For on that date, Mexican-born Medellin will be executed in Texas for his role in the rape and murder of two teenage girls 15 years ago.

Regrettably, this human trash will be spared the bitter agony and awful pain suffered by his victims. Instead, Texas will send Medellin on his not-so-merry way by administering a lethal injection, a procedure roughly equivalent to getting a flu shot–admittedly with one hell of a lot more wallop and finality!
Of course, bleeding heart liberals will complain that even a lethal injection will violate Medellin’s eight-amendment protection against “cruel and unusual punishment.” In fact, however, a simple injection is too good for this sub-human monster.
Besides, the US Constitution does not ban the death penalty, so the framers obviously accepted the fact that it would be necessary for the government to terminate the lives of particularly offensive vermin, like one Jose Medellin.
In other words, in and of itself, the death penalty is NOT cruel and unusual. Inflicting death is bound to cause pain and suffering, but pain is not unconstitutional!
Thank God the United States Supreme Court ruled that our idiot president exceeded his authority by trying to order Texas to reconsider Medellin’s case and the cases of 50 others born in Mexico and condemned for murders in America.
With their ruling, the SCOTUS reaffirmed the continued validity of that Texas battle cry–”Don’t Mess With Texas!”
Get it Dubya?
Meanwhile, the count down begins for ending the unwelcome presence of Jose Medellin in Texas, in America, and on the planet.
Which brings up an interesting question: How do you say Happy August 5 in Spanish?
Cinco de Augusto?
Whatever, it will be a genuine pleasure to say Adios! to Jose Medellin, come August 5!
