Scott Brown Election Results Fallout

barney-frankWhere do I even start this morning? I woke earlier than usual and pulled up Memeorandum (aggregated news) to find what the chatter and fallout is this morning, surprise, surprise the left is in a tizzy with infighting, finger pointing, name calling, blame-pinning and all other kinds of goodies. In fact, there is so much of it I don’t even know where to start.

Brown Destroys One Party State

Despite a flurry of last minute negative advertisements, an emergency stumping trip by Obama over the weekend, and threats by one liberal commentator that he would “cheat to keep these bastards out” by voting ten or twenty times, Brown was pushed by a Tea party type surge over the top to a decisive victory. This despite being behind Coakley by double digits in the polls just one month ago. …

Environmentalism Not About the Earth but About Control, Part 1

enviro-naziesInstead of collecting taxes on each gallon purchased, revenuers plan to install censors at gas stations capable of reading the global positioning systems to be installed in nearly all vehicles and, from that, tabulating how far a vehicle has been driven or into what zones they have motored. Proponents of the program claim citizens have nothing to fear from Big Brother since the system would only tabulate mileage rather than specific itinerary.

Onward Christian Soldiers

One thing I can tell you with certainty, regardless of my personal feelings, is that it is a very bad thing for the US military to have allowed these hidden Bible citations to be inscribed on any of their equipment. Like it or not the United States is riding a tiger trying to maintain order across the planet. Our military men and women are stationed in over 130 countries and only a few dozen of these countries are majority Christian.

Democrats Set to Reintroduce Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

Si Se PuedeBetween now an the November Mid-term election Americans can prepare for yet another attempt by the democrats to shove through the Congress an Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill. Oh, it won’t be called that, of course, but in essence, that will be exactly the intent of the bill. Look for a bill with the keywords “Immigration Reform” in it.

Obama's Second Bill of Rights

obama-contempPresident Obama has repeatedly bragged how he would finish what FDR started. His regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, even wrote a book outlining how government (not We the People) would finally be free from the constraints of the Constitution: “The Second Bill of Rights.” Sunstein’s thesis – that there are no God-given or natural rights, but basically rights that the government gives or takes away according to its own expediency and caprice.

Czar Wars & Trolls

cass-sunstein-censorshipAll the while, they’ll deny limiting free speech. They won’t jail anyone. They won’t make anyone disappear, but they will use more subtle means to silence bloggers, or anyone else that disagrees with them. And all the while, they’ll couch their fascism in kind terms. That is what is makes it difficult to define. Always remember that totalitarians never announce themselves, or their true intent. They never tell you the real agenda.

Not exactly Mother Teresa

greenpeace-cfact-banner2Worldwide, 1.5 billion people still don’t have electricity for lights, refrigerators, stoves, schools, shops, hospitals and factories that would bring health, opportunity and prosperity. Yet Greenpeace continues to battle hydrocarbon, hydroelectric and nuclear power, telling people they should be content with solar panels or wind turbines that provide intermittent, insufficient energy – and guarantee sustained poverty.

Distracted by Stupidity

obama-hopelessAs we close in on the anniversary of President Obama’s inauguration (remember the nearly two million folks that showed up in the freezing cold, thrilled to be a part of the hopey-changey thing?), but even by the kindest standards of judgment, it is clear that he is utterly clueless in an over-educated way that reeks of condescension.

The Real White Man's Burden: The Content of Our Character

burdenWe are all living in a diseased and degraded culture. We are all lost in this degenerate age. My point is that we must strive to improve our behavior and fight the “leveling down” by pushing the bar back up. Fight back against the darkness and shine as a beacon to your own loved ones by striving to improve your own character and serve those around you to the best of your ability.
