Chimpanzee Cartoon: New York Post Charged with Obama Racist Tag

The New York Post is receiving racial flack for a cartoon they ran linking the crazy chimpanzee to the stimulus package. I don’t know, considering Pelosi had more to do with the Stimulus package than Obama, I think it’s a stretch. I personally don’t find it offensive. Government is a monkey on the backs of many, and the stimulus bill is the King Kong of all government spending. It’s quite clever, and it foreshadows what’s coming. Now Congress has their pet projects they held knowing Bush wouldn’t pass them, there will be stimulus two after stimulus one fails. I’m willing to bet a chimp could write a better stimulus package than what Obama, Pelosi, and Reid came up with. As a former member of the armed services and from a family with two World War Two veterans, I find Attorney General Eric Holder’s comment calling America a nation of cowards far more insulting. Let’s stop being over-protective of Obama. Obama and his policies need tough analyzing so we have a nation when he is finished experimenting. George W. Bush had far more ugly things thrown his way, not to mention the racial slurs against Condoleeza Rice. The same people who are upset with this cartoon are the same people who gave Obama’s preacher, Jeremiah Wright a pass from his racial hate. There’s obviously a double standard when it comes to Obama, who received the same free pass after nearly 20 years of sitting in a church that preached hate for white people. Free speech isn’t always beautiful, but it’s better than the alternative.
