Eight Stages of Civilization and the USA
The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7.* From apathy to dependence; *It has been suggested that this is where the USA currently finds itself
8. From dependence back into bondage
It is time we get our spiritual houses in order. We are going to see strange days ahead. If we are not prepared, the time of which we live, it will overcome many. Senator Barack Obama is a deep dark foreboding odious man. The people that helped spawned his political life are criminal thug and anti- American. Yet “the world loves it’s own.” (John 5:19) Obama will win this election if the Almighty does not intervene.
Friends, love your families and strengthen yourselves with the Word of God. The Holy Spirit cannot bring to remembrance what you have not already learned. More than ever, study the scripture with your wives, husbands, your Children and grandchildren. “Do not forsake the assembling of each other” on the Lord’s Day. (Hebrews 10:25) It will be our own families, close friends and our faith in an awesome Savior-God who will see us through what lies ahead. If you have not contacted your GOP “Victory Center” in your area to help get out the vote, please do. Victory Centers
