I find it very interesting that Americans have a problem with the fact that Obama a black man belongs to a church that teaches Black Liberation Theology. I think that a black person needs to know information about his or her blackness/ history. I have not seen or heard of any Americans having a problem with any of our presidents belonging to a church that teaches Regular Theology which is basically White Theology being that it gives no knowledge to the black persons involvement in regards to spirituality. I think it's very important for Black Americans to know Black Theology/True Black History not for the purpose of becoming angry but for the purpose of knowing where they come from and that they have value in this world. The educational systems of this world do not give black people that type information or sense of belonging so if blacks are going to become better people we need to learn more about our history and not just the slavery part but the accomplishments and positive things blacks have done in this nation as well as in the bible.
