As you may have gathered from the title to this piece, I am no fan of Nelson Mandela. I never have been. Mr. Mandela was a communist — and a terrorist — and I have no sympathy for either. Consider this written by Colin Freeman, and Jane Flanagan in Cape Town, South Africa, for The […]

Despite the breathless reporting of the 24/7 news channels, the parade of politicians on both sides explaining their positions, the real news is that Americans are finally engaged in a real debate over the debt and the nation’s future. In 2012 they will vote to change course and, just as European nations that also borrowed too much, they will have to accept austerity measures.
Government officials and TV hairdos like to portray heat hysteria warnings as a public service to keep people “safe.” But it’s actually just another step down the road to the complete infantilization of America by a self–appointed group of we–know–best busybodies who don’t think the average American has enough sense to come in out of the sun.

Ever wonder what’s really in the food sold at grocery stores around the world? People keep asking me, “What ingredients should I avoid?” So I put together a short list that covers all the most toxic and disease-promoting ingredients in the food supply. These are the substances causing cancer, diabetes, heart disease and leading to tens of billions of dollars in unnecessary health care costs across America (and around the world).
Every attack by the NAACP on the Confederate Battle Flag only intensifies the determination of my fellow “Sandlappers” to rally ‘round that flag and defend it from all comers. They feel, and rightly so, the Battle Flag is being unjustly vilified by people, regardless of color, who do not know the history of the flag and/or don’t care about the Battle Flag’s glorious past — as a battle field emblem — and have no regard for our confederate great grandfathers who fought, bled, and died beneath it’s beautiful Saint Andrew’s Cross.
The Confederate flag, which continues to come under attack, was the proud banner of Black, White, Hispanic, Jewish and Native American sons and daughters of Dixie who stood nobly in defense of their homeland and way of life during the War Between the States. Once upon a time neither the Confederate nor the Union Veterans or their blood stained battle flag needed any defense.
The most surprising thing about the current heat wave affecting much of the United States is that no global warming charlatan is claiming that it is the result of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Since the late 1980s, Americans were assailed with the global warming hoax until, in November 2009, the release of emails between the trolls ginning up false “climate models” were exposed.
Often assorted agencies end up retaining the seized objects and parcels or require those such possessions should rightly revert back to to go through additional bureaucratic procedures that consume both time and resources. This is for the purpose of pressuring the individual to relent to the seizure of their property and to further enrich the lawyers for whom the regulatory behemoth was ultimately designed to benefit.
Well here’s what 27 years in the Senate brings conservatives who view the debt ceiling fight as the first real opportunity to force the Obama abomination to reduce spending: Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell offers a debt ceiling “contingency” plan that combines pre–emptive surrender with the approval of Nancy Pelosi.
There are some on the right – Mitch McConnell chief amongst them – who fear that the GOP’s stance on principle against debt and taxes will backlash against them politically. They are willing to compromise so they appear to be “reasonable”, and willing to work with the Democrats, as they capitulate to the further destruction of the American economy and to Obama’s “Fundamental Transformation” of who and what we are as a nation.
Americans are afraid the government is screening their e-mail. Americans fear their cell phones are being “tapped” or “hacked” by the DOJ. Americans find themselves whispering when saying anything derogatory about the Obama administration. Americans feel, for the first time, that gnawing feeling of fear and paranoia about their own government, which has the DOJ acting as some sort of “state police.”
If Obama and the moronic economic advisors he brought into office with him—only Treasury Secretary Geithner remains—wanted to turn the economy around all they had to do was cut tax rates, cut government spending, push for deregulation to reduce the costs of doing business, and exercise restraint with monetary policies. They did none of this. Instead, they doubled-down with a massive, failed “stimulus” program, cash for clunkers, and comparable measures.
Aaron Duncan probably won’t be the guest of honor at the Virginia Bail Agents Assn. Christmas party. In fact, he might not get an invitation. That’s because Duncan — a stranger to political spin — told the truth regarding a new law regulating bail bondsmen.
As much as it grieves me to say it, I am STILL convinced that President Obama will win a second term as President of the United States in November of 2012. His win will be followed by the collapse of the United States, as we have known it since it’s founding. Yeah, I know the Gallup pollsters say their poll shows that any GENERIC republican candidate can beat Obama. The key word there is G E N E R I C – not one of the republican candidates running today.
