Congressman John Lewis issued the following race-baiting tirade against the McCain-Palin ticket:
“As one who was a victim of violence and hate during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, I am deeply disturbed by the negative tone of the McCain-Palin campaign. What I am seeing today reminds me too much of another destructive period in American history. Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin are sowing the seeds of hatred and division, and there is no need for this hostility in our political discourse.”
Do you remember, John Lewis, that George Wallace was a Democrat during most of his political career?
Do you remember that Wallace was shot five times while campaigning for the presidency?
Are you so blinded by your own racism that you are unable to see any contrary opinions as anything but bigotry?
Would you prefer to simply skip the election and just install Barack Obama as president by popular consent?
Is it your intent to ignite feelings of hatred against John McCain and Sarah Palin of such intensity that they will become open targets for a deranged assassin?
It seems that it is folks like John Lewis who are speaking and acting irresponsibly.
BARACK OBAMA is not God! His political views are not sacred or Holy!
People can and do disagree with Obama and want to hold him fully accountable.
That does NOT make anyone racist!

After Obama is elected - I will say that God made him President. I will demand that anyone who disagrees be silenced.
Just kidding. haha That would be what the righties did with Bush. It was wrong then and it will be wrong when Obama is in office.
I would like to say that while myself and others were warning about the PATRIOT Act and about the executive order that gives the President the right to assume dictorial powers (without congressional approval) and the signing statements that defy the law… you called us Bush Haters.
Well - now Obama will have all that power. I hope you are scared.
Matter of fact… I think we’ll hold off on the revolution long enough to see you morons herded off like cattle.
