As you may have gathered from the title to this piece, I am no fan of Nelson Mandela. I never have been. Mr. Mandela was a communist — and a terrorist — and I have no sympathy for either. Consider this written by Colin Freeman, and Jane Flanagan in Cape Town, South Africa, for The […]

Out of the 250-plus replies I received regarding my recent article, “The Savage silence of the lambs,” and the radio interview Dr. Savage did of me, about half of the respondents took up my challenge to answer the rhetorical question: “Why have virtually the entire conservative and liberal media so hardened their hearts and closed their bowels of compassion against this magnificent conservative intellectual, Michael Savage?”
The Obama Administration certainly seems content to allow Iran to build an “A” bomb even with the knowledge of what Iran will do with that bomb and what the proxies of Iran will do with the “other” bombs Iran will build and surely divvy out to their lackeys in the various Islamofacist farm teams around the world, several of which are active here in this hemisphere and even in this country.
To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, I didn’t leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party left me! I became a conservative 21 years ago in the early autumn of 1988 while a graduate student at Harvard. Coincidentally, a young Barack Obama had that same year also matriculated to Harvard, being formerly educated by such communist and socialist luminaries as Frank Marshall Davis, Saul Alinsky and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright in the fundamental rudiments of nation annihilation.
As the next few days and weeks reel off the pages of the calendar, be prepared for a flurry of activity on Capital Hill as the Democrat Socialist Party pushes the Sotomayor nomination for the Supreme Court through as quickly as possible. Nothing much will change in the way The Court makes decisions now as Sotomayor is simply replacing another liberal, David Souter. However, the stage is being set for the N E X T opening on the court coming soon, I expect, much sooner than any Americans might believe.
My old Pappy used to say that the persecution of the early Christian Church was the greatest thing to happen to the church since the Resurrection. It forced the church to spread through out the modern world of that era. In doing so, it spread the Gospel, the “Good News” of the newly formed Christian church and sank its roots deep into what had, until that time, been pagan soil.
Every working class individual will have more taxes taken out of their earnings, while a biased media purposefully keeps us ill-informed and even eager for this wonderful change, preparing us to embrace socialism. Since he took office, President Obama has been working hard to undermine our nation. He does not want America to succeed. Obama hates what he perceives our country to be, and he will not be content until he remakes our nation to his liking.
Global average temperatures peaked in 1998 and since have cooled slightly, despite steadily rising CO2 levels. Except in its Western Peninsula, Antarctica is gaining ice, and Antarctic sea ice reached an all-time high in 2007. Arctic ice is seasonably normal, and in 2008 the Northern Hemisphere was covered by more snow than ever before recorded.
The observer of intellectual trends might note the contradictory nature of today’s philosophical scene. For while proponents of the status quo purport to be characterized by a considerable latitude of conscience, such professed flexibility ultimately turns back on itself and bears down harshly upon any dissident daring to question the system’s most cherished assumptions. The prevailing outlook can be characterized as a pragmatic Postmodernism.
So the big push has begun! The big push for socialized medicine in the United States. Altho, there is little funny about this boondoggle, it is sorta funny to watch the socialists in the US government, including the Obama Administration, tie themselves into knots to avoid using the words “socialized” and “medicine” in the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence. Nevertheless, that is exactly what they are proposing… socialized medicine.
Promising “change”, promising a government free of “lobbyists”, promising “transparency”, and generally promising a new dawn of enlightened government, Barack Obama and his majority in Congress arrived on January 20, 2009 and promptly began to bankrupt the nation, deprive Americans of access to its vast energy resources, and seek to impose an insane law predicated on the belief that carbon dioxide, vital to all life on Earth, was a “pollutant” that had to be reduced and, of course, heavily taxed.
The enduring words of French Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire – I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it – have stood as a salient sentinel of free speech for over two centuries, yet why do I hear these crickets ringing in my ears? Why aren’t the so-called conservative media coming to the rescue of their fellow ideological colleague, radio host and conservative intellectual Dr. Michael Savage?
The question that really troubles many of us is why the President doesn’t just present the evidence that he is a natural born American citizen and put it all to rest? It seems so simple. Yet, reports have it that the President has legal teams, all over the country, fighting all attempts by citizens to get to the bottom of what could turn out to be a constitutional crisis for the country. Some reports say that huge sums of money have been spent, already, just to stop the release of that birth certificate from the state of Hawaii. Why not release that certificate and put this whole thing to rest?
And then there is the unfortunate fact that a lot of Christians come across as religious know-it-alls. They know how to spout and fume, but it takes more than an affirmation of one’s faith to convince a thinking mind to believe in God.
What can you say when you meet an atheist who challenges your belief in God? Most atheists think that Christianity is an enormous leap of faith. Allow me to show you what happens when former atheists take that step.
When you launch a military adventure in hopes of gaining territory, you risk losing more than you gain. That risk is a significant disincentive to aggression. Why should Muslims be exempt from it? They declared a war of genocidal intent. They lost. They demand that territory, which they had illegally seized in ’48 and lost in ’67 when they attacked Israel again, be returned to them. That is avarice & arrogance, with no foundation on justice or equity.
It is an open secret in Washington, D.C., that Obama and his fellow Democrat travelers in Congress want to push through an amnesty in order to increase the number of voters likely to support Democrats in coming elections. Congress has a short memory and no doubt has conveniently forgotten the firestorm of protest that erupted when the Bush administration attempted the same thing.
