America Is Turning To Socialism
There is an article entitled: “America Moving from Kingdom of Cash to Socialism Slowly but Surely” we recommend you read. You’ll find it on Pravda’s site. And, YES, we DID say PRAVDA!
If any organization on the planet should know a socialist state when it sees one, it is Pravda.
So, who, or what, is Pravda? Well, for those you who attended government schools … Pravda (“Truth”) was a leading newspaper of the Soviet Union and an official organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party between 1912 and 1991.
Pravda newspaper was started in 1912 in St. Petersburg. It was converted from a weekly Zvezda. It did not arrive in Moscow until 1918. During the Cold War, Pravda was well known in the West for its pronouncements as the official voice of Soviet Communism. (Similarly Izvestia was the official voice of the Soviet government.)
Leon Trotsky founded the original Pravda as a Russian social Democratic newspaper aimed at Russian workers. The paper was published abroad to avoid censorship and was smuggled into Russia. The first issue was published in Vienna, Austria on October 3, 1908. The editorial staff consisted of Trotsky and, at various times, Victor Kopp, Adolf Joffe, and Matvey Skobelev.
After the paper was closed down in 1991 by decree of then President Boris Yeltsin, many of the staff founded a new paper with the same name, which is now a tabloid-style Russian news source unaffiliated Internet-based newspaper, Pravda Online (http://www.pravda.ru/) run by former Pravda newspaper employees. A number of other newspapers have also been called Pravda, most notably Komsomolskaya Pravda, formerly the official newspaper of the now defunct Komsomol and currently the best-selling tabloid in Russia. The Pravda article states, flatly, the following: “The appeal to adopt American values doesn’t work either. Why would we adopt the system if the system is in crisis? Pragmatic America realized that billions of people are not willing to live in the kingdom of hard cash and decided that it would be better off leaving this kingdom itself. Now the USA is talking about introducing elements of socialism.” Pravda goes on to say: “What does Obama’s decision not to build the Eastern European Missile Defense System have to do with all of this? Well, it means that it’s not capitalism that’s undergoing the crisis, but the belief in its high efficiency. And this, in turn, means that America, the bulwark of capitalism, is no longer the boss of the world. And if it’s not the boss any more, it has to be friends with everybody, including Russia. And it’s America’s turn to offer Russia to push the reset button. Or maybe it’s just tired of imposing its rules on others and felt that friendship is more valuable than money and power? If this is the case, we will soon witness another turning point in the world history.” You may read the entire article at Pravda HERE.
The point is — we have been attempting to call your attention to the fact that America has been turning to socialism at an ever-increasing speed since the election of the current Congress in 2008 – and — at an even faster pace since the election of the current President, Obama. Now comes a news outlet whose very birth was at the hands of Leon Trotsky, a Bolshevik revolutionary and Marxist theorist, to support our claims! Trotsky was one of the leaders of the Russian October Revolution, second only to Lenin. During the early days of the Soviet Union, Trotsky served first as People’s Commissar for Foreign Affairs and later as the founder and commander of the Red Army and People’s Commissar of War. He was also among the first members of the Politburo. The news outlet Trotsky founded, called Pravda, was an official organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party between 1912 and 1991. Now Pravda is validating what we have been trying to tell you.
So listen up! When old graybeards, like myself, tell you that today’s America is NOT the America we knew, NOT the America we grew up in, NOT the America The Founders of the country intended, we are telling you THE TRUTH! This is not the America we knew, at all! When we say we want our country back, we are absolutely sincere. For today’s America is not ours. Today’s America is only a shadow of our America. Today’s America is a shell of its former self.
Dare I say it again? Yes, I shall! I want my country back!

Once upon a time in a land not too far away, there was a country where the people were desperate for someone to save them from an evil villain. They wanted someone that would offer some real change and fundamentally change the country. Then one day this young man came to their rescue. The young man’s mother was a local and his father was an immigrant. He was abandoned by his father. He graduated from law school with a Doctor of Laws degree.
He gave inspiring speeches and was very passionate and told the people everything they wanted to hear. In his speeches he denounced the old system so, of course, the press and the people fell in love with him. They never questioned who his friends were or what he really believed in. The people never questioned this because they desperately needed “change” and they were right. The current government was less than perfect. He also promised to end government corruption. Bribes were a common way of doing business in this era. Some of his other promises were the transformation of the country into a modern, progressive nation. When he said he would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and education to all, everyone followed. He had the ability to hypnotize the ignorant and fool the wishful thinker and to divide a nation in classes , (divide and you shall conquer) he divided the rich against the poor, the illiterate against the educated and the black against the white. When he said he would bring justice and equality to all, everyone said, ‘Praise the Lord!’. And when this young leader said, “I will be for change and I’ll bring you change” everyone felt a thrill going up their leg and still nobody asked about the change.
He was accused by many of being a communist but he always denied it. During this period repeatedly denied being a communist. He would said, “I don’t agree with communism. We are democracy. We are against all kinds of dictators… That is why we oppose communism”. Socially and economically, a relatively advanced country, certainly by Latin American standards and, in some areas, by world standards. Unlike what its reported by some for the purpose of misinforming, this country also had an excellent educational system and impressive literacy rates, ranked third in Latin America in per capita food consumption, ranked first in Latin America and fifth in the world in television sets per capita, had 58 daily newspapers of differing political hues and ranked eighth in the world in number of radio stations.
Once he came into power, he welcomed communism with opened arms and formed close ties with other communist powers from around the world. He became less tolerant towards people who disagreed with him. People who questioned the wisdom of his policies were discharge and replaced by people who had proved their loyalty to him. These people were revolutionary enthusiasts, totally inexperienced in the task of government, often young, inexperienced politicians who had helped him come into power. Their proclaimed objectives included the restoration of the constitution of 1940, the electoral code and land reform. After their victory, all these were forgotten. He seized agricultural estates, factories, utilities, personal private property and nationalized banks and industries all in the efforts to spread the wealth. By the time all these changes were finally implemented, the country had been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status.
New laws were created by this new leader in this new Utopia:
He banned free elections.
Free speech is punishable as a crime against the state.
Children became wards of the state – forcibly removed from their parents when they become teenagers.
Take away from those that produce and give to those that need because it’s fair and patriotic.
Disarm the populous and they cannot defend themselves against a government that is out of control.
All labor, social, and professional organizations are directed by the state.
The press is controlled. There is no room for opposition. Dissidence means arrest and prison sentences.
By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now under the control of the new government.
These where some of his famous words:
“The revolution has no time for elections. There is no more democratic government in Latin America than the revolutionary government. … If Mr. Kennedy does not like Socialism, we do not like imperialism. We do not like capitalism”
“I warn you, I am just beginning! If there is in your hearts a vestige of love for your country, love for humanity, love for justice, listen carefully… I know that the regime will try to suppress the truth by all possible means; I know that there will be a conspiracy to bury me in oblivion. But my voice will not be stifled – it will rise from my breast even when I feel most alone, and my heart will give it all the fire that callous cowards deny it… Condemn me. It does not matter. History will absolve me.”
I am going to end this story with other famous words of Jorge Santayana:
‘Those who can’t remember the past are condemned to repeat it.’
And in the words of Sir Winston Churchill:
‘The inherent vice of Capitalism is the unequal distribution of blessings, the inherent vice of Socialism is the equal distribution of misery.’
I don’t think I have to name this young leader is and I don’t think I have to mention the name of the country. This happened in a real country not to far away from us.

Communist Theories and Principles
The political theory of socialism, which gave rise to communism, had been around for hundreds of years by the time a German philosopher named Karl Marx put pen to paper. Marx, also known as the father of communism, spent most of his life in exile in Great Britain and France. He wrote the Communist Manifesto in 1848, which later served as the inspiration for the formation of the Communist Party. Communism is also known as “Marxism.”
* Phase 1: A revolution must take place in order to overthrow the existing government. Marx emphasized the nee d for total destruction of the existing system in order to move on to Phase 2.
* Phase 2: A dictator or elite leader (or leaders) must gain absolute control over the proletariat. During this phase, the new government exerts absolute control over the common citizen’s personal choices — including his or her education, religion, employment and even marriage. Collectivization of property and wealth must also take place.
* Phase 3: Achievement of utopia. This phase has never been attained because it requires that all non-communists be destroyed in order for the Communist Party to achieve supreme equality. In a Marxist utopia, everyone would happily share property and wealth, free from the restrictions that class-based systems require. The government would control all means of production so that the one-class system would remain constant, with no possibility of any middle class citizens rising back to the top.
Marx also detailed the 10 essential tenets of communism, namely:
* Central banking system
* Government controlled education
* Government controlled labor
* Government ownership of transportation and communication vehicles
* Government ownership of agricultural means and factories
* Total abolition of private property
* Property rights confiscation
* Heavy income tax on everyone
* Elimination of rights of inheritance
* Regional planning
