soros.
Michigan Wrestling Coach Fired Over Religion
Dearborn, Michigan, has one of the largest Muslim populations in the United States, and, evidently, the slow installation of Muslim culture seems to be alive and well. Controversy over the firing of a popular coach at Fordson High School has erupted in the predominantly Muslim community, according to the Michigan Messenger.
A Tale of Two Cities 2009
The first city sat perched upon a hilltop, emitting a beacon for all to see. The city was guarded by she who proclaimed: “Give me your huddled masses…” Her torch beckoned to all around the world to come and see the wondrous beauty of that city. She stood as an example of the possibility of one’s dreams.
Cap and Trade Earmarks: Big Names and Big Bucks
I started going through the congressionally-directed earmarks in the House Interior and Environment Appropriations passed through the Wacky-Marxist debacle. A lot of names were repeated throughout, so I focused my attention on them. Then, I decided that I’d show what some of the more well-known names in the House got earmarked.
Cap and Trade Earmarks: The Presidentially Directed Side – Part One
The presidentially-directed earmarks were made by none other than Dear Leader himself through the House Interior and Environment Appropriations. Some of them were also requested specifically by House members, but I want to put those earmarks with those who made them, so I’ll probably do that under the congressionally-directed side.
Here a Czar, There a Czar, Everywhere a Czar Czar…
The Obama administration continues to skirt the legislative confirmation process by appointing “czars”. How appropriate coming from a Communist. Yes, czars have been in use by both parties for decades, but every time we turn around, Barry is appointing someone to advance his Socialist/Marxist/Communist agenda without having to be confirmed by Congress. The count is now up to 33.
RED ALERT: Tonight's Menu….PORK!!
The Senate version of the FY2010 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Appropriations Act is going to be coming up for debate and a vote. Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) has uncovered some projects stuffed into this legislation that are suspicious to say the least. While we definitely need to fund DHS, tell me if some of these don’t have a rotten smell about them. Buckle up, kids!!
Cap and Trade: Got Earmarks?
Eight House Republicans voted for the Waxman-Markey bill (shall henceforth be the Wacky-Marxist bill) despite what the constituency wanted. The following is a list of the earmarks those eight put into the legislation they voted in favor of. Grab a cup of coffee and get ready. Duct tape is also recommended.
Cap and Trade: The Price of a Sell Out
Changing her vote from “nay” to “yea” was Debbie Halvorson (D-IL). She swore up and down that she would “never cave in to pressure from Obama to vote yes on cap and trade.” Shortly, after a brief conversation with Barry…”I had a nice chat with the President this morning, and I’m fine with the bill.” One of two things happened at that “chat”: Chicago thuggery politics or she was promised pork for her district beyond anything she imagined. Nonetheless, she needs to go if she can’t stand on principle.

According to Article V of the Constitution, it takes three-quarters of the states to approve any changes to the most precious document written next to the Bible. In those days, it was 9 out of the 13 original colonies. Today, 34 states would have to sign on to convening a Constitutional Convention. Many have the number of states in agreement at 32.
