You might want to look at the CRU estimates of error (between 0.5 and 5) this means the error/noise is greater than the amount they are trying to measure. http://strata-sphere.com/blog/index.php/archives/11420

and the 1940's "blip" they were trying to get rid of

This is from AJ Strata who works for NASA! Thanks AJ

These are some interesting quotes in the follow the money thread.

According to Richard Folland advisor to JP Morgan banking interests:
"The financial sector has a major stake in Copenhagen. Decisions there will affect investment and business. At J. P. Morgan, we are significant participants in the carbon market as traders, project developers and in voluntary carbon offsetting. Our hope for Copenhagen is that we get clarity, to set out the long-term policy framework that investment needs.... Our fear is that an inability to reach an agreement puts these decisions on hold, thus delaying investment...".

In the Congressional Record for 1917, it is reported that "...the J.P. Morgan [banking] interests.... and their subsidiary organizations got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press of the US.... They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. ...an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information....”

Maurice Strong, father of AGW (1972 UN earth summit worked for a rockefeller oil company in the 1950's. He became CEO of 3 oil companies , senior advisor to the UN, World Bank and trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation, founded on Standard Oil money. It funds Greenpeace, Sierra club & WWF The skeptics are funded by Rockefeller's Exxon - an intentional setup for a smear campaign perhaps?

So where is Mr Maurice Strong these days - in China working for CH2M Hill a multinational construction company! China were they are building about two coal plants a week.

And finally where does Maurice Strong stand as a CO2 emitter. Well if you think Al Gore was bad, Strong has him topped by a mile as the biggest source of CO2 emissions in Canada!
