Executive Order on Gun Control Right Under our Noses
Never one to be bothered by the majority if it’s one of his pet projects, Obama has vowed to continue to push for gun control in spite of the recent failure of Congress to do what he wanted them to do. Unfortunately for him, Obama is not really a dictator. He just portrays one on TV when he’s deigning to talk down to all of us, using his index finger as if it was a gun as he peppers listeners and viewers with apoplectic finger stabs to underscore his points.

I sure as heck did not receive an invitation to attend, and I didn’t partake of all the offerings on TV of the Inauguration. I figured I’d see all I wanted to see, and then some, of Mr. Obama over the next four years so why overindulge this early on in the game. Besides, the remarks made by Douglas Adams, a British comedy writer crossed my mind. Mr, Douglas is credited with having said: “
“Change” was a mantra of President-elect Barack Obama, and “change” is what propelled him into the White House as the first black president of the United States by defeating a sitting senior senator from New York and the wife of the original “first black president,” Bill Clinton. Yet, I don’t see real change with Obama; I see Presidents Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Jimmy Carter and William Clinton, redux (part II) – but also LBJ and George W. Bush.
